Comment: I couldnt ask for more helpful or customer friendly than the people at Outback Storage in Orange. Linda the manager of the facility went out of her way to help me when my brother passed unexpectedly with the storage unit. I live out of state and had to make a several trips out to CA to resolve matters that included the removal of all items in the unit. The facility is a very well maintained and clean location. It has gated entry access with code selected by the tenant. There is camera security all around the premises. If I have the need of a storage unit in the Orange County CA area again, Outback Self Storage in Orange would be my first choice. Thank you Linda. I am very grateful for your kindness, assistance and understanding.

Comment: I’m a current student at Chapman University and I just rented a storage unit from Outback today as I’ll be studying abroad for the next couple of months. The lady working at the desk, Linda, was incredibly generous with her time and very helpful in getting me the best possible unit for the items I needed to store. She even offered to hold on to my spare key should something happen while I’m out of the country. I was also given the option to have 24 hour access as my departure date was so close that she was worried I made need extended time to get everything shored away. I would recommend Outback to anyone planning to store items well in advance or anyone like me who had to find a place last minute. They’re incredibly flexible and willing to work with you to ensure you get the best possible experience and the best bang for your buck.

They accused me of breaking their gate, when I barely had an inch to spare on either side to move my customer in their unit and I still managed to not touch their gate coming in or going out.My customers even complained they were nervous for their cars with those gates. Definitely not a good sign if people with regular cars are nervous about damages because the gates are too small...

Comment: I haven’t had a good experience at this place. Back in August 2019, I went to the office to rent a space. I talked to Natalie ( I think this is her name) and she gave me the price of $419 for a 10x50 space. I cancelled my reservation in another storage to park my dump truck and trailer at Outback. When I came back to pay the space, Linda told me the space rent was $480 (huge difference of what I was told initially). She didn’t care what I was told. If I wanted the space, I had to pay the $480. Since I didn’t have anything in writing or any other space to rent, I accepted the $480. I was in the office this week to rent another space. I was looking for a 10x30 and Linda told me she only had 10x25 space; she showed me that space (#140). I decided to shop around and Placentia Self-storage center contacted Linda, who informed them she had a 10x30 space available for $329. I called Linda and she said she was going to rent me the space for $329. It was the same space (#140) she had showed me the day before saying it was 10x25. I went to the office to pay; Linda was not there and the person who helped me charged me $339. I went back the next day and Linda said the price was $339. Since this time I had it in writing with Placentia Self-storage, she honored the $339, but only starting next month because supposedly she couldn’t return the $10 extra charge. I am very dissatisfied that this office changes the prices as they please.

I got the feeling that Linda is very customer oriented and has a genuine concern for the customers that come through the door. When I Called and asked if the unit had lighting inside, she apologized and said no. When I arrived and she took me to look at the unit personally she found one that had an exterior light on the outside so as to help me out as best she could. Comment: Horrible customer service, rude manager and completely over priced. Refused to work with me when I was going thru financial hardship, after being a loyal customer for almost 10 years. The rent would continue to increase constantly and to top that off, one day while trying to access my unit...the door came flying down and almost struck me in the head. Had I not had my patio chairs stacked up near the front of the space, I likely would have been knocked out by the impact. The chairs took the blow instead. All in all, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Only plus side is the locations proximity to my home. Still, not worth it.

I want to thank Linda who made my moving into storage pleasant, awesome and enjoyable. After 21 1/2 years in my dwelling I had to make a move and was frazzled about it and she was an Angel. Under pressure and sad over the move yet happy for a new journey, she made the process awesome. Thank you Linda and thank you Outback Storage.

Comment: On December 26, 2016 (the day after Christmas) I received a text from Outback that my unit may have flooding due to a sprinkler being triggered. When I arrived, the entire B building at the storage facility was flooded due to a fire alarm being triggered by one of the other units in the building. The entire building of over 200 units had wet floors and workers were busily mopping up the mess and using blowers. My sofa, my TV stand, and anything touching the floor was ruined. There are no drains in the entire building, absolutely no drains. The floor over the entire building is level (no grading at all), therefore any water damage from one unit spreads to the other. There is no remediation/fix planned to prevent this from occurring again.

Comment: I came by Outback Storage with a friend and we received the best customer service from the Manager Jenny. She was a sweetheart. We left to compare prices at other locations near by and WOW what a difference! My girlfriend did not rent the day we went but went back another day and did. Just because of the Manager at Outback Storage. She was professional and sweet. If I ever need storage I would definately go here.

Comment: This facility is very well run. I have been to several storage facilities and this one is extremely impressive. The storage facility was really clean, the units are easily accessible and they offered a free move in truck. The managers Jenny and Maria are very friendly and very helpful. I will be recommending my friends to rent there.
