This is the location I order from every time I visit from out of town. Never had a problem until recently on several occasions. It has been cold, wrong items and rude employees. Tonight was the last straw, not so much that the order was wrong, but more in the way the manager Dre handled the problem. I had to wait almost 15 minutes to talk to the manager, while one of the employees was apologizing for my wait. And then he just blew me off. He was rude and just didn’t seem to care. Done!!!! I will NEVER give this place my business again!!! Rude!!! Shame on you!!!!
Visited location for curbside pickup. Team member never brought out food had to go in to grab items. Food was cold order was incorrect with several items missing. Not the least bit surprised by the experience in retrospect after speaking with the manager on duty Dre. Worthless would be polite to describe this bottom feeder. Dre is rude, unprofessional, and has zero business savvy.It now makes sense to me that this location was operating worse then a redline bodega. Im certain hes grateful of the labor shortage or hed be unemployed. Dre couldnt quite possibly operate a free lemonade stand efficiently, Im convinced. Thanks to corporate for effectively rectifying his blatant incompetence in a timely efficient manner. If you district/ regional managers receive bonuses and incentives hes taking food off your plate. Avoid this location at all costs.
The Staff we encountered were very friendly. Though service was slow out of the kitchen, meals were made correctly and were good. I did not see anyone cleaning tables the whole time we were there and there was turn over. In these times, cleaning the tables & wiping drink & coffee machines regularly should be high priority.
I love the food. Just about everything. My big issue is the last 4 times, including today, something is missing from my order. Today it was the can of soda, last week the apple side, twice, and then the baguette. other than that I would give them 5 stars. they really should use the checklist on the receipt. Just an idea.
I’ve been waiting over 10 minutes for half a chicken Caesar.I can see everybody doing anything but making half a chicken Caesar.I get it’s late but it says you are open until 10pm. I got a small dinner to be quick 12 hour day at the office.That was horrible service!At least tell me it’s gonna be slow!
This location is a mess. Delivery orders are beyond late, like and hour and a half sometimes. And pick up orders are often wrong. Today they didn’t include items in my pick up order and messed up a sandwich. What is going on with this location?I gave it 2 stars because the food is still good, when you do finally receive it.
Good food, a little slow at taking orders or getting food ready, but Panera is one of these chain restaurants where food is fairly consistent, pending running out of items, it taste and looks good and for a fast food it is fairly healthy, or at least has decent healthy dishes to choose from among more decadent options.Panera is always one of my choices for lunch or breakfast.
Incredible customer service. I have no doubt the team is busy, and I ordered during the pre-lunch rush. I got back home and realized that a sandwich was missing from my order. I called and without hesitation the team made my sandwich and delivered it to my home in only about 15-20 minutes, and even included a cookie to say sorry. These folks know how to create customers for life!
Drove twenty minutes to location and waited in drive through line for another 20. Ordered a bowl of corn chowder, a side salad, and a half gallon of lemonade. Order I received had a cup of broccoli cheddar, no salad dressing, and a cup of lemonade. Absolute joke. Waste of time and money.
Just ordered a turkey bacon bravo in the drive thru, on the road so couldn’t go back to return it, no bacon on the sandwich. How does a sandwich that literally has “bacon” in the name get served without bacon? On top of that the stupid thing is about $10 for just the sandwich…. What a waste…
6/12/19 dinnertime. 4 adults. OK, so it was crowded and busy. ....but still, you still charge the same, you dont discount your prices because youre going to give wrong, terrible food to customers on busy days. (Who knows, maybe you give terrible food and terrible service on slow day?). Anyway, got 3 of the 4 orders wrong. Never made them right even after it was brought to the staffs attention. Plus, my wife overheard the manager being extremely snotty and rude to a customer (not in our party but nearby). No excuses. .....and its not like theres not 4,000 other restaurants within about 3 mile of this location.
The staff and managers here are wonderful. I enjoy most everything on the menu. But when I tried the new warm grain bowl through the drive-thru, I was disappointed in it. I was definitely not warm and was not pleasant to eat. I called the store and Jonathan apologized for the error and said that he would be more than happy to replace my cold grain bowl meal anytime. Well I went today, and he went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. Great bowl and great customer service. Still a Panera customer for life. :)
Last 2 orders of carryout salads with chicken was missing....wait for it....THE CHICKEN! and since its dtop off on porch during covid you cant check until gone. Complained online got nothing. Will not ever go back. Plenty of other places that actually bring correct orders...
I have never had the worst customer service at any Panera and never had this hard of a time trying to get ahold of anyone, I called several times to which the phone was picked up then hung up on me, I didnt even voice my concerns yet. All I want is for an employee to refund my delivery that was completely wrong, completely cold. For a company that is all about customer service, I am very disappointed by this location and the fact that there are issues every time from this location. I love Panera, but unfortunately this location is ruining it.
My visit to Panera Bread was uneventful. I was impressed that I was able to place my order online, without having to download another app. The speed through the drive-through continues to be an issue for Panera, but this is intrinsic to their product offering. Its going to take a bit longer to make a panini compared to an order of nuggets at McDonalds. Im OK with that, and my wait was not too bad.The big 5-star review, though, is based on the MyPanera+ Coffee plan that I saw an advertisement for while waiting. Although it doesnt work for me due to operating hours and locations, Panera offers a monthly unlimited coffee plan for $9/month. Thats insane! Thats less than one week of Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts - the other players in the area (and the ones that are open when I commute). I still cant get over it -- $9/month for unlimited coffee that normally sells for over $2 a cup...
The manager Joe from this location rocks !! I ordered food from the other Livonia location and was missing items. The store would not pickup the phone after calling 15 times to try to get ahold of someone. I called the 6 mile location to see if they could connect with the other store for me. Joe ended up making it right and having his store just deliver it for me. Thank you so much! Awesome customer service here!
This Panera location is terrible. I have been there 3 times, and all 3 times they have gotten my order wrong. Not a little wrong, a lot wrong. This last time they forgot 3 items on my list. Seriously, how hard is it to look at the order and add it to the freaking bag?! When I called to complain, the corporate office noted that this location has had many problems. Do yourself a favor, go to another Panera location.
The food is great and delivered to the table instead of having to carry it myself. I LIKE THAT. Coffee tastes great I enjoy the mugs instead of the paper cups. The menu is great with the pick 2 option. Oatmeal raisin cookies are a favorite and any of the soups are a good choice. I wish there was a smaller cinnamon crunch topped bagel I would eat it more often although I do splurge at times but not often. The staff sometimes seems overwhelmed behind the counter when it gets busy or there is no one at the front register because everyone is doing something else thats necessary. Also, when it gets busy the bins of dirty dishes needs to be removed more often to avoid stacks of unbalanced precariously placed dishes. I noticed recently that the issue of stacked dishes has changed! GREAT JOB!! I also noticed more people available at the front counter. ANOTHER POSITIVE CHANGE !! Thank you.
Consistently good food including their soups, breads and salads. Iced tea is pretty good, too. And I try to ignore their Danishes and desserts but thats pretty difficult to do. So far, I have never regretted eating here.And since I am severely allergic to certain foods, their staff is quite knowledgeable about the ingredients. And this is greatly appreciated.
I work in the area and we have ordered breakfast and lunch from Panera at least once or twice a week since I started in November. The Panera in the area recently moved to this location on Six Mile and since then, it has been nothing but disappointment. Our delivery orders take well over the estimated time for arrival, and there was a time we called the restaurant to check to see if everything was ok because we had ordered over an hour ago and could see the driver was circling around us but never made it- the manager said they tried to contact the driver but couldnt get a hold of her and had no idea when our food would arrive. We work across the street from this location.Not to mention, every time we do place an order online for delivery, if it doesnt show up later than the expected delivery time, the order is wrong, its usually both.I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese and received a sandwich of bread and cheese. I called to let them know and they said they would mail me a gift certificate.... that was 3 months ago and I havent received anything. So disappointing. I understand restaurants make mistakes, especially around the busy times, but this has been consistent and when we call to let them know, theres no follow up and nothing changes. So why would we continue to go to them?
The smallest Panera store I have seen. however its clean and friendly staff. for the past three times I was there they always miss part of my order and I have to remind them.!! last time I was there, beside forgetting my Baguette loaf. it seems they ran out of salad so the kitchen gave me whatever left with a few lettuce leafs lol. Great service! They got my order wrong for a rapid pick up - gave me a strawberry poppyseed chicken salad without chicken. I had already used my lunch break and gotten back to my office before I discovered this. So I called and told them what happened and they immediately sent a driver out with a corrected salad to my office for no additional charge. I got the salad in less than 10 min! Thanks to Katie for helping me out!
Panera is a great place to get food. The building is clean and well managed. The food is fresh and reasonably healthy. The service is quick, and offers versatile options in terms of whether or not you want to sit down or take your food to go. Panera has an app where I order my food in the car and by the time i get there it is warm and ready to go all packaged up for me. It is quite nice. All payments for this service are done through the app, and the process is very streamlined. The menus offer food that is good for High kids and adults. Vegetarian options are available and good. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Been there a few times and have yet to receive my order right. Super slow service. 1 time received chicken pesto sandwich without pesto. Another time ordered 3 sandwiches with bag of chips and received 1 cookie instead. Will definitely use other places for lunch instead now.
Good service from one employee named DeAndre that took our order through the drive-thru. The pickup window woman was much less friendly or efficient and not accurate at all. After she took our money and didnt give us a receipt, proceeded to hand me to green passion smoothie which i informed her that we only ordered one and she said well that heres two and closed the window. We sat there for a very long time waiting for order once she gave it to us she said have a good day everything is to here which it was not. Luckily we checked our order before driving away so we sat there for a few more minutes until she finally came back to the and i then let her know i would like my receipt copy and we are missing two items and we are missing two items. when she handed me the receipt she went to go get the other items on the receipt it clearly states that accuracy matters your order should be correct every time and if its not we will fix it right away and give you a free treat for your trouble just let an associate know. She brought our order incompletion however no additional treat for our trouble was given, also in reviewing our receipt it appears that we were charged for two green passion smoothie which are $5 each or total bill was over $26 so im a little perturbed that the service was not good. I did not say anything about the free tree i was just severely irritated by the fact that she messed her order up and had i driven away and gotten home i would have had to turn back around and come get it but then the fact that i found out at the window when she didnt honor what is clearly stated on the panera bread receipt.
This was the worst order I have ever received.. got a you pick two .. grilled cheese... THIS SANDWICH WAS NOT GRILLED.. it was microwaved!!!!!! Just white bread with floured out meted cheese.. my kids used to do this with a grilled cheese.. I can tell a microwaved sandwich..,ridiculous.. and I received regular Pepsi instead of diet.. I get it that restaurants are struggling.. I try to give them my service.. not this place EVER!!!!
I suspect the Sandwich Artist that built my masterpiece is still a Sandwich Apprentice. This was revealed to me by the haphazard way the building blocks of my sandwich were applied to the foundation. Scattered, but not spread, no love nor care given. To top off the toppings, there seemed to be too few. Finally, my hot cup of coffee was nowhere near hot and was in fact lukewarm. Alas, Panera, your Sandwich Apprentices need more apprentice-ing.
Very quaint business casual location. Visited during covid mask are required. There was no wait outside and safe distance is practiced. There outside area is open. The food was fresh and delicious. There strawberry banana smoothie is delicious! I would visit again. Very nice décor, love the coffee decoration by the front counter
This location has given me my salad and Mac n cheese without utensils. Never questioned panera with that because their accuracy was always on point until this location. I have been back 4 times and I have been waiting over 19 minutes in the drive thru. New management? Lack of management? Very disappointing. You can wait in line for lunch and end up ordering dinner and the cost is just so high for such a long wait. Target can teach them a thing or two with short lines. I guess I could order ahead... or just not come here anymore. I feel it’s important to speak up regarding gaps. Upper management is ignoring this locations and it’s needs. It’ll show soon enough when everyone else loses faith in the accurate and timeliness panera is typically known for.
First time ever going there and they gave me the entirely wrong sandwich, which is fine, it happens. But while waiting at the window for them to remake my sandwich, I watched a girl sneeze over the prep table without covering it, then a manager I presume with a different colored shirt, laughed at said girl sneezing all over the prep table. Within the 2 minutes I waited no one wiped anything down :/ like come on how you about to do that
I just started working in the business park that this Panera is located in and go use rapid pick-up about once a week. Today was the first day that I have had any issues. I ordered a u-pick-2 and they forgot 1/2 the order in the bag. I unfortunately didnt realize until I was back at my desk. I called back and the manager Kim was very helpful. She offered to deliver the sandwich to my office. I instead went to go pick it up and she saw me right away and included a cookie and free beverage voucher in my order. Awesome service. Yay Kim!
Service was fine. Brought coffee upon arrival at 9ish it was cold asked why and was told they stop making it at 7:00. So in addition to being cold it was old/stale 😔. Grilled cheese on texas toast was horrible - if your gonna use that type of bread you probably should use more cheese.
Very disappointed in the staff and manager. Also, they always run out of items near the end of the day. How do you run out of romaine lettuce?I asked for a greek salad and it had kale and spring mix. The staff informed me....oh Im sorry we are out of romaine. Not good! Prepare enough food for the entire day. When I ask for a specific cookie and they say we ran out and I see them packaged at the counter, not good. Check the individually wrapped cookies before you tell your customer no. Just not a fan of this location. Love their salads and food all around.
The office that i work at did a order on Saturday September 19, 2020I got a greek salad it was disgusting, it had red peppers and everyone knows that there no red peppers in a greek salad and the lettuce wasnt fresh.I took 2 bites and lefted it sitting on the table. Never again ugg @
I love Panera, but Im done with this location.First started with the lady that rang my order up incorrectly, due to the huge line I decided not to make her void out the order. I wanted 3 cups of soup and she rung up 2 bowls and a cup.Second the lady that was expideding the orders, had long hair, no hat or hair net. Thats just nasty.Third and the final straw 18 minutes to get 2 bowls and a cup of soup.The 3 soups and 3 cookies came to 29.83Not to mention the 30 minutes total time to get through the line and get my food.Ill never go back to this location.
I’ve ordered 4 times. Only satisfied with 1 of my orders. Good luck! Im done with this store. Can’t even call and talk to a manager. Literally called for 20 minutes. No answer. What they didn’t forget wasn’t made right. They threw salad lettuce on my sandwich. I’ve never had a bad experience with a Panera except for this location. Poor product
Drive thru service is horrible!Every time I order, the server doesnt understand what I said, instead of asking politely to repeat myself, they ask in a very rude manner as if they are trying to tell me that I have no clue about whats on the menu. I have to repeat like 2 or 3 times. Id be fine with that if only my order turns out to be accurate. It never does! It misses something everytime. The wait at the window is 10 minutes on average. No exaggeration! I am done with this place!
Hate to review like this, as I love Paneras food. Rolled up in drive thru at 8 am today, 4th car in line. Took me 13 minutes to get to window, all I ordered was oatmeal. Once rep took my payment, she walked off to maybe get my food? Nope. 5 minutes later she finally came back with it, no apologies for the wait, etc. Oatmeal takes 2 minutes to make. Even the lady behind me was getting visibly upset I could tell. Really disappointed in the drive thru.
There was one person taking orders for the entire store. It took like ten min to place my order. One worker making food and fulfilling to go orders. Another 10 to get my food. And the restaurant was not busy at 445pm. It was not that the staff was inefficient, the restaurant was just understaffed.
This is a new location that was recently moved from up the street. The staff is friendly and the interior give lots of seating choices. The food is decent, but you can tell they are still adjusting to the new workspaces. The tables have NFC chips in them for their pager system, so if you have a smartphone with NFC enabled, it will buzz randomly if you are reading with it laying on the table. I had to turn mine off.
This place is absolutely horrible. Shame on me for even giving them a second chance and going back. Will never go back. They cheat you out of ingredients! Really? No avocado in an avocado chicken sandwich. No utensils in drive through. So I am supposed to eat Mac and cheese with my hands eh? The reason people do drive thru is to eat on the go. Thanks so much for no utensils so I didn’t get to eat. Amazingly stupid place.
The customer service is obnoxious. We ordered our food and were waiting patiently. She came over and asked what I had and I told her. She delivered it to me w/o my smoothie and I told her and she gave me some snotty attitude even though I was politely telling her. She was being extremely rude to all of us even though we did nothing. They kept messing up our orders and there was a lady who got here before all of us and was waiting for a HOT CHOCOLATE and didnt get it until after we got out stuff. The lady who was supposed to be delivering our food just decided to give it to a mom that was with us and the mom was the new “waitress”. Not only was this mom helping the people she came with, but also the other customers who were waiting forever. All in all, the customer service needs to improve and the people who deliver the food need to learn how to talk nicely, especially when thr customers dont do anything. The food was great thougha and the ladies who took our orders were Jems!!!
By far the WORST Panera. I order the same thing, from every Panera location and this is the only one that refuses to make it correctly. I get a salad without romaine lettuce just because I got e. coli twice from their lettuce and every time I order from here they put it in there. The delivery drivers and the line people are by far the rudest people Ive ever had to encounter. Normally, I dont complain, but my order today made me so sick. I love Panera, but this has pushed me over the edge.
This new(ish) location is terrible. Ive visited at least 5 times and Ive always had issues. If I order through the app in advance, my food is not ready for 15 minutes past the estimated time. Yesterday I went through the drive thru with my children and ordered. After ordering I was told that all drive thru orders were combined with the dining room orders and it might be a 20 minute wait, so I should probably get out of the drive thru line and come inside to order. The cars in front of me nor behind me were told this. So I had to wait for two cars to get their food before I could even pull out of the drive thru, with no food. I will not be visiting again.
Time for a new manager!!! Why would you leave 3 servers to cover a dinner time rush. The poor servers kept apologizing while working franticly. The place is new and nice. Love the soup etc but the old place was better manned! What happened???? It’s like it was abandoned. 🤨☹️
Waited for 20-25 min to get my order. They asked me to wait in the parking lot . Somebody from the staff came and gave me my order. I asked her if everything was in the bag and she responded yes. When I opened the bag I noticed my order was not complete. Manager should do something because there’s always something wrong in that location.
Ive been to this new location 3 times and every time has been a negative experience. I dont normally leave negative reviews, but the staff there is very unfriendly and slow to complete orders. I really hope the managers talk to the employees and fix this problem, because I enjoy the food at Panera, but really dont want to deal with the rude staff at this location.
I didn’t get the sandwich ( this first sandwich was cold as hell thats why I realized it since it was in the bag) that I ordered even though I payed more for it. Went back to turn it and get mine they said that they would make me another one. The new sandwich was so small and even not the half of a normal sandwich. It’s not the first time that this happens. Very disappointed!
There were only 5 customers in the store when we were there and the entire process broke down and we spent 20 minutes waiting for our breakfast. The temperature in the room is either freezing cold or sauna-like, and it appears to change every five minutes. not a place to stay.
Terrible, came here for a cup of coffee and bagel, apparently their toaster is not functioning well, the lower piece of the bagel got missing twice in the toaster while one of the upper piece of a bagel was burned, the employee justification that the toaster do that sometime, you would think they will toaste another bagel ? No, they put two tops together and told me enjoy ur bagel, needless to say that was terrible, i am better off buying a bagel for half price from kroger, where i will actually get the full bagel instead of the remainings. Well not bother come here again.
The location and Southfield should be shut down orders are not right at all Im waiting on a refund now for 6 Iced Teas that was not given to my driver for delivery and the orders are not completely right at all will not be ordering from the Southfield location anymore now Livonia excellent
I came here to work remotely and this place claims to have wifi. I had an hour to spare to get food, get some work done and the “wifi” is garbage and guess what? Got nothing done. If you have work that needs to be done, save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else.

A piece of Baguette bread 🍞 to dip in soup 🍲 😋. We each had a sandwich 🥪 😋 2. ( turkey bravado)Tomato 🍅 bread 🍞, deli turkey, 😋 cheddar cheese 🧀, sliced tomatoes 🍅, lettuce 😋 n special sauce. 2022-02-01Im just grateful that this place remains open during staff shortages and.. of course the pandemic. The team members are always nice even when they seem overwhelmed. The manager is super cool. He is doing everything he can to keep the store tidy and stocked. I try to do my part to at least not leave any mess, toss trash, or clean the station with napkins. We should all do our part to keep this place cozy for everyone.

2022-04-16The drive up menu displays items along with a cookie priced at 99 cents. After placing my order I find out that it is only with a combo and I was actually charged $ 2.49 instead. When I mention it at the window. They inform me it is listed,just n fine print. That is very misleading!!Another thing I noticed is VERY OFTEN,I have to ask for my receipt.I believe it is because of something a Mgr asked me. Which was Did I ask for my receipt to submit it to some app, where you get paid?My reply was no. I just want to ensure I was not overcharged,like with that overpriced fine print cookie!

2022-03-18Actually youll love this place if your ideal lunch hour is to spend it with groups of teenagers who are complete slobs, obnoxious, and have no manners whatsoever. If thats not your cup of tea avoid this location. Panera is not what it used to be. What happened to all of the smiling faces at the counter, what happened to all of the awesome baked goods they used to offer, what happened to you, Panera? Ill go elsewhere. Im sure theres somewhere else to get a grilled cheese thats not made of Velveeta and a bowl of canned soup for under $13.

2022-04-08It used to be hit or miss at this location, which didnt deter me because I had a 50/50 chance but as of recently, this location is a total loss. From the sloppy way the food is slapped together to the lack of utensils or lack of correct utensils to match meal to a complete screw up of an order this location management and employees are completely lacking in efficiency and common sense. Hey, heres a spoon for your salad - not once, not twice, but three times.

2022-03-27I would not bother leaving a review for a missing item; however, I went through the trouble of calling for this missing ($11.00) item before moving to this. The person I spoke with said he had the item still there, that they could credit the meal back to me- it could take a few days, but would be back on my card. Having gone through Doordash before, I was familiar with this process. This, unfortunately, was through the Panera website. Not that I feel I was lied to, but clearly it wasnt important enough to follow through with, as nothing was ever credited back to me. Panera Is not cheap, and that missing item was one of my childrens meal. This happens too often to not say something. I can completely appreciate being understaffed and overworked. Which was why I initially just asked for the meal, no money back.

2022-07-01My review would be a 5 Star except for the internet quality. I come here specifically to have a meal and work while I eat, and I am unable to do that at this location. The internet is so slow, and often freezes entirely, no matter what device I am using. Please fix and I will be happy to come back and change my review!The food is good, although a little pricey for the portion size.

2020-10-18They are polite and the food is good. Sometimes the wait times are very long even when its slow inside and the order is simple. Other times the same order takes a fraction of the time.

2020-11-17I had the Chipotle chicken and bacon flat bread pizza. I was very happy with the fact that the flat bread still had a bit of softness along with a slight crunch. I thought the flavour is pretty good as well.
