Update: After 9 days of negotiation and calls, finally received my refund, But I tell you what, after the manager (Callee?) told me that someone would be out to pick up the food and that she would refund my money and it would take 5-7 days, she did NONE of this. NO ACTION at all. It took several calls to Askar Brands and the Regional Manager to get action. After reading other reviews in Yelp and other reviews, this particular manager certainly has an issue with customers by hanging up on them and treating them poorly. How shes still a a manager is beyond comprehension. She deserves a big Negative - Zero stars. But I am sad, it is not the easiest of work for the best of income, however it is their actions that bring upon their own success.....or their own failure.I have already contacted the Corporate Office in Commerce Township and they put me in touch with the Field Representative. Previous to that on when I talked to the rude manager, (who obviously for an unknown reason is still employed there despite numerous events with her history of hanging up on customers), I was told 8 days ago, and 2-3 days ago from the field rep that my refund would be in my account. To date, NO refund. I am beginning to believe NO ONE cares at this store or at Corporate. Why is this manager still employed when a history of total disrespect towards store customers? Why, when a customer has legitimate complaint, would she try and dismiss it by throwing the problem back at the customer? I ordered two simple pitas, both requested with mayo/extra mayo. #1-Received the order LATE. #2 -Both Pitas were dry, crispy, without any mayo, nor any mayo packets on the side. I called the store once, talked to a store employee and told him I would like for the driver to come back, pick up the non-consumed disgusting food and that I would like a refund. Not understanding I asked for the manager. #3 - She came to the phone, never introduced herself and I explained the situation over, again. I told her of my $100 order at the Commerce/Walled Lake store a week before or my family that was prepared well, followed all instructions and delivered promptly (even early. They couldnt get 2 pitas correct. Disgusted, she tersely stated she would have the driver come out and pick up the food then hung up on me. #4 - I called back asking about my refund and how that would happen, she put me on hold putting the phone down and I waited about 2 minutes as I heard her working and serving other customers - guess I wasnt important to her. She stated 5-7 days for the refund and I asked her for her name and finally got that as well. She tried to pin the blame on me stating I disrespected her. She hung up on me the second time. My god, are you kidding me? If you cant handle a complaint, and NO WAY did I disrespect her, just something to make her feel good about her lousy attitude, she should really look for a job that really requires leadership and see how that goes. Obviously throwing back the problem to the customer is not good for future business or recommendations. Again, no refund to this date, and I finally had to throw the gross food out as they never came to pick it up. Just miserable all around. Hats off to the Commerce/Walled Lake Store, maybe you could come over and manage that store as well? Please.
The square pizza is amazing! The slightly burnt, crispy cheese and crust sides are cooked to perfection. Prices here are very good compared to other pizza places and taste doesnt take a hit with the cheaper prices. The bread sticks arent very good though. They dont have a lot of flavor. But all in all, wonderful food for the value!
11/11/2020 Today is the 3rd time my online order did not go through according to the store. I called after 1 hour to check on my food and they said they didnt receive it but would get the information themselves. The store called me after another 30 mins to take my order over the phone since they couldnt retrieve the information themselves. I asked if there was a discount for waiting so long and the mistakes, the manger of the store said no because it was the computers fault and not theirs. When I asked the person taking my order the managers name she hung up on me. Turns out the managers name is Kaylee.When my order arrived it was incorrect, but the WONDERFUL delivery guy ran back to the store in record time to correct it.
It has been more than 10 years since their locations near me closed, So it was a real treat to have a Papa Romanos pizza when we were in Livonia. Their deep dish crust is to die for--crunchy and soft and chewy at the same time.We ordered and ate in the store. Staff for very pleasant and efficient, And it took only about 15 minutes for our pizza to appear.
This is the best place to get pizza in Livonia, hands down. It is a family owned shop and I love walking in and seeing the girls their. They are super polite and always ready to help. The prices are a little higher than other spots around, but the taste and quality makes up for it.They also just added mr.pita which i gave a try and it was phenomenal. Definitely my go to dinner at least once a week!
We arrived at this place for lunch. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The staff were extremely nice and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We loved this spot very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.
Two out of three employees were not wearing their mask when I walked in, and the third employee had the mask below their nose. So my food is being made while the employees are not properly masked in the middle of a pandemic? No thanks. The food was also cold and we picked it up before the estimated time.
Ive been living in Livonia for 6 years and never thought to call Papa Romanos. I was driving by one day and thought I would stop in for a slice of pizza, granted they did not have slices available when I went in..I still got a small pizza for myself and it was delicious.I have come here ever since for the last 5 months. They really know how to load them up with cheese and pepperoni! My go to pizza place.
Good food, quick service, theres a Mr. Pita as well which is nice. I must knock off a star though because they have a girl working there that can be very unnecessarily rude for no reason, and thats the norm so it isnt just a one-off having-a-bad-day thing. Dont expect any pleasantries or to be treated well, let alone as a human being, but the food is fine.
It may not be the best new York pizza place or the best Chicago deep dish place, but its definitely the best pizza in Livonia that you can get!If youre not familiar with your Italian names, you want PAPA ROMANOS... Not Papa Johns a few miles away. We made that mistake and after having their average pizza had to come back to papa Romanos at the intersection of 8 mile west of Farmington road.Best restaurant owner, friendly clientele, the kind of place you go in and strengthen your pizza relationship. Also they serve Bosco Sticks and, I love there Bosco Sticks they brings me to my younger years. Nothing beats papa Romanos for the experience!6 out of 5 stars.
We called to have our food delivered to our house. An HOUR later they still had not delivered the food. We called back and they had put it under pick-up. We had ordered delivery from them before and they called us back saying we had never delivered from them before so they didnt have our address which is a lie! It was just straight up stupidity on their part. The absolute worst service we have had from them!

2022-01-28I usually go to the Middlebelt location but this one was close to where I needed to be. Ive tried them before and wasnt happy but I thought Id give them a second chance. Sorry that I did. The pizza was great but the breadsticks were horrible. They forgot the pizza sauce and had hardly any cheese on them. They were basically just cooked dough.

2022-03-19I dont usual make bad reviews because I know businesses have issues just like anyone else BUT i called to let them know there was an issue with my wings she asked how they looked i told her like someone bit them (not saying they did, but that was the only way to describe it) the owner then got on the phone and said “Nobody ate your food” “we dont touch the food” and i told her i didnt say anyone ate off of them thats just how they look and that im a customer so she should be able to accommodate me , she started being rude and said someone can come back and get the food i told her no not to send anyone back to my house and as im writing this they are at my front door , so unprofessional and I order from here alot due to convince , never again. Poor customer service

2022-08-14Placed delivery order. Waited over an hour when confirmation email said 20 minutes. Finally called and I was told they “never received my order” I had the confirmation email plus my card was charged! After being asked to hold for 10 minutes I guess you can’t order food online unless you call them first? Then I was told “yup” and then hung up on when I was asked for a refund. I called back and asked if I could have confirmation of my cancellation and she said she had to call corporate or something? Just really bad service! It’s sucks because I just moved to livonia and loved papa romanos at my previous house.

2022-06-25I order a large catering order of $300+ of breadsticks and salad for a grad party. we were not given sauce for any of the 300+ breadsticks we ordered and had to then purchase from them again for sauce (nearly $15 more just in sauce for the 300+ breadsticks we ordered). i think that for a such a large order it would make sense that it came with sauce. its all about customer service and it just wasnt given.

2018-01-06HUGE difference in the staff, the quality and atmosphere. I have not been here in years, but decided to try them out again for a small get together I was hosting. They did not disappoint! I spoke with a younger woman who said she was the manager and she was very helpful. Look forward to coming back soon.

2021-11-15I normally order from the Middlebelt location, but decided to try this one due to a lower order minimum for delivery. Im so sad I made that choice! The other location is way better. The bambino bread here is just doughy and very plain, hardly any flavor at all. Compared to the other locations being topped in butter and parmesan cheese. The pizza wasnt cut all the way, barely at all. I dont usually like too much sauce on my pizza, but there is literally hardly any on it at all. It is undercooked and has an underlying odd taste to it that I cant quite explain but almost rubbery/sweet. I will stick with the other location Im familiar with who takes more time and care in preparing their food.

2021-12-21We hadnt had Papa Romanos before and didnt really know what to expect but we really enjoyed it. Great bread sticks and a good crust that is that good balance of soft inside and crispy outside.

2020-12-221st time customer...last time customer. (See Yelp review for more detail.)We were less than an impressed for a variety of reasons. Service was poor. Wait for 2 subs was way too long. Food was ok; not bad, but not great. Theyre a couple doors away from a Subway w/many other competitors to choose from nearby.

2020-10-22Thank you for the great catering service. Easy ordering process, delivery of food was on time and food was piping hot. Employees were very professional in taking my order and following up the day of to ensure everything was just right. I definitely recommend the buffet options. Perfect price point and more than enough food. Thank you again!

2021-12-23Its one thing for the staff to be rude but its a different matter entirely for the manager to be rude and have a nasty attitude. She needs to be replaced asap. Wont be coming here again. There are plenty of other places to go. Learn to treat your customers with respect. They actually keep you in business in case you forgot.
