PappaRoti in other cities:
Very clean and organized establishment. Food and coffee was delicious! We got vanilla latte, the classic coffee bun and the icloud coffee bun. They are delicious! Ive never had treat like this, I was not entirely sure what to expect. Im telling you to try this place! The bun has cripsy coffee crust on the outside. Its light and not dry on the inside. The inside is this perfect balance between an airy donut with some moisture from the butter. Wasnt heavy, everything is extremely fresh. I will be back! I recommend trying this place! I cant wait for the Deaborn location as its closer to home but I would drive out for this location still!I attached a picture of the icloud coffee bun. We got everything to go but looks like dining in has an even better presentation but if you ask me, to go is pretty still! I can tell they take pride in their work.
This was our first time here and it was the most beautiful time spent. We felt like we were welcomed as if we were family. The people here are amazing and veryyy friendly. I would recommend to anyone. If you want a light snack this is the place no lie. Will most definitely come back again.
I wondered how a bun could be as complex and good as they say? I was pleasantly surprised, it was delish. The American coffee was really good, too. The place is super cute if you want to sit a spell or meet some people up there. I got a carry-out but will definitely go back & eat in. This is a Malaysian chain & they’re literally all over the world.
Normally I really like PappaRoti for their customer service. This week I have been extremely disappointed. I got this Karak Tea today and although the tea is good, the cup and lid do not fit with each other and spilled hot tea all over my hands. They also have a sign up in the window that says 99 cent coffee on Monday and Tuesdays and when I asked about it on Monday when visiting they said it was no longer available, yet the sign is still up.
You get the best kadak chai and bun in this place. The bun is perfectly made, crisp on the outside and super soft from the inside with butter in the center! I have tried all the speciality buns here and all are awesome. But my favorite is just the regular bun. I literally take everyone who visits Michigan to this place. One of my favorites definitely.
This place is a novelty. I was surprised by their kadak Chai! It tastes so good! If you miss the road side tea in india, you must visit here just for a small cup of tea.The buns were amazing too! Super soft inside and crispy on the outside. They bake it after you place your order so you’ll get them fresh and hot every time. The guys here are very friendly. I recommend this place !
Fantastic buns and Karak tea! The attention to each guest and recommendations is outstanding. The staff recognized that I was a slow drinker and recommended that I have a paper cup even if I was staying in, because it stays hot longer. I requested a pot anyway...they were right. Wonderful attention and service. Next time Ill listen.
Good customer service - they recommended the plain bun with their signature tea. My boyfriend liked the tea, just thought it needed a little sugar. The plain bun was really good - soft, flaky, and buttery.I had the berry one with strawberry syrup, almonds, and white chocolate chips. I think the plain was a little better as the almond and strawberry syrup flavors overpowered the bun a bit, but I think both are great choices. The vanilla latte is also pretty good!
Went to PappaRotis in UAE and never thought Id get the chance again! This is one of my favorite dessert places ever because the buns are so warm and savory with a touch of sweetness. There is nothing like these anywhere else and I highly recommend anyone who has never tried it go and get one! Anyone living close to this is so lucky because they can get it more often! Staff/manager were amazing and friendly as well!
This place is like heaven. Everything in this place is delicious. I couldnt stop ordering and ordering over and over again. The buns are a delicious desert. The milkshake is delicious. They are made with fresh fruits. The whipped cream that you can have it on the buns is home made. If you will taste something from here you will become addicted for life. I love food and this place is one of my top favorites. The staff is very nice and friendly.I highly recommend!
I went yesterday with my friend (I suggested to go to papparoti) and our visit to this place was totally disappointed . First the staff so weird, rude, we didn’t feel comfortable at all.The most important part is the food not what I expected at all . The buns cold and without flavor. There’s no touch or sense of taste. We tried 4 things and didn’t like any.
Nice place. A little expensive. Buns and tea is a good combination. Tea taste took me back to India. We tried different varieties of bun.Base bun looks/tastes almost same. Its the decoration on top that makes it taste different. They have combos which might bring the bill a little down.
Today I visited Papparoti Farmington Hill michigan. I visit this place every month average. No issues were found. And I today I got cold tea instead of Karak hot tea and signature bun was also not hot. It seems like they just gave us whatever left over. We ordered 4 tea and 4 buns all are same. I was not expecting with papparoti . Today I went with my parents and husband and they came from India and I like to show them how’s tea here in michigan and we came home with disappointment.I just want to tell that please don’t change your value . I like to come again and I am expecting something hot.
The chai was not very good and the ginger milk tea was okay. I tried a bun called Kaya and it was almost burnt on the bottom and dried out. I wish I had taken a picture. I spent over $19.00 on those 3 items and asked for a cup of ice water after I sat down. I also tipped... I was told that they were out and I would have to buy bottled water. I will not be returning there.
Just one word Awesome. One of the best dining experience. Very welcome people and warm atmosphere. We were here for the very first time and ordered signature bun with karak tea combo and it was amazing....just try it if you are here for first time like me and then go for their creations. I would definitely recommend their signature bun combo and you wont regret it. Bun was so amazing, crispy from outside and full of flavors from inside..just loved it. Tea was one the best I had in North America even including Indian restaurants or yemen tea in Dearborn. Great work guys, keep It up and will be back soon.
Best coffee spot, service and staff in town. Had a chance to meet Victor(owner), just wow, what an amazing passionate person. He really knows his coffee and how to make a customer smile. This is an absolute must try spot especially for coffee lovers. Dont forget to add one of their delicious fresh buns with your order.
It was easy to find this place in Farmington. We went there with recommendation from a friend. This place is heaven for tea lovers. The Karak Tea is must have, it is Irani Chai with twist of masala Chai. The Bun at this place is super fluffy and very soft, it melts in your mouth and is a classic when combined with Karak Tea.I wish they would have served the tea hotter than what they served during our visit. The place feels small especially during the busy hours.
Absolutely amazing treat! The buns are one of the best things Ive ever eaten in my life and the Karak (chai) tea is probably the best you can get outside of India and both are a must-try. The Morning Tweet bun with Ashta and Honey and a karak tea is the best way you could start the day. If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend the Mona Lisa which is truly a work of art.The wonderful service coupled with food and tea you must taste to believe makes this place one of my favorite in the world. I would truly spend a fortune to have one of these in my home city. Thanks Yossef for the warm welcome!
I always enjoy trying new bakeries, but this place turned out to be such a hit! First of all, its Malaysian chain that has 450 stores worldwide. How lucky we are that the first US store was open here in Michigan! Second, Malaysian buns are just divine! I love their signature Karak tea with cardamon, and my daughter enjoys new flavor of buns every time we come here
Fabulous a place for its delight to customers with it’s Karak Chai and Soft core. freshness is one thing which is the most appealing. Having been waiting at DTW Airport for almost half of the day, this place came to my rescue ... so many desire to go back the place again and again I visit Detroit !
Awesome! First time trying a bread like this and it was amazing. Crusty hard shell but not crumbly and soft fresh baked bread texture on the inside. First time going there Id highly recommend getting the bun by itself with Karak tea. The folks are super nice and even share origin beging the roti buns. Smoothies are on point too and can check out their Instagram which the food taste as good as it looks
I never thought I would give this place anything less than 5 stars, but my experience today was extremely negative. I went on their website and went through the online ordering process. They had a deal listed for buy 6 buns, get 2 free which I ordered along with plenty of other items. I completed the order and paid. I received confirmation with notice to call when I arrive. I get there and called and they told me that they dont take online orders and that the promotion wasnt an option. I had to place my order again over the phone and wait an additional 35 minutes after driving all the way in the snow after a snowstorm. When I picked the order up the worker that is usually there didnt apologize or show any compassion for something that was their mistake. He made it seem like I should have known the online ordering doesnt work and that I was an inconvenience to him. The only reason for 2 stars is that the food is actually good.
Very popular place that a friend owns. This was our first time and we loved it! The buns are buttery and delicious. We got the Mona Lisa pictured here. It also comes with vanilla ice cream. The items made here are like a work of art that just happen to be delicious too. I will definitely be a regular and cant wait to try all the items. It was hard to choose what to get!
We’ve been interested trying this place for some time, however it’s always very busy. Only one person was working, Moe, however he took time explaining the history of store and bun creation. I can’t add anything further than what’s already said on the taste of these special buns, except they are delightful and unique for anyone interested in something different. It pairs nicely with Karak tea and served on real dishes. We’ll return soon again.
They started serving drinks in takeout cups when you dine-in from last month or so. Also they started serving poor quality plastic forks and knives. They used to serve with silverware up until last month. So it would be an excuse if they say it’s for “pandemic“. The knife breaks in the process of slicing the bun. There was no service before, and now the poor cups and knifes quality doesn’t motivate to visit this cafe.
If you are like me and enjoy trying new things, love meeting new people, learn and be around different cultures...YOU MUST GO TO Pappa Roti! They went to Malaysia to learn how to make the buns before they could bring this place to the U.S .Their Karak Tea...W O W especially if you like cardamom 🤯Victor is so excited and passionate about Pappa Roti. He wants to share all he has learned and the journey he went on for Pappa Roti.
Nice clean place to have good chai and bun, but only small group of people can fit. I am mostly chai person ,i would prefer to go to this place for having best chai and they have many bun options. I ordered monalisa and karak tea. The working people are friendly and helped me for my first visiting.
We love this place! Ive started taking business meetings here. The coffee is excellent and made with TLC. The rotis are just excellent and a little treat for me when I feel I deserve it. We discovered this place because the local Starbucks closed for renovations and were never going back.
I died and went to Pappa Roti heaven! It was packed when we got there and super busy. The roti bun was delicious as was the tea. Ive been craving these goodies since I last had them in Dubai years ago. Hubby and kids were fighting over the buns, couldnt get enough! So excited theyre here in the US! Need one closer to home. Cant wait for my next visit.
Great place to try something different. We decided to go here instead of our usual bagel and coffee shops, and we were not disappointed.Victor and Khaled were very welcoming and friendly, and Victor went out of his way to be sure we understood the background for this place, along with the menu. We tried the signature bun and Karak tea, and thats definitely the way to go to get the basic experience before trying variants. The tea was very tasty, similar to a Chai, and the bun was outstanding. Just the right amount of sweetness, with a crisp shell and warm soft inside. It was obviously very fresh and had a buttery flavor. My wife said, I cant stop eating this! The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with good relaxing music. We will return with friends and family.
Heard about this place through friends. We Ordered their Signature Combo (Bun and Karak Tea). Had to wait~15 minutes for freshly baked buns, but on having the first bite, I can assure, it was worth the wait.Victor, one of the chefs, was kind enough to explain us their process of making the fresh buns.Definitely a great place to enjoy bun+karak tea & hangout.Look forward to visiting again..Cheers,SL
I ate the buns of this brand seen long time ago when I was in Vietnam. After I moved to America, I was always love to enjoy it but there was no location around me have this cake. Until 2 month ago I seen one was opening up in Farmington, i was so happy. I tried yesterday, and it tasted like the one I enjoyed before. Love it. This cake always takes long time to make and it worth a penny you spend.
Way overpriced, way, way overrated. Staff are a complete joke. A biggest joke is the old syrian clown who thinks he’s an efn comedian. Very low class people. Avoid.Response to owners response: teach your 60 year old employee manners and respect before you ask your customers for them
I have been getting Karak tea from this location for almost since they started. Karak tea and bun is a great combination but the place is too small for dine in. Their signature buns are nicely presented. I could have given 5 stars if they had little extra space and don’t run out of buns once in a while.
Tried this little shop for the first time. Took my 1 year old so we could enjoy a special treat together! The owner seemed really nice, he took a moment to tell me about the buns and the drinks. Very open to answering questions about the menu. We got a bun with some fresh strawberries and whipped cream on top, I also got a chai tea. The bun was really yummy! Not too sweet and a good mix of “sweet and salty”! Chai was so well spiced and not overly sweet like so many chai teas around these days. Really yummy! I love how proud the owner is of his restaurant and I’m happy to have them here in our community!
Omg this place is a revelation. I have two words to say, MUST TRY. Their buns are what you need, baked to perfection, crispy and texturous on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. This is what bun dreams are made of. The monalisa bun is my fav combo with a side of banana, scoop of vanilla, topped with strawberries, drizzled with caramel and nutella to end with a dollop of whipped cream. It goes great together with their kadak chai. (Karak tea) again a best seller of theirs. This combo is perfect for Michigan chilly weathers. Instantly making you feel warm and elated. The staff is amicable too. We have always had great experience here at Papparoti. We like it so much, that we travel 1.5hrs one way, just to have a go at it. I wish athey open an outlet in north michigan, so its closer to home.
This place was amazing! The buns are to die for! Super sweet and fancy. I got the hibiscus tea along with the icloud bun and they were both delicious! Reasonably priced too. Both plus the tip were about 10 bucks. The gentleman who greeted us and took care of us was super nice as well! We will be back soon!
Made us wait for more than 10 minutes when the cafe was empty. The staff was wasting time and were quite arrogant when confronted about bad service. Have escalated to the upper management to discipline the staff. The employee at this location named ‘Mo’, which I believe he lied to me when I asked for his name, is the most arrogant and disrespectful employee I have ever dealt with. Avoid this place like it’s a plague.
I used to love this place for the past year. My friends and I were regular customers (3x+ per week) and karak chai and a bun would be my go to for long days after work. It seems the staff changed recently. The new staff has continued to burn the buns and ruin the taste. The buns are no longer sweet but instead dry, and I can’t taste the required layer of coffee they spread on top. The karak chai taste has also deteriorated. Bring back the old amazing Papparoti please!!
I saw this place and wanted to try it because the place Im staying is across the street. Well on my last day here I stopped in and the staff was so warm and welcoming. He gave me a taste test of the karak tea. I then order the combo of the tea and bun and waited for the bun to come fresh out the oven. I didnt know I was waiting for magic. Seriously if you get the chance to try this fresh out the oven do yourself a favor and get one. I spent the past 3 days eating all the different foods i could here and this bun was by far my favorite thing on my journey. It was light and crisp and the buttery goodness was unreal. I am dying for another one. Wish this was in NY near me because this was pure happiness.
No doubts about the quality of food served here. But customer service sucks. Their website has started taking online orders and when you go to pickup then you will know your order was never placed and online ordering is in test mode. Even their phone orders pickup is quite lame. At their given time of pickup buns are never ready and one has to wait same as ordering in store.
My kids and I loved their coffee buns just plain. They were so good. Nothing like we’ve ever had before. Very good coffee very good buns 😊 they were very fresh nice and warm. The butter was melted and it didn’t even need the extras. Was just the right amount of sweet and buttery and moisture was perfect. Loved it. Could have had at least 10 of them if not more. Good thing I only got a few. They were yum!!
We are group of 5 people, visiting Papparoti from past 6 months and never experienced bad customer experience as today. We went to place an order in person, we are in middle of placing an order, phone rang, and the person who is taking our order, asked us to hold on and made us to wait couple of minutes instead of asking the other person to wait, he made us to wait. Finally we placed an order, and we asked us to enter my phone number for reward points, and he literally hesitated to enter phone number, firstly he mentioned after billing he will be able to enter the phone number, he forgot to add the points after billing, and he straight away denied to enter the phone number saying that he forgot. After a while, we went near the counter, to collect our buns, and the buns are half raised, and we asked to replace it, but he started yelling at us, what’s wrong with it.Customer service is really pathetic. I never never experienced such kind of rudeness, this is the first time I experienced.I wanted to know his name, but he denied to tell his name and asked us to talk to owner.I wanted to reach out to owner, but I don’t see owner details anywhere in the store.Since, I don’t know his name, would like to mention date and time, and the owner will be able to track him. Sept 12, 2021, 11:45 AM.Please make sure, you have a good staff, otherwise, this will impact your business in a bad way
Yusuf is the best! Great chai and bread! Will have to come back for their coffee and other selections!Edit: after a good run, not sure what happened but this place fell off hard. Rewards system never works, orders are mistaken, things are never in stock, and the workers aren’t familiar with the menu half the time.
My friend hyped this place up, and whenever that happens, I’m always disappointed. However, words don’t do this place justice, this flavorful bun slapped👋 🔥. I unknowingly came before closing and felt bad but the lady that works there was super nice and made me a fresh batch of buns. Great staff, great dessert. Highly recommend, give her a raise!
Breadisfaction!! (Next level of satisfaction while eating bread)… I have never eaten such an awesome bread, nor have I had the Tea that comes with their simple ‘Pappa Roti Combo’..If you are in Detriot, MI and haven’t had the Pappa Roti you are missing a very beautiful part of this world 😀
First time here, and it was delicious! Got an original bun, and An Early Tweet Bun. The guy working was extremely nice. Asked if my boyfriend and I wanted a third one. Could not do any more! The bun is so soft on the inside, and a sweet exterior crust. Perfect pair with a hot beverage!
I found the place through a friend, and I could not be more happy with it. My family and I get their plain bun every time we go, it a one of the best desserts I have had. Another thing to add is that their costumer service is a incredible, they are so nice and patient.
Tried for the first time this afternoon and it was amazing! The bun (their specialty) is the perfect consistency, with a light semisweet coffee crust and a buttery center. Coffee ((I just tried the black coffee this time) was really good and strong too. The staff was very welcoming as well. Definitely planning to come back often!
PappaRoti is my favorite cafe place, I tried their tea and original bun an i fell in love with it. My coworkers and I always visit PappaRoti to chill and spend good time. Their staff is amazing and very friendly, and most of all the place is perfectly clean. I truly recommend this cafe for anyone who wants to try something new and special.
Today was my first time here. Ive had their flyer for a couple of months and didnt want to put it off any longer.I was not disappointed with my visit. I had the Signature combo, which consisted of Karak Tea and their amazing fresh bun.The tea was incredible but the star of the show was the warm and lightly-sweetened bun. The texture and taste were amazing.I sat in the shop with my laptop and took it all in. Great atmosphere and fantastic customer service. If you need a new goto spot, pick this place.
The workers were all lovely and friendly people! They did a good job at selling their Products to people, they let customers taste their specialty tea to make their decision. The dessert itself was very beautiful and delicious. If I lived hear I would definitely be a regular!!
Nothing less than 5 stars here. The staff is really friendly. The vibe is casual and the buns they make are really awesome. I discovered this place last week and have been here thrice already. The buns are really tasty and freshly baked.Their Kadak Chai is really amazing and I tried bun with honey and cream and bun with Toffer sauce, both were fantastic.Highly recommended for a local coffee shop experience.
I love this cafe/restaurant a lot. The people serving you are very polite and humble. Those buns are heavenly with the Karak Tea.I feel like visiting this place more frequently. So glad that these guys chose to open their restaurant in Michigan and more importantly in Farmington hills.😊
What a cute and cozy place that smells AMAZING right when you walk in. The guy at the front register was very personable and was able to give recommendations. For starters, he recommended to try a plain bun, but I opted for one with honey on top and a Mediterranean cream on the side. First bite was soo good. It was light, fluffy and the honey & cream combo balanced each other out. I also got the Karak Tea, which was chai tea but probably one of the best tasting I had. Not too sweet and the perfect temperature. You can tell it was made fresh. Their buns are also made in house and you can see them make it. It was so good, I placed and order to go. It came with instructions to heat it up in the oven for 4-5 minutes. I poured honey on top and shared with my family. My mom raved about it and cant stop talking about it. I definitely would come back & try the other buns with ice cream.
Khaled was very friendly. He described all the fresh ingredients that go into their World Famous Buns. We had the Signature Combo for our first visit. It included Bun and Karak tea. Both were excellent. We even had a smoothie. It was also excellent. We can’t wait until more locations are open! The food is light and leaves you feeling refreshed and full.Highly recommend!
My husband and I went here for the first time this afternoon and loved it! We told the staff that we were first-timers and they explained their buns and drinks to us. We went super classic with our order: their house tea (Karak tea) and a plain bun. The tea reminded me of the chai we had in India, and I hadnt had tea that good since I visited India! The bun was light as air with a slightly sweet crispy/shattery coating and a butter center. It was so good. Next time I think Ill try their other signature drink, Horlicks, which is a malted milk drink and Ill order the bun covered in Mediterranean cream and honey. I think well be regulars here!
If I had one word to describe this place, it would be unique. The customer service is extremely kind and tell you the correct waiting time ahead of time instead of beating around the bush. Buns are made to order and the chai (tea) is outstanding. Would definitely visit this establishment in the future, great job!! - place is a little bit on the smaller side, hard to find a table especially during busy hours.
We loved the place. This concept is a simple one: Strong tea : chai and buns. This is a powerful concept. I would not be surprised if StarBucks copies the product or buys this company.Very nice Karak Chai ( like Pakistani truck stop chai -- doodh patti). The tea was nicely served in cups and saucers. The buns were great. I have never tasted buns like these before. We did not like the Arab music at the store- - too loud and tasteless.
Well well well, hands down guys, I had always wished for a perfect cup of original cup of tea while I am outside of my home. And this place just offers that, what an amazing experience I had when I tasted that classic bun with the Karak Chai.I just got lost in the flavor of that bun plus the tea which was done with some nearly perfect ratios of mild spices and tea flavor just completed the experience with 5 stars. You just earned a loyal customer plus an returning customer forever 😎🥰I request all the amazing people out there to try Pappa Roti. Its just amazing ❤️
Me and my 5 friends loved this place. We tried their buns in all variations and combinations and each one of them was fantastic. Hot fav was the Mona Lisa! We also enjoyed caramel latte, karak tea and white chocolate latte. Service is great! I just wish the place was a bit bigger. But overall awesome. Would go back again.
Absolutely amazing and unique pastries. They are soft and fluffy, more than you would expect, and you won’t be able to find them anywhere else. Perfect balance of sweet and buttery, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. This is their first location in the US (more than 400 worldwide) and they are about to rapidly expand in the US, so Americans have a lot to look forward too!
Omg this place is amazing!!!! The bread that they have here is so incredibly tasty and it has a slight coffee flavor which adds to its epicness. The karak chai here was also so delicious and the service was amazing, although it took a little while to get our orders since it was packed in there. The guy behind the counter was super nice and explained things to us and also told us this is the first location in the US for the popular Malaysian chain. I would come back here far more often if I lived closer. I highly recommend this joint!!
Excellent buns!My family and I miss living in Japan where you could sit in a cute cafe, have great coffee, and and excellent delicatessen. This provided it all! I know this is not a Japanese cafe, however it has fantastic buns reminiscent of the crunchy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside, melon pan we used to enjoy (but of course this is coffee and butter flavored). The karak tea, the esspresso, and their smoothies are also excellent!
Ended up here thinking it was a different kind of restaurant but decided to try it because we were already there, how fortunate for us that we did. The specialty is a bun(Roti). I had a Nutella one. What a delectable little treat. The bun is crisp.on the outside and fluffy and buttery on the inside. Try it you will not be disappointed.
Loved the vibe! I basically love Chai and this place just nailed the Karak Chai. So flavorful and yum! Their signature Bun is really good too. We also ordered a Matcha Latte and I warn you guys please do not order it. Tasted like plain warm milk and absolutely no flavor and is my only reason for 3 stars.
Stopped in this morning to try the breakfast. The karak tea with saffron and cardamom was amazing (sweet!) and the capuccino was so delicious! We tried two breakfast buns: Ashta (Mediterranean cream)/honey and coconut jam/honey and both were scrumptious. The server was knowledgeable and friendly and the smell and atmosphere were great!
This coffee shop is amazing. Great customer service. The whole place was also very clean and inviting from the moment we walked up to the counter to order. They took time to explain everything and what their signature items are. All of the items we ordered also look just like what we expected and more. Definitely would drive the 30 minutes to visit this place again!
My daughter found PappaRoti on Yelp and we tried it today. It sounded very interesting to us and it turned out to be more than just a typical cafe experience for us. Kalid was our barrister and since there were only two other people in the cafe and he was finishing a carry-out, he was able to give us the history of the company and a full description of the bun, bun options, the coffees and the teas. He was great and really enhanced our experience... we got lucky, but it would be worthwhile even without the full tour we received. The bun really was unique, and more like a pastry. Its the only food choice, but many variations with the toppings, jam, drizzles, etc... and the coffee was great! We chose the Good Morning Kaya (young coconut jam and honey), the Early Tweet (ashta and honey), with an Americano (very strong) and Karak Tea (saffron and cardamom, also pretty strong to me). Its hard to believe it is the first U.S. store. I will definitely return and tell friends about this unique cafe in a relatively obscure location.
Being Indian I can identify the taste of perfect chai. As far as I know this is the best place for chai you will find in Michigan. Karak chai is the must.Only improvement I would suggest is, the hours of operation of the cafe. It opens after 11 am or 12 pm on weekends. People who love the chai they love to drink it in the morning specially on weekends. That’s a disappointment the cafe opens at noon when the time is for the lunch. At least on weekends it would be great if they open around 9 am.
Amazing Menu! And great friendly service! I just wish I didn’t have to go that far, they need to open more stores! Tips for the first timer, its a great place for a tea/chai/cappuccino etc, but do try with signature bun alone by itself, for a second time enjoy all the extras trust me you wont be disappointed!
This place is awesome! I would give 10 stars if I could! I came with my husband and friend and the guy at the counter explained the whole menu to us and was so informative and friendly! We all got the signature combo and loved it! Another guy came out to see how we liked everything and was also very friendly. My husband even went back for seconds! We will definitely be back!
Wonderful place to have a fresh bun , chai and hang. We were visiting from Atlanta and our friends took us to this cafe. It takes 10-15 min for them to make the fresh bun, but it’s well worth it. We have the regular bun, neutrals bun, and honey bun along with karak chai. Chai simply rocks . It was the best.
God’s buns! These are just the best. Eat them fresh, don’t drive them home. They always come out warm and perfect. I prefer original buns - and can never stop at just one.The Karak Chai is better than 99% of indian restaurants in america too.Come here for chai and chai snack daily :).Good for covid. People wearing masks. Don’t dine in folks...
For the quality of food you get, this place is quite expensive. This is definitely one of most hyped businesses in and around Farmington hills. Customer service wise they are rude now compared to the initial days. Definitely not worth the money. Lastly, expect to wait at least 20 mins to get your tea and buns.
One of the best coffee shop type places ive ever been to. Super friendly staff that made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal which ive never had getting tea before. Speaking of which both the tea and their specialty buns were amazing! Highly reccomend a Karan tea and the bosca bun if you come and visit!

2022-04-28Nice little place. I ordered the simple bun and a mango yogurt smoothie. The gentleman who was helping me said he had no yogurt so just made me a mango smoothie. The bun was light and soft. The bun had a aroma of sweet maple. The inside was light, airy and buttery.

2022-03-22This is the highest level you can take the BUNS to ⚡️No matter how old you’ve been eating buns or how old have been the place you’ve been eating them from…@papparotius has given Buns the next level respect & quality right in these present times, nothing is a fairy tale or the story of gone days 🙌🏼Baked freshly to achieve the perfect level of softness & texture. Neither entire Bun is soft nor the rock, it’s a gradient of crispier top to the mouth melting soft base.

2022-03-06This was my first time at papparoti and I absolutloved their bun. I had ordered the bun and karak chai combo and one small horlicks. The bun was freshly made and it tasted out of the world. The bun was really unique, the outer layer being almost biscuit like and the inner soft textured bun. You can tap the top if the bun and it crumbles. I have read amazing reviews on the tea but I felt the masalas in the tea was a bit overpowering. The horlicks tasted amazing. I would definitely be back to try their Nutella bun.

2021-12-12This is indeed the place where one can get the best tea in Michigan. I am so fond of this place and the staff. The Karak tea is my favorite. One should try the signature bun here. The bun is soft, flaky and buttery and its really tastes good with the chai or tea. Besides the normal bun, there are variety of buns that one can eat. I have been trying all of their buns. As of this moment Mona Lisa is the best bun .AndI have been here frequently and never had a bad experience.

2021-12-04The karak tea was my favourite. Not overly sweet and the signature crumble bun is so good with it.The oreo bun was great too but I loved the signature better. The place was clean, service was great and the barista is a very nice person who shared info about the origins of the food and the chain.Must try for all tea lovers!
