My sister Myrtle White moved into the community this year in April, she ask that I write a review based on her feelings and I agreed. So she is the author of the statement that follows.“This is my first experience living in an independent residence, I moved here, April 1 2021, and so far so good. I’ve met a few new friends, that I’ve enjoyed walking with and putting puzzles together with and just sitting g and talking with the residents in the beautiful common area. I even met the maintenance man Dave, who do a great job in attending to any issues in a speedy manner, keep up the great job Dave. I’m really happy here, so far no complaints at all”.Myrtle White

Parkside sits on a lovely well kept property on an otherwise residential street in Livonia. The buildings are well kept, exceptionally clean and I feel very safe here. The apartments with a balcony, which I have, make a special environment with beautiful vistas of sunset.

Lived here for almost 10 years. It has its positives and negatives. The shopping in the area is amazing, everything is nearby. The grounds are nice with a long path around both buildings. The apartment size, for a one bedroom was adequate. The parking more than sufficient. Oh, I must say there are loads of Parks nearby. The Fire Department is tremendously quick to be there for an emergency. Livonia is a very safe community.Oh, the bathroom is Huge, it has grab bars in the shower.I have been through 10 different managers, some good, some bad. Three different owners. Once they raised our rent $150.00 and half the people left.I have never lived in a home with more dust than this. Since there is no central air system I cant figure out where it comes from. My Buulding was built in the 80s, saw the initial drawings with the date.. My patio door had no seals left and every winter I had to seal the patio door. They made fun of me when I asked them to replace the door.I found the place home. Now I live in a larger apartment,with a washer and dryer, my own internal storage and a dishwasher. Double pane door and a wonderful carpet with great padding. My own private door, and not everyone knowing my business.I am lucky, I am still healthy, but I found people living at my new place who are not.So it has its positives and negatives like anything in life.

The grounds are well kept, Parkside of Livonia is handy to anything we need, within a very practical driving distance, and the staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous -- especially Jill Ross and Tonia Burhans.

Parkside is a beautiful community which offers a friendly, caring staff, great amenities, and a variety of activities for its residents. The new addition of ala carte services makes it the best option for independent seniors looking for a place they can live comfortably and happy for many years to come.

The apartment building, was not at full capacity, when i applied n April of 2018, i was trying to decide at the time, if the location was a good one for me , im a senior citizen, and the rates were somewhat reasonable, well i went back there n june 2018, and i was told the rent had increasd by $300.00 this is an outrage, the apartments r very small and the office Person Renee is very Nasty, i spoke with a resident ,who was sitting outside, and ,much to my suprise, they also had some negative comments regarding the management team there, i feel the new managers there increased the rent to keep the African Americans out. Do not go there, !!!

My mother has lived here for 6 years and loves it!! Meadows Of Livonia has so many activities for the residents. Mom has made so many friends and moving here has been a great change for her after my dads death.
