Great customer service! The owner is a upfront, honest guy. I enjoy going in and talking sports, wheeling and dealing, very upfront pricing, no run around.

Shannon and Robert are two very awesome guys! I ran into their shop 10 minutes before closing and did not feel like a burdern to them at all, not like I would in many other stores. In fact, I felt very welcomed. Robert is very goofy and such a sweet man. I was feeling troubled about what all I needed to buy to complete my fiancés Valentines day gift. Robert went out of his way to cheer me up and put a smile on my face. Shannon (the owner) was very kind to me, even though I knew nothing of what I really needed. My intentions was to go in and purchase a guitar with lesser value as a beginner and he did not want to sell it to me, not because he wanted to make a dollar off of me but because he wanted me to see what I was really getting with the cheap one. So, after walking me through the pros and cons I decided to purchase the guitar that was more expensive. The part that stood out to me more than anything is Shannon, a total stranger not only threw in the case, strings and a capo but also offered since I did not have cash on me but only a debit card, I could take everything home to give my fiancé as a gift. He put his trust in me, and his faith in Gods leading hand that I would return the very next day with the cash. Which I did and in return received a discount that made my pocket and heart very happy. Thank you Shannon and Robert! My fiancé is ecstatic about his guitar and because of you he was able to receive it on Valentines day. God bless you.
The only reason I put a star is only because I saw a tent that I liked. But the service was completely terrible and the owner was rude. I was walking to front counter to ask about the price of a tent I saw, and he completely snatched an item from a custom.
Very honest Individual treated me with respect will definitely do more Business with in the near future.
Great business really fair prices and respectful offers when your trying to sell something the owner is stellar and is always willing to have a conversation with you I see some negative comments on here and it makes me wonder have they gone to the same place that I went I highly recommend that you give this trading post a try (its not a pawn shop)

2022-04-30Pick up various tools needed for projects then trade back. Cheaper than renting tools. Also has specialized tools that other local stores do not. Shingle removers, drills, saws, extension cords. Service is fair and honest. Purchased new tools from there when needed. Owner is excellent. Great place to browse, never know what you may find.

2021-08-27Took my moms class ring to pawn a few years ago and was told I could get it back, I went to get it and was told they already melted the gold ring down! The owner was so rude and mean to me and my mom. I found out he didnt melt it down and begged him to buy it back and he said NO, its mine and I just dont feel like letting you get it back! Ive never been treated so bad. Their was no reason for his actions.

2020-01-30Large place with all sorts of interesting items, from electronics to hardware. Some with interesting stories that the owner is glad to share. Go if you need something at less then the sticker rate at the supermarket or if you have some time, strike a great conversation with the owner. Went twice and had a great time both times . Owner is a gentleman with a smile and a story to tell!!

2020-02-05The shop has a lot of cool items and low pricing. Picked up a newly owned PS4 game for $3. The owner was very friendly and personable which led me to come back again and again to shop at Parritt’s Trading Post. I also came back to purchase a brand new sealed Roomba robot vacuum for $50 cheaper than in department stores. I made it a Christmas gift, and they love and use it everyday.

2020-11-05I went into Parritts Trading Post for the first time today. I had a few items to sell and was able to ask a few questions on some other items as well. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. The transaction went smoothly and I will return in the future for any trading needs I may come across!
