Comment: I had a terrible experience with the bank groups financial lease equipment. I strongly advise against conducting any business with them and feel its important to share my story with others who may be considering their services.Our company had a 36-month equipment lease with them, with an agreement for a $1 buyout at the end. However, after we made the final payments, they automatically renewed the contract without our consent and withdrew the monthly payment from our bank account.We have reached out multiple times to Partner Capital Groups customer service department, billing department, and the Vice President of Sales to request a refund of the unauthorized charge and to process the $1 buyout to close the agreement. However, they have consistently denied our requests, claiming that we should have notified them if we wanted to exercise our option to purchase the equipment for the $1 buyout. This is not only frustrating but also goes against the original agreement.Since this is our first and last financial transaction with Partner Capital Group, its important to warn others about their practices. If you already have a lease with them, I urge you to ensure that they do not retain your bank information to prevent future unauthorized charges.

Comment: These people will lie and tell you what you want to hear just so you will sign a contract with them. I made a deal with them to get a loan for a trailer that I was planning on purchasing. The person that I was dealing with William Hyde told me that it would be a loan for 30k. I put 42k as a down payment. I was sent the contract and signed it without reading it. Well come to find out the contract I signed was for a lease. So the 30k I thought I borrowed has now turned into 60k I have to pay back and I dont even get to keep the trailer when its paid off. I have to pay them the fair market value (72k) for the trailer on top of the 102k I already payed them for it.

Comment: I spent days negotiating the finance of a new machine. We went back a forth over down payments and interest rates. Once we agreed on length of terms and interest rate, I was sent a completely different contract via Docusign. Starting from day one i had two different companies drawing a combined amount that was more than double my agreed upon note. I got billed for Interim Rent that did not apply to my terms, and after reviewing these terms I realized that Ive been a victim of a bait and switch. My dollar buy-out was switch to Fair Market buy out. Im at the very beginning of dealing with them on this issue, but based on other reviews and complaints filed with the BBB, there is clearly a pattern of deception employed by these people.

Comment: If you are looking to finance anything through them THINK TWICE!!!! Their operating model is to issue Equipment Finance Agreement or Contract of Payment but not the actual conventional loan with Simple Interest. Anything they tell you verbally can not be trusted. They do not list an actual interest rate anywhere in their Equipment Finance Agreement just your monthly payment and the term. 60 months for example. In the fine print in the 14 page document they disclose that this is not a simple interest loan and that you can calculate the interest rate yourself based on the payment amount and the term. I guess by saying that they make it all legal but in my opinion its shady as hell.I was going to finance two semitrucks trucks through them as they were suggested by the seller. They offered me a 7% interest rate (verbally) on 200K loan. Then they sent the paperwork I browsed through it and signed it. Luckily I came to my senses before we were getting closer to funding and looked at it again and actually calculated the interest rate. It was %11.85 interest rate that I was going to pay. So Clearly they lied to my face. Also they assured me they dont have a prepayment penalty for paying off the loan early. Again in the small print it indicates you will have to pay all the interest for the full 60 month term. That is exactly what a prepayment penalty is. They do business with Stearns Bank N.A. is is also involved in shady lending like this. I called them as well and they would not confirm the interest rate for me either.

I got no payments for my first 6 months and payment was well within my budget at a good rate. I will be using Partners Capital for our future equipment loan needs. Thank you!

Comment: This is the most criminal company to deal with when you ask for financial services. I am a physician and needed finance for a C arm or fluoroscopy equipment. They said the APR was going to be 4% and when they sent the documents to sign I trusted everything we had spoken verbally and in the document they simply put the interest rate can be easily calculated from the monthly payment and never put a value there. I trusted blindly the agreement and signed in my best good faith. After I started the payments my accountant reviewed the rate and payments and made me aware that I had been the victim of a hoax. The price of the equipment was around $74K and the real hoaxed APR was 6.89%. The equipment was purchased in September and since then we paid close to $1,500 a month and after we realized the HOAX we contacted the company and what an ordeal to get an answer. They basically admitted that Sir, you signed the papers. Yes, they played with my good faith. I spoke to my bank and my bank agreed to refinance for an APR of 3.99%. Upon request of the payoff they sent a cipher of $82K, that is $8,000 of accrued interest?? in less than 6 months!!!. How criminals they are. Usurious, nothing less than that. I will work with my attorney to report them to the BBB and also to get the FDIC and other entities to close their usurious business. Never, but never do business with these blue collar or white collar thieves. If you look up the reviews, most of all the good ones are from the same employees who eat the same venom and there are ones like mine who were assaulted in their good faith and hoaxed.

Comment: NOPE... I WAS MORE THAN MISTAKEN. COMPANY RUN BY SOMEONE SO EVIL IT MAKES MY SKIN CRAWL......is really a fun place to work. There is a positive energy and vibe I noticed from the moment I walked in to my interview 2 1/2 years ago. Its fun during the busy times because everyone is hustling and bustling getting things done. I have the opportunity to interact with all departments and I enjoy interacting with everyone.This has helped me learn a lot and everyone is great to work with! Comment: Updated review:I originally posted a negative review of Partners Capital Group highlighting several issues and questions I had regarding my lease with them (and with their associated company Financial Pacific Leasing to whom my account has been transferred).I had been contacting the company for several months and not getting answers. Finally I posted a review online highlighting my concerns and speaking out against their business practices. Instead of reaching out to me to solve my issues, someone in the company launched a mini-smear campaign against my business. The company itself reviewed my business on Google saying that I had not honored my agreement with them. Within minutes, 2 more reviews were posted on my business page saying similar things (the reviews appear to either be from fake accounts or from employees - none of the reviewers have had interaction with me or my company). Two days later an additional review was posted specifically mentioning Partners Capital. I updated my review to include that information and told the company to reach out to me directly to address my complaints. Two days later they did reach out to me saying that they would remove all the negative reviews if I would take my review down(the CEO asked a VP to call me and get my review removed). When I said I would consider revising it or taking it down after they removed the review and addressed my above concerns, they refused until I gave them my written commitment. Since I would not commit to removing my review at that point, the CEO (Marcus) refused to give the refunds (they had already committed to do this and the refunds are relatively small amounts) and refused to remove the fake reviews.This company appears to lack transparency and ethical standards. Better communication and more transparency would have greatly improved my experience with this company. Unless they make some serious changes, I cannot ethically recommend this company as a whole.

After deceptive tactics in getting a lease agreement executed, these people fraudulent debited money not owed from our commercial checking account which was not authorized. In addition, the terms and conditions of our agreement are not honored. You will be frustrated to no end if you engage these people in any business dealings. Beware, there are much better sources for funding small business capital equipment. Running a small business can be challenging and you will be at a significant disadvantage having this company on your vendor roster. They are also cited by the California Finance Lenders Law (CFLL), Google it.
