I unfortunately was involved in a 5 car pile up on the 215 freeway. Comment: I was involved in a motor vehicle accident back in May of 2022 where I was driving through a four way stop intersection in downtown Huntington Beach when a repair truck ran a stop sign and T-boned me on the driver’s side of my vehicle. I woke up a few minutes later in my vehicle after having lost consciousness from hitting my head on the inside of my car with no air bag deployment. Bystanders assisted me out of my car and helped me to the curb. I was taken to the ER where I was diagnosed with a TBI and multiple bulging discs; little did I know that this would be the beginning of a long journey of time taken off of work, medical bills, doctor’s appointments, physical therapy, chronic pain, and endless calls with insurance.I was referred to Blaise by a mutual friend who had heard about my accident and I assured me that I was in good hands. There is not much precedent for bike-on-bike accidents, especially when there is an e-bike involved, so I wanted to find someone to represent me who would not be afraid to wade into somewhat unchartered territory. On top of there not being much precedent, the defendant was a minor and e-bike insurance coverage is not black and white. On August 2022, I was driving north bound on Mariposa rd, someone came out of a parking lot and T-bone me on the driver side, the hit was so hard that it pushed me onto the sidewalk and I took out a newspaper stand and a fire hydrant, I ended up stopping about a foot from a cement light pole.
