Nate and Tom came to my house and installed a sonos system and mounted my new 55 inch tv Nate did an amazing job with the tv! The spacing with the soundbar is amazing I can take a credit card and slide it right between both. also they were very helpful with explaining the system and any questions that we had 10 out of 10
Paulson’s Audio & Video has been my “go to” store for home theater for years. Recently, they replaced the heart of my system, among other updates. Their installers did a great job! It took several hours, since they removed older equipment, replaced my old equipment rack, and programmed a new universal remote controller.Conner, Jimmy, Matt, and Adam were polite and fun to schmooze with while they worked throughout my installing the new equipment.I also want to give Kudos to Bill Davison, the salesperson I worked with to draw up the plans for this project. Even though it took a long time, and I called him sometimes several times a day asking questions and asking him to make revisions, he was alway patient with me. Plus, I am immensely pleased with the completed work.

The wife said she wants a TV, so I started researching options. YouTube and Google will only get you so far, so decided to stop into Paulson’s to browse. Dan was extremely helpful in explaining the differences in technologies, in layman’s term. The prices are cheaper than Best Buy and Amazon and you get expertise in the industry. These guys seem like they love doing what they do and won’t steer you in the wrong direction. Honestly, I won’t go anywhere else. They made a returning customer out of me.
Very happy with the overall service and product selection. Worked with Chris S. He was super helpful and informative in explaining the various options for TVs/receivers/speakers. He worked with us and within our budget to deliver exactly what we were looking / needed for our new home to deliver high quality picture and sound. He was super helpful and answered all our questions. We ended up purchasing a TV, receiver, speaker bar, subwoofers, Sonos port…and a TV stand. Setup/instal was a breeze as well. Chris made sure we understood how the components worked together and various features.Worth every penny!

This place is awesome, has everything you need for audio, visual, and house hold toys. Customer service is top notch as Ive never had a company help me out and install with such detail. Had the whole house rewired for speakers, new receiver setup and outdoor speakers put in. They even came out first to the house to demo the speakers to make sure we liked the sound. Im definitely using them for future projects. Dan and his crew did an amazing job.

Exquisite service!! We had them come out and install a new wall mount tv, dvd & sound bar. The two employees who came out were very professional, conscientious & patient. All boxes and trash were taken with them. We/they had a problem with the sound bar and they ended up on the phone with the manufacturer for almost 40 minutes to resolve the issue and did not leave until everything was working to our satisfaction. The (new) wall mount was perfectly level (I think they checked it four times) and the wires zip-tied together so there is nothing showing on the side as you walk by. Unfortunately there was a minor issue with the tv set up we realized the next day. A new tech was out same day within hours not only fixing the problem but learning new quirks about the way Sony does things now. The prices of the equipment were lower than anywhere else we found and the installation charge is worth every single penny.
Okay where to start. I went to Paulsons because of hearing about them from Mike Valenti on the Ticket who highly recommended them. Wow is he right. This place is absolutely fantastic. First the sales team... (my guy was Chris) amazing...so knowledgeable and helpful seriously the best experience weve ever had. It didnt stop there though... Waiting for our install date to be moved up Paulsons continued to communicate with us regularly and moved up our date because of a cancelation. The install couldnt have gone smoother. Conner and Kelsey were fantastic. They moved furniture got us all signed back into our apps and put everything back in place. I cant imagine ever going anywhere else. Paulsons is best.
We wanted to mount a 65 TV above the natural brick fireplace in our 70s colonial but we were hesitant to have just anyone do it due to the complexity. I was referred to Paulsons. Bill in Paulsons sales department was very friendly and helped to advise us as to the best, most secure TV mount for the installation and location of the tv and got us taken care of quickly. Connor and Kelsey came out to do the installation work for us. They were extremely polite, professional and personable. The work was done quickly but carefully, with an extremely high level of attention to detail. Being a detail oriented person myself I truly appreciated that. I highly recommend Paulsons for your AV needs. In particular the team that did our TV install. Worth every penny!

Paulsons was recommended to me by someone that had a TV mounted on their brick fireplace and since that was exactly what I needed done I called them. Matt and Scott came to my home to determine the scope of the job. They were prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. A date was set up for installation with the understanding that if a time spot became available quicker, Scott would contact me. I went into the store to select a TV with Matts help, the prices are very competitive. A quicker date and time did become available and so installation was moved forward. Connor and Jimmy showed up on time and got right to work. They removed the existing TV and the wall mount it was attached to. They did so carefully without damage to the equipment or the wall. I had not expected this to be included so I was delighted. Connor and Jimmy completed the installation quickly but carefully. They set up the remote which turned out to be no small task since Spectrum streaming is no longer a supported app. Conner and Jimmy worked out how to use an existing Roku device so I did not need to switch local TV streaming providers or purchase any additional equipment. They came prepared for anything but used only what was needed and did not charge for anything that was not used. I have no knowlege base for electronics, devices, etc. but I now have a little more understanding and I can give Paulsons an unreserved recommendation.
I stopped into Paulsons looking for some AV equipment when none of the local stores had anything of value. After speaking with Shaun (sorry sp!), we settled on a unit and I was out the door with the exact equipment I had hoped to find. The store was nicely laid out and the staff very knowledgeable about the products they were selling. I was incredibly happy about the sale, love the device and look forward to my next purchase from Paulsons!
Parker ‘is’ good customer service’! I worked in customer service for 30 years..I soooo appreciated Parker’s ability to genuinely communicate with me…it’s rare in the younger generation. His patient & respectful responses to my questions & his knowledge was everything refreshing. Can we put Parker in the copy machine & make a couple of thousand of him!
Ive been in need of a couple TVs in the past few months as well as some wiring and mounting advice. Shawn @ Paulsons has been great at walking me through all my options. I strongly advise you look at Paulsons before your next A/V purchase - it helps to walk into a store that focuses only on these products and get strong product knowledge from the team like I got from Shawn!
From the time we walked into the store until the installers (Connor and Kevin) left our house it was a pleasant and educational experience. We talked with multiple sales people as we visited the store more than once and each one of them took their time and thoroughly explained every aspect of our purchase. Kevin and Connor arrived on time, took great care with protecting our floor, efficiently installed the TV and components, worked through an issue we had with our router and explained in terms we could understand how to work the TV and the controller. This is the second TV weve purchased from Paulsons and will continue to use them as our preferred supplier.
From sales through installation, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and respectful people. So much so that I called the owner Chris to compliment Parker, Conner, and ShaunIn a world where one expects not much to work, Paulson’s is a prime example that corporate culture can still achieve excellence.
In 2011, Paulsons did all of the audio/video work on our finished basement project. I appreciated their work on that project so much that Ive never considered using another audio/video company for anything, whether it be design, installation, or simply buying components. They are highly technical, care about what matters to you, and always willing to meet or beat their competitors prices (including big box stores). Since 2016, Ive worked primarily with Barry Chamberlin and Matt Flesch (on design and component purchases) and with Jeff Flesch (on installation). They are all, in short, terrific!
We have dealt with Paulsons for a few years and they are really experts at what they do. Today we had a 75 4K TV delivered and installed by Adam and Conner, they also had to move 2 TVs to different locations and set them both up. They did a great job and their service is the reason I will always try to buy from them as well as supporting a local business. Their pricing was actually right in line with online pricing and personally I would never buy a large format TV online, I want local service and support in case there are any issues. I am very happy with the results they delivered today and would recommend anyone interested in audio of video products to give them a try, they are very knowledgeable experts and a pleasure to work with.
Paulsons has an amazing selection which will bring you in the door, but its their service that keeps you coming back. I have purchased several TVs from them and had them installed. Their service technicians are smart and professional. Conor and Liam were our most recent installers and they went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy. They even helped me to re-arrange the furniture once the TV was installed. I will exclusively purchase home entertainment products from them without shopping around. So thankful for Paulsons.
The entire A-V experience with Paulsons has been outstanding! The task was to install a new OLED TV and speaker bar, but also rework the audio system to make everything wireless throughout our house. Starting with Sales and Planning, Bill Davidson was excellent in laying out our options, explaining the equipment, and providing pros/cons with definitely no overbearing sales pitch.The installation team of Conner and Jim were absolutely great as well. They came on time, were polite, professionally attired, taking all safety precautions, and were very caring of our belongings. They placed mats on the carpets and did an excellent job of clean-up. Technically they could not have been better! They knew their stuff, overcame some problems with our older equipment, and were diligent in making everything link seamlessly. They demonstrated their expertise not only with equipment installation, but optimizing the overall audio system for our home. Finally, we appreciated the extra time they spent thoroughly explaining everything to us and making sure we understood how everything worked.Overall, working with the team at Paulson was an extremely positive experience, and we would certainly use them in the future and highly recommend Paulson for any audio-video work.
If there were 10 stars they would get them. Paulsons was the BEST people to work with. They fit all components and Tthe TV into a budget and used only the materials needed. Shaun was amazing and so efficient in sales and worked around a challenging install for our built-in cabinet.He followed up with phone calls and emails many times to answer all my questions.Rabie and Adam arrived on time and where super professional,clean and so considerate with COVID precautions.They took their tempertures and used Clorex wipes on everything when the install was complete. Nicest guys ever!Everything worked out so smoothly and they gave me directions in a simple easy lesson to operate the equipment.GREAT COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH! We purchased a full stereo system from Paulson’s 7 years ago and never hesitate to call for assistance when needed. We also purchased our new tv from them a couple years ago. We had a cable box issue last week and had to install a new cable box today. Our universal remote purchased from Paulson’s was not working properly with the new box. I called Paulson’s and spoke to Chris Paulson to see if he could help me resolve the issue. Chris was very patient and worked with me until the issue was resolved. He even went as far as going online to check out forums to resolve issues with a new cable box. I can’t say enough about how happy I have been with Paulson’s all these years. Paulson’s never disappoints!! You will not regret doing business with them.
This is an update to my previously posted review. Ihave been Paulsons customer for the last 6+ years. They have been good all this time. I have referred them to my neighbors too.I had a minor issue of my dish network remote not working with Control4 and upgrade the software on Contril4 to a later version. Small job that took more time than expected. We did have a disagreement but was later resolved by the owners. I appreciate the follow up to resolve the issue. I have had the pleasure of working with Barry from Paulson‘s who is absolutely great. He response and takes care of most of the things.
I have been Shopping at Paulson Audio Video for long time, have bought many Home theater related items from store. Staff is very knowledgeable, prices are good better that other big stores, service is excellent. They will help you make right decision which will help in long run make you buy right equipment, it saves money. highly recommended store to shop for all audio video needs.
Adam and Rabie did a great job hooking up our entertainment system and wiring the whole house for sound. They were able to pivot and replace the TV and do a bunch of out of scope work that it turned out we needed to do. and get it done quickly. Shawn at the office is awesome. So knowledgeable, and patient with our questions and no high pressure sales pitches. Just the type of excellent service you expect from Paulson’s.
Jimmy anf Alec were wonderful setting up our new TV Not only did they did it fairly quickly, they went over everything they could about the new TV and asked us if we had any questions at all. I would definetly recommend them and Paulsons to others. Now we can enjoy our new Sony Tv.
I have been dealing with Paulsons for almost 20 years. They have done tv/surround sound systems for me in two different houses and have shown exceptional care and expertise. I have also found them to be exceptionally competitive on regular TVs and gear - usually cheaper than box stores. Im considering a home automation system and there is only one place that I would consider and they have been great in describing options crafting solutions. Wonderful business!

From the sales person, Chris to the delivery, installation - including apps, etc - and a lesson on how to use the new products was a pleasant experience. The delivery and installation technicians, Rabie, Cam and Adam were on time, actually a tad early, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. The supervisor, Adam, was very helpful in teaching me how to use the new TV and CD ripper etc. He did this is such a way that the explanation was clear, concise and easy to understand by an old Luddite. I would definitely recommend Paulsons to friends.
Ive always thought of Paulsons as my go to referral for anything audio or video for the home. So when we purchased our new home, I knew who I wanted to do the job for us. Mat and Matt came to our home and walked through what we wanted done. Then we scheduled a demo in their showroom to confirm what we wanted. It was very clear that we were in good hands. Our work was scheduled and when an earlier slot opened up they called and set it up. During the first day, it became clear we needed a different TV for upstairs. It was ordered, delivered and set up the next day with the remainder of our order. The techs; Conner, Jimmy and Jared, were knowledgeable and thorough and did a great job. I cant thank Paulsons enough for helping turn our home into the theatre experience we wanted!

Always a great experience with Paulson’s. Connor and Jared were prepared for the installation and it required some reprogramming and resetting of equipment but all is good. Over the past 12 years I have purchased my AV equipment through Paulsons and couldnt be more pleased. Obviously its not going to be as inexpensive as Costco or Sams Club, but where you save the money and time is with the installation of the equipment you purchase. My latest purchase was a 55 Sony OLED television. Conner and Kevin installed the equipment quickly and efficiently. After a few days, I decided that I would rather have a 65 television instead, and Conner and Jared came back out and swapped televisions. All three men were friendly, respectful and careful. Conner did an amazing job synchronizing my receiver, cable box, and DVD into my universal remote. What would have taken me days to figure out, he did in about 10 minutes. Why go anywhere else with this kind of service!
Connor and Jimmy were great! They were here on time. Were very prepared, wearing mask.. shoe covers and pads to lay their tools on to keep our carpets clean. Connor and Robbie just finished my projector install and calibration. They also installed in-ceiling speakers. They arrived on time and got the job done with professionalism and dispatch. They offered timely suggestions for system controls and set-up but were not pushy. They removed their shoes and put a covering down for their tools and ladder. Very neat! I have dealt with Paulsons several times over the last 15 years and they have always met and exceeded my lofty expectations. I highly recommend them for products and installations.

We have been working with Paulsons for 3-4 years. They came in and reworked a mess of challenges our former AV guy did. The put in Control 4 and automated much of our house. It started a little rocky with miscommunication on the bills, but once the guy i was dealing with left the company they have been very good! It is clear in retrospect the issue was that employee versus the company!They are super responsive when i call with an issue or question. They follow up, communicate well and have always gotten the problem fixed. We are very happy with them and plan to buy even more from them in 2020. Very happy with them!
Great experience purchasing from Paulson’s Audio & Video. Price was much better than the big box stores & on-line dealers, including Amazon. I had a defect with my new Sony TV & they worked with Sony to get it replaced with a new one. Customer service was second to none throughout the whole process. I will be going back for future video & audio upgrades.

Paulsons took over our home which had a control 4 system. They have made what could have been a complicated and frustrating situation to an enjoyable one. They have gone out of their way to get me parts replaced under warranty (after reaching out to the original manufacturers), and have done all their business and service with great integrity. I highly recommend Paulsons for any work, residential or commercial. These guys know their technology and how to work with customers.
Excellent Experience. I called Paulsons not knowing exactly what to expect. Parker and Steve came out to the house, listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. Some suggestions even were to reuse existing equipment to help cut costs. When I came into the store to get the estimate, I was prepared for a high-pressure sales pitch. It was anything but high pressure. We negotiated a fair deal. Kevin and Jason showed up exactly on time for the install and did an EXCELLENT job. Professionally done and very helpful. My father is looking for a new TV and sound system and I recommended that we check out Paulsons. The sales floor is amazing with a huge selection of TVs of different quality and pricing. I purchased my last 65 TV here and loved the experience. The prices are the best deals Ive ever seen, skip Costco and come here!We were greeted right away at the door by Shawn who was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything clear, showed us around the sales floor at all the cool gadgets, and he was zero pressure on making a sale today. He spent an hour with us even though my dad was clear that he was just shopping for ideas.Shawn showed us the sound rooms and they are amazing with McIntosh equipment that is jaw dropping... Paulsons was a pleasure to deal with. I bought a tv at Best Buy that had not been delivered yet and was comparison shopping. My salesman Chris Schneider gave me a different recommendation that made a lot more sense to me. The price was better than Best Buy.I cancelled the Best Buy order and my tv was delivered yesterday. Connor and Jason were excellent installers and set up and explained everything for me. Chris sold me a wall mount that did more tricks than I realized(swivelling) and I was very happy with the full setup. I used their electrician who also did a great job. I have been going to high end stereo stores since the 1960s and Paulson may be the only one left.
First things first. Our first scheduled appointment the gentleman did not show up. I had to call and ask what was going on, and it apparently didn’t save on his calendar. We rescheduled for the following Monday. After coming to the second scheduled appointment we realized we needed to invest more into our home theater since we had a very very old Bose surround sound system already installed but a new tv that didn’t have the right hook ups. We were willing to find out quotes for multiples options. Once the gentleman left, he said to give him a week for the quotes. It’s been two and a half weeks so far and we have not received any quotes. Apparently our business is not needed and they are doing just fine without it.I am so disappointed in this service. I went with Paulsons due to the great reviews that they did have, but unfortunately for us we did not get the same respect that other customers did.I would not recommend Paulson’s Audio and Visual to any of my friends or family and I’ll make sure to do so so they don’t get any business from people we do know.
Shawn at the office is an awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. The installers Connor & Jimmy came in, handled everything with care, were very thorough and detailed in their installation. They explained how everything worked and cleaned up when the job was done. Been dealing with Paulson’s for over 20 years. Outstanding products and services. Just had some reprogramming done and had an issue last night and sent an email for assistance. Received an immediate response from Dan with guidance to resolve the issue and soon after from Matt. Issue resolved virtually and after hours which was not expected. Great service again.
In the past 2 years, my family has purchased B&W speakers, a 65-in OLED TV, a 16-in SVS subwoofer, a 3-channel Anthem power amplifier, plus various accessories from Paulsons. Excellent guidance both at and after the sale have been enjoyed from Parker, Strat, Dan, Matt, and all the others at the store. We prefer to drive 40 miles to Paulsons rather than patronize the electronics stores in our Ann Arbor area (within 10 miles). We are dedicated Paulsons customers.
Paulsons always gets it right. Have used them a few times and there is never a concern about whether or not theyll handle the job properly. Recent experience was very much on par - excellent! If your thinking about installing a Projector with a screen, these guys have the know how and examples right in their studio. They spent hours helping me define the system, and was always there to help with any info. They beat Best Buy prices by a mile, and Best Buy home consult was no where near as good, which is why I went with Paulsons. Install went really quick and looked perfect. Dont waste your time buying from a chain retailer, when you can get expert advice and install for way less than the others charge.
I had Conner as a service tech and I couldnt have been happier with his work. Not only was he quick and knowledgeable, he spent an hour on the phone with the cable provider trying to work through issues. When it was determined the issue required service from the cable tech Conner worked with his superiors to make sure he was the Paulsons tech to return and finish our install and worked with the cable tech to complete the install. The young man cared about his work and the customer, not something you see much of anymore.
Conner and Clayton are fantastic. They are true professionals and made my day! The new TV and sound bar are terrific, although the audio from the sound bar went out of sync with the TV . I was able to correct it but occasionally still doesnt look right. My salesman Shawn was also fantastic and followed through on everything! Paulsons is the best! Thank you!

I was looking for an Ultra High Def Projector for my home theater. Paulsons staff showed me an interesting array of product, and were knowledgeable and helpful to a greater extent than any other dealer I have visited.. Connor and Adam arrived at our home ahead of schedule to install a new TV. They encountered a couple of issues during the process due to the age of our original equipment. Both Connor and Adam went above and beyond trying to troubleshoot the problems. In the end, they got everything up and running. We were their last call, but they stayed with us until we understood the system and how it operated. We have never been more impressed with any companys customer service. Recently worked with Lawrence at Paulsons to upgrade my home theater.Lawrence was extremely knowledgeable, prompt, and enjoyable to work with. Connor and Robie came out to my house today to update two systems.They added a B&W Formation Bar and Formation Bass to our livingroom television and mounted the television on a swiveling wall bracket, and in my home theater space, they installed a new 4K display, and integrated my legacy gear with a universal remote.They did a terrific job! The livingroom setup is so wireless, the television looks like its just floating in space. I suspect the biggest challenge they faced was getting the B&W Formation gear working properly, but they successfully resolved the issues with humor and professionalism.My new display in my home theater room is gorgeous, but equally important to the rest of my family is how easy it now is to operate the system with, get this, one remote!Fantastic job!

The installation team did an excellent job of removing a stubborn older tv from its place in a custom built cabinet and installing a new tv in the same space. Had Paulsons out to install Kaleidescape equipment for streaming my movie library, including 4K formats, through the Control4 home automation system. The system setup is relatively new and there were bugs after the initial install - not unexpected.However, Paulsons worked with the OEMs and made numerous service calls to the house - they didnt stop until the system worked as advertised. The techs were great, as well as the sales office, and Paulsons was always timely. Will definitely use Paulsons for the next project.

From the very first meeting, everything was great. They understood what I was looking for, did not try to oversell me or force upgrades; their prices were excellent; installation was professional and timely. When I had an issue early, they were there to reset my Sonos PlayBar.
I’ve heard many positive feedbacks about others experiences from Paulson’s Audio and Video.Never did I expect that I would get the opposite.Every time I’ve walked in:1. No one even acknowledges I’ve entered the building.2. The sales floor associates are either on their CELL PHONES, doing god knows what. Or they are on the computer.3. I waited over 35 minutes each time I visited just to get a hello from someone. Which at that point I was done.I’ve worked in customer service for many, many years. This is NOT how you run a company, NOT how you treat your customers and for sure NOT how to make a good impression. The customers should not be expected to walk in in the building and go “Hello! I’m super happy to shop here today! Who can assist me?!”I think the owner needs to tighten his/her rules and expectations in his/her company.
Was considering the purchase of a larger screen television but would not fit in car. Owner offered to deliver to my home. Needless to say, I purchased the television and came with free extended warranty. Fantastic experience, and I will definitely purchase other electronics from this store.

They worked around a number of obstacles like a low ceiling and a soffit and came back multiple times until everything was perfect. While there were small hiccups throughout the process, they always worked incredibly hard to make sure we were thrilled at the end of the project.They also were incredibly competitive with pricing - and you get amazing service thrown in for free!

I have been going to Paulson’s since 2008 and their service has always been excellent which is why I have continued to go back there for the past 11 years. They did my theater room and my family room and today I was there with my wife and we are going to upgrade our bedroom with a new Sony 4K TV. So while my wife were there we stopped in for 20 minutes before an Italian resturant we like opened up. I told Sean and Dan Paulson we were going to grab some lunch and come back and finalize the deal on some equipment. What we didn’t know unti we got back at the store is Dan went over and paid for our lunch. Long story short, I love dealing with Paulson’s because they care about customer service and believe me, I don’t write many reviews and if I do they are usually bad ones. They are excellent installers and in my 11 year relationship with them, they have never let me down. Great job guys! EJ
I purchased a Yamaha THX A/V receiver (RX-V2400) from Paulson back in April of 2004 & it is still working fine. I wanted to update this receiver with a better one with all the new audio formats. I went back to Paulson & purchased a Integra THX A/V receiver & it sounds great. The staff that I dealt with (Chris Schneider, Nick Schultz & Dan Paulson) were all extremely professional & polite & very helpful/knowledgeable with helping me with my purchase. I will be going back if I need anymore A/V equipment. I highly recommend Paulson.
The Paulsons team helped me setup a fantastic entertainment experience customized for my apartment from sound to visuals, and as usual their knowledge was top-notch. Their product recommendations were not only educated, but worked within my budget. Always recommend Paulsons for everything AV.
They have good products, top of the line. Better in most cases than you will find anywhere else. Their layout is pretty sweet although it does need to be setup again and modernized in their demo room. The thing I have to ding them for is, at least in this, poor or deceitful selling practises. I called about a very specific item that I was told they used to carry. But they stated they kept getting returned for another product and that I should come in and listen to it. The clarity was nice but didnt pack the punch I wanted and was nearly triple the price of the one I wanted. And really the main selling point was an app for the device. This is it, an app. I ask for specific sounds and quality and you push and app. It was a joke. I tried moving around the room and the item was simply underpowered. I got the one I wanted from Magnolia and believe me when I heard it there was no competition. The fact that he stated theirs was better couldnt have been further from the truth. I believe they either never carried the item I wanted but had heard of it and therefore lied or the lost the ability to sell them and thus lied. Either way no reputable audiophile would push their suggestion at their price instead of what I got. If you ask I will tell you what it is but Im not here to recommend a product but warn about this practise. I know they have to make money and sell items, but this was a farce, a stretch, a faux pas, a misleading representation of their item. But this was only one person and Im sure not all of them are this way. Im glad I researched and stuck to my guns other wise I would have a hyper expensive item that makes me miserable and can never make my ears happy.

I am from NJ and needed to purchase 3 TVs for a new home. I found this store accidentally while waiting for food takeout. Shawn and Ken were the most knowledgeable people I have ever come across. I was still skeptical and went home and did all my own research. Everything they said was 100% on point. Shawn helped me every step of the way and I am thrilled with my purchase. You will not find a better price or better service anywhere. Whether its a soundbar or a full movie theater this company has me as a customer for life.

Started out great. No issues for a few months. Now some of my speakers don’t work and WiFi goes out randomly and tv shuts down for 10-20 minutes. When I call they want to charge a fee even though I paid thousands for the service. What’s funny is that of all the TVs in my house it’s the most expensive one that had all the problems that Paulsons installed. If I can’t get things fixed then I’ll most likely trnasfer my Control4 service to another certified carrier

Shawn Beaudoin was my sales person and did a wonderful job specifying equipment as my system evolved. Between Shawn and I we tailored a home theater system that I enjoy for regular TV viewing, movies with surround sound, and audiophile quality sound for listening to my favorite music. I am an older guy, 70 yrs. plus, and I originally walked into Paulsons to get a mid level stereo tuner to go with my older Polk speakers. This is a great place to buy your television and all the fun stuff to go with it. They have great prices and knowledgeable staff. When we upgraded our DVR years after our install and the universal remote would not work, they graciously reprogrammed it and gave me advice as to how to fix my other problems without charging me. Great company to buy equipment and have it installed!

January 4, 2021: Paulson Van driver almost killed me and my passengers. Paulson driver ran a red light while I was in the middle of an intersection at 11 mile and Halsted. We had the right of way. Paulson driver ran red light. Never slowed, never braked for my vehicle, I had to break for this jerk who kept going.Called store no one cared.
I just want to comment on how accommodating and easy to work with the Paulsons team has been. With everything going on they have adapted to my schedule and my needs flawlessly. Top notch customer care and service.

Excellent sales and service!...I did notice that there were a couple feature differences beween what was shown on the BDI website and the actual BDI products that were delivered but the folks at Paulsons jumped right on it and ensured that they will resolve in some way In short, I will buy from Paulsons again!

Not impressed. Bought a TV mount from and had them install. Installers admitted they’ve never installed this style of mount before. Used the wrong fasteners in many places, forget some fasteners, mounted sound bar incorrectly facing downward, not all fasteners were tight and took most of the left over parts with them when they left.
First class operation. Dan, Kris, & Matt were beyond professional, aggressive pricing, and top notch service. I would recommend to anyone looking for AV work.

2022-06-28Fabulous experience, from sales through installation. We walked in with a sketch and some ideas on what we wanted, and Parker quickly formulated a solution that was exactly what we wanted. We never felt pressured to replace equipment we already had and instead Parker worked up a solution to incorporate what we wanted to keep.We were able to schedule the installation around our schedule, and the team confirmed the appointment the day before. On installation day the team showed up on time (a rarity with all our other contractors these days), were very friendly and professional, and not only installed the equipment but did all the setup and showed us how to use the equipment.Highly recommend this team! Very focused on customer experience. Ill return to them next time we need an upgrade!

2022-05-31Our experience was terrific. Bill at the store was informative and patient with us. He answered all of our questions with his knowledge and experience. Very Professional! We shopped around and came back, after realizing that Paulsons offered exactly what we wanted. The delivery/install was great with both Jared and Chuck showing up on time and doing a fabulous job to set up the new TVs just they way we wanted. I will highly recommend to anyone that you use Paulsons.

2022-02-03This is the second TV I purchased from Paulsons. I bought both from Shaun. He spent all the time we needed, I highly recommend him. Paulson’s also installed both sets for us. Shaun and Wes did the installation for us. These two were the best. When they came in they had a mask on and they immediately took there shoes off.Very clean, polite and explained everything to us so we could understand the operating procedures. Very happy with the company and the people that work there.

2021-10-28I cannot recommend Paulsons enough! My wife and I wanted to complete at 5:1 surround sound in our basement using a SONOS AMP with some Bowers and Wilkins ceiling speakers and hiding all the wires was an absolute requirement. Paulsons was the only company I talked to with the confidence and experience to complete this job at a world-class theater level. From the moment I spoke to my initial contact to the moment the installation team left my house I was never in the dark or worried about the job. They are true pros and masters of their craft. The did not leave until I was explained everything and shown how it works and then demonstrated that I could work the system myself. I cannot stress enough how comfortable I was and am with this company and their team. I will be hiring them in the future for all projects related to their experience. 10/10

2022-02-25Always a wonderful experience with people that really know the products that they sell. I will never go back to a big box store for my audio needs. Their prices are in line with Best Buy and Amazon so why go anywhere else. Top quality equipment in line with my budget and beyond. Go in just to see their surround sound capabilities! Paulson is the only store you need for audio. And they dont even pay me for this! You must try it!

2022-06-28I contracted with Paulsons for yet another job of installing a system to incorporate outdoor speakers, and a turntable system inside my home - Working with Paulsons scheduling team was a breeze, as they were very willing to work as hard as they could to ensure timing on installation, and given how busy they are, I was very happy with the way they worked this job into their schedule. Also, I have to say that their install team is THE BEST!! They were very precise with where the speakers should be positioned to get the maximum coverage of audio in my backyard and were respectful of existing landscaping so as not to damage anything while laying the wiring. EXCELLENT WORK ALL AROUND!!!! Do not HESITATE to hire this company for ALL your AV needs.

Parker was attentive, knowledgable and readily available. Connor Thompson and his installation team, Nathan & Tim, were amazing. 2022-05-16Great Customer service. 11 year old speakers I bought at Paulsons stopped working. They contacted the manufacturer and had replacement parts shipped free of charge. Wouldnt even charge me to install the new parts. Doug Chase went out of his way to resolve the situation. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

2022-07-24Paulsons spent 8+ hours at our house upgrading us (literally) from the 20th to the 21st century complete with new TVs and Sonos sound system while connecting all of our legacy components (i.e. turntable, tape deck, CD jukebox, TiVo, and more) to our internal house-wide speaker system. They did a phenomenal job and we love our new A/V world. I would highly recommend them for any size job. Very professional and dedicated installers and support people.
