BEST shellac/gel mani ever! In 2 Days it will be three weeks and they have yet to chip! I got a Groupon and will definitely be going back! I was a little late because of traffic and they stayed late with no complaints or rushing me!
I was looking for a new nail place and referred here through a friend. I am really picky with my nails but often just leave places unhappy with out saying anything. I’ve had 2 different nail techs here & been very pleased with them all. They’re very thorough, clean and just all around do amazing work. Oh yeah another added bonus, I’ve been able to get an appointment right away, no waiting!
This has been my go to nail salon for a while now but after today’s experience I don’t think I’ll be back :/ My nails were left in acetone for over an hour , meanwhile no one was really checking on me and I felt like a waste of space. I truly love all the staff there but I’d rather be told that they are going to be super busy and book me another day , than squeezing me in and completely ignoring me. Like I said, there is nothing wrong with this salon , I just wish they could have been more professional and considerate .
I set up my appointment a week before. I walked in and the owner (I think) welcomed me very kindly, since it’s walk in there were ladies already before me, so my friend and I had to wait about twenty minutes before they actually took us. Very kind and the lady (I’m sure was the owner) kept apologizing but it was okay cause she was too sweet. She did my nails sooo amazing...as for my friend, she didn’t really like her nails but then again she wasn’t very sure on what she’d actually wanted cause this was only both our second time at a nail salon.Doesn’t look as clean if you really look around but the some of the staff are really kind and the price is good if you want Acrylics +Polish for $35.
I love this place. Ive tried many other places & none compare to the quality & neatness here. Cleanliness is very important to me & I dont have to worry about that here. I love that they take their time making sure that your nails look as good & as spoiled as can be. Cindy is amazing & always spoils me🥰. Just keep in mind, with how good they are, theyre always busy, so an appointment is a must😊
I’m going to this salon for Years! I call to make appointment on my day off . It’s was all ready 2 pm . Cindy told me come around 4:30 pm. I went on my appointment she have some one else on the chair. Went I arrived in the salon I did ask Cindy how long it’s gonna take you to done with customer? She answered I don’t know! I stay there till 5 pm . I went to her I did ask her again and she told me I’m busy lol . And I get mad I told her yes I made appointment with you! I shouldn’t be wait is somebody make appointment! ! And customer answer to me ! She is behind and she is very busy I asked her to her that’s not my problem! I told her you are not doing my nails for free I am paying for it so for my money I can go everywhere with out appointment. Also her Daughter were there and she is so young and I don’t think so she half license to work there so she need to pay the people if she wanna do the run the business proper not to play with customer feeling and I’m not gonna go anymore they’re waste my money and wasting the time I don’t think she is good like how she making herself !
Really really wanted to love this nail salon! It was my first time there and the spa part was amazing! Massage feet and legs, hot rocks, hot towels. Id give that 5 stars. Now I didnt realize until I really looked close at my toenails, I got cut and the polish is not even, honestly I could have done a better job. Not to mention my two thumbnails are already chipped. Spent over 2 hours there and I just really thought it was better. Nice staff but at the same time you can tell they like to chat about or towards you. And we had no idea what they were saying 90% of the time! Sorry but too expensive for what I recieved. Left a nice tip too and I regret it. 😞 I honestly really wanted to like this place! My first thought i really did.

I had the keratin gel manicure and sea salt pedicure with Lisa. it was wonderful! I love how she paid attention to detail, was very thorough, and scrubbed and polished for almost 2 hours! I will definitely be back!
I would never go to another salon. I love these ladies here:) always sees me right away, always does an amazing job and always so friendly! Ive even taken my 2 yr old daughter with me and they dont mind at all. In fact, when I dont bring her they want to know why:) forever my nail salon
My wife has been to this salon twice now. The first time they couldnt even use warm to hot water for the pedicure it was ice cold and the nail technician apparently cannot figure out how to shape nail and this was a very displeasing experience for my wife. The second time she goes they continuously up-charged my wife throughout the experience and never once told her they where doing so, and then when they where confronted about it that all they could say was well did you ask I am sorry that is not the job of the consumer but is the legal obligation of the business to inform the consumer of any up charged they are performing. Also my wife has been spending months growing her nails out and now getting them dipped to protect them today she went in to have her nail filled and they cut off all of her nails stripped the paint off completely and made her pay for the entire service all over again. and they still cannot figure out how to shape nails, and talk to their customers. On top of that my wife dint have one nail tech through this process but she was passed between four different nail technicians and still the end result was not what my wife was looking for. Please beware of this salon and how they run the business and treat their clients.
Yesterday August 16th was my first time at Penelope Nail Salon. I was given a Groupon for my Birthday, and I was very impressed. My Appt was at 5, but the lady was nice enough to take me early. She soaked my feet for about 20 minutes which I loved, everything was very clean, and the utensils used were sanitized and packaged. The sea salt Pedi was amazing, they even substituted the manicure for a great eyebrow waxing. Ill definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful service
This place was absolutely awful. we came in at 3:30 and were told to come back in 30 minuets. we came back at 4 and sat there for 20 minuets. they were going back a fourth between costumers, and my nails didn’t ever turn out good. i had to tel her that one side was way longer than the other. they turned out WAY shorter than i wanted. and when i told her that they were uneven she laughed. also the power file thing that she used cut my finger multiple times. she also held it in one spot too long so it got very hot and hurt really bad. when i told her she laughed and said sorry. we just left the salon at 6:30. i will not be coming here again
I went here for the second time today. First experience was mixed. I got a hot stone pedicure last month. I had an appointment for 6pm. They had me sit in the pedicure chair for about 45 minutes waiting for someone to come to me. The water in the basin was so cold. I couldn’t even get anyone’s attention so I could fix it until they started and then they were in such a hurry that they didn’t want to fix it when they started. Everything was rushed. Was not relaxing at all. And she shaped my nails really weird. I then got my nails dipped for the first time. That was all really rushed. I paid for a manicure with the dip and they didn’t do anything but dip them. They turned out beautiful so I bit the bullet and didn’t complain, just remembered not to go there for anything except the dip from now on. When I left, I double checked the price to come back next time and get them dipped again. I was told $25.Today, I went again to get my dip. I had a 5pm appointment. From 5-6:15 they had me sitting in a chair “soaking my nails.” When I finally got a woman to start on my nails I told her I had to leave by 6:50, so I didn’t think I could stay. She guaranteed I’d be done by 6:45. When she started, she complimented how long my nails grew and told me they were really long and beautiful. I asked her to trim the two really long ones to the size of the rest. (About a half inch above my fingertip). She cut all of my nails down to barely above my fingertip. Then she told me she didn’t know how to do multiple colors for dip so I had to wait for someone else. Ten minutes after that another lady has me move to her chair where she proceeded to roughly attempt to do ombré with my nails. They look horrible. The woman complained the entire time that my nails were too short to do the ombré, but never gave me a chance to pick another design. She just kept messing them up and complaining about how short my nails were and starting over. Not only are the nails I worked so hard on keeping long now completely gone but they look awful. The colors are crooked and uneven. By that time it was almost 7:30 and I just needed to leave so she finally cashed me out. Low and behold my nails are now $45 and not $25. I asked why the price changed suddenly and all she would say is that “ombré is more.” I was never once told that it would be an upgrade or I would have just done one color like I had before. I’m not one to spend money on myself and would never spend that much if I had known. I left feeling very unhappy and they didn’t care about anything except getting their money. My nails look like I’m about 5 years old.
Went in today for a mommy and me mani and pedi and we are so happy with the whole experience!! The ladies working were so welcoming and kind to both of us and really cared how are nails turned out and if we were happy with everything. A little bit far from our home but totally worth it. We will be returning!!!
My daughter and I went here to pamper before a big event she had. I had purchased two Groupons. Pros = they called to ask us to come a little later as they had a staff member call in sick and knew if we came at our scheduled time we would have to sit and wait. I appreciated the heads up and consideration. Cons = the two technicians spent the entire time talking to each other and made it difficult for us to have a conversation with each other. It was not very clean, we used the restroom before we started and I was concerned about whether we should stay. My daughters toenail chipped before we even made it to the car. I should have gone right back in, but it was pretty late at night and we had already been there about 2 hours. We were both tired and ready to go home. Her fingernail chipped after less than 24 hours. To be fair she did not have shellac, but I feel it still should have lasted more than a day. My nails, after one day are still ok, not chipped.
The staff is amazing. I was greeted and serviced quickly. They offer complimentary non-alcoholic beverages while youre being serviced. The place was clean and neat as well. The tech did a great job on my nails as well.
BEEN IN THIS PLACE FOR 3 hours. The guy doing my nails did my feet perfect, When it came to my nails he was about to polish them , I told the lady I wanted tips on my nails so I was confused. I’ve been here 3 times and this has to have been my worse experience ever!!!! He made my finger bleed being too ruff, guessing he had a attitude because he made a mistake. The lady took over and did the rest of the job for me. When it came time for me to pay she charged me $73 dollars added on a extra $10. Eyebrows are $8, shellac fullest is $30 and my feet was $25 that adds up to $63 (online prices) not $73! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK IN THE PLACE
First time here today, and had a great experience. Anna is probably the most thorough nail technician I’ve ever had and I love how my nails turned out!!
They are OPEN! There are a few changes since COVID... You have to make a reservation in order to have any services. Masks required. They have pelxiglass up between you and the technician for health reasons. Also, since you are in such close proximity with your technician, they do take your temperature and have you sign a health check (have you been around someone with COVID? Do you have any symptoms? Etc.)Honestly, I feel much better with everything in place. They are doing everything they can to keep clients and staff safe. Plus, its SUPER clean, which theyve always been good about.On top of the cleanliness, the technicians do quality work. Highly recommend Penelope Nail Salon!

I’ve went to this salon twice, each time they sent me away saying they’re very busy! Today I went there literally 10 minutes after they opened and was turned away!! If you only take customers by appointment then that’s what you should advertise!!!!! I’ll not walk in there again, to just get turned away!! Very rude and unprofessional!!!
I came here for a pedicure and shellac manicure. My toes were fine, except me having to tell my tech that she got polish past my cuticles and cut my nails crooked. My manicure was awful. The shellac was all over my cuticles and skin, so within a day it had hard, sharp edges that were getting caught on my hair and everything.
Update please read all- i like how the owner responded to the review and doesnt accept responsibility of the poor service performed or apologise for how their employees treated their customers so poorly and called 911 because she asked for a refund due to the terrible service provided. We were honesty affraid for our saftey the way the guy you employ was acting. We were kind of glad he called 911 hoping police actyally came just for our saftey. Neither of us have ever experienced an employee act like that anywhere ever. Also fyi you damaged her actual nail when grinding too deep to put the replacement nail on that you replaced...Beware of this place. They actually call 911 if you ask for a refund due to their terrible services performed. Read entirely for all info. One star is too much for this place. My girlfriend went here to have an acrylic fill done and the not even one day later one nail was falling off and another cracked where they fixed it. They didnt even fill around the nails properly. Also they drilled her nail so hard the finger hurt. We went back the next day to ask for a refund because she has to go somewhere else to have them fixed properly. They at first refused to give a refund unless they removed the nails which obviously she didnt want them touching her after what happened. When she refused to let them touch her they called 911 on us for asking for a refund. I never have experienced such unprofessional behavior from a business. When we explained to them that 911 is for emergency use and that them calling for something as immature as this situation that they could be risking someones safety the man who works there that was acting psychotic the entire time replied I dont care. Instead of doing what was right and refunding her for terrible service provided they called 911 over a 15.00 refund. I just have never experienced something like this. Beware of going here for anything. Not just due to horrible services but also they have psychotic employees acting threatening and calling 911 for asking for a refund. They did finally refund her after speaking to the owner and making her sign some paper saying they are not liable if she gets an infection from drilling too deep into the nail and not allowing them to remove her acrylic nails because she was afraid to let them touch her with the way they were acting.
This place is awful. It’s a Chinese nail salon that uses low quality polish. They had a dog in the business. That is very unprofessional and inconsiderate especially for people with allergies. They also rushed me. The nail polish was cheap quality and wore off fast. And if it was not bad enough, if you have a Coupon or Groupon or anything like that than you will be treated like trash here.

I was treating a very special friend to a mani/pedi. When I called to set it up, the staff responded very favorable. They allowed us to schedule to appointnent the same day which was last minute.The shop is sated but clean. I loved the puppy they have as a mascot.

DO NOT GO HERE!!I went in for a pedicure on 6/18/2019 and as the day went by both of my big toes started to hurt and swell. I was just told it’s a staph infection. This place is clearly not sanitary, please do not go here.

My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas $50.00... I went in today to use it. They told me “Diane” sold the business and they could not redeem it that they would be out $50.00... well we are out The $50.00 dollars and that’s ok ?.....and their little punch card that I need 2 more punches on, would only worth 10% discount not a $20.00 gift card... be careful dealing with this place...! I Will Never Go Back....!! SCAMMERS..!

Great nail salon, they take their time and really make it a nice experience. The inside of the shop may not look as nice as some salons right of the bat, but the work they do makes up for it!!!

2022-05-25Love love love. Cannot express how wonderful this family business is. I try to go back every two weeks, but have been able to wait up to a month with minimal damage. All these adorable looks were hand done and for shockingly reasonable prices.

2022-06-30Clean place, friendly staff, their work looks good, but I ended up not using their services. They do not have the best time management/scheduling skills. My appointment was for 5:00 pm, I arrived maybe a minute or two before my appointment, was seated and given the pallet to choose from. 10-15 minutes went by and no one came to work on my nails, then 20 minutes, and by the 30 minute mark I was fuming, so I walked out. I just moved to the area and went here because of the reviews, but the wait was not worth it for me. I could be speaking from a place of ignorance, but the few times I’ve had nail appointments, they’re on time. At most 10-15 minute wait while I pick a color and nail tech gets setup, definitely not 30 minutes. I did not have time to have my time wasted today.

2022-06-06I used to really like this place but today I had an appointment. I told them I would be on my lunch break. They still had me soak my nails for literally 40 minutes and then she started to do my nails, only after I reminded her again, while using the same gloves she was just using to work on someone elses feet. She put 3 coats of clear on before even starting and dried my hands one at a time between each coat so I got back to work late and left without even finishing. Very disappointed and I will not be back. The lady they have that is helping is the only reason for the 2 stars

2018-05-09Update: I have now been here 3 times and love it every time! The people are always so nice and my nails look great and last a long time! Cannot express how much I love this place! They also gave a nice foot and hand rub; so relaxing!I loved this nail salon. Ive been to quite a few places and this is my favorite place! They gave me a nice pedicure with a very nice massage and exfoliated. They also did a very nice job on the painting of my manicure and pedicure. This was my first time using the paraffin wax and it was so moisturizing! I will definitely be going here again!

2022-01-12I normally have Cindy do my nails but today some other lady did and she was super rude to the girl next to me. And 4 of my nails had to be rebuffed and top coat put on. On a couple of my nails she didnt file them enough on the sides. My left hand isnt as good as the right and she only went over them twice with the dip . Ill post pics in update. But I wont be going here again.

2019-08-10Ive been getting my nails done for over 10 years now. Yesterday I tried a new salon and Diane was amazing. She stayed open an hour and half late just to fit me in. She didnt cut any corners! I love my nails and how wonderful everyone there is! Ill definitely be back! Thanks again!! ❤️❤️❤️😍❤️❤️❤️Update. I love the new owners. They are amazing and truly make you feel pampered!!! Will be back! Love love love my nails!
