Comment: Penske saved me! Uhaul quoted me an outrageous price for a one way move out of state. Called these guys and Jeff saved the day. He offered me a way to be able to move that I could afford. He gave me several honest options to get this move done. Will never use any truck rental other than penske and will always recommend this company to any family or friends.

Comment: I have been to many penske branchs offices and I have never been treated with so much disrespect, like the way I did on Saturday by TOM COOKSON this person to me he doesnt have any customer service skills or any ethics to supervise a team, I had to look for my own truck and Ken Kozel offer to help me finding the truck. After we located the truck we were offered a cup of water, thats when TOM COOKSON approached us and asked us to leave where we were drinking water from, the way he asked us to fo out side made us felt like if we were stealing from this location, that was a very bad way to asked a person to leave a place. TOM COOKSON made it sound like anger management issues or he was being RACIST. So sad for someone that holds a position to act this way with customers that are paying thousands of dollar to the company this is not acceptable. Theres more to this cituacion that corporate will hear about.

Comment: Very good customer service. My company rented a truck for me and when I got there, they didnt have one available with a ramp. As I was dropped off, one of the drivers took me to a different location where I could get the truck I needed. I was put off a little on time (it took about 2 hours total) Upon returning my truck, I was about an hour/ 2 hours past my return time. They waived the second day fee, apologizing for the hassle. I rent multiple penskes weekly, and by far the best customer service Ive ever seen.

Comment: Early on a Saturday morning heading from LA to Seattle and my Penske Lease Freightliner had a check engine light come on.Called ahead and the super friendly service department said to just stop in. We did and as soon as we arrived, they had us pull right into the shop. They got on it immediately and had us back on the road in just over an hour.A typical Penske experience, they very rarely dissapoint and this location is no exception. Thanks for the fast, efficient and friendly service. Its much appreciated!

Comment: Weve been customers of Penskes for over a decade and weve never encountered a location where it is a pleasure to do business. The Service that our truck received at West Sacramento was above and beyond the call of duty.They not only fixed the two lights that needed to be fixed but performed a PM and battery test, discovering that the batteries were failing, replaced the batteries, washed the truck, and greased the 5th wheel when the only thing that was on the DVIR was the two bulbs that needed to be replaced.These people do an outstanding job, especially with the fact that this truck was from out of state and, as we’ve been told from other locations even within our own state, “It’s not our problem.”Lynn in the Service Department deserves great praise for the supervision of her people and instilling in them the need to the extra mile.This has been one of the few times that getting basic service hasn’t felt like pulling teeth or that we’ve interrupted someone’s vacation.If other Penske locations had 1/100th the dedication to quality and service that the West Sacramento location has, Penske would be a totally different company.
