Comment: We were referred by Sams Club. We were immediately contacted to set a test drive. I kept inquiring if they had the vehicle we were looking for. No response other than an automated robotic response to come and test drive. Finally, a live person called and confirmed they did not have the vehicle I was looking for. The calls continued to a point of undue harassment. They dont get it. The gal that called umpteen times was very rude when I told her to stop calling me. Even if they acquired the vehicle that I am looking for, I would never set foot in that place.

Comment: I had a really amazing experience here. Everyone was immensely helpful and supportive through the whole process of buying a transit. Ali, Sid, Harold, Joseph and Brandon all helped me with buying a transit and were so understanding and helpful when it came to needing to return it due to certain features that would render the vehicle almost useless and a danger to me to have(just the windows, I do a lot of underground events and transport expensive equipment and I realized it was a huge risk I wasn’t willing to take) and they really honored their word, were flexible and understanding with me, and totally took care of me. Having being burned by other dealers I was fearful and aggressive but they truly had my back and went beyond to make everything right and even make sure I had a ride home and helped me deliver the vehicle. They are extremely courteous, honest people and I’m very grateful for their help. Not to mention patient as well because I was a bit of a brat, and they were extremely kind and worked with me through it all. They sell high quality cars, have integrity when dealing with customers, and their cars are a very decent price for the excellent condition of their used vehicles. I really enjoyed my experience here and will keep checking back to see if they have a high roof no window used transit. Not to mention, they made the whole process extremely easy and painless. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.

Comment: Sales shenanigans all over. One sales rep. tried to convince me my appointment was at a different time than what was set. He obviously did this because he had set another appointment at the same time. When I arrived, this same rep. who happened to be with other customers, abandoned them to talk to me. As soon as I said I was there for a test drive as we had previously agreed but wasnt buying today, he went back to the other customers and sent back another employee to handle the test drive. He was unprofessional to me and the customers he was already with.When I asked about leasing, I got ridiculously high leasing rates. I pointed out that the Ford website quotes leasing rates that were barely more than half of what was quoted to me. The finance rep. capitulated and told me hed be able to do what Ford stated. This means the rep. was trying to just fleece me in a big way. Again, very unprofessional especially that he assumed I had no idea of how leases work and that I would have done some prior research.During the purchase, the finance rep. automatically added extras that I never said I wanted. These extras had not even been discussed but I was just supposed to accept them. I didnt and insisted they be taken off.When I finally did purchase the vehicle, it was ready more than 7 hours after I was promised it would be ready.With all this said, I would have given the overall rating a much lower score except that one sales rep. there - Juan Valencia was very friendly and helpful. Kudos to him as he is the only reason I decided to purchase my vehicle at Performance Ford.

When I arrived to drop off my car, I was right at the service window, but the staff completely ignored us and didnt even greet us. We had to wait for a long time before someone finally came to assist us. To make matters worse, they claimed that they couldnt find my appointment, even though I had a confirmation text. They told us to come back the next day because they were too busy to address the specific issue we had booked the appointment for. The manager or supervisor we dealt with was sarcastic and incredibly unfriendly. On top of all that, they didnt even offer the shuttle service that was included in my lease deal. I deeply regret choosing this place for service and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Its a shame because the car dealers themselves are very nice, helpful, and friendly. The managers lack of friendliness and reliability really tarnished the overall experience.

The team is not even helpful and the vehicle was insured before I got it and the salesmen was driving it around. There was no inspection what was done so IT’S MY OWN RESPONSIBILITY. No oil change or tags. The salesman broke my handle to exit the vehicle and I guess I get what I pay for. There is a lot of scratches on the vehicle.If someone buys a used car be on the lookout for dents and scratches. Compare before and after.

This is one of those dealers you want to stay away from if you want a smooth honest negotiation. I talked to different people on a couple of occasions when looking into a Bronco. The first time when they asked me about what I was looking to pay, I said no dealer addons and no markup. They told me everyone pays for addons and a markup. On the second occasion I talked to someone about price for the same bronco they said they had to buy it from another dealer so it would be 7k over msrp.

I purchased my 2017 Ford 6-1/2 years ago from a neighboring Ford dealership, with whom I remained a loyal and exclusive service customer ever since... well until now. I had too many poor experiences with the other dealers service department, beginning with my first warranty repair, as I felt it was a customer is always second environment. Even with very competitive prices, I have to say, when a business is unable to raise their 3.7 rating, even after a change of ownership and/or management, over a 5yr time period, for me, that speaks volumes. Ive already returned 2 vehicles to dealers. One is because I was lied to and 2nd was because of deposit agreement. In each case the vehicle I wanted was sold out from under me and they wanted to sell me a higher price model. Their ratings were both 4.5 & 4.4. So, with 3.7 I have to believe what I read. Buyers........take your time, theres too many dealers out there and whether you know it or not you are the one in the drivers seat........pun intended! Listen to your gut and dont be afraid to walk away.

Comment: My review is solely based off the SERVICE I received on my Ranger. I called 4 dealerships in my surrounding area in the Inland Empire and only one answered- Raceway. And they only had the quick lane open. I got transferred to the quick lane and no was picking up and when they finally did- they picked up the phone to hang it up. I called Performance Ford and service advisor Fiona picked up right away. After I explained that I was coming from the inland empire (40 mins away) and waiting for the service (oil change- tire rotation etc. & I still have my maintenance plan) she promised to get me on my way as soon as possible. I have made my first payment on my car already and only driven it 1 week and just keep finding big issues with my purchase. They tell you they do a 150 point inspection on the car and I keep running into broken things on the car, who ever is in charge of pre inspections is horrible at their job. Comment: Test drove a 2022 Ford Bronco manual and they we’re very helpful at first. Initially I was told that they should be able to work a deal out if I was interested since the car had been on the lot for 30 days and was a “custom order that was canceled since the buyer didn’t realize it was stick shift.” After the test drive I was sat down and then showed a price breakdown of about 60k after my trade in of a 2014 VW GTI at 11k. The MSRP of the FB Black Diamond was listed at 40k. After going back and forth for 20 minutes I was able to get them down to 10K over MSRP and they upped my trade in value to 14k. Which to me showed that they we’re low balling me to begin with of the value of my car. I was told they needed to talk to the dealer owner before giving me a final OTD offer but I never heard back from them. Overall not satisfied.

At that time I was told that both axels had to be replaced so I payed $1400 to have them replaced. No more than a month and a half later, my passenger side starts to shake. When I got out to inspect the issue, my passenger tire was starting to separate!! I go to have the tire change only to find out that my driver side was starting to separate as well and all of the lights began to come on!! My tire installer stated that this could be because no alignment was done. Frustrated, I took the car back to this service department hoping for a resolution and nothing transpired after the car being there for over a week, worst of all I did not get a follow up call when I called to speak to the manager. I am now in the process of trading the car in and unfortunately have lost all respect for Ford!!

Performance Ford started out like champions, them the inexperience sales guy tells me, if I want the car I HAVE to buy a low-jack security system PERFORMANCE FORD installed on 2017 Porsche. I MUST also buy the monthly subscription (subscription expires in 3years BUT financed for 6years at 6%.). I question if this practice is legal? 🤔I must admit, I accepted 1 tank of to accept to move forward with the signing of documents. Next I learned Performance FORD WC ON GARVEY added some kind of protection to prevent door dings on car doors. This “mandatory” option must be financed for 6years. Performance Ford WC, lower the selling price of the vehicle by $2500, now the deal is attractive, I questioned why is the total “out the door“ price the same if I was approved already & the price $2500 less before. They lied and said that the interest rate changed. The truth was the cost of the “mandatory” options which was already on the car total $2500. I am NOT interested in compensation BUT I would like to see Performance Ford in West Covina suffer before they rip-off, more innocent families. I am actively conducting research on the most effective way to put rip-off business like this on blast. I encourage everyone to buy your car elsewhere don’t shop at Performance Ford West Coving Ca. Comment: The dealership lured us in with a price of 35,000 and then came with these hidden, fine print fees which then brought our sales price to 44,000. The fine print says it’s temporary and can be purchased, which seems to me like it is an option to have them added. It is not an option so prepare for those extra fees. Our sales person knew nothing about the vehicle. He didn’t even know the vehicle was a 4x4. A very basic thing the sales person didn’t even know.Then we called and told our salesperson to get the vehicle ready for us, we were gonna go pick it up around 3. We arrived at 2, took for a test drive and the vehicle wasn’t detailed or filled up until 530. We had to wait an additional hour or so for the finance manager since they only had one working on a weekend. After that, they brought us a “detailed” suburban filthy. The seats had dirt all over it and the cargo area had dirt everywhere. Piles of it, had the sales person take it back and the excuse was they only had one person back there. Even though I saw multiple workers back there. Then I got in the Suburban after asking our sales rep if he was going to fill it up and detail. He said yes, just to see the tank below a quarter tank.Then to top it off, we left a bad review and the sales manager called and asked why we left a bad review and then asked for the vehicle back so then we could remove the review. He Kept asking how to make it better and it just wasn’t a friendly conversation. I told him to have a good day. Then 2 mins later I got another call from the sales person Ivan, asking how to make it better and if I wasn’t happy to just bring the car back and then remove the negative review.If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. The worst customer service and worst sales model I’ve ever seen. We were there for 3 hours and they didn’t offer us water or anything. The finance manger was very kind and honest though.

Comment: I purchased a Ford Maverick Hybrid on 12/16/2021. The salesman Ivan was very helpful in getting me in as the truck was very hard to find. He goes on to tell me that there will be a markup, I figured thered be a bit of one but was able to stomach a little bit (more on the markup later). After we sit down for the credit application, I was given back a deal that was incredibly atrocious. A rate that was insulting for my credit profile, added on things that couldnt be removed. I asked about the rate and they said this is the best we can do considering its a new car and what our credit party can allow us to provide. I wasnt expecting 0%, but what was offered was just insulting. Knowing that their truck was very hard to find they managed to finagle their way to a payment that I could stomach and was expecting. They cut the rate a little and, admittedly, emotions get to you and I decided to put more down on the truck. Everything was fine, and I walked out of there with a truck. For context, the mark-up from MSRP was $6,330. I traded in a car and put down a decent sum to get the deal, all due to the high pressure sales tactics and the fact they took advantage of a hard to find vehicle. 26 hours later I was rear-ended and the car was deemed a total loss, not but 400 miles of my own miles driven on the truck, as I was on a trip. I know I needed a replacement.After shopping for this hard to find truck everywhere for a couple weeks, I finally found one available at my local Ford. Colley Ford in Glendora. This time, I got my own pre-approval from my bank and was able to walk in with a rate that was very much what I think is fair. Upon the first deal they offered on the truck I quickly nixed many add-ons to get the payment I had expected going in. Better yet, the trucks markup here was $5000. Interestingly, I bought a replacement with a higher MSRP from the OEM but paid less than I did at Performance Ford. My new loan is shorter and lower interest with a payment that was equal to what I have now. I put down a fraction of what I did at Performance Ford, nearly half.It is very disappointing that this is how you treat your community.

Comment: I purchase my vehicle before new management came in, had several services performed at this location. Last visit at this location was under new management. I drove my vehicle for service but not only did I receive service, several items were taken/stolen. I reached out and come to find out the person that helped me that day is no longer working there. He never enter our conversations regarding the stolen items from my vehicle. So now I await to see what will be done for my lost. Some advise: When hiring a background check should be ran. Stop hiring thieves that take form customers. As a customer I like to believe my car is in safe hands. I’m hoping I will get reimbursed for the stolen items.

Comment: I took my truck in for a oil change and it looks like they did a fair job. The reason for the 3 stars is my truck has never leaked oil. After Ford changed the oil and I parked my vehicle overnight there was a oil spot. After further investigation, it looks like they let the oil drain across the cross member and didnt clean it up very well. Just sloppy workmanship. I will be keeping an eye on the oil spot to see if it gets worse.

Comment: Never been baited and switched as hard before in my life than at Performance Ford for a Mach E. I went to go buy one, they wanted 5k over MSRP. I told him from the beginning that I wasnt paying a cent over MSRP and he said he could work it out and match my Carvana offer. After a test drive, lo and behold when he tells me he cant match my Carvana offer (-5k) and theres 3k in dealer add ons. I was like ok and got up and the finance manager ran and caught us, told us he could match the Carvana offer but the dealer markup would go back on. So its a net gain of 0 but now I have to pay taxes on the 5k? Didnt say anything and walked out. Guess were buying another Tesla.

I wanted to cancel it.1st time call they sent me to service and then they tried to get me to finance and it disconnected.2nd time call they were in a meeting and told me to call back.3rd time call they transferred me from sales (after I called finance) and it dropped out.4th time by email no one has gotten back to me.Very dissatisfied with this. Interest rates are ridiculously high even with a great credit score. They make money by selling service contracts, gap insurances, and finance charges. Comment: Went there a couple of days ago had agreed on a deal but there was an issue with the bank on my trade in. A day later I resolved the issue with the bank called them back let them know I was able to clear it up and was ready to make the deal! They call me back telling me the new bank required me to get the gap insurance and extended warranty or they wouldn’t finance me! I guess Michael didn’t hear when I told him I sold cars before and I know the gap and warranty have nothing to do with the banks! Thats how the sales managers make commission!! Funny how the day before they kept telling me they weren’t making a dime on my deal and the deal was approved! They were even detailing the car for me!! the next day the only way I’d get approved was adding gap and warranty which made my payment go up 100 dollars! I don’t think it’s appropriate to refer to a stranger or customer as my friend. “Do you know the factory is shut down until September? Good luck my friend.” Was the response I received when asked about the price and it being last years base model. Merely asking him questions about the price resulted in him wanting to end the conversation twice. I did not feel I was being treated as a customer but instead as an annoyance. Seeing as I was still interested in the vehicle, If I do end up making a deal with WC Performance Ford I refuse to deal with Michael as I’m sure most of the associates are more respectful.

Sales Manager was good, but will always act like a Sales Manager to make profit for the dealership and will do what it takes to win for the house.My sales lady was awesome!! Thank you for being YOU!!I went in knowing my numbers and simply wanted to see if they matched them.Everything went great until I got into finance.Despite being pre-approved via. a credit union with an awesome rate. Finance guy tried luring me in to a higher month and higher percentage rate. Luckily, I caught it and was not just going to stay silent. He eventually showed me the screen and somehow my 2.44% at 60 months appeared. Which he tried saying I could only get a 2.74% at 72 months (Ridiculous). He even dared to say ( its only $5.00 more a month) Yea, but those $5.00 a month for that longer term add up buddy!!!Lastly, do your homework and know what cashback rebates are being offered through-out various dealerships in your area and from Ford.com.Sales Manager was trying to tell me my $750.00 education code was not combinable with the already dealership old stock discount and rebate from ford. He eventually accepted my code while in finance. It appeared it was the first time he has even seen the print out slip with the voucher code for the discount until I kept bringing it up. Do not stay silent and remember you are the customer! Ask for water!!!In all, it was a good experience because I knew what to expect and what they would try to pull. Comment: While assisting my daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. DelBosque purchase a truck, we had a horrible experience with Performance Ford in West Covina, CA. They sure lived up to all the poor reviews on Yelp, Google and many other sites we saw prior to our experience. We still decided to try them because we saw a used RAM truck we were interested in for an advertised for $45,841. Prior to going in we negotiated a price of $43,900 in writing via email/text. The following day we drove 3.5 hours to go in and test drive the truck. Later we sat down and offered $43,400, ($500 less than the previous agreed to written price). Our sales rep Michael Aragon insisted that he didnt want to waste his and our time and didnt want to present the offer to his manager. We became frustrated with Michael and his arrogance because he was not at all helpful, or customer friendly, nor was he willing to present our offer. After asking him multiple times that we speak directly with his manager he finally went and then returned with Sales Manager, Sam. Sam discussed our offer with us and made it clear that he didnt have anymore room to reduce the price on this vehicle. So Sam asked us to discuss it among ourselves and after a few minutes we agreed to purchase the truck at the email/text price of $43,900 that Performance Ford and Sam said he would honor and reaffirmed because we had it in writing.Michael then started the process with us filling out the credit app which we knew would not be problem since we have an excellent credit score over 810 and we were already pre-qualified with our CU. Michael took drivers licenses and proof of insurance to make copies. A few minutes later manager Sam came back and confirmed we were approved with an int. rate of 2.49% and said we were in line to meet with the finance guy to complete the contract. Michael later came back and said that the truck was going to be washed and fueled. As we waited some more Michael became suspiciously distant then after about 20 minutes he came back and said we were next in line to meet with finance then walked away. Ten minutes later Michael returned again and informed us that he had Bad News. He said the owner of the dealership did NOT approve the sale of the truck and had cancelled the sale. This sounded ridiculous so we asked to speak with manger Sam. Michael refused to call Sam back so I decided to walk into the manager bubble area, to ask Sam what had just happened! All Sam would say is that he had no control over what happened and that the dealership owner, (who was not at the dealership), called him and said the deal was off. Not only was this shady but we were very disappointed that they ran our credit without willing to sell us the truck. They misled and misrepresented a price they affirmed in writing.These guys truly lived up to all the other poor reviews, absolutely the worst and an embarrassment to the Ford Corporation who we will be contacting and filing a complaint with on Monday. In addition to Ford we will consider filing complaints with Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau.Dont believe their lying response to every poor review when they say that this dealership is under new management since then. They are the same despicable lousy managed dealership as per the reviews. We should have believed the reviews too. He was kind, helpful, and generous - the first nice car salesman Ive ever met.The truck was listed on CarGurus at $21,735. It was a great price - but at the end, there was an extra charge of $1,300 for Stargard Vehicle Theft Protection/GPS system. There was no option to take it off because it was already installed in the truck. If that is the case, it should be listed in the original price. $1,300 is a lot of money to be thrown on at the end for a service I never wanted. Im assuming this service is installed on all the vehicles, so just be aware of that if you buy from this dealer. Other than that, Im happy with the service that was provided and especially happy with the salesman Joshua.

Eventually I decided to get a lease instead, and take advantage of the $219 a month Black Friday deal.Originally I was told $219 a month with $199 down. Then the car he showed me and I agreed to buy had a sunroof and would only be $20 more expensive.They run my credit, suddenly $299 a month with $2k down and I would have to pay taxes and fees! I said no! Show me a car that will fall under $219 a month -- they dont have any! I sent her all my information and she was suppose to get back to me once she spoke with the manager. Few days pass no response. I finally got a hold of her and she said she will get back to me because they were busy. I was understanding. 2 days later, I called back and left a message. No response. I called to speak to another person, didnt get his name but he said he was a MANAGER. He didnt seem to be helpful and patient and erupted hung up on me without letting me talk. It seem like because I wasnt interested in purchasing a car or trading in my lease. All I wanted is information regarding my buyout for my lease. Comment: Very underwhelmed with my experience. Purchased the brand new F250 powerstroke over the phone and had the contract “overnighted” to me, which was great. Mind you, the dealership was 400 miles from my residence but they had the truck I wanted.After speaking with the sales manager and texting my sales lady to let them know when I would pick up my pickup, both were a no show when I arrived. My sales lady told me she wanted to be there when I took possession and she had the second “fob”, never answered any calls or texts from me. The truck was washed for what seemed like “longer than it took to build” and was finally handed off to me- - -withONLY ONE FOB! I started to exit the lot and noticed...NO FUEL....after being assured by an associate that it would have a full tank. Not only did they fill it but had to check tire pressure because the dash indicator was on for low tire pressure. DID NOT receive: the standard floor mats (which should come with the vehicle even though I paid for all-weather mats), the adapter for the class 5 tow hitch. Comment: I brought my fusion in for service last week and my car is running great. I love that this place always has good coupons. The new ownership has really cleaned up the place. I noticed the bathrooms are much cleaner and the staff is so much friendlier as well. Ive been coming here for a long time so I decided to introduce myself to the new service manager and he was very personable. I feel like my car is in good hands here. Anyways, I had some of their yummy coffee from their cappuccino machine while I was waiting, read a couple magazines, then watched some netflix. Comment: Just bought a new escape here last week and so far I’m loving it!! I can’t wait to take it out for cute little trips with my friends.. but to the good stuff. Place is clean, staff is very nice, and the whole process was to the point, and I was able to get all the information I needed online. So it was pretty cool to just come in and test drive and just know yes this is my car without having to sit there and negotiate for hours on end. I would highly recommend buying your car here.

The maintenance department is very straight forward and dont try to sell you unnecessary work or products. Ive never had any complaints about the work. Comment: Nearly $2000 for a non-optional security system I didnt want. Another $2000 or so for a service contract I also didnt want. Im not a haggler. I would have happily paid the asking price plus sales tax and DMV fees on the used car I was interested in. I was told that theyd be losing money on the sale without the after market options being added on. I insisted that they surely had paid less for the vehicle than the base price they were asking from me and that they would not truly be losing money, the only money they would be losing is the money they theoretically could have made if I paid what they wanted me to. I walked away from the deal because they refused to let me just pay for the car.I did give three stars because Javier, the salesperson, was awesome. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver. He tried his best to make us happy, but the person he had to answer to wouldnt budge. As far as car dealerships go, it was lovely and pretty much what I expected and if I had wanted their security system and their service contract, everything would have been perfect. However, I had my financing prearranged and the numbers guy just refused to work with me.

Comment: Went in Friday night after work to discuss options for trading in a lease that was ending. Went home and thought about it, called the salesman (Warley) the next morning (who was great) and set an appointment for Saturday, yesterday. Everything was great until the sales manager got involved. He was all over the place on pricing and his sales tactic was to keep us there as long as possible talking gibberish. Totally wasted our time and at a certain point I just got up and excused myself after about 2 hours of listening to his blabbering. at one point he told me Inflation is here and youre going to have to man up and accept a higher payment. The only options he gave us were clear downgrades to the car we already lease at a higher payment. Also, each vehicle they showed us had scratches we had to point out and once we did it was well well give you a deal. I have perfect credit and theres no excuse for this. Also, my wifes lease is up the same month and they would have got a 2nd lease out of us. Right after this I drove to Ford of Montebello and within 2 hours I left with the car we knew we wanted all along. No haggling or bs, they just laid out options and I picked one at an agreeable price. Ive called a couple times to get the sales managers name but they know Im leaving them a bad review and just transfer me to a salesman. Time is valuable, dont waste it here. We got my lease, my wifes lease, and my sister in laws purchase all going through ford of Montebello now because West Covina wanted to make a quick buck.

Came to just check it out and see if it was on sale for that price, their system did have an error at the store however, they were really great to honor their online price. I was helped by Carlos Verdugo, he was really nice and straight forward. I wasn’t planning on purchasing the vehicle that day but I really couldn’t pass on the offer, I had the chance to speak with their General Manager, Johnny Han, he was very down to earth and helpful in so many ways, I truly appreciated it! Their finance guy, Allen, was also so nice I was a bit worried as last time I didn’t feel too comfortable with the guy from before when I signed for my lease, but Allen really made the whole process simple and was really friendly to talk to. Overall, I would definitely come back and deal with these guys, I can’t thank them enough!Came here as a first time buyer, Jesus Maria was truly nice and very helpful. Comment: My extended warranty had just run out and my Transmission was failing miserably. At many shops, the above words would likely accompany a one star review and a whole lot of hating. Thats not how my experience ended though, thanks to service manager Shannon and his team of mechanics though. Shannon was able to fit all my repairs into a recall service.The result was I had a completely new transmission installed in a single day and paid... not one penny. These guys rock! I took it in and they replaced them. Shortly after leaving the windows made a sound as if the window was rolled down. Took it in again and they “fixed” it. Took it in once again for the same reason and for a noise the engine was making. They stated they had to hold on to my car for a month to take a look at it. It was well over 2 weeks and I heard nothing. When I called they haven’t even begun to work on it. I then called to end all work that I would go pick it up. Go to another Ford dealer for service. Comment: So here is my story, I just got a new Ford fusion and I was driving on the I-10w and I blew out my tire on the bad construction done on the freeway. I had my car towed to West Covina Ford because it was the closest dealer and customer service told me to. Since it was Saturday they couldnt work on it until Monday. Monday morning comes and Shannon contacts me about my flat and get permission to fix it. It was done in an hour on mok day which to me is amazing. I get there with my mom who was my ride and Gerardo greeted us and helped us be comfortable. Shannon who is the service manager called the warranty place that covered my tired and was on the phone with them for an hour! Finally everything was good to go and I was on my way. By the time they got to my car they fixed it in ONE day, but they broke the hood latch so I had to go back because I was not going to pay to fix something they broke! It took them another MONTH to complete the task. They tried to charge me extra money but I refused because of the awful service I received. Comment: I drive a company vehicle from ford. I was told I needed to purchase wipers for the vehicle from a ford dealer since it required a special clip. I went in to ask about the process or what i needed to do since it was a company vehicle. Cashier guy was helping someone when I walked in. He was with them for about 20mins. I was waiting patently but a Hello Ill be right with you would of made it a lot of a better wait. At least ignolage the customer and make sure they are waiting in the correct line. Place is pretty big and divided so knowing where to go would be nice. Glad I was in the correct line after waiting 30 mins. Also cashier and team members should be trained on how to handle company Fleet vehicles and knowing how to process the service fleet card. Once he finally went to ask someone they told him how so that was great news. Its a company vehicle like I stated so we arent allowed to service the car or change anything out including windshield wipers ourselves. Everything is done for us and charged to the card /company. Again the cashier guy didnt know how the process went. I pulled up to the service station and was told they could do it for me. The service manager or employee cracked the window and caused it to shatter since arm slammed down without protection well he was swapping wipers out. He was very nice and I felt bad that it happened not sure if there is a safer way or a practice that can be done to protect this from happening again. Maybe a towel or something to protect in case arm slams down on accident. He asked his manager what he needed to do to handle the situation now, Im guessing he told him to take my name and number and vehicle information down and contact an out sourced contractor to replace windshield. The next day the windshield company contacted me about fixing the windshield and scheduled a same day service. Shannon of Ford dealer was nice enough to approve windshield replacement in a timely fashion which was great. I would definitely return to this Ford dealer since they take responsibility and ownership but I would like for them to be brought up to speed with how to process Fleet accounts so that its a much smoother process for us driving company vehicles. Thanks again Ford. Good service once it was all resolved. Remember ignolage customers when they walk in. Helps tremendously.

And also will make sure that, none of my friends or colleagues deal with Ford of West Covina nor their Service Center.Got a vehicle with very poor quality tires, which worn out completely within 1.5 years (with usage only 4-5 times week, that too within 15 miles per day), Battery had to be completely changed in this time, And already showing signs of Engine Issues too. I will only share my experience. For a few weeks I had been emailing an individual on a car I was interested in. They had lowered the price with me. I called in to make an appointment to see the car. The individual was excited, and said theyd have the car ready for me to see when I arrived. I sent them photos of the car I was interested in. When I arrived they immediately showed me multiple cars that were nothing like the photos I shared. I mentioned it to the sales person and they just were really odd. First they said they sold it that morning, then my husband later caught them saying they sold it yesterday...Anyways long story short, they showed be a BASE model in the car I wanted. I became irritated, as there was STAINS all over the front seats, and a kids pink toy in the very back seat. (I wish I would have taken photos it was so sad....) After walking back to the same car I wanted to see the inside. For the 2nd time the salesperson couldnt unlock the back doors...They realized the car battery was DEAD!... I just told my husband it just wasnt the right timing.Though the salesperson at the end was willing to give a lower price I was just checked out... Of course you know the car isnt worth as much as you have it listed for when the stains were so visible and the battery doesnt even workHate to share this, but I will not be recommending this dealership to any family or friend. You cant sell a car or truck in California without a smog!!!!I called yesterday 6/10/2018 to find out where my license plates were for the truck we bought in March. They told me that when service did the smog they forgot the numbers under the hood. (that was back in April)I asked the girl when was someone going to call me and let me know about this?????? She said she didnt fid out about until she ran a report and saw it on there. Comment: Service Center Review: UPDATE: I have only had my car service at this dealer (thinking the dealer would provide best service to my new car). 10 days after my last service my car started making noises so I decided to open the hood. I found out my cars engine coolant was completely empty. Gone! How? They said it could be a leak. I took it back and got it tested. NO LEAKS!. Simply negligence by the technicians, that or they are doing these mistakes on purpose to take advantage of my warranty to charge for additional work. I would like to think its not the latter, but at this point I do not know. They did pay for all the worked needed at no cost to me, but the amount of damage done due to my car running with no coolant, and overheating cannot be determined at this point, as I am sure it will be long-term damage. Comment: After having a recall done here, im literally afraid to drive my car. Ford of West Covina service department is NOT the place you ever want to take your vehicle for service. The technicians are extremely careless and do a poor job. A couple years ago I took my car in for a recall. Not only did they write on the painted finish of my year old vehicle, but they tore it apart and didnt reassemble it correctly. It took LITERALLY months to get them to fix what they had done and it was a complete nightmare. Fast forward to last week. I had yet another recall on my fusion. I figured since it had been a few years, it was safe to return. Wrong. Unfortunately, the inability to reassemble cars is the norm there. After I noticed they did not put the carpeting around my seatbelt back, I had returned to have them fix it. I was already unhappy because this wasnt the first time it had happened. First off, 10 days AFTER they performed the recall, they still hadnt closed the service ticket. So the service writer felt I was at the wrong dealer because her records werent updated. I had to sternly tell her when exactly I had come and that without a doubt it was this dealer who messed upAgain. So they fixed it by shoving the carpet in a crack and calling it a day. So not only couldnt they take the time to do it right the first time, but they couldnt even get it right the second time. I returned and told them it needed to be done correctly. The service writer, Norma, was very apologetic and the only decent experience I had there. If they are unable to reassemble a car, why should I be confident in their ability to perform a recall correctly? I am in the middle of contacting Ford directly asking if I can have it inspected elsewhere because Im actually afraid they did not do the job they were hired to do. At least not correctly. It is absurd that they can possibly get away with this. Since it had happened to me multiple times, I dont doubt it has happened to others as well. They have very poor standards for quality service. To top things off, Norma had informed her manager of my experience and he never once came out to apologize or even send so much as an email. I learned just then that there is no point in complaining to him because he simply doesnt care. Please, for your safety, do not have your car serviced here.

The rims installed on my bran new 2018 Expedition were installed with scratches, we reported the issue right away (the day of the pickup) to the store manager. I was told multiple times by two different managers that the rims would be fixed..........one week later I didn’t hear back from anybody. Me spending money to get this fixed is not the issue, the biggest issue was that the dealership could careless about me once they made there deal/commission! It is what it is but I’ll make sure to never go back and never recommend anybody to that dealer.I text the sales manager I was dealing with mulitple times (still have the text thread on my phone) and didnt hear back, I told myself I would give them one week to get back to.....didnt happen. (The truck and price was advertised on the dealerships website.) A note of caution: The salesman said that all of their vehicles have a security system installed. This is an added cost above the advertised price. When I told them I didnt want it they told me that they would charge me $200 to have it removed. Upon arriving, we were greeted right away, we explained what we were looking for and within minutes we looked at a couple of options, took a test drive and I found the one I loved. Comment: First things first we had a great experience with the two sales guys that helped us out Louie and Andrew I couldnt ask for a better pair of sales guys. Now to the bad part and why I do not recommend anybody buying a vehicle from West Covina Ford. The sales manager Edmund is very rude, pushy, and even threatened me. We started negotiating a deal for a used car and that is when he went from a really nice guy to being very rude. As we were negotiating he told me how hes worked at dealerships where they sell you a warranty that they pay 50% of the repair cost and when they do the work they double the price so in reality you pay for the whole repair cost. He was not happy that we werent buying the warranty and didnt want to pay for a paint protector called PETRA and we had our own financing. Edmund was also very rude to Louie the sales guy in front of me because Louie was getting info from the car for us and not at the negotiating table with him when we had a question about that PETRA he was trying to sell us.(Very unprofessional) After a long negotiation we finally came to an agreement on the price which included a free full tank of gas along with them paying 1/2 for a second key fob since the car only had one. I did a little research and called a few other dealerships and figured that as long as their price falls into the highest and lowest I will be fine. WC Ford was more than double the price. Advantage Ford quoted me $147.00 for the fob and $25.00 for the key that goes inside the fob and to program it $25.00. West Covina Ford quoted me $225 for the Fob and $144.00 to program it (INSANE). I told Edmund thats ridiculous and to give me half of the $197.00(Total Cost Advantage Ford charges) and I will save them and my self money and he said no he will pay half at his dealership. The only thing I can think of is how he said what other dealerships do with their warranty. We started to exchange words as he does not want to hear what I had to say. He also told me to back off or he would drop me so fast as he use to be a wrestler Threat Right. He said I threatened him and we were done. Now my threat was I told him they were not getting a good review on Yelp is that a threat??He also said I better get the hell out of his place but as I know that he is not the owner I said no and went to find the highest level person there at the time. I spoke to Johnny Han he listened to what we had to say and was extremely nice and courteous . He went to talk to the parts and service department and made things right. If it wasnt for Edmund this place would be a 4 to 5 star place. With Edmund at this dealership they not only face the risk or ruining their 40 years of good customer service but they also take a chance of a lawsuit with the threats and Im also concerned since he has access to all my personal information what will he do? I also filed a formal complaint with Ford Motor Corporation.

Comment: Very Disappointing. I do not recommend their service department. Brought my Diesel in for a factory recall only. My truck was running great and had no check engine lights. Just wanted the recall addressed, which was a cam sensor. When I picked my truck up, I noticed it was running extremely rough. The service guy made no mention of anything mechanically wrong with my vehicle other than needed a new ICP sensor. As I pulled onto the road, my truck stalled and would not start. With the assistance of my personal mechanic, he got the truck running and we pulled it back into the dealership. The service department conducted a few minor checks and told me my #4 and #8 cylinders were misfiring. I told them it was not that way when I dropped it off and they told me it was, but failed to mention it when I picked it up. After days of going back and forth, I decided to take it elsewhere. When I picked it up, I waited 35 minutes to get the truck to find out they lost my keys. They said they would have new keys made and delivered the following day. They failed to get it done the following day and called me minutes before they closed. Very unhappy and poor customer service.

Comment: Extremely friendly service department. Have been here several times without an appointment and they are able to get my oil changes done and even my front brakes. They also take the time for a courtesy wash, which is a plus. Comment: Go to this dealership first! These people are absolutely amazing and really worked hard to find the best possible deal for me and my wife. Our sales associate was Kyle Matthews who is very knowledgeable about F-250 super duties, extremely professional, and very courteous. Even after we shook hands and paper work was being drawn up, they were still looking for extra rebates to help lower the price. They even called us THE NEXT DAY to offer another deal to lower our payment a couple more dollars. If you are looking to buy a Ford I highly recommend this dealership as my wife and I had a great experience and we drove away feeling we received the best possible deal. To compare, we had been to another Ford dealership in the SoCal area just the day before looking at the same style F-250s and that dealership did not even try to meet our budget. However, the people at Ford of West Covina worked extremely hard to find the rebates and finance plan that got us the vehicle we wanted.

My husband was able to take advantage of the 72 months at 0% and we got a good deal on our new Mustang. They have a wide selection of cars to choose from, new and used. The whole experience (after making a deal) was surprisingly fast, the finance guy was nice and quick. The general manager, Carlos was very friendly and helpful. Comment: I was hesitant to bring my new Ford Fusion to Ford of West Covina due to my past history with the previous owners of this place but I decided to try it out since its so convenient to my home. I got a basic oil change and had them do a 10k service. Also, the engine light had went on and so I had them take a look at that issue. In the past anytime I would walk out of getting my car serviced it was like I would walk out with another problem on my car. This time the service manager really knew what the issue was right off the bat. He took care of the issue within about 4hrs so awesome! Im glad I gave it a second chance. Thsnk goodness for new ownership, and professional employees!

Comment: Honestly the personnel cannot be better. My salesperson Bianca Padilla did an outstanding job in helping me and my family buy our ford explorer from WC Ford. Awesome with my kids and made us feel very at home and comfortable and just wasnt just your typical cookie cutter car salesperson. For our kids it was a good experience and my wife liked her she was extremely knowledgeable with the vehicles she was showing to us and that impressed my wife. Awesome salesperson. Michael Hernandez, very great at breaking the bad news about numbers but fought hard and we got the deal. No complaints and you are good to go. Finally Allen Bitar, Outstanding also and you show that you are not just a guy going about trying to make numbers but someone that looks for repeat business and making friends. Stand up guy! So the only kinda negative thing here was not getting a full tank and the not to well cleaned up vehicle upon delivery. I took the time to do it when I got home. But other than that WC Ford is Veteran friendly and gets the job done. See Bianca, she put in 8 hours with us over a two day period. Good job and thank you.

On top of giving us a great deal on the car, he also met the car payments I wanted, no question asked! (My credit wasnt amazing so this was a big deal for me!). Unfortunately, there were issues and the car I signed for had already been sold. Comment: This has been one of the worst dealerships I have every dealt with. My company was in the market for a vehicle and after approval to purchase I found a used vehicle online at Ford of West Covina on December 23rd. After reaching out to them about purchasing, two of my coworkers drove out on December 29th from Long Beach to fill out the necessary paperwork. after requesting proof that we could purchase for our company they turned us away since they did not have a statement showing they had legal power of attorney for our company. My boss reached out several times over several days and kept being bounced between different staff each being as unhelpful as the next. Finally on January 7th, my boss tells me to go speak to Jose Sanchez who was to be in charge of our purchase. I called in advance that morning to confirm what paperwork I would be needing to bring and to find a time on when would be best to show up. After scheduling a meeting at 12:15PM, I drove down there, arriving at 12PM. When I arrived I asked for Jose who apparently had just left to do work elsewhere but was told someone else would be able to help me. After finding another staff member to help me I told him who I was and where I was from and what I was there for. He went back into the sales office and then a minute or two later came back out saying he had good news and bad news. bad news, they sold the van to a couple sitting at a table a few feet from mine. good news, they had brand new ones that it I wanted to spend the extra $15k on they could help me into. I was rather upset by this as we had been attempting to purchase this thing since before Christmas, several staff knew this and had even scheduled the appointment specifically for that vehicle just for them to sell it out from under me. We will never go back and I will share this with anyone looking to buy a Ford, specifically from West Covina

Comment: I just bought a new Focus from Ray, who was super helpful, courteous and real. He gave me his cell number and answered a ton of my questions the week before I came in to buy a car. This was the first time Ive been to a car dealer and didnt leave feeling disgusted with how I was treated. The West Covina dealership is super clean and well-lit and was festively decorated for the holidays. Several of the guys there said hello and checked in to see how I was doing, and offered me water and coffee. It was dark and raining when all the paperwork was signed, and Ray went the extra mile and escorted me home. Thats good customer service!

Comment: I was pretty disappointed in the service here. I routinely took my car in for oil changes and general maintenance. I had an internal issue with my backseat getting stuck in the flattened position. It was still covered under the general warranty, so I brought it in. This dealership is fairly new to my area, and was very convenient since it was between my home and office. I dropped off my car and was told that they would let me know by noon what the status of the repair would be. I didnt receive any call, and ultimately called in at 5:30pm to see what the status was. They informed me that the guy that was helping me left for the day, and that they ordered a part for the car, which wouldnt arrive for 4-5 days... and they closed at 6pm. I had to agree with them leaving my car in the parking lot, with the keys in it in order to have a car to pick up my 3 kids. I drove in 5 days later since no one called me. They didnt have the part. I finally received a call from a different guy from Service, and he was nice enough to tell me the part had arrived. I showed up the next morning to drop off the car. They mentioned that the part wasnt in yet, but should be later that day. So, I left the car. I received a call in the afternoon, informing me that they need to order another part, and that they need the car for an additional day. They comped me for a rental, which was small, and did not accommodate me, my 3 small childrens car seats and my wife. I figured we would make do for the day/night. The next afternoon, I received another call informing me that they needed to order, yet another part... so they need to keep my car for another two days. I was very frustrated, but stuck in the situation I was in. I received my paperwork, and somehow there was 15 miles put on my car for the 3 days it was in the shop. This was not a mechanical issue... but for a back seat getting stuck in the downward position. 15 miles! For the past 2 weeks, I have tried to reach the Service Manager... with no calls back. I even received a call from Ford Corporate as a courtesy call... when I told them what happened, they said they couldnt do anything about it, but they would let the Service Manager at West Covina Ford know to call me. Still no call. My wife and I were about to trade in her 2007 Edge for a newer model, but looks like well go back to Citrus Ford in Ontario where I got my Explorer in the first place. West Covina Ford has definitely lost my business.
