Wanted to share my experience with pet passages. Very polite and professional place to have your fur baby cared for by true and caring pet lovers. My wife and I were very pleased with the service provided. We know the remains of our shih ztu is home with us. We will use there service again for our other shih ztu. I was beyond devastated when I lost my 16 yr old Dog Zeek. I cant say enough how wonderful they were to me & no words can express my gratitude of how they treated Zeek. They were compassionate kind patiet and so respectful in handling Zeek. They made one of my worst days a little more bearable. They truely are the Best of the Best.
They were truly amazing very helpful and they really do know what it means to lose a member of the family thank you so much triggers family ❤️
Earlier this month, my precious girl Nova passed away. Bob was at my home in less than two hours, and everything was explained and I was kept updated through every step of her passage. Less than 24 hours later, I had a beautifully engraved wooden box for her remains and a keepsake pressing of her pawprints in special foam that is kinder on their little paws than clay and takes a better impression. I am so very grateful that I have such wonderful keepsakes to remember Nova by. If your friend crosses the rainbow bridge, I cant recommend Pet Passages, Livonia, MI enough. Bob and Wendy took such excellent care of us, and Nova was treated with dignity and tenderness. I dont wish this on anyone, but if it happens, I can honestly say that this can help you take a step toward closure and give you a touchstone for your mourning, as it has for me.
I cannot say enough good things about the services that Pet Passages offers. Wendy and Bob are truly caring folks who made a really difficult process as easy as it could have possibly been. I’m so glad they were there for us and would recommend them for anyone who is in need of end of life services for their beloved pets.
Bob and Wendy were absolutely wonderful in the entire process of my little cats cremation. They both truly comforted me and everything was quick and little girl was back home before I knew it in a beautiful box. And a packet of wildflowers to plant in her honor in the spring. I am very grateful for the service I was provided. Definitely above and beyond.
What a blessing this place was!! Lost my girl Macy one week ago and was referred here by a friend! Had originally scheduled her euthanasia at the vet but last minute my son couldn’t make it - they made it happen so we could be there as a family to peacefully say goodbye to our beloved pet after 13 years! Toughest thing I’ve ever done but the staff/owners were amazing and so patient! I knew my girl was in good hands as we left! I was also concerned about the price and could not believe how affordable it was! She will be forever in our hearts and now finally can rest on the table!
I cannot express in words what my family and I feel about Pet Passages. From the time she picked up our phone call to the time we picked up our beloved babys remains, Wendy has been the most compassionate, caring, and soothing part of our Diesels passing. We never felt rushed and Pet Passages even gave us the opportunity to place him into the cremation chamber ourselves and perform all his final rites to our satisfaction. Wendy and Bob own the place and personally saw to our every comfort. May their good karma through treating strangers as family and not just a number in a business equation give them joy and happiness throughout their lives. What a blessing we found them! 💞
After some thinking and looking around, my wife and I were really glad to have found them. Their mantra of dignified services is absolutely true. We didnt know how to handle the final services of our dwarf rat Jelly and they took their time to find out and ensure us that she will not be alone in her last moments.Having separate rainbow rooms is very well thought out.And it doesnt end there! They have MANY options of thoughtful post cremation services/memorabilia that will forever be cherished.Truly adore their services.Thank you for all that you do
My mom lost her dog and it really broke her heart. My associate found this place from us just calling around and I’m so happy he did. Ms. Wendy treated us with so much respect and sympathy. The experience and the atmosphere was beautiful. I was so impressed by the service we received I left a small donation to help another family in need. The prices are so affordable I was surprised. I will be letting all my friends and family know where to go if they lost an animal and want to get them cremated. Thank you for the professional services that you gave us.
After a couple weeks of struggling, I had to make the painful decision to let my baby girl go. Making one of the hardest decisions was already a heartbreaking burden, the thought of trying to coordinate aftercare while dealing with the flood of emotions seemed huge. On short notice, we gave Bob a call and he went out of his way to make a terrible time just a little easier. He coordinated with the in-home vet and arrived to assist shortly after the procedure was completed. The respect and understanding that Bob has for our furry family members is undeniable. He took his time to offer his sincere sympathies, explained everything carefully, treated my pup with the utmost respect and gave us all the time we wanted to say goodbye. There was no rush even though it was late in the evening. My pups remains were ready to come home the next day. When I picked them up Bob provided a kind ear for conversation and even offered to help put me in touch with breeders and rescue groups when the time was right. I hope the day you need Pet Passages services is far off, but when you do make sure you call them. The phrase its just a dog doesnt exist here.
Pet Passages is a wonderful place. My Moms dog passed away just over the weekend and I contacted them to pick him up. Both Wendy and Bob are the nicest people Ive talked to during this rough time. They did a wonderful job with memorializing Brutus and my mom was very happy with the wonderful work they did too. Were still grieving, but this place is wonderful and they will take wonderful care of your pets.
They are the nicest most compassionate people Ive met. They are so sympathetic and consoling and its definitely not an act. They are amazing. I highly highly recommend them to everyone who lost a loved one (pet).
I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with Pet Passages. As my kitty of almost 18 years was preparing to leave I started looking on line for a cremation service. I wanted my ashes back, this was extremely important to me. I called my vet and they said I had to go through their cremation place but on line it said you get A private compartment, and that is NOT what I call private. If they do not say the words private it is not. I called another vet and they said that while they do have their own cremation service they would allow Pet Passages to pick up my kitty. Bob was wonderful enough to drive up right away and everything was done professionally and with respect. I would strongly recommend them and never let your vet tell you that you have to go through their cremation place. Go with Pet Passages, you and your pet deserves it!
We just passed a year since my cat Benjamin passed. I will be forever heartbroken but, I can say that I am forever grateful for the service Pet Passages provided. When we brought him to them the next morning from the animal hospital, it was a proper way to grieve and say our goodbye in the Rainbow Room instead of the last moment with him being in a sterile room. We never felt rushed either. I am forever grateful to Pet Passages for their kind and caring nature with us. It was greatly appreciated.
We lost our doodle bugs yesterday morning. She went in her sleep. She was 17 years old and she was tried. My husband called the first place yesterday morning and they were amazing. Caring and understanding. I picked Dixie up today and it killed me, but again they had a heart as big as the world. Thank you for the care you showed our girl. We will be forever grateful.
When we found out that our cat Binx had cancer and that it was only a matter of time until his time came, we were devastated. Sure enough, he passed a few weeks later. Although we were expecting it, it wasn’t any easier; I hadn’t made any arrangements for him, though I should have. He passed away on Mother’s Day and I searched “pet cremations” not thinking that anyone would be available. I called Pet Passages and they were available to us within the hour. I packed up my boy and they accepted him in without any problems. The man I spoke to in person and the woman over the phone were both extremely sympathetic as I spoke while crying and with a shaky voice and made this process easier than I could have ever imagined. They offered us to spend time with our Binx in their rainbow room (a “last goodbye” room, if you will). Just like any close relative, they asked about Binx and we told stories and relived the memories of him once more through them. The urn box we chose, which I believe is the standard box, is very nice and for only $15 more, we were able to get his paw prints engraved on the outside of the box by his name. Not only that but they also included a letter that was so touching and was meant to be “from the other side of the rainbow bridge” it brought tears to all of our eyes. I would definitely recommend Pet Passages to anyone. They also only took a few business days, as they stated to me it would be, to be able to pick up his ashes.
I cant say enough about Bob and Wendy at Pet Passages. They were so kind and compassionate. They didnt rush us in our decisions. They made us feel confident that our sweet Nessie was being handled with care. The box she was returned to us in is a beautiful cherry stained wood with her name engraved, and the foam pawprint turned out so well. Im so glad we went with them to memorialize our precious girl.We have another aging dog at home and when the time comes, theres no question well choose Pet Passages again.
Bob was amazing, Every part of this heartbreaking day, was made a little easier knowing the care that was taken with my sweet boy was with respect and dignity. The reason I went this way, was because years ago, I had to put one of my other beloved pus to sleep. I stayed with her the entire time, however I was rushed away from her because they needed the room, which was a horrible feeling. My husband thought I had spent over $1000.00 - which he never balked at. Pet passages was much less than that even with the extras I purchased. I highly recommend them.
Pet Passages took care of our beloved Bentley a little over a year ago and did the same for my beautiful GranDog Belle yesterday. When my Daughter made the most difficult decision of her life that it was time for Belle to cross the rainbow bridge, Pet Passages was automatically her choice to take care of her baby girl. Bob is that wonderful, compassionate person you need and can trust during one of the hardest times in your life. I wish I could give Pet Passages 100 stars because they would deserve ever last one of them.
The gentlemen at Pet Passages made our sad experience so much more comforting. Due to an accident, our beloved cat passed unexpectedly and tragically. We have a 7 year old whose bond was like any other so this passing was very hard for our little family. Not only did Bob make it possible for us to say our goodbyes, he helped our son learn about the rainbow bridge so that he could feel some kind of comfort during this sad time. We received a wonderful box engraved with our pets name and a foot print keepsake. We are so impressed with their professionalism, fast service and their genuine concern for those grieving their pets. Not to mention the price is almost too good to be true! Would recommend this place to anyone who has lost a pet. They are truly wonderful!
Wendy and Bob provided professional yet compassionate services during our most difficult time. Wendy arranged for Dr Fish to come to our home and Bob transported our Monti after his passing. Monti was covered in purple blankets and transported via stretcher to the van. It was very dignified and my family was allowed the time we nreded to say goodbye. We were provided clear details and all questions answered. Monti was returned to us in the same manner. Pet passages offers all the services a pet family could ask for. A beautiful setting, many affordable options and packages, care and compassion. I highly recommend their services. Wendy even waited for us in the evening after hours so we could bring Monti back home.Thank you Eendy, Bob and Pet Passages for your service to our family and so many others.
Pet Passages was a service that I was completely new to. They really went above and beyond to ensure that although my pup was being cremated that I was with him every step of the way. I will always keep this company in mind moving forward... very nice and compassionate owners.
My husband and I recently lost our sweet girl Molly after having her over 16 years. Bob and Wendy could not have been kinder or more compassionate, and did everything they could to make a very difficult time a little easier. Being able to keep track of Molly while in their care was very comforting and they had her ready to return home quickly. Her cherry wood box is beautiful and the engraving is perfect. Very reasonably priced as well which isnt the main reason we went to them, but it helped. If you want your fur baby treated with the utmost respect, I highly recommend Pet Passages.
My name is Lynda, and I brought my fur baby there the night after he passed away in my arms. These 2 (the owners) were beyond my expectations! I felt at home, I could cry, I heard their experiences on why they do what they are passionate about! After receiving a grim prognosis for my dog Roxy, I began making arrangements for her to cross over. I received a recommendation from a friend and contacted the wonderful people at Pet Passages. We received an incredible amount of support and comfort as to several options on how to let her go. Even though the owners were out of town when I had to make the final decision, they made arrangements for another owner to meet me at the facility on a Saturday evening at 8pm.Everyone at the location was comforting to me and my other dogs as I believe its important for animals to be a part of letting go of a family member. I was able to spend as much time as I needed to say my goodbyes. (although never enough)When picking up her cremains she was memorialized beautifully with a cherry wood box, foam paw print, nose print and a heart of seeds I could plant in my garden in her memory. I honestly felt much better seeing how caring they were on behalf of my animal.Thank you Pet Passages for your touching tribute and support to those of us that will forever remember the loss of a family member. If I could I would give 10 stars!

If you’re looking for a place who will treat you and your pet with the upmost respect, this is the place for you. I am so incredibly thankful to have come across Pet passages and I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to take care of my precious Goldie. From start on the phone I expressed my concerns with Bob that I was feeling uneasy about being unaware I wouldn’t be getting my pets ashes with semi private. He made me feel at ease assuring me that I would be and explained the steps to me as well. Bob and his wife are so understanding, just really the nicest people I’ve ever come across. They understood my heart break, and exchanged stories with me about their dog who passed as well. We were offered the “Rainbow room” to say our final goodbyes, where they set up your pet comfortably in a private room, covered in a blanket like they are sleeping. I’m so thankful that they offered this to me because it helped my grieving process by being able to kiss and pet my baby one last time. Bob & his wife are also extremely compassionate and considerate, they worked with me for a time i was able to come pick up her ashes, as i was unable to the day she was ready. They made sure to be there for me so i was able to come get her even on their busy days. I can’t thank them enough for doing something that meant more than the entire world to me and i highly recommended them to everyone.
There are no words to explain how grateful i am to have found pet passages! Bob and Wendy are absolutely amazing. Literally probably some of the kindest people I have ever met. Not only are they very reasonably priced, they are so compassionate. Wendy came and got our dog from our home and he was ready to be pick up the next day. If you ever suffer the loss of a pet, I highly recommend using their services. Its hard, but they really care and you will be supporting a small business rather than a bigger one that basically just wants to take your money and rush you the entire time. Went to them to help with my sweet girl Meredith. They were so incredibly nice, I could tell my baby was in good hands. I used a rainbow room to say my see you later to my sweet kitty and she said the wrap the animals in purple cause it it a royal color, which made my heart smile even in passing this life she is treated like royalty. Definitely only going to them when there’s a animal passing. I felt great comfort and they asked her name and kept referring to her as her name. Definitely amazing people there.
In the worst day of my life I chose to use pet passages and Im glad I did. My baby boy was treated with the upmost respect. After cremation he was placed into a velvet or suede bag with the saying on it until we meet at the Rainbow Bridge and that was placed into a beautiful cherry wooden box. Capones name was beautifully engraved on the top. The Paw and nose print came out absolutely perfect. I highly recommend the foam paw print as it comes out absolutely perfect and beautiful. The tracking system that they offer is top of the line and a wonderful peace of mind. I highly recommend pet passages Bob and Wendy are truly amazing they honor everything and take pride in their work. You will always have my business thank you again pet passages you are the best
Over the past 30 years I have attended cremations for a total of 5 dogs, 17 cats, and four human loved ones. I have used several facilities in southeastern Michigan, and as with most businesses, some better than others. When it comes to the loss of a loved one (human or pet) I dont think looking for a better business is what you need to be doing during your time of grief. Sadly, its true. Pet cremation is unregulated, and I have come across several whose main focus is capitalizing on your grief. I had a company local to me which I have been using for the past 13 years with no issue, until last week. I called for an appointment to have an attended cremation and the price I was quoted was more than DOUBLE what I paid last year for the same service, same size animal. All I wanted was my usual... to be able to witness my pet going in and then be able to come back a couple hours later and pick him up. So, I started calling around. The prices were all over the map, some places said they would let me watch, some said that regulations prohibited me from attending (NOT TRUE) and frankly I felt as if I were being given a sales pitch over the phone. When I got to calling Pet Passages I was so relieved to speak with the owner, Bob Sutton, as right away he listened to what I needed, said it was no problem, and the price was exactly in line with what I know it should be. My daughters and I went today to attend Christophers cremation, and hands down it was the smoothest, most compassionate cremation experience I have had. Bob and his wife Wendy are wonderful, and they run a very transparent business and are happy to show you around, no secrets. They are completely willing to accommodate pet owners and what they need to facilitate the grieving process. Two and a half hours after dropping off Christopher we had him in his velvet bag, inside of a box already engraved with his name, his paw print, a nice informative folder, and some wildflower seeds to plant next spring. Human cremations are not anything close to this experience, and that is such a shame. Thank you Bob and Wendy, for allowing me to acquire the closure I needed in the way I needed to do it. And thank you for your genuine compassion and respect, as it is overwhelmingly appreciated. Bless you both.
So compassionate. The loss of our Sadie was devastating to us. Sadie was such an enormous part of our daily lives and such a comfort to us, we did not know how we could get through this loss. Bob and Wendy were so understanding of our situation and help carry us through our grief. They understood how important it was for us to get her home again and they made it happen. Sadly, we were back two weeks later with the unexpected death of my daughter and grand-daughters pooch. Again, the same level of amazing service and compassion, with special attention to my young grand-daughters grief. I am so grateful to them both. I couldnt fathom better experience in making arrangments for my recently departed cat. After almost 15 years with my cat, I was devastated to lose him to kidney failure. It was expected but incredibly traumatic. I discovered Pet Passages around the time my cats health started to decline and decided this was who I wanted to take care of my boy.He passed away suddenly on Labor Day. Due to it being a holiday, I had planned to call Pet Passages and bring him to them the next morning. Bob answered the phone on Labor Day and came to MY home on a holiday within the hour. I was amazed. He was so caring in explaining my options, he took wonderful care of my cat. He brought a very symbolic blanket that happened to be my favorite color. He let me decide what I wanted, and I immediately received a condolence email with a link to an incredible pet parent portal. I received frequent, time stamped updates of the entire process with the convenience of paying online. I received a text next day (super fast!) stating that he was ready to come home.Bob showed me everything, making sure I was happy, and made me feel like the only customer in the world. Bob and Wendy took the stress and planning out of the equation. I cannot thank them enough for providing me with such immense closure and ease in my grieving process. You truly make a difference. You have considered details that make a huge difference, with so much thought and care. Im not going to be able to say enough about this place. Honestly, if youre looking for a cremation service for your departed friend, I doubt it gets any better than this. I wholeheartedly recommend them for their outstanding service to me and my pets today. These people are the most genuine and caring people Ive met in a long time, and that does my heart good to know that theyre here to make a difference.I was allowed to watch and ask questions, which was so immensely helpful to me and brought me some well needed closure. Everything was clean, the surroundings were welcoming and calm, and everything smelled good. Their urn is gorgeous and reminds me of scales. They now sit next to my dog Embers in our room.My darling fish were treated respectfully and with honour. So many people dont care about fish because they think theyre disposable and not living, feeling creatures. It was something I was worried about happening, like an offhand remark belittling them or thinking this was too much for fish, but that never happened, they were equals to any other pet, and for that they have my utmost gratitude.I appreciated the small talk and hearing about their sweet departed Lulu, it honestly made the process easier to hear his personal testimony with loss - something so simple as missing the clack of her nails on the floor resonated so deeply with me because thats something I missed when my own dog passed. Grief is such a human emotion, and everyone experiences it differently, but just listening to him talk about her lets me know that he understands that theyre family.The legacy animals leave behind is only told in the memories of those that knew them, but at least we can share the experience with others that understand the impact. I know Lulu would be proud of them.
I called for a family member who had just lost their pet on Christmas Eve, they were so kind in staying until they were able to get there, and gave them time to say goodbye. They did a beautiful job! I am forever grateful for their kindness, compassion and wonderful job they did for them. They also provide a nice price range and selection of services. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of their services.
This is not a review a human ever wants to write. Yesterday was the most heart breaking day of my life. Bob came through first thing in the morning and took such great care of our biscuit. He showed compassion knowing how difficult it was for us to speak or make decisions. He wasn’t pushy with up selling. We requested the whole package for our best boy and it was very affordable. Even though it wasn’t offered I did request a nose print. Biscuit is a hound dog after all. Bob was more than happy to do that for us. The process was very easy to track on their web site and to our surprise we were able to bring biscuit home that afternoon. Everything came back beautifully done. This was a very hard review to write and I’m absolutely broken but I needed to say thank you to bob for being there during this difficult time.
Pet Passages Livonia provided my best pal a dignified and caring aftercare experience. The owners are directly involved, they answered all my questions and were very patient as I struggled through the process. They came to my house after a scheduled at-home euthanasia and helped me navigate an extremely emotional situation. I would recommend them to anyone looking for aftercare and/or memorial items for their beloved pet.
Pet passages has done the most amazing job and at a wonderful price. Even price shopping ahead and with other offers I choose them because of how much they cared about me and my bunker. Out of everything that happened at the end of his life this was the most easiest to handle and all thanks to them I will recommend them to everyone and have started to talk to my boss about them as well. The price was completely reasonable and I got everything I wanted to thank you all so much cant be more then joyed with all you have done
I had the misfortune of needing a cremation service on the 4th of July this year. My moms beloved Huey passed suddenly and very unexpectedly. Bob was so so very kind and helpful. He treated our Huey with the utmost resepect and reassured us of what he would be doing with our baby thru out the whole process. He even including some reading material for the kids and grandkids at home to help with the grieving. We were so greatful for his kindness and help on a holiday and short notice much less. We rest assured our baby was treated properly with love. I highly recommend this bussiness to any loving pet owner.

We came home on Saturday to find our Lucy Girl had past away. This was shocking, we had just left 3 hrs. Our hearts were in disbelief and broken. I was referred to Pet Passages. Bob came out to our home on Sunday to get her. Lucy was treated with such respect and dignity as he removed her from our home. Thank you. And I will be so Happy when I bring our Lucy Girl home.

Pet Passages, and particularly Bob, Wendy and Scott, transformed one of a pet parents worst moments (death of a beloved fur kid), into a very touching and heartfelt experience. I was very impressed when I read about how Pet Passages came to existence, and when Bob explained the entire process to me. Every step of the process is well thought out and with both the pet and “owner” in mind. Each animal is assigned an ID and you can follow their journey through the Pet Passages journey. The amount of care from start to finish is just incredible, and Pet Passages is clearly a thoughtful leader in the pet death ‘industry’, for lack of a better term. It is abundantly clear that Bob, Wendy and Scott are passionate about animals and their caretakers, and treated Hansel and I with such love and respect.The love and care that the Pet Passages - Livonia team put into each “client” experience is above and beyond what anyone may expect after the loss of a pet. I was kept well informed of what was going on with my beloved Hansel, from letting me know when they had arrived at the vet to pick up Hansel, to when they had him in their care, and when he would be ready for me to bring him home for the last time.Sadly, this is not my first experience with pet death. The memorial products that Pet Passages has to offer were so amazing. The clay paw print made me cry the minute that I saw it, and the small paw keepsake urn was lovely.When the time comes again, as it inevitably will, without a doubt, I will use Pet Passages - Livonia again.
Mr. Bob was very compassionate. We had made arrangements with only 1 days noticed. Bailey was euthanized at home in the comfort of her own bed with her loved ones surrounding her.Mr. Bob arrived 1 hour after Baileys passing.He was kind enough to allow me to witness the beginning process of her cremation. The whole process took about 90mins. I was able to leave and come back just before it was finished. He put Baileys ashes in a beautiful wooden box with her name engraved on top. Mr. Bob is compassionate and he cares about the dignity of your pet.

Our familys beloved Shih-Poo Papa lost his battle with a vestibular disease recently. We were referred to Pet Passages by our vet friends at Unleashed Pet Care. Papas condition progressed so fast, we had a matter of moments before putting him down to make post-care arrangements. We were devastated, and didnt really know what to expect. Bob answered our call, and not only took a moment to empathize, but was there at the neurology vet within a half hour of Papas transition to pick him up so we didnt have to take that heart wrenching drive. Its some folks preference to drive their pet to post-care services, but in my case, i couldnt bear seeing Papa like that a moment longer. That prompt and respectful accommodation alone meant the world to our family, but the thoughtful accomodations just kept rolling in. It was an overwhelmingly supportive experience from the condolence text message telling us to take all the time we needed, to the website walking us through the grievance process and offering various options to honor our loved one, to the warm welcome extended to us when we came to pick him up. The transparency they offered was not only comforting, but educational and therapeutic. We opted to tour the facility, and i couldnt be more impressed with the level of care and professionalism they put into their process. The personalized products were beautiful, and heartwarming. They treated us like family and truly set a standard for service, which is the most you can hope for when grappling with the passing of someone special. If youre looking for more of a professional and intimate experience, Pet Passages has your back.
Truly compassionate and understanding, this was our experience with Bob, the owner (met Scott as well, also very nice). We had to dig up our pups remains from years ago, which proved more stressful than I had expected. We didnt know Bob personally, but even just by phone, he was with us through the entire ordeal, taking my frantic calls and trying to help in any way he could. That was incredibly comforting. I now think of him as a funeral director for pets, on par with funeral directors for humans, and funeral directors are very special people.Reasonable price, prompt service, and caring folks for our furry family members. No complaints whatsoever but lots of gratitude for Pet Passages being there, so glad to have found them.
Last Friday, we lost our beloved Meggy Moo. We were unsure of where we should take her, as we had recently moved. I contacted Bob at Pet Passages, and he was very kind and understanding. He laid Meggy out for me to have one last visit with her. He was very kind and compassionate, and I thought their services were top notch. He honored my request of making sure that he got a quality ink paw print that I can use for a tattoo. He even sent me a picture as soon as he took it to make sure that I approved. She came home, and I am sure that the ashes that we received definitely belong to Meg. Thank you taking wonderful care of our fur baby during this difficult time.

So last week we were forced to have to euthanize our first pet, our cat Coco was diagnosed with intestinal cancer and there was no saving him!!! I called Bob the morning we were scheduled to put our beloved Coco down and he was EXTREMELY NICE and comforting even though I could barely speak from being upset...he came and picked up our Coco and waited extra till we said our final goodbyes to our Coco and for that and his service and help we will be forever grateful....THANK U SO MUCH BOB AND WENDY!!! I loved everything that Pet Passages did for us and our cat. She unexpected got sick with cancer and had to put her to sleep. Pet passages worked with us as we went back and forth with putting her to sleep. Our family loved one Bunk, and Skittles Cat (she had several names 🙂🙂) passed away at 11 years old. She was mean, spiteful, and loving all at the same time, But she was family. I highly I mean highly recommend pet passages. These fine gentlemen that worked with me helped me in every step of the process and took time to really walk me through every step and keep me informed of everything. They were there right away when I had to sadly euthanize my dog. They picked her up right from the vet and took her to their facility. I chose the truly private remembrance package and I was not disappointed at all. The box the ashes cake in was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for a better experience in such a hard time for myself and my wife. They really took the time to check up on my personal health because I somehow ended up needed an emergency surgery the same day I had to put my dog down. They gladly worked with my mother that had to take my dog up to the vet. These two gentlemen were absolutely amazing and felt like family. Thank you Bob and Scott!
I cant say enough good things about this company. Bob and Wendy are warm and personable. They made me feel like I was in the best hands, and were quick to get my bird back home.Wendy encouraged us to use the Rainbow Room which was totally unexpected, and such a nice way to say some final goodbyes.Losing a pet is extremely tough and, like Bob told me, they were able to make the landing a little bit softer. I felt like family immediately, and highly recommend seeing them if you find yourself in the horrible situation of the loss of your pet.
I lost Nunu, a six-year-old golden retriever, to cancel, which is so gut-wrenching for my family. I contacted Pet Passage and they were very prompt, supportive, and understanding. The service is dignifying and humanizing. They are nice people and Im glad Nunu spent his remaining life with them. Although I wish Id never seen them, I think I made such a right decision to have them handle my beloved boy.
Recently had to put a beloved animal down, and looking for a reasonable cremation facility I quickly learned that nobody in the pet cremation business cared, every place I called show zero empathy and 100% business. Prices were ridiculous and then I found Pet Passages. Calling and talking to Bob was so different than any other call I made, he was very apologetic and made me feel like he actually cared about his work. He walked me through all of the packages and pricing was very reasonable. Picked up from the Vet and kept me updated the whole time. Very personal and polite and beyond friendly. Engraved the Urn I had for my pet and even took the time to Pledge it so it was clear of finger prints. Going through a loss isn’t never easy but dealing with Bob and Scott at Pet Passages made it all much more manageable. Would recommend this businesss to anyone who is in the market for a pet cremation. Great work guys
My dog was hit by a car that ran from the scene. I called them at almost 12 and was surprised someone answered. The owners were very nice and sweet and made the process go by so much smoother. We got the Remembrance package which included the the cremation as well as a paw print and nose print. We opted in for the paw print in the ceramic/clay circle. Not quite sure what it is called. I really hope we don’t have to see them for a very very long time but when the sad time arrives again I will definitely take them here. I really wanna thank you guys for what you did for us and what you do for pet lovers in general. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
A family in the City had a horrible fire and lost two of their fur family. Fires are a traumatic event and losing your loved fur babies is makes it more devastating. I reached out the Lucky Dog who contacted you for assistance. You came out later that morning and picked them up. This place is beyond amazing. When the Vet told me $400 to have my doxie cremated and returned i didnt know what to do along with the vet bill. Bob and Scott made the worst of times better and affordable. I paid $110 to have my dog cremated and returned in a engraved wooden urn and his paw print along with the rainbow bridge poem. They even wrapped him in a purple blanket and put him in a beautiful veiwing room for my family to say there final good byes. Bob and Scott were very professional, honest, and good people. Im really glad i found this place. Thank you for your kindness. I really recommend Pet Passages to anyone who loses there animal.
Bob was so kind and considerate after our sweet Jossie passed. He picked her up at the vet and was ready to return her to us within 24 hours. This is a great alternative to the crematorium that all of the vets seem to use. We spent quite a bit less with Pet Passages than we did previously with the other facility and felt Bob really understood what we were going through. I will use Pet Passages Livonia when faced with this unfortunate event again in the future.
Pet passages was absolutely perfect with everything I needed. I called late at night the first night and was answered right away. Bob was very respectful and showed he truly cared about the situation from start till finish. Bob and his staff were the best I could’ve hoped for glad I called them.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Pet Passages. I called other companies but between the reviews & just talking to Bob I knew I needed to choose them. My Bula was put to sleep at home and within 30 minutes Bob was there to pick her up and by the next day I had her ashes in a beautiful, engraved box and her paw print. My rabbit Buttons passed away of old age and I brought her here. I had called several places and they wouldnt do it because she was a rabbit. This place agreed no problem and got that even though she wasnt a cat or a dog, she was still my baby. Laying her out in her own little viewing room was amazing. It was a better way to see her before I got her back. The price was good and I appreciated them holding onto her til I could get the money cause of financial problem at the time. I got her back in a beautiful case in a bag tucked in. The heart which can be planted, her paw print, the whole 10 yards for great price. I will recommend this place to anyone who loses a pet, and I will come back in the sad event my other rabbit passes cause of how well everything was done here.

It is always so difficult to lose any member of your family. The people at Pet Passages were there for me. I was blown away by everything. The paw print, engraved box, and flowers to plant were better than I had ever expected. There is no comparison to what I have received in the past after letting my Vets (no shade to any Vet, just a big difference)office take care of it.
I want to thank Bob and Wendy for the compassion for our loss of our beautiful cockapoo Sadie who was 13 years old. Its with sadden hearts that our beloved Shadow passed away Saturday. I didnt know where to start so I searched the internet, found one place only to be told to call someone. I called pet passage, spoke with Scott who said that they could help and was evening willing to pick up our Shadow but told me to call back in the morning to speak with Bob as he knew Detroit areas a little better. Spoke with Bob the next day to set everything up. Bob and Scott came out and took our Shadow away. They were so kind to us. If I could give them 20 stars I would. I highly recommend Pet Passages. Bob was at our house to take care of things within a couple hours. He explained all of our options very clearly. His high level of customer service and kindness was a huge relief on a tough day. And their prices are very reasonable.
This process has been so much easier thanks to Pet Passages. They are accommodating and very clearly care a great deal about the animals and people that they are given charge of. The pricing is also extremely affordable, and not once did I feel like I was being cajoled or manipulated into buying additional services (which I find common practice during the bereavement process). Bob and Wendy went above and beyond for myself and my husband when we had to use their services for our baby boy, Rufus. They took great care of him and made us feel comforted as much as possible through our grief. He had died during the night, and we awoke to his dead body on the floor. He had died of a heart attack and we were devastated. Bob even laid Rufus out in one of the rooms, and allowed us to bring our dogs in for the private viewing we had for Rufus. We are still grieving for our baby boy, but Bob and Wendy are such kind souls, that we’re forever grateful for them and what they do, and why they do it. We could not have been more thankful for such great people to work with during such a difficult time for our family. We lost our beloved Zander very suddenly about a month ago and I was actually out of town when it happened. Bob made the process very easy for my husband to handle, he came to our home and picked up Zander who by the way was a 135 lb Newfoundland and was very patient with my husband as we made decisions back and forth since I was not home.Throughout the entire process Bob showed both my husband and I a great deal of compassion and respect but most importantly he showed that same respect to our Zander. I Could not have chosen a better place for my baby Mort. They were so comforting . I expected to pay alot more for cremation. I dont think it would have been possible without Pet passages. Extremely cost efficient. Mort is now back home. Its not the same but knowing he is home with me and not just gone helps me! They are so wonderful!

I would absolutely recommend Pet passages to anybody. It has been a little over a year since our handsome cat Bullseye went over the rainbow bridge and Bob and his wife made everything a lot easier and they are very understanding, they treat your animal as one of their own loved family members. They let you spend as much time as you want to grieve and say your “goodbyes” or “see ya laters”. Thank you so much for making this first experience of the passing of an animal easier! As I was leaving from picking up the beautiful urn (I don’t have a picture) , I turned on Schoolcraft and headed home and saw a rainbow and Bob had text me to see if I saw it and he had said “it’s Bullseye saying bye, it’s a sign” and it sure was, knowing he crossed the rainbow bridge.

2022-04-05I am so glad that I chose to entrust Pet Passages to take care of my sweet boy. It is so traumatic losing a beloved pet, but Bob and Kristie were so kind and compassionate from the beginning to the end. Their reasonable prices afforded me the opportunity to have my baby treated in a beautiful and dignified manner. Bob was so extremely kind when he met me at the Vets office and I knew I had made the right decision to have my little boy cremated by Pet Passages. I now have my sweet boy Marley back home in a beautiful mahogany box with his name engraved on the top, a beautiful mahogany picture frame with a picture of my baby and his paw prints, a little heart container with some of his white fur and a certificate of cremation. Everything was handled in such a kind respectful way.If anyone has to unfortunately suffer the loss of a fur baby, I highly recommend Pet Passages to take care of your baby. I can assure you will not be disappointed.Again my deepest appreciation to Bob and his staff at Pet Passages. for taking care of my sweet boy Marley.

2022-05-14My 130 lb American bulldogs seem to like to die in my arms early in the morning. I was so relieved that I was able to call Pet Passages. One thing you dont think of is how to handle a large dogs passing.My baby passed at 7 am on the kitchen floor in my arms. I waited until 8:30 to call. Bob the owner answered and I was grateful it wasnt an answering machine. When Bob arrived I was so comforted by his presence and was so impressed with his professionalism. The details mattered, even if they didnt seem to at the time.In short, I was impressed, comforted, and relieved by Bob the owners customer service and compassion. 2022-09-01Our oldest cat Piper suddenly passed away on Saturday morning. We didnt reach out to Pet Passages until 3am Sunday morning, while I was having a panic attack over what was possibly happening to Piper because we had her buried originally. Christie contacted me right away the next morning and was super helpful and informed me that it was not too late to have her cremated as I had originally planned for (her being buried happened very quickly). When we went in to drop her off, Christie helped us and was very wonderful and while I was shutting down mentally in the chair, she gave me my space and spoke with my husband instead (which was very helpful). They allowed us to say goodbye once last time and that if we wanted, we could stay as long as we liked. I did call multiple times over the period of those few days and when the phone was answered, they were extremely caring and gentle and never seemed annoyed by my questions. I wasnt sure on the color of the stone for Pipers pawprints (I wanted either Sapphire for her Birthday month or Diamond for her adopted month) and they were able to surprise me with one of the colors. I was a bit late when I finally decided that I wanted to do her birthday month so that I could continue this in the future with my other pets, but decided that I would let it be whichever it was to be. Upon picking her up, Bob helped us. I do want to apologize to Bob because I rarely interacted with him and the moment he had set down her fur clipping, I snatched them up before his hand had time to go back behind the desk. I was thinking about how I just wanted to hold her or pet her the night prior and it was a lot more fur than I was expecting. If you are having a very hard time getting over your pet, definitely get the fur clippings. I held and stared at it for hours but it helped immensely in keeping me calm.Anyways, their service was fantastic! The prices were very affordable and they had other options as well. I will be recommending them when I am more sociable again. I cannot thank them enough and will be using their services again in the (hopefully) very distant future.

2022-02-03I am so grateful Pet Passages offers their amazing services for my furbabies. Bob and Wendy truly put all of their heart and soul into assuring my kitties were well taken care of from the beginning to the very end. I would never be able to have my pets ashes if it wasnt for their affordable services. It is so comforting to know my pet is never put into a freezer, unlike other pet cremation services. I would never trust anyone else with my furbabies!

2021-06-16Dont look any further for a pet cremation service. These guys are THE BEST in the industry! I worked as a Veterinary assistant, and had heard their name before, but I didnt know how truly amazing they were until I had to use their services. Your beloved pet will be treated with dignity, and you will always know what is happening at all stages. Bob walked me through all their packages and Jamie helped me through the difficult process of picking my baby up. Their prices are very reasonable and they have different options for your financial abilities. I cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you for making this process easier. What you do is not matched in the current market. You go above an beyond.

2022-05-07So I called them after I called a place in Troy. The place in Troy wanted double and I had to purchase every little thing separate like the urn, paw prints etc. Losing a fur baby is SUPER DAMN HARD enough I appreciated Pet Passages for not overcharging at such a hard time and including EVERYTHING in my price. I was comforted, it was affordable, easy to handle and very fast. Thank you.
