It was a VERY difficult time for myself and my siblings and none of us had ever had to plan a funeral, but they made this difficult time so much easier to handle and we did not stress over anything at all and they made sure we understood everything. They provided everything we needed to give my dad a beautiful service. Any questions we had they were available and we never were made to feel like we were just a number but they made us feel like we were the only family they were dealing with! Comment: It was a very difficult time after my dad passed away, and I was very reluctant to go through the process of setting up services, selecting burial arrangements, and dealing with all the logistics.Rick made the process so easy at such a difficult time. I never felt pressure to select more expensive options as the focus was on what the family wanted. Rick was very patient and only chimed in to give us ideas on what options were available.The service ran very smoothly and we had allocated 15min for the three brothers to share some thoughts about our dad. My older brother went first and finished in about 5min. However, during my turn, I went over the time allocated and ran into the time to drive to the burial site. My dad was in the military so the Honor Guard was waiting.We were going to have my youngest brother speak after the burial ceremony because we ran out of time. I can’t thank Rick enough for making the call to let my brother speak before heading over. This is something only an experienced and connected organizer would do. Thanks so much Rick!I rarely give reviews, but the service and experience was exceptional at Peter’s Funeral Home and I highly recommend it for these difficult times.Scott

Unfortunately I had a family member pass away and was very new to what needed to come next and how to deal with a love one passing away. The staff at Peters guided us through the process and made everything so easy and simple to understand. A year or so later unfortunately another family member passed away and yet again the staff at Peters funeral home Wasco made things easy and very comforting. Losing a love one is never easy and there is a lot to deal with, but having a staff like those at Peters Funeral home in Wasco, helping you along the way, makes things much easier. I called so many funeral homes to ask for pricing and information and no ones was as direct as James. He showed so much empathy toward our situation and made himself available at any time of day. Comment: We lost my brother last month 💔. We went to Peters Funeral home and various other funeral homes in the surrounding areas. They had the most reasonable prices. Most of all they were the most understanding and helpful funeral home we found. They were willing and able to accommodate all of our needs to give our brother a final farewell. They assist with everything you need and are willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We had a lot of last minute request and they went out of their way to make it happen. They live-streamed my brothers services for loved ones that couldn’t be at the services for health related issues. They call and message me to check up on me, they treat you like a person and not a business, makes you feel like they honestly care. I don’t want to lose another loved one, but sadly I know I will eventually. I will be returning to peters funeral home when needed. I highly recommend them, it’s hard losing a loved one, but they help with the process of laying them to rest.

Comment: Peters funeral has handled my families services for as long as I can remember. Especially over the last two years when it seemed tragedy was constantly at our door, the loving staff at Peters guided us through every service and made truly heartbreaking times a little more tolerable. To be caring and sincere seems to come second nature to every staff member we have been in contact with with at Peters. We were never treated as another dollar, but were given a true and sincere service that is hard to find these days. Whether it was a simple phone call or text to check on us. They always took that extra step to make sure our family was doing ok, even months after our loved ones were gone, and for that my family is forever grateful. Though we pray not to have to use their services soon, we know that a day will come when we need them and we hope they will again be there to support us in our grief.
