Comment: I have a motorhome with a Cat engine, and this is the local Cat engine repair facility for me. I was referred here by Caterpillar corporate when asking how to deal with a coolant leak for my motorhome. Nick, the service writing supervisor, said they dont work on motorhomes and refused to service my vehicle. For the next 2 weeks, I contacted over 15 mechanics and RV shops. They all referred me back to Peterson, saying thats where I needed to get my Cat engine serviced. I contacted Nick again and he refused again to assist me. He referred me to two other places. One said they dont do engine work like this and the other never responded to my emails, phone messages or faxes. No one would help me, so I started calling mobile mechanics. I finally got a mobile mechanic out of Martinez to assist me, which of course cost me extra for the long distance service fee. The same day he was working on my engine, the service manager of Peterson trucks emails me saying they would work on my engine after all. Too little, too late, and I never should have had my cat engined motorhome refused service at the local cat repair shop that everyone (including Cat corporate) referred me to.

Comment: Demi @ front desk very professional and good personality as have been ALL the staff. Great Happy Hour and Breakfast here. They have a lot of renovation construction going on but the rooms are spacious and quite. I was able to visit with VP and General Manager which were genuine in thanking me for my staying there. Good location and easy to arrive and depart. Mr Bill in valet is a true gentleman. Renovation should be complete by August. I look forward to my return and seeing it completed. Highly recommend!

Comment: Beware they charge to get an estimate for repairs and service. I wanted to see what it costs to have radiator flushed with new belts and hoses on my RV Cat C7. The estimate came back over $3000.00. I politely declined the offer. When I went to pick it up they charged me $327.00 for the estimate. All I got was a piece of paper and an a very dissatified feeling about the business.

Comment: Stay away !! STAY AWAY !! From this place.This guys scam artist. They will try to OVER Charge You.Dont buy or service your truck. If you can avoid buying International truck.They are bad truck. Maybe good for one or two years.I was talking to Nick. And he gave me repair quote for $7000 after asking him why its so high. He told me wait its $1000 less. For some mistake he didnt know about something. Try to go to different location or use Macanic that is no affiliated with this guys.They also have computer fee. 50$ they charge you no matter what. So then I told him.you already charge me for diagnostics two hours which cost me about $350 witch you need to use anyway computer.Anyway guys stay away from this place.
