Took my puppy for her first experience at Pet Smart. Ended up updating her harness, collar, and got her a sweater. Employees were very nice
This grooming place needs new employees. My husband brought my dog for a wash and because he had a tangle on his ear they wanted to rebook appointment for another day. Definitely need to find a small local groomer

Great store & super glad its nearby. After my dogs getting themselves covered in burrs I had to shave them. Turns out my blades were really dull and taking forever to get thru their hair. What a lifesaver that Petsmart had blades for sale!! I asked the sales clerk if they would likely work for my clippers, which were a different brand. He had no idea. He actually thought it probably wouldnt... However Google came thru & told me that Wahl would work with Oster. Honesty, I think PetsMart is a bit over priced but great for last minute needs.
Always fast and friendly service (you can tell how much the staff are genuine animal lovers) here and one of the few places you can actually take a pet inside of.

They had a good variety of fish which is what I went to look at but it was also fun to look at all the other animals they had too. Also all the staff was very nice in making sure to ask us if we need help! Thank you PetSmart for the great experience, and our new beta fish Casper!

My 9 yr old daughter has recently sparked an interest in keeping fishtanks and the crew at PetSmart have been very patient and helpful as we get better at not killing them off! Its clear that each employee we encounter has a passion for pets large and small and if they dont know how to help us themselves they always know who on staff can help us. Here is Hoppy the frog that started her interest! Hes still alive and is getting very large thanks to our helpers at PetSmart!
I had questions, all were answered and, I was able to buy everything I needed. Albert (my dogster) even got a treat on the way out!

Every aquatic animal weve bought here has ended up dead within days of bringing it home. Weve bought fish and other stuff from other pet stores and this never happens. Our aquarium is kept in perfect condition at all times. This place sells dying fish, dont buy them.

The store and staff are decent. The animals look like they are cared for decently. The fish look clean some days and awful others. The one thing I do not like is that none of the staff stay consistent on where they price match.
Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about what you can give your pet. If the immediate staff doesnt know then they will reach out to others staff members who are more knowledgeable
I just took my lab to the groomer here. It was his first time being groomed and Jennifer did an amazing job! She was so good and thorough with him and when I got him back I could tell he was well taken care of there. He smells so good and I will be taking him back in the future. ♡

I love PetSmart. They have everything I need for all of my pets needs.
I am very disappointed by the lack of customer service and respect Ive had during both times Ive taken my dog to get his nails trimmed. The first time the salon acted like it was inconvenient that we were. Then yesterday we showed up at 7:02PM to get his nails done (trying to make it after work and before vacation) and we were turned away disrespectfully. They stated they close up at 7PM despite all the signs in the store saying the salon closed at 8PM. I also called beforehand and the phone recording said the salon was open until 8PM. Will not be returning. Going to go somewhere that acts like they want to do their job. Convenient location though.

Jennifer was my dogs groomer. She was great. She had alot of work to do on my dog due to mats. She took her time and got all the mats out. My dog looks great now. Thanks taking the time and care since it was her first salon visit. Got better care here than my other dog got at the miller road pet smart.
I originally went in to find my conure a toy. After falling head over heels for a little parakeet that I could NOT leave behind, I asked for some assistance. I was very impressed with how gentle and patient the associate (Dalton) was with catching the little bird. He was very kind and helpful and is great with animals. When I got the register, Emily was very polite and kind as well. Really great experience and very happy with the staff. Makes a big difference!
Always new employees. Took my elderly dog here several times for nail trim and grinding. Once they cut them too short and made him bleed and another time I saw them let his back legs fall off the table! Terrible care here. Find somewhere else to take your beloved animals

Matt did a great job grooming my dog beans who was pretty matted, wish a bandana was included at the end though thats always the best part. Beans looks cute
Fish were healthy and tanks look well maintained. The worker who helped me seemed knowledgeable about the fish i was asking about and helped me pick the best one for my tank. Will be going back!

I loved my experience at Pet Smart! If you want fantastic costumer service for you and your pets, go to Pet Smart! The associates were all super friendly and willing to help! A+ on that service so far! Don’t ever change that Pet Smart! :)
Overall customer service was good throughout the store. However i went to get my dog groomed. Paid for nail trim, pad trim and teeth brush. Only gave her the nail trim. She was done withing 5 minutes. Wont come again.
Groomers were super sweet and affectionate to my anxious girl and the other dog getting a bath there.
We were very happy with having our puppy’s nails done at PetSmart. They recommended grinding which we have never had done on any of our dogs before. They did an excellent job! Plus the young lady doing his nails was so good with him. We’ve only ever had our dogs nails done at the vet or ourselves. No longer, we will be going to PetSmart from now on.

The only place I can find my cats food
We have been going there for a while, usually pretty good. My wife had an encounter with an employee in the Grooming Salon with our dog. I had to go there and take care of things, not sure if well be back??...!!
I get my dog food here along with his grooming. The staff are always friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Brittany is my go to bather for my dog. Chewy even knows who she is when we come in. Shes thoughtful and understands your pet needs and is quite accommodating!
I wasnt impressed with the selection of things or the condition of the pets in the store. The one worker I talked to was nice though so I will give it 3 stars just for that. Really needs improvement.
We rescued a chocolate lab. He was filthy and came from a less than ideal home. The staff their did a great job bathing him, and even trimmed his nails!. We will be back for sure!
They take very good care of Nelson.He is gentle and good-natured but I know his size presents a handful for them, but they never complain and always do a nice job.

This pet store has had a dried up dead lizard in a cage with another poor lizard for at least a week now... and clearly longer since its completely dried out. When I came here a week ago one of the snakes didnt have any water either.
Love the variety of product and the staff is super friendly but I will never go here to get my dogs nails trimmed again because we had a very bad experience last time. But we do come here often with our dog.

The best pet store around. We take our French Bulldog to puppy class here. Already completed two rounds of puppy class. Regina is the best puppy trainer in the area. I would recommend PetSmart and Regina for her puppy classes. Our baby loves going to PetSmart and shopping with us.
If your dog isn’t good at getting their nails clipped don’t take them here. Literally drove 30 minutes away for them to say they can’t do it because he’s to crazy. When I offered to help hold him they said they can’t allow it. Complete waist of time.

Cannot recommend for fish especially... bought some, and got ick in the tank. All but one fish died. They replaced the fish I bought, but those died as well. They helped us out with some ick medication, but on my own for the rest of the meds I needed to treat my large tank as well as the filter replacements and all my lost fish. Bought some at Pet Supplies Plus and Dottys... no problems. Prices here are higher than other pet stores, and staff not as friendly.

When you call it says book appointments online, go online does not allow you to select toenail trim only, call back and get to the salon, a- they dont have anyone until 3pm, b- they require puppies over 4 months to have rabies shots, which veterinarians dont reccomend until 6months, maybe you should follow proper veterinarian health guidelines, and update your website to correctly inform- shot information and hours of services is not posted, so people arent having to get the run around..2nd time PetSmart hasnt been so Smart, I will not be back.

Went for Authority catfood for my 3 kitties. They had the litter I use on CLEARANCE $15.87! The regular price is $21.99. I bought all 4 that were on the shelf.
Simply the best pet store. The staff here really cares about their animals and the store is always clean. Every animal I’ve gotten from here has been healthy. They work with reptile and avian vets and get their animals checked regularly. Finally a pet store that is passionate about their animal care as well as friendly and polite!
CHECK YOUR PETS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE!!!! This place does HORRIBLE cuts. For $70, I expect nothing but the best and when concerns about a bad hair cut went to the manager, she (Tracy) replied with rudeness saying that it was the owners fault for not noticing before leaving the store. No refund or anything was made.

Called for online order, they answered woth hello? and then what do you need?. She didnt confirm I even called petsmart, I had to ask her if I called the right place. Plus, she was unbelievably rude for no reason after that. Go to Flint or just a different pets supplies store. They know nothing at Grand Blanc, and dont care about your pets.

Pet smart is a terrible store with horrible policies. They discriminate against not only bully breeds but dogs that look like they might have pit in them absolutely disgusting. Anyone who knows anything about dogs knows pits are the most loving playful dogs. My lab is far more aggressive towards other dogs & my pittie just jumps around & plays. Will never support this bigoted company. If you care about dogs in the slightest do just a little research into this place & you will understand

My dog, a terrier is very challenging to keep still, especially when cutting his claws. We were a late night walk-in and were accepted in very well. The groomer had a tough time, but got the job done. Bravo to the crew.

Shopping outside my normal area and just wanted to run in and grab a bag of dog food. After being amazed they had isle after isle of dog food I was disappointed they did not carry Merrick brand.

2022-05-24We have used PetSmart since moving here 5 years ago. Just yesterday we took our yorkie poo Gus to get groomed. He had an apt. with Jennifer, whom was very nice and took time to make sure Gus warmed up to her before she took him back. When I picked him up, he looked great, smelled great and his haircut was by far the best he’s had! Thank you!

2021-08-08I LOVE this stores!!! My go to for everything pup related. I love their oversized toys and so do my pups they love each and everyone of them. Also they are the only place around that sells the Kong backpack harnesses. Seriously the best harness you can buy!!!

2022-05-19This location (and PetSmart more broadly) is a “bad fit” for pet owners with uncommon dog breeds. If you have a dog breed that isnt listed on their website, DO NOT go to this location. The groomers seem to have no interest in working with pet owners to find a reasonable alternative. I have moyen poodles (medium poodles), which PetSmart doesnt recognize on their site, so they tried to charge me the standard poodle prices. I advocated for my pets so that PetSmart not only has a moyen Poodle category but also that I not be charged the more expensive fee for grooming large dogs when I have medium sized dogs. I indicated my pets were just as close to mini poodles and that I should be charged the mini poodle fee until they can adequately account for moyen poodles (which seems like a reasonable customer request). I even suggested they find a dog breed that’s comparable to my poodles in size and/or weight and charge me THAT price (which I believe to be another reasonable request), but they also refused. I booked my appointment online indicating my pets were mini (since theres no option for moyen) and I called ahead to finalize the appointment to ensure I wouldnt have problems. Oh boy did I have problems! The groomer told me she needed to charge me standard poodle prices because my dogs were not mini to which I responded but theyre not standard either. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointments for my NON-standard poodles and wont ever be returning to any PetSmart.I raised this concern with the manager that my dogs fall in between mini poodles and standard poodles, yet the groomers chose to charge me the more expensive prices. To make matters worse, because I asked questions and raised a concern, this PetSmart deemed me not a good “fit in their system. I found their description of me as “not a good fit and their unwillingness to charge me a reasonable fee as inconsiderate, discriminatory and bias against me and my pets. I am particularly offended because I was appropriate in my tone with them and thought they were going to work with me based on the managers thoughtful communication. Imagine my surprise when I learned I was labeled not a good fit from another employee.PetSmart is not interested in doing anything for pets as their slogan suggests. Or perhaps they just refuse to do anything for me and my pets, in particular.

2022-03-10We always get great service here and its so awesome when the cashiers help us price match so we can get the best deal possible. Everyones super friendly and helpful too.We have taken our dog to three puppy classes here with Regina and she is awesome (our dog agrees). We recommend her to everyone we know.

2022-01-1399% of the time I go (which is frequently) the staff is so sweet and helpful. They have a wide variety of products to choose from which I appreciate as my large breed dog has a very sensitive stomach so we buy a LOT of food. The store is always clean and inviting.
