Headed there for a pickup on lunch break tonight. The food was ready perfectly on time and tasted delicious but for some reason the dude working the counter, after handing me my food as I was walking out the door says “I love you” to me. It took me a minute to process so I didn’t react but bruh, I love you too. 💕❤️💕😂
Placed a contacless curbside take-a-way for $56 and when I arrived I had to illegally double park and sat outside forever. When I went inside the lady was rude and kicked me out. Never got my food and I paid these people a $7 tip just to bring my pizza out to me and they couldnt even handle that! Beware the entire parking lot is a mess and they share parking with two other resturants that also do cubside take-a-way. Ill probably have to fight the charge with AMEX next week, what a waste of time! Beware of this place, rude and very poor service! I can only imagine how poor the food would have been because again, I didnt get my order! What a complete joke!
EDIT: They are now on DoorDash like a sane person. Well done, Dave. 5 stars achieved.Let me tell you about Dave. Dave was pretty cool. I called Dave and said Hey Id like some pizza delivered and Dave said Awesome. We dont have a delivery guy, but we understand technology exists to solve this, so well Doordash it.Amazing! Hardly 3 miles away, perfect and reasonable response (considering I can get it from literally anywhere and anyone else almost 10+ miles away. Like, idk, Buddys. Slice of the 80s, etc.) Dave was, and still is, worth 5 stars. Class act, Dave.Now let me tell you about Angie. Angie picks up the phone and goes we dont have a delivery guy. I say Well sure, Dan last time just did it through doordash, why cant we do that?This reasonable suggestion coupled with my frustration as to how Angie could possibly be any different from Dave was met with immediate frustration and passive aggressive anger.I began to understand immediately how different from Dave Miss Angie was.We get through the order after I realize that Pizza Hut apparently just calls regular pizzas pan style, whatever that means, with no help from Angie who instead decides the best way to correct my idiocy of Pizza Hut branding terms is to put me on hold. Times like these I wonder What Dave Would Do.After discovering Im an idiot, Angie places the $50 order with a nice, passive aggressive comment of Well, we dont have a driver and now the order is put through, so itll get there when it gets there.Nice. Succinct. Proper. Classy.
Poor quality of food. Bare minimum toppings. Wrong crust than ordered. No side pepper or ranch offered. Did not show prepared pizza upon counter delivery. Poor customer service. No smile No eye contact No Welcome No Thank you. Just bad quality of pizza making. Very unhappy with overall experience. And this is not first time. This is new normal for pizza hut.
The website was a bit cumbersome to use. Then when I was done ordering, I was told that the store i was ordering from was not delivering at the moment, and I had to pick up. Not a big deal, but the website did not save my order when switching to pick up, so I had to enter the whole thing again.Edit: In order to submit the survey I was sent, it is making me leave one of my answers as a public review. The comments in this review were specifically in response to the question on how they could get me to strongly agree that I would recommend to a friend. I did agree that I would recommend, but not strongly. Overall, I liked my experience with Pizza Hut, and would order again. The website thing wasnt a deal breaker. My family enjoyed the food.
Okay, I call and place an order at 815pm this evening asking to pick it up at 945pm since thats when Id be passing the store on my way home from work. The guy who took my phone order was short and sounded none too pleased about me placing an order to pickup 15 minutes before close, I apologized and promised to be on time. I arrived at 940pm to a store with the open sign off and a guy that Im presuming to be the same one as I spoke to told me they were closed and had been closed for 2 hours. I checked the address and phone number of the location and it was correct. To say Im dissatisfied is the understatement of the year. Train your employees to have a better set of customer service skills please.
I am not happy because I can’t order online my special order without half cheese, so I called to order one pizza by phone and one I order online, I hold phone for 45 min no one came to take my order, once I order from store still they did mistake waited .45 min to pick up my pizza by the time I was tired to eat, once I came home amd it was one pizza cold since I order one pizza online second one I waited for 45 min because they put the cheese on it inside of half no cheese, I am customer since 30 years use to was good but your phone out sources is very bed, last time I order the party and I need half pizza with out cheese called got one same issue. I like pizza but Next time I might be not order from Pizza Hut due to ordering issue.
Hmm educate your managers on proper food storage temps, to preserve the freshness of ingredients. The pizza was over-cooked by a lot, I had to fight for every bite. Before finishing my 2nd slice; I tossed it in the trash. In times like these you would think people would go out oftheir way to provide a good product.
The absolute worst experience Ive had in a long time. Order our pizza at 6:50 PM, went to pick up at 7:30PM. Paid for my food and waited until 8 before i was told your order is coming out now, busy Friday night so that didnt bother me much. Waited another 10 minutes to be told, Im sorry we are just putting your pizza in the oven, so i told the young lady that i just wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. She apologized and then proceeded to call the manager over. This young man told me that he was too busy to process my refund and she was going to copy my card information and do it at the end of the night. Where is it that people are trained to write down customers credit card info and shoooo them away to hopefully get a refund later? I cant pay after I determine if my food was up to par. So needless to say i will not be going back to this establishment.
Horrible experience twice in a row.. the first time they left me sitting 30 minutes after I called to pick up (couldnt find my car was their excuse). Then I picked it up tonight and my breadsricks were burnt and inedible, and my 3 topping pizza had barely any toppings. The worst of all was the ladys sass and poor costumer service at the front desk 😯😯😯
We were the only table there for about 15 mins. Ordered our food before another table was sat. They got theirs first somehow. Ours came out wrong. (Was even written down and she admitted she wrote it wrong) it happens, whatever. There was absolutely no sauce on either of the 2 pizzas we ordered but we werent going to wait again after they messed up the first time. While we were there the phone was ringing off the hook. She answered the phone once!A gentleman came in and asked for his carryout and it wasnt there. Said they never received that order. He even said he talked to her specifically.Something needs to change or the restaurant wont make it much longer. There was a wait of take out orders as we were leaving and the server/hostess was severely overwhelmed.
This review drops in a few weeks when they close this location to move into a smaller storefront. I love this Pizza Hut because it is hands down the best buffet Ive ever experienced. Seriously, Ive never seen anything like it. Selection, quality, and service. Who needs more?Long live the Hut, a Wichita original.
Be nice if their phone worked, then ordered online and that didn’t go through....I keep wondering if there is a camera watching me lose my mind lol. Usually their pizza is great. Today the service was bad. Phone order didn’t get delivered, online ordering not working. It’s covid so let’s give them a break right!! Happy 2020.
We always get pizza from here, and Ive never been disappointed with the quality of pizza we get.One time, we ordered bread sticks, and we showed them the free coupon (it was a random deal we got in an email) and because they took an extra 5 or 10 minutes to make the breadsticks, they sent us an email giving us a free large pizza the next time we ordered.The staff is awesome, friendly guys who just want you to enjoy your pizza.
Wait times are often longer than what they tell you when you order. For instance today, order was supposed to be ready in 14 minutes took nearly 30. They also wont give you everything you pay for or order. Last trip they forgot to include my red pepper flakes shaker, and today they left out the sauce for the bread sticks and icing for the cinnastix.
TERRIBLE experience from this Pizza Hut! I love the food but will never order from here again. I live on a dirt road. The delivery driver never came, an hour and 15 minutes later I called. The gal on the phone said that the driver couldnt get down my road and cancelled the order. WHAT? I ordered delivery because people are drinking on Christmas eve. The manager had the gal respond with (note- the manager did not speak to an unhappy customer directly..) they will re make the order and I can come pick it up. Are you kidding me? If they delivered me the pizza and apologized I wouldnt have been angry. They could have saved all of this bad word of mouth.
Came to pickup an order and was approached nicely. As I went to ask for a 2 liter soda after getting the pizzas, the manager (who was taking care of us) got a phone call and answered it after he rang us up for the pizzas. So we waited for him to get off the phone which was okay, but as soon as he got off the phone, he ignored us and started helping other customers... making us wait until the other customers problem was dealt with then rang us up for the soda. Irritating to be pushed behind and wait for another customers issue as we were first in line.
The only thing that I really really like from here are the little personal pan pizzas. All the other pizzas are ok. The buffalo wings are different. Usually you can count on most buffalo wings tasting pretty much the same.... Not here. There is a different taste to them that I dont like.
Just had an excellent lunch. Lee was the most friendly, quick efficient server who couldnt do enough for us. Buffet was fresh, hot food constantly replenished we have ever had at Pizza Hut. All other Pizza Huts should follow their example . Lee should maybe nationally train others how to provide such outstanding customer service.
The service was fine, food was okay but the ambiance was horrific. We went to dine in and found the restaurant very unclean, unorganized & cold. The atmosphere was not inviting at all. I had to sit on a chair that was rocking because it was broken. The worst part was dealing with the unclean plates. I almost felt like walking out when the waitress brought completely wet & unclean plates to our table.
I just think charging .75 cents for small packet of garlic sauce for my bread is greedy. And the sauce isnt even that good. Wish I would of known that before I spent .75.Also, why not just have a 5.99 special for one pizza. Why must u buy two to get that deal? 5.00 menu should be just that...5.00.
Wintissed a guy waiting 45 minutes for his order when it was ready for a long time. Same with my order. I revieved it 20 mins after the listen pick up time. This has been my second instance where my order was very late, and I witnessed another order being very late. Wouldn’t recommend.
Poor service. Salad bar looked like a war zone. Waitress didnt even acknowledge we were eating our salads with our fingers because she hadnt brought out any forks. The saddest part was I hadnt been to a Pizza hut in over 20 years and couldnt recall why.....thanks for the reminder.
We ordered delivery and after a hour i called to see what the status of our order was since they had told me that it would be there in 20-30 minutes.When spoke to them i was told that all orders have been sent out and that i should expected them shortly.Well its now an hour and half later and we have not received our order.Terrible service.
When you order a pizza Make sure you mention you want the toppings on the pizza and not on the box.I ordered 2 pizzas and some sides. Both the pizza boxes looked like as if they were crushed from the top. All the toppings stuff to the top and fries tasted horrible with oil and bunch stuck to one another.We were starving to call, complain and get a replacement. We just ate the dough.Going back to jets and papa johns . Wont order Pizza Hut again. Thanks
Horrible customer service.. Called ordered a pizza called right back because they never asked if I wanted it delivered..Called back an hour later because never received my pizza and was told no record of my order.. How can I talk to two different people about my order then an hour later say they have no record of me ordering anything.. To make it worse told me it would be 45 minutes for delivery. Manger was rude and did nothing to compensate me.
The new location has been terrible they will try to serve you burnt pizza’s nothing is made right whoever the manager is needs to be fired because the food is BAD to the point I’m ordering dominos again smh please don’t order from this location I’m given you the heads up TERRIBLE
This review is long overdue but our experience was great the best part of coming to this restaurant was meeting this lovely and helpful guy named Lee he is so nice and so helpful he is like a dad im going to start coming to this Pizza Hut more often so he knows the menu serves you quickly and makes dining hear a pleasure thank you lee

2022-06-27Great experience. The staff was super polite and friendly. The store was clean. The arcade game in the corner reminded me of the old local Pizza Hut with games and the salad buffet. All around no issues and better than expected interaction with better than expected pizza! One of the better simple pepperoni pizzas in a chain available!

2022-08-29I havent had Pizza Hut in a while so it was a good change in my dietary habits. We got a hand tossed and original, the original had a little too much crust. Although, their crust is one of a kind, it kind of extended out too much into the center. Time the order should have been ready was a little off by a few minutes.

2022-09-12Poor experience. Online order for delivery. One of the pizzas was forgotten. No big deal, however when driver returned about 45 min later with the pizza it was cold and no longer fresh. I called store and manager stated that I was wrong and I was told to have a good night and the call ended. So much for customer service. Again, I realize that things happen. There is a right way to correct mistake. The customer should feel like they are causing an inconvenience. Hopefully they can correct this issue for future customers.

2022-07-17This review is strictly from a DoorDasher perspective, not as a customer. Ive only been to this location a few times, but enough to determine that I dont want to dash here anymore.The first time was ok; no issues there. The employee was polite and the order was already ready. The second time, I had to wait about 20 minutes for my customers order, which kills a dashers earnings. Again, the employee was polite and offered me and another dasher a free drink for the long wait, but the front end was so slammed and running around like chickens with their heads cut off that I didnt feel like they really had control of the situation.This last time, which happened just a little bit ago, I walked in with my pizza bag and there were three employees behind the counter. Not ONE of them asked me what my customers name was before handing me a large order meant for someone else. They all just saw the pizza bag and jumped to conclusions. This resulted in the disgruntled customer going off on ME for being given the wrong order, which meant I had to drive back to restaurant to get the correct order. They eventually gave me the right order, but no apology was offered to me and no gratis was offered to the customer for the muck-up.Granted, I should have double-checked the name on the receipt, but for no one to ask me what the customers name was grossly negligent. It also doesnt help that this location is near a dangerous intersection. I wouldnt waste my time, gas and energy going here as a Dasher OR a customer. Its not worth the headache.

2022-05-10Pizza was terrible tonight! Ordered a hand-tossed $10 3-topping with mushrooms, ham and onions. Got a burned thin crust with hardly any toppings. Tried to call the store to complain but was on hold for almost 7 minutes in an electronic loop. Threw the pizza in the trash. Wont be ordering pizza hut anymore.

2022-08-07Never received our delivery. Store manager hung up on me when I called to tell them, then refused all further phone calls. No effort made to fix or cancel the order. Worst experience ever. Avoid the Canton, MI Ford Rd location at all costs.

2020-06-15I don’t know what happened to Pizza Hut... I remember ordering cheese breadsticks and there being an abundance of cheese just gooey and delicious! Whenever I order them now, I get a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese across them leaving them burnt, overcooked and just not at all how I remember them being. I’m so disappointed because I used to LOVE Pizza Hut!

2022-04-28I received the complete wrong order. When I called to let the store know they were very apologetic and said they’d get fresh stuff made for me and sent out within ten minutes. It has now been over two hours and I have not received my food and have been sitting on hold waiting for the store to answer for the past ten minutes. I have never been so let down by a food place. I would never order from here again.

2022-09-18My order on the app charged my card 4 times, showed the charges from my bank account to the store shift lead employee and she refused to help at all! Worst customer service, bad attitudes and not worth it.
