While at a friends house talking about, Chicken Tandoori, and Chicken Biryani rice, our host was very excited about ordering Indian food.We wanted pizza too.🧐💭💭💭Who did we call?🌟🌟🌟PIZZAWALAS🌟🌟🌟We ordered the, Chicken Tikka Marsala pizza and the Cheese Pizza with Tikka sauce. We all gave verbal compliments to each other at the table about BOTH pizzas. This was our first time visiting with friends in-person (as a family). You made our first experience with you amazing.Thank you to, EVERYONE, that makes the dream work here.
I returned here after they updated their name. The store is small and accommodates up to maybe 10 people for dine in but it isnt open right now due to the pandemic. They have a good varieties of Indian pizzas for vegetarian and non vegetarian. I ordered a large chilli paneer pizza which would serve 2-4 people and I would say Im surprised because it tasted tangy more like Schezuan sauce. The crust is good compared to American pizza chains. Id maybe try thin crust next time if they have. Good taste and value for money. Overall I would say its worth to give it a try.
This pizza joint ought to be the favourite place for the Asian population here . But it really is observed to be liked by all communities equally well , who hunts for different tastes and crest. In taste there is no second opinion....I would recommend to all pizza lovers to make this a regular joint for its unique and signature recipe.
I have seen price hike for the third time in past year or so, which is uncommon considering other pizza joints. Their crust seems on the harder side and looks like the crust is pre cooked and then put in the oven with the sauces which makes the pizza experience a bit disappointing in my opinion.
Amazing pizza and wings! Everything was Indian inspired and was delicious. Only problem was that they ran out of the chili cheese bread because I heard it was amazing. I will definitely be coming back to try it again when they get some in Stock. We were able to get 2 pizzas split with different toppings which allowed us to try many different flavors which was awesome. Indian and Italian fusion definitely works, come try this place out!
The best pizza place Ive had in a while. Decided to try it out after someone recommended it. Its a small pizza place with a few available seating tables. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Halal friendly as per staff. Ordered a large chilli chicken pizza and it was delicious!!!!!! Indian fusion flavors. I absolutely loved it and would definately return here to try other options off the menu. Exceeded my expectations!!! Highly recommended
Holy wah I was not ready for these pizzas. Chicken Tikka: amazing! Super unique flavors unlike anything youll see at regular pizza places. Just get some, you wont regret it. The prices are more than fair and the vibe is nice. Everything about this place is fun and Id get it again in a heartbeat.
Been coming to this place for years now and the taste is always consistent. My go-to is the chilli cheese bread and they always make it with the variations that I prefer. We tried the spicy veggie pizza and it was delicious. The cheese was well done, and you can taste fresh ginger and cilantro on top. They serve HALAL achari chicken pizza that I highly recommend as well. The restaurant is always clean and I love their customer service. Very polite and respectful every time I have placed the order.
I’ve been going to Curry on Crust for years, ever since enjoying Indian Pizza in San Francisco on vacation. I was pleasantly surprised to see Indian pizza available in Michigan when I returned. Curry on Crust is always good. I am a full-blooded meat eater but my favorite pizza at Curry on Crust is actually the vegetarian Aaloo Gobi. The Chicken Tikka and Paneer Tikka are amazing too. My only complaint is it’s tiny inside and the seats are uncomfortable and feel like they could fall apart while you’re sitting on them, so I’d recommend ordering carry out if possible.
Just discovered Curry On Crust today and liked their pizza so much that we had to go in for a second pizza too. They have an amazing take on pizza with a very clean store and excellent, friendly, and professional staff. Im definitely planning on coming back here next time 8 get the chance and Id highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Its always comfort food when it comes to pizza and when you get a taste of Indian spices and herbs in a pizza, how could you miss it. They do not have dine in at this time, and offer only take outs. The food is delicious and you can pretty much try anything from the menu, youll love it.
Craziest thing I ever saw in a Pizzeria - THEY CHARGE FOR KETCHUP! I still can not believe it. Their pizza is excellent, always. But giving low rating only because of this behavior of making us pay for ketchup sachets. It wont be a problem if you are taking pizza home but in summer it wont be a case always and you may want to eat outdoors too but nevertheless, paying for ketchup in a Pizza shop is something that I can never make peace with.
If you like pizza and Indian food, youre in for a real treat. Weve tried a variety of their pizzas over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed with the classic American-style pizza dinner with an Indian cuisine twist. Also, their wings and cheesy chili bread are a must-try. They have great service too! During COVID, we ordered takeout, but they forgot one of our sides. They called to let us know, and when we returned, they sent us back with additional complementary sides for the trouble. Great combination of cuisines, good service, and very reasonable price point: 5 stars!
We have been ordering from this place ever since it opened up and they have consistently managed to serve a wide variety of flavorful pizzas. Our go-to pizzas have been the Masala Eggplant, Gobi Manchurian and Paneer Tikka. So glad to have a place that serves pizza with Indian flavors! The staff has always been friendly too. A must try for sure!
My favorite local pizza spot! My dad and I get the chatpata pizza and the flatbread. Its absolutely phenomenal! Theres honestly nothing like the pizzas here. The only thing that deters us from coming more often is that prices are on the higher end. 2 large pizzas can wrack up to $40. But it is good once in a while.
There were 3 things that made my visit yesterday, one of the best pizza-place visits in my lifetime.I had heard about Curry on Crust and had always wanted to go, but never got the opportunity to do so. I finally decided to give it a try today, as they have rebranded to Pizzawalas I asked the young cashier about the change. He was so kind and informative, informing me that the management and owners were the same, and they had just been franchising!I was able to walk in and order right on the spot! I did have some questions about the tandoori chicken wings, and I was able to get great and informative answers from the cashier!I was told my order would take around 15-20 minutes, and I was actually able to get it after only around 15! I walked out after thanking the staff, and was eating in the parking lot when one of my friends calls me. I tell them about the wonderful smell and how great the food looks and they asked me a question, is the chicken halal? I called in, and asked and the person on the phone was also very helpful! He told me that all the chicken on the pizzas are halal, whilst the chicken wings arent! I was able to compliment the wonderful food on the phone, and got an amazing experience out of it. My friend says he will definitely come and try out some of the halal chicken pizzas!Overall, 10/10 for service, taste, and everything. My family and me loved the food, and I will definitely be coming back.Best chicken I have tasted in years! Great job staff and cooks! You have my respect!
My experience for the pizza i got today was just terrible. It was very soggy. I did call the joint and i was told i had ordered extra sauuse. I did but i wanted that sauce in separate cup.I expected them to understand my concern and assure that menu description will get changed where it will mention how the extra sauce will be give. They didnt. And these pizzas are on the expensive side.Well, i think as we call it, it is YMMV.As for myself, i wont reject their pizza but i would really avoid getting the pizza from this pizza joint if i can help it.
My wife suggested we try this knowing how much I enjoy Indian food and that we havent been able to have any in quite awhile. I ordered a custom pizza and it hands down was one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. Even if I dont account for the wonderful ingredients and flavor the pizza was perfectly created with the right amount of toppings and cheese. I ate the whole thing and didnt even feel bad about it. I also ordered the veggie puff appetizers. They were excellent as well, kind of like a samosa but super light and not at all greasy. The filling was very tasty. Add to this that my wife has a serious nut allergy and they were more than happy to cook her pizza ensuring us of the nut-free selections and that it was prepared separate from the other nut dishes. Tremendous service and food. We will make the drive from Dearborn again soon.
I had two of their specialty pizzas— the chili paneer and the mango chicken. Both were fantastic. The chili paneer was pleasantly spicy with a hit of vinegar, and the mango chicken was milder with a nice blend of flavors. The veggie puffs were also delicious. This place will be a go-to for me when Im in the area.
Ordered garlic chicken and veg Manchuria pizza.Garlick chicken pizza sauce made the pizza taste like eating uncooked dough.Veg Manchuria pizza sauce was added too much and is sweet. I generally eat moderate level spicy and I did not like both the pizzas and is expensive compare to taste.
Super pizza. If I could give this 4.5, I would. The richness they mix their own tucked into traditional pizzas is seamless. I would never have guessed that this was even a fusion dish if this was the first pizza I have ever eaten. This can be a pro or a con, though. Their butter chicken pizza needs more of their Makhani sauce, and they dont offer more (they can only offer Marinara, ranch). However, if you wanted something special, the Manchurian sauce they have gives a large kick in flavor that you can expect from the spices in the most authentic curries. Theres a pizza for everyone. Try it and you wont regret it. Just watch out for the temperature, I might have burnt myself with my impatience.
Great curry taste on crust!!!!! I love this combination! I cant believe this place doesnt have a line coming out the door! A little on the pricey side for pizza but definitely worth it. Wings are fabulous as well, especially if you like a little kick to your food. You should give this place a try.
Whenever Im down near my hometown area I always try to swing by this hidden gem. The prices are decent and the quality of the food is great. Its a unique experience of pizza done Indian style with all the bold, spicy flavors I love about Indian cuisine packaged into a pizza. I have not been disappointed by anything Ive gotten, and have made my friends big fans- I love introducing this to my friends and family for the first time and watching them enjoy it as much as I do. I cannot recommend this place enough!
I love all pizza but I have digestive complications that prohibit me from ever eating pizza except for curry on crust, thank God cause it’s the best pizza anyways. For whatever reason it never bothers my stomach. Always is consistent and delicious. Never had a rude employee in the last 4 years. We drive 40 minutes every couple months for this pizza. Please open another location near Wixom, Milford area.
My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time. I ordered the chicken Tikka pizza and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! We also had the veggie puff app, which was basically like a samosa but more light and flaky (SO good!!). Already looking forward to coming back!
This pizza was delicious! Ive never seen a combination like this and I loved it. The pizza was very fresh, they called us by name, and the cashier was very helpful in describing flavors and making recommendations. I didnt think the Mango held up against the other flavors on the pizza I got but the sauce was so good and so were the other toppings that I didnt care. I even ate it cold the next morning!
If you love Indian food you will love Curry On Crust. If you don’t love Indian food, Curry On Crust will change your mind. Everything is absolutely amazing and worth the expense and the drive from Ann Arbor. The mango chickenpizza is my favorite but it’s all incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough!
They Have Variety flavours of Pizza. The Service from staffs is really good, Every order takes 20 minutes.Paneer options are better than Chicken. I personally feel the Pizzas are over priced. The Quantity size for the Prize they charge is not worth. Especially the crust is really hard, Once you reheat its difficult to take a bite.
The pizza is absolutely amazing, indoor dining isnt something Id recommend though. Definitely pick up your pizza and go if you can; the interior isnt bad, but its small. Not that many people eat pizza in the building the buy it from anyways, its more of a to go thing (but if you need to use the bathroom, they do have one which is a nice creature comfort).
Fan of Indian cuisine? This is the only pizza you should get! Absolutely great food! Dont bother eating inside - its small/cramped and not the newest/cleanest interior. Uncomfortably hot/humid in the summer. This is the sort of pizza you order and pickup to enjoy in your home. Still, its got a great East-Indian flair and is just fantastic. I wish they delivered!
They standout from the crowd with Indian flavors and spice. My kids love all the different varieties they offer on their menu. I reduced a star as I find their pizzas a little salty, and bit expensive. But once in a while one can indulge 😆Seating is limited, but most of their clients carry-out, so usually you will find a table.
Very cool place - they have a totally different take on an old favorite: Thai flavors in a pizza format. I suggest getting a few different kinds with some friends and sharing them around. We tried three pies and all of them were good. They also offer the option to build your own creation.
I stumbled across this place on accident when looking for a restaurant in Canton, Ohio. Happy mistake as the following week I ended up in Canton, Michigan!I had no idea Indian pizza was a thing. But this place shot it to the top of our favorite crossover concepts. Weve been back since and its held up.A very small dining area is really the only criticism I can offer. The Chicken Tikka pizza and the Butter Chicken pizza are heavenly. The crust is perfect. the sauces are divine. Stop reading and go there now.
I dont even know where to begin telling you how good this pizza is. The way the flavors meld together is phenomenal, and the crust is just the perfect blend of soft yet crispy. And dont even got me started on the veggie puffs. The filling paired with the pastry puff dough just melts in your mouth with the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Curry on crust has made your typical pizza joint seem bland and underwhelming by comparison.
I really wanted to like it. I love Indian food and I love pizza, but my expectations werent met here.Service was friendly and pricing was fine, I thought it was a great business, so no complaints there. The food just didnt do it for me. We got a couple of different pizzas and they were both interesting but not something Id be excited to revisit soon.
Good Indian variety of pizzas. Pleasantly surprised by the taste and freshness of ingredients when I ordered for the first time. One star taken off due to lack of delivery option. Have to pickup or dine in.The place is small when compared to a restaurant and very busy on weekend nights.Popular among the community and the staff says the meat is halal.
Awesome Indian take on the Italian dish. Some close friends came in to town, and we ended up eating there twice. The statement made was, I love this more than our pizza in India! My favorite was the chicken tikka, but our large group loved some may different ones from regular cheese to cauliflower, etc. YUM.
Great indian-american fusion food! I always choose to eat here when I want to mix up my usual pizza order. Sometimes the wait time to make the pizza can take a while and I wish the indoor seating was a more attractive option--I think most people choose to carry out anyway.
The pizza is great and definitely has unique toppings that would be very hard to find anywhere else. We had the chicken tikka pizza and the chili chicken pizza. Both were delicious but I prefer the chili chicken. The toppings are what really make the pizza. The crust itself is pretty standard otherwise. All in all, I would come again!
Came in and ordered and was created nicely. Sat down and our first pizza came out. About 10-12 minutes later the second came out. Now, we had ordered two, similar, but different pizzas. They had the same toppings but distinctly different sauces. The second pizza came out and tasted EXACTLY like the first...Now, normally I forgive mistakes, it happens. What I dont forgive is blatent rude service. We got the attention of someone and politely asked if the pizzas were different. He just blew us off and said of course. I said they are not, they taste exactly the same, and he told me, no, youre wrong. And walked away. Whether they were different or not, thats not how you treat customers. I spent 14 years in the restaurant business as a owner/operator and you would never catch me talking like that. Inexcusable.Food gets 4 stars.Service gets 2 stars
I really love trying out-of-the-box concepts when it comes to food, so I was excited to try it when one of my Indian coworkers brought Curry on Crust to a party. It was really good!Ive been ordering from here pretty regularly ever since. Id personally recommend the Chilli Paneer Pizza (update: the Malsala Eggplant is my new favorite!), but Ive tried a lot of different kinds and have enjoyed every single one.
I wish I could eat here daily. This pizza is seriously tasty, and is clearly freshly made. I got the Palak Paneer pizza, my fiance got the Chili Chicken pizza. We each got a small and it was plenty of food. The prices were fine, the ambiance was sweet, and again, the pizza... so tasty! I wish it had even more spice to it, but loved it nonetheless.Regrets:- The service was iffy at best. For most of the time we were there, there wasnt anyone at the counter. Thus when we didnt get the water we had asked for, we couldnt really find someone to ask about it.- On that note, water. Often counter service establishments will have a big cooler of water for guests to take from; this would be a great addition to Curry on Crust.- Lets keep going about the water. My cup of water, once I got it, had black dust in the bottom.- The small pizza is cut into 4 pieces. This is an awfully picky suggestion/regret, but I wish it had been 6. The slices were just too large, and somehow having 6 slices in the same pizza might make it feel like you were getting even more.
Called for takeout, 1st time trying this place, and prob last. Girl says 15 min, I show up a couple min early. Pizza was already done. Got home, pizza is already room temp, not even warm. Slices were even separated from each other. I only live 5 min away. Hell Little Caesar’s is still warm when I get home. $14 for paper thin, cold pizza?! Not again. No wonder the place was empty. Literally one couple there, that’s it.
Amazing! We tried several pizzas including tikka chicken, butter chicken, mango, and achari chicken. Sharing as a group was the way to go, so everyone had lots of options and a broad experience. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Achari was my favorite but Im glad I didnt have a whole pie of it as it definitely packs a punch.
This is my favorite pizza place in Canton. Their chicken wings are wonderful. Its real chicken and the flavor options are great. Many of the pizza options are spicy, so if you hate spice, you might be put off by their stuff. Not me though, I love it.Any time I have a guest visit in Canton, I like to grab pizza for everyone from here. Its my way of saying welcome to Canton.
Very good pizza, we got 2 pizzas and an order of cheese bread. The cheese bread was perfect, the pizza was great. We got the Chilli Chicken and Chicken Tikka pizzas. The Chilli pizza was spicy and sweet, very good flavor. The Tikka pizza was milder, not as strong flavored for my taste. Overall, great experience.
Curry on Crush is an amazing hidden gem. Come in for one of many traditional Indian dishes served pizza style! Try the aloo gobi for a traditional favorite, or the vegetable korma if you want something a bit sweeter. They have garlic bread and build-your-own if you like too.
I love to visit this place whenever its possible for me to.Love there puffs (and I mean LOVE em). They are made fresh and even if I eat them 2 days after, they still taste quite good. I ordered a Malai Paneer Pizza once (with Garlic & herb sauce with cheese, malai paneer, onions and green peppers) and it was smashing! The pizza itself was really light (on the stomach I mean) and the Garlic herb sauce was amazing.KUDOS for the staff, they are always humble and active.Karan Guleria -
Like the Indianized version of pizza or desi pizza here. But the place is too cramped and its hard to get seated to eat the pizza. I do not like cold pizzas. I only buy from here when there is seating space available. So..most of the times..Im disappointed as I do not get to eat there.
They user to make you pay a lot of money. When people stop buying there pizza. They less there cost of indla pizza. Last time I buy pizza for here I found a bug in it. I could Not come back because I take it at home. To eat. If I take it back there They well think I put it in there.
This is the worst restaurant which we have visited lately . We ordered aachari and chili chicken pizza which was not at all worth. We also ordered chili chicken wings and potato wedges which were equally worthless.. Chicken was uncooked and tasted like crap .. Its a good concept to open an Indian style pizza joint but they have done a very poor job as far as the taste and quality of food is concerned ..horrible

2022-01-22Pizza was quite good but not amazing and my wings were prepared quite sloppily -- sauce was just thrown on (look at pic), and they were clearly microwaved, barely so. Kinda expensive for whats offered but not terrible. The butter chicken pizza tastes nothing like butter chicken. I think they go way too light on the sauce. Try another type so you dont get disappointed.

2022-07-09I love their pizza. I am in love with butter chicken so I had to come here to try their butter chicken pizza. I absolutely loved it. They are reasonably priced as well and very friendly and welcoming. The meat on the pizza is halal as well which makes it even more better.Be sure to check them out and follow @7alalindetroit for more halal food spots

2021-09-26We usually go for half and half customized pizza. We ordered half Paneer tikka and half Achari Veg -thin crust yesterday. We have earlier tried veg korma too. It is always tasty and the crust was perfect. Never ever got disappointed till date…We just love this place !! Highly recommend this restuarant in canton to try fusion cuisine 😋

2021-09-23It was my first time to try india-pizza in Canton. Oh my, it was amazingly good! Love staffs! It’s highly recommended because it’s good price ! Or should I say, cheap! (:

2022-05-25This was our first time trying the vegan pizza here and it exceeded beyond expectations! The cheese melted nicely and the achari pizza tasted delicious! Just be careful if you don’t like spicy, to let them know. Wish they expanded to other cities here in Michigan, but Can’t wait to come here again when I come to Canton! I couldn’t take a picture because I had no control and ate it immediately - for real.

2022-05-26Good pizza alternative with Curry topping and more. If you like spice...this is it. Pan Pizza is like Pizza Hut bread and good. Fresh topping. Try the appetizers..veggie puffs and spicy fries.

2020-12-25I finally tried this Indian pizza place recently. I liked the pizza I ordered. Crust was little bit on the thinner side and we can customize order according to our taste. For a vegetarian, I always miss paneer on pizza like I used to get in india so it’s good to have a place that serves that.I ordered pizza and garlic bread. The reason I giving this place a 4 star is that I didn’t like garlic bread. It didn’t have much garlic taste and was little bit hard. For $4 we got 4 pieces but I would have made a better garlic toast if I simply took bread at home and grilled it with garlic butter.I recommend this place for pizza if you are craving Indian variety 😍 Pictures attached..!!
