There are 5 Light houses that i know of in this area, first one is about 5 mile out, then another one about another 5 miles out (Renolds reef), then another one about another 8miles out. the one the lady is talking about is on the beach at the river mouth

This lighthouse can only be accessed by boat. The review that mentions a beach and going inside the lighthouse must be about a different lighthouse since there is no beach here and no going inside. I saw the light on the Shepler Eastbound Lighthouse Cruise, which I highly recommend. There is a guide who tells you stories about all the lighthouses on the cruise. The bird feces is slowly dissolving the concrete, which is a sad reason to let a fine old lighthouse like this go to ruin.

Very friendly people. Walked the beach saw the ship wreck remains. Went 2 the top of the light house. Learned a lot of great history of the lake, ship wrecks, light house & area.
