I needed some minor cleaning/repair on a newer swiss watch (Omega Speedmaster). Rami was able to make time for me same-day. The service was done professionally; he has a passion for watches and it translates into excellent work! Absolutely recommended!
Rami is the person to see if you have a valuable watch that needs repair. Very professional polite but most importantly super knowledgeable! He’s the only one in the Detroit area that can repair an expensive watch and yet he is super humble! I highly recommend him!
Outstanding Service---Rami was a pleasure to meet. He fixed my watch in 15-20 minutes while I waited. Plus, he did a couple of adjustments to assure me my watch was giving accurate time... Rami was helpful with information when buying watches (since I am a new collector) he guided me on where to keep focus when purchasing watches. Very fun to talk to, very personable and friendly--Rami was a relief compared to a jeweler who wasted my time and gave me the run around to fix my watch just prior. I am happy I found him, and he will do ALL of the work my watches may need in the future.

After looking for someone to repair an heirloom Breitling for five years, I was referred to Rami. I picked up my watch last week and was thrilled to have it working for the first time since it was given to me!
I found Rami when no one else could fix my watch. Even Cartier themselves could not help me. My watch had great sentimental value to me so I really wanted it repaired. Rami is an expert and there is no doubt in my mind of it. The man knows what hes doing and that is what you pay for, no bs, no excuses, no nothing. Have had two of my really nice old watches fixed and brought back to life. They work perfectly now. Like new. Rommy is really good. And whats even better than this guys knowledge of watches is the fantastic personalized customer service. I will never take my watches anywhere else. Trying to come up with gift ideas for the person who has everything can be very difficult but, Precise Time helped me do exactly that. My husbands father had passed away and one of the items that he was able to obtain was an old mantel clock. The clock didnt work and it looked like it needed to go into the trash..My husband didnt want to part with it as it had sentimental value. He remembered his dad winding the clock every night before he went to bed. He said that it gave him comfort as a boy knowing that everything was good and dad was locking up the home for the evening.I gave Rami the clock and he told me that he would do his best to get it working and that it could take some time. For me it was worth waiting for.When my husband opened the box, he wept. The clock keeps time and sits on hubbys old roll top desk. He winds it with pride and listens for the familiar sounds. 2022-03-26I have been sending my watches and jewelry here for years and never had better, more professional services. It didnt matter how expensive my watches were, they would always help me get the pieces and clean them up very nicely. I never had to wait to long either. Highly recommend

2022-01-31A complete disaster!Hmmm. All 5-star reviews! I’m sorry to be the one to break the trend but this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had.TL;DR: I took 3 mechanical watches to him – one to be repaired and 2 for routine servicing. After 7 months (!) of delays and terrible communication, I received the 3 watches back in worse condition than when I dropped them off. Another watch repair place had them fixed within a month.I have a hand-wound Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical watch which is about 3 years old. It stopped working. I also have two vintage (1950s-60s) hand-wound watches (Longines, Waltham) that both were running fine but had no service history, so I figured I would get them serviced. Rami took a look and noted that the Waltham case was corroded – he offered to replace it with a different Waltham case he had on hand (Sounds good! Nice guy!). I left the watches with him. He requested payment up-front. After 3 months of no contact from him I checked in via text. He indicated that the Hamilton required parts and he was waiting for them to arrive from the Hamilton factory (OK – no big deal. The supply chain sucks right now. Not his fault). I then asked if I could pick up the other 2 watches (which did not require parts) before long. No response. Over the next 4 months I repeatedly inquired about the other 2 watches. He would respond occasionally (“I’ll call you next week” etc). I finally called him and he lamented the terrible supply chain situation and told me the other two watches would be completed soon. After another couple of weeks, I again texted him and he said the 2 watches were ‘good to go’. He also indicated that given the delays, the Hamilton would need to be sent in for repair. To his credit, he offered to refund the money I had paid for the Hamilton. We agreed on a date for me to pick up the 2 watches. I texted him that AM when I left my house. I arrived at his home (also his place of business), and was greeted at the door by “Who are you?” He had forgotten the appointment and apparently had not checked his texts. He proceeded to tell me that the Waltham case replacement had a ‘wobble’ after he replaced it and would require more work. So after 7 months, when he told me that the watches were ‘good to go’ he actually had lied because he had not completed the work yet! He apologized and told me he would FedEx the watches to me. After leaving I decided that I could no longer trust him and told him I wanted my property back. He returned the watches to me the next day. The Hamilton came with a small bag full of watch parts. The other two watches were not running properly (He said that since I had ‘rushed’ him, he was not able to regulate the watches after servicing them). I then took the 3 watches to a different watch repair business in Plymouth, MI. They were all serviced/ repaired within 4 weeks (without ordering any parts or sending the watch out)!! Overall, I get the impression that Rami has taken on too much work and is very disorganized. Despite the testimonials attesting to his skills at watch repair, I found him to be incompetent in that regard, and dishonest in his interactions with me. Oh, and I have not received a refund!!

2022-05-18Guy is nice and all.. but will give you the run around for months. Watch still isn’t right, gave up after multiple times. Also doesn’t keep you in line, if other watches bring in more expect to get pushed to the side.

2019-12-09I recently had the pleasure of working with Rami on a vintage watch repair. My father had recently passed and as we were cleaning his house we stumbled upon a baggie ( yes a zip lock baggie) full of old discarded watches.All of these watches were in bad shape, but one stood out. Upon further inspection we noted that this one completely wrecked watch was actually my grandfather’s retirement Longines from 1961, complete with his initials and retirement date on the back.This watch was in such bad shape that I could barely read the inscription or see the face clearly. In fact we nearly threw it out because it was in such bad shape.Because of the sentimental value we embarked upon a crusade to have it repaired. This led us to send this timepiece to Longines US headquarters where we were informed they could not repair. They sent the watch to the Switzerland HQ where after a couple of months we were informed that because of the age they also could not repair.After another month we received the watch back, disappointed as we were.We did not give up and after a lot of research found Rami.Rami was able to do what the world headquarters could not.This was no small task; the watch was in horrible shape with a lot of rust and many broken parts including the crystal.Rami was able to not only fix this watch, but he restored it to its original grandeur. I was really overwhelmed with his repair and am not ashamed to admit a bit emotional.I was able to gift this watch to my son and he now wears his Great-Grandfathers watch with pride.Rami is absolutely the best and I will gladly use his services going forward and suggest everyone reading this post do the same.Thanks Rami for providing my family this great gift.

2020-04-29A week ago, my beloved Fossil watch of 10 years fell out of my pocket and, with a sickening THUD, hit the pavement next to my foot. I talked myself down from being upset about it, it can be repaired, etc...but most places are closed because of COVID. I finally found Ramis listing a few days later by expanding my search radius, and Im so glad I did! I left a message and he called me back the next day, so I was able to drop it off to his house. He took my payment over the phone and had it turned around in just a few days! And...my goodness....it looks BRAND NEW. He cleaned all the little glass shards out, put in a fresh battery, and shined up the band. VERY happy with the result and worth the money!!😍 Thank you, Rami!

2017-08-08Rami, Thankyou for everything you have done for my family and I, Rami Fixed my great great grandmothers pocket watch that couldnt be fixed for generations people turned my great grandfather away and my father away, and said it wasnt fixable. But Rami Took on the challenge and because of him my Great Great Grandmother watch is working again. Rami is one of the very few people that are left that have the patience and precision to fix a complex watch like my great great grandmothers from the early 1800s. He is also a Perfectionist, The appreciation couldnt be great enough, and i recommend him to anyone who has a sentimental piece like mine that it will be in safe hands.Thankyou Rami!Sincerely, Ben

2020-03-06Rami is amazing with watches. I made an appointment to see him at his home where he took me downstairs into his office. He replaced one battery on one watch, sized a new watch that I had purchased (being very patient with me until the size of the band felt just right after numerous adjustments). But the biggest thing was that he was able to buff out a scratch on another watch that I really liked and was afraid no one could fix it. All the while we had a very pleasant conversation. I highly recommend Rami and Precise Time Watch Repair to anyone needing their watches repaired, battery replaced and/or sized. His pricing is very reasonable, less than what you would pay at a jewelry store. Remember to call ahead and set up an appointment - you will not be disappointed.

2019-12-30Rami was so awesome to work with... I contacted him about a Gucci watch of my mothers from the 80s. Being new to the area, I didnt know where to take it or even what it would need. It had been sitting for over 10 years, and the pearl face was starting to crackle. I had no idea what condition it was in, or when it had last been maintained.Rami took great care to inspect and clean up my watch - he even had a genuine face to replace my crackled one. I couldnt be happier now that its fully returned to working order. It came out better than I could have imagined.. it looks and works just like new!I learned a lot from him about the proper care of timepieces and the length of his training during this process. Hes extremely knowledgeable and I cant recommend him enough!

2020-08-01Received FANTASTIC service at Precise Time Watch Repair today! I walked in with a broken crown & stem for a ladies Seiko watch and expected to pick it up in a week or two. After only 30 minutes, replacement of the needed part and a quick overall review, I walked out with a fully functional precision time piece that looked brand new!If you need ANYTHING for a watch, call to make an appointment and prepare to be totally satisfied!

2021-08-11Rami recently just serviced my fathers old navigator watch he was issued in the USAF. I was very impressed with his ability to turn it around in such a short amount of time and I am glad to have something so important to me back to running condition!
