A big thank you to Jake who has always been my technician! He came out today for scheduled service for interior and exterior. He has always been great. I recently had siding replaced on my house and before he started the exterior treatment he came back in and asked how long it had been. Because the siding work was recent, he thought we should wait a little longer on exterior treatment to avoid any damage to the paint. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that. Because he took the extra time to ask about that, he saved my siding! Thank you so much Jake!

Lisa Mitchell was an absolute delight to work with on my initial treatment. Very personable, professional, and knowledgeable about the service. She carefully asks questions and listens to all feedback and responds accordingly. The wonderful thing is I liked Lisa from a former company we hired but could not recall the exact name of the company. We finally went with Proof and she showed up at my door. Even though they couldn’t perform the outside spraying do to rain they kept the appointment to pray any troubling areas inside. Proof associate Ryan was excellent! He was punctual, knowledgeable and courteous. Very happy with initial experience.

The 2 guys that came & helped me were amazing! They came during there time slot, called me to give me a heads up they were arriving in 30 minutes. Walked me through what they did, and what they treated. He then even went out of his way to show me where there’s a possible opening! The man on the phone who helped me and set up my appointment was also amazing, looking for alternatives so I wouldn’t get charged a lot of $. I highly recommend, they did a very nice job!
My technician, Mitch, did a great job by agreeing not to use any poisons but only remove the nest containing the queen and many other wasps. He explained this could be done as the remaining wasps would have no purpose after the queen was gone so they would leave after a day or so. This was the ideal outcome so no damage to the remaining environment will occur. I thank you for the helpful information and would gladly refer your services.

Proof did an excellent job!! We had our yard sprayed for mosquitos and ticks. Mitch was so nice and answered our questions and sprayed exactly where we asked!It was nice that he came up and talked to us before he started to confirm what we wanted and came up once he was done to check in. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking at getting their yard sprayed!!
We were not satisfied with the service. I mentioned to the technician that he missed a spot visible from our living room. He said he would see me that he was spraying now. He never came to see what the problem was. He just packed up and left. I stood on the porch thinking he would see me and remember he was supposed to come see me. He seemed to be rushing through the process. Now we are left seeing the missed area. Not the way to retain your customers.
I called in the AM for a possible same day service because I heard noises in the night that I thought might be mice in my home. Garrett came out the same morning. He did a complete inspection and showed me potential entry points in my home sprayed for other insects and set out bait traps. Overall a great experience. He reassured me that he found no major insect or rodent problems. Very nice, informative and personal. Thank you!!

First time meeting Our service Tech, Mike T. Super friendly, knew his product and made his suggestions for our first application. He explained what to expect and if we had ANY issues, to call him and he will take care of what we needed. He had excellent customer service.
Its really nice to have a regular technician coming to your house, Mike is a great!He remembers past issues to check up on and comes out when new issues arise in a timely manner. The service and the quality of the work that is done we are extremely satisfied with.
I had Andrew and he was phenomenal! We used to use Orkin but they did not solve our problem and did not seem to care. Andrew was very thorough and seemed more than willing to help us solve the problem we are having with mice. He was extremely friendly and personable. He also seemed very knowledgable about how to solve the issue. I am very pleased with the service we received.
Great job and great service. Mike T came into the house when I noted that after the last visit I experienced a spider invasion like none I have ever seen. I had never had the interior of the house treated and so was a bit concerned about residual odors and the impact of this on my pets, but I left the animals outside until the spray dried and we were all fine. Thank you Mike T for keeping the spiders at bay.

I decided to call proof after Facebook recommendations and within maybe thirty seconds of Having left a message, I received a call back. While I was initially interested in tackling carpenter bees outdoors and a lower level bathroom that had some sort of small bug issue, I was impressed enough with the price points to sign up for an annual program. He even let me email him pics of the bug type in my bathroom and responded to me in the evening to let me know they could handle it. My pest controlExpert Jake called about a half hour prior to his arrival, all within the promised window. He was professional, informative and thorough. He let me know that because of the inclimate weather, they would call me so he could return and redo the exterior as rain made the initial application less effective. And within hours of his leaving, they called to schedule me for two weeks out. He was also cautious not to spray freshly painted areas and said he would hit them in two weeks. Without asking, he put on footies upon entry and exit. I am super excited to have them in place for all my creepy bug needs :)

I called the main line with a few questions regarding my offices services. Andrea was so nice and helpful but, knew Scott would be able to answer more of my questions. She told me he had a very full schedule but that she would ask him to call. He called me right away and answered all of my questions thoroughly and very patiently. We contacted Proof Pest Control since we discovered mice in our home. They were very helpful from the start. Scheduling the appointment was easy and they had plenty of availability. Jon came out to our home and did a great job. He provided a lot of information and explained everything in detail. He was very friendly and had a personal touch. My service guy was thorough and explained everything on how the products work. Every visit they dont use the same spray so the insects arent used to it.Staff has changed since Covid and getting someone to service my home has been a hassle. My appts get confusing, some services were taken away and I was told that those services should have never been performed at my house.

Latest Update: just had technician, Mitch (from Ann Arbor) service our home and am so pleased by his work and knowledge! He was super friendly, very polite and eager to help with any concerns I had. He definitely represented the company positively and won my business over! Extremely satisfied.Update: business retention customer service rep reached out to me. They acknowledged, admitted and apologized for their errors in the handling of our account. Turns out we overpaid and was owed a credit too! Ive decided to give this business another opportunity since they did follow up and are trying to correct their blunder.Froze our account because of a delayed payment (a month late) which we took responsibility for. Customer representative didnt extend a courtesy call informing us of this, or try to retain our business.
Shane was fantastic, very friendly and he answered all of our questions about our pest control issues. We’ve been using Proof for a few years now and even though a competitor came through our neighborhood offering lower prices last year, we stuck with Proof due to their fantastic quality service and the professional staff.

Very efficient and professional.Jon has been servicing our home in Rochester Hills for over a year (maybe 2) and we have literally gone from a storm of ants (big surprise when we first moved in) to NONE! It’s funny how something so little like an ant can ruin your comfort at home and I’m so thankful they’re gone! Jon comes out every few months and sprays the house and whatever it is, it works! My inspector,Scott arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and told me he can help me out as I’ve got yellow jackets under my siding. Told me how the chemical works and to stay away from area. Said it should take a couple of days for activity to go away. As we don’t know how big the nest is, but hearing them through my wall I’m hoping it works. I recommend this business. Today (12/9/19), technician Michael Tinsman did a great job! After he had completed the routine exterior service and I asked him to please also do the interior of the garage. Michael said, Of course, happy to. Proof Pest employees and service is always great.
After a 20 minute warning phone call, Andrew showed up on time. He is very pleasant and polite and explained everything he was going to do. This is our second treatment - the first one kept the carpenter ants at bay - we didnt see any until around 3 weeks out. This treatment should be very helpful in killing the balance of the colony. We are very happy with the treatment.

Although there were differences in what was told to me by the salesperson on the phone vs. what the technician said would/could actually be done, Nate was very informative, helpful and pleasant when he came out. Subscribed for one year service. They charged me twice for that and promised it would be done at years end. Two monthly charges just showed up on my amex. No response for a refund. Had to dispute charges for a service i didnt even ask for and was guaranteed not to be charged for. Terrible service

Eddy was the third person to come to my place from Proof Pest Control and it is because of his diligence and professionalism that I am giving you 5 stars. He just came for a follow up appointment and I was beyond impressed with the job he did. He really went above and beyond. Eddy addressed all of the entry points interior and exterior for our mouse problem , steps that the first 2 people had not addressed. The attention to detail was clear and I am confident in the service he provided.Eddy is a great guy. Never would I have imagined that an exterminator visit could ever be this enjoyable. John from Proof Pest was everything you hope for in a service provider - professional, informative, on-time, and super friendly. He let me know know what he observed and what he did with respect to treatment and gave me recommendations on areas we could work on to improve effectiveness. He assured me (along with Connor who managed the contract over the on the phone) that they guarantee satisfaction and will work to address any issues that arise. Mike came treat my daughters home. Upon inspection he did not observe any activity. He was very kind, and was great with her dogs. Mitch from Ann Arbor came out to do a follow-up and noted where most of the mouse traps were active and re-stocked them. Also found a place on the outside of the house that may be letting the vermin inside so placed an outdoor trap. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. Im happy that he came out.
Leroy was amazing!! He found a yellow jacket nest in a crack in our concrete and immediately took care of it, I had no idea and my 3 kids walk in that area all the time!

Great company to work with over the past year. I was unable to be home for my last appointment and did not get the interior done (which at the time I thought would be fine). However, due to excessive amounts of rain this year the creepy pests started slowly coming in again. Jon came out and did a re-service inside my home and did a fantastic job. A very responsive team and a company that cares.
Excellent company, excellent service, excellent technician. I originally contracted their services for a rental property that I was in. I didnt want to spend a lot of money, but I had a terrible carpenter ant problem. Their service was very reasonable, prompt and most importantly it worked. I now have them servicing my new home which is deep in the woods. After one visit, I already see a huge improvement. John the technician, was very thorough, checking every crevice in my house, suggesting places where caulking would help cut down on spiders coming in. He also knocked down all the spider webs on the exterior of the house to aid in the extermination of the spiders. I highly recommend them. Thanks John!
We have had an issue with ants in our home this summer. Carl, our technician, has been very helpful in treating our home. I now understand how ants operate, (but I still cannot stand them). Although the offending ant colonies have not been eradicated yet, I am relieved to know that Proof and Carl are diligently working towards that goal. Carl is a great guy and very helpful.

First off, very responsive company. The problem is that their treatments just dont seem to work for Spiders. I just canceled the service because theyve been out several times and there are no changes. Good for minor issues but I wouldnt recommend for spiders.Update: Proofs very professional customer service personnel reached out and helped me understand why we are seeing spiders and have a well qualified technician coming out this week to address the problem. Fingers crossed that the spider issue is resolved. Appreciate their prompt response.

I cant say enough about this service. I recommend them to everyone. My friend uses a very well known brand name company and she swears she has more pests now than when she originally started using them. Proof has eliminated all my pest issues and I live in a very rural area. No spiders in my house this winter! They were also very quick to come out when I had a small nest that I couldnt identify...they were the most aggressive hornets that live in Michigan, it was huge relief to know my kids and dog are safe. They offer so many choices of services and products as well. Kid and pet friendly
Met our technician Miguel, who was prompt and very courteous. He explained the process, and even worked around my curious dogs! I’m very impressed with the quality and personnel of this company and highly recommend it!
I called them about a quarter ago when I started noticing ants and spiders popping up more and more around the house. The first visit out they did a treatment where it was meant to lure out and deter bugs from staying. The second time they came out they sprayed heavier duty stuff to kill any still hanging around and keep away new ones. Super professional and Ill post back if my opinion changes.

Proof came to my house and diagnosed my issues , sprayed the entire yard, and the inside of my home for spiders, earwigs, ants etc. they laid bait traps for the boles that were ruining my lawn. I am very pleased and happy with the quarterly pricing. If I see spiders, ants, bees making a nest or pretty much anything, they will come back for no charge! Pest Control, Jon saved us $150+ and was super knowledgeable, taking the time to explain what the insects were, why they created “nests” in our garage and pool shed and what to do to prevent them from making a home there in the future.Jon really put our minds to ease and we all (including my 3 year old) learned something. Jacob was out yesterday and sprayed the exterior of our home. I have never hired a pest control company before but when I discovered bees making a home in a crack in the front porch I knew I could not eradicate them myself. We receive the visit from Jonathan/Jon to work on a carpentes ants invasion, so far we have not see an ant and its the 2nd day, so far so good. Jon did an inspection of all our house and explain to me in a very detail way and easy to understand the problem with ants, how they bahave, patterns, etc. He was very polite and funny and seems experienced, with attention to detail and respectful of our home. I most said that I was worry about the service after the call I did to schedule the appointment, I got the feeling I was being ignore and in general not getting a good costumer service, but when we receive the home visit by Jon, I was glad we decide to hire this company.

Dec 2018Mike C. was out today for quarterly service. sprayed inside and out, got the cobwebs out of my porch chandelier. Mike also located two areas for possible mouse entry (not something I tend to notice), notified me, and placed steelwool in the holes, Im sure glad he did since its the time of year mice like to get inside. Mike C was very courteous and answered all my questions. He cleared the cobwebs from the outside of the house and sprayed for bugs before coming inside. He was able to tell me what kind of spiders we had in our basement and sprayed the whole house, being careful to avoid the babys toys and dogs bedding. Since hiring Proof, weve had far fewer issues with bugs, especially spidees in the house.

2022-06-17We had our initial service performed this morning and Ryan was GREAT! He arrived on time and very pleasant. He spent time explaining all of the services he planned to provide, as well as educated us on the various insects in our area. He made sure that we were very comfortable with our expectations and we think he did a very thorough job. We would definitely recommend him and Proof for anyone who is looking for a new pest control company!

I even purchased all the things they said to purchase afterwords and still the same thing.After leaving this review i received a call from Mitch the service manager and my technician who were very understanding with my frustration and concerns. We came up with a plan and I’m hoping and praying it’s going to work this time.

2022-02-04Ryan came out today for our initial service inspection and bait set up. Weve been hearing some rodents somewhere in the home and store bought solutions have not worked. He was very thorough in taking the time to explain the approach as well as hearing out my issues in order to make sure we get it taken care of.I cannot comment yet on the quality of the pest extermination quite yet but first impression of the service is he was on time, communicative and very knowledgeable. Feeling hopeful that this problem will be resolved soon enough.

2022-02-28Good experience with proof pest control to date. They have been servicing our house for a year or so and I have seen a dramatic decrease in 6 and 8 legged invaders. Garrett is a technician that has been to our house a few times, and is always very pleasant and professional.

2022-02-03Ryan is the third technician we have had at the house from proof. He is the first one who did not ask where the problem is and ONLY spray that area! He was much more thorough and knowledgeable. He also explained things much better and with more detail. I feel much more confident that our ant problem will be resolved because he brought a liquid bait AND went around the house himself and sprayed where he could reach. The first two only sprayed where the problem is which didnt sit well with me. It seems if you only spray where the problem is, the ants will march on to a different area that doesnt have poison sprayed. We will see how it goes. Regardless, Ryan is the one you want at your house if you want a good job done. Thanks Ryan!!
