FOUR TIMES! I filed a police report, found the perp but the DA would not press charges but ultimately, its Public Storages fault for their lax security and poor survelliance.

Comment: Public Storage Woodland Hills is unique in many ways. It’s convenient to the 101 Freeway, it’s open early and late, it’s clean, temperature controlled, the staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s even a lighthouse beacon that flashes on and off so you can see it as you approach from the east on Ventura Blvd. If your move is early, Duncan Donuts is a couple hundred yards east. If your move is strenuous, there is California Chicken Cafe about the same distance to the west. The only problem you might have is that it has so many things going for it that (right now, at least) it might be harder to get into than an exclusive private school. But, if the size space you need is available, you will be a happy camper.

Richard here has been soo kind and and extremely helpful any time I need something or my mom needs help and Im not able to be there. I made a reservation online for later in the week. The next day I had a staff member reach out and confirm the reservation and confirm their hours of operation.I showed up on Friday and Michelle (trainee) and Nathan (manager) were there to assist me with the reservation. Comment: This place and the staff are both great. Ive used the facility several times since it was built, maybe 10 years ago, and it always seems fresh and new. The hardest thing Ive had to do is figure out how to write this review. Also, watch out for a couple of small hidden fees: to buy a lock and to buy insurance. Minimal in both cases, but still a surprise. And the rolling carts are locked up after the staff is gone but the facility is still open. Finally, the bills run month-to-month, so if you rent mid-month, you have another bill coming in 14 days, not 30.

Comment: Dont rent from this place unless you want your rent to go up every year. They do not honor or respect loyalty. The only way to keep your rent the same or lower is to cancel your contract and move everything to another storage room. I was paying over $400.00 a month and had been there for years. I just happened to be in the lobby when I over heard the manager renting the same size unit for almost half what I was paying. I was told that yes it goes up every year and yes the only way to get it reduced is to move to another locker with a new contract. So I promptly moved out.

Comment: My experience with Valerie was superb. I had water damage from their roof leaking for several rains. Valerie gave me Jonathan Royas phone number, who I called everyday for a week. NO RESPONSE. I am not a happy camper.

Comment: This is already my second time using Public storage.The customer service as always is excellent & superb !!!Very knowledgeable & friendly staff !!!And rental rates seem to be very fair to me.I highly recommend public storage.
