Comment: Beware! Scammers. They give you an entry rate and then will DOUBLE the monthly cost. I haven’t even been in my unit for a year and the cost has increased twice! She was polite, and professional even thou she stayed almost 20 mn late.She also walked me to the gate to show me how to get in, then she walked me to the building, up 3 floors to my locker and opened it for me.I would recommend this location to be a preferred choice for storage.Thank you for going the extra mile.

But every time I come to my storage Mario always makes the experience welcoming and fun. He seems to remember me every time I come and im sure he does the same for other customers. It really helps having a friendly and knowledgeable worker. The facility is always well maintained and a breeze to go in and out of. I highly recommend this location.

We had our trailer stolen right under their nose, someone ran into the front of it and two weeks ago went to put on current dmv tags only to find the door lock had been broken and someone was either sleeping in it or was trying to steal something. Luckily we do not keep anything in it. And now I got notice they are increasing rent by40 percent. Anyone know of a good safe Rv storage??

When he called me back, he was super sweet, yet, so professional. I was prepared to give a detailed argument regarding my concern, but, Mario, M., took the wind out of my sails, when he responded with a very fair resolution for me. Comment: Scam alert: They took my money and gave my my unit, however when it was time for me to vacate, I went into the office and paid the full balance with my credit card. 10 days later I was called and rudely told that my balance had not been paid and the balance increased by $81 due to extra late fees. This is a SCAM to increase the bill. My credit card had thousands of dollars of credit available, and the cc company said there had been no charges returned. However, PHILLIP, one of the RUDEST, nastiness employees I have ever encountered basically told me I was a LIAR and that my credit card had been denied. A blatant lie. The error was on their end with their cc machine. Phillip told me that he was looking at “proof” that my card had been denied. He demanded payment of the additions unfounded charges and started yelling at me. I had no option to hang up. I paid the original balance in full, but they still rudely insist I pay an additional $81. HA

They didnt quite know who I was speaking about and then when I described in detail they all remembered him and one young lady in particular, Manely (pronounced: Mah-nel-lee) totally went out of her way to find him for me. I explained to her she didnt have to go through so much trouble because to find him she would have to look up his information and figure out which space he rented and then walk there to find him… Which she did THREE different times.Needless to say he was gone, however, it takes absolutely nothing away from Manelys effort and her obvious commitment to excellent customer service,(which someone such as myself greatly appreciates since I was in the customer service business for about 20 years as well).So I tip my cap in respect to Miss Manely for her efforts and Public storage for having the right people in the right places! I show up right after work at 6:00 pm to pick up my suit case I have an early flight the next morning and they have a sign that says you cant access the unit after 6 pm temporarily I asked the girl if I can just run up for 1 minute I came straight from work she said no there is an alarm. Really?! Who is she lying to? How come in the past I was able to access u til 9? So would they come at 9 to put an alarm? The customer service is 0 and the attitude on top of it is horrible. Comment: On January 18th, 2019 my unit was sold in the auction.The Public Storage located at 4820 San Fernando Rd, Glendale, CA 91204 did wrongful sale of my items due to the following reasons:1. The facility manager was negligent to the incident which have happened (theft). In October 2018 I had 2 break-in to my storage and on-side stuff have promised to give me credit for inconvenience. Also, I had to change my storage unit because I was scared that this type of accident can happen again. District manager ( Filipe) did not even follow up on the incident or on my credit request for all the stress and inconvenience which I have experienced. He did not take into consideration safety issue which I been trying to raise awareness about. He did not bother to follow up at all!2. No registered or certified mail was sent to me prior to auction.3. Correspondence sent by me was ignored. In my email I was giving date when I am going to pay!!!4. Manager sold my items for significantly less than the value of property lost ( $250 VS $80,000).5. My unit was sold to someone affiliated to Public Storage employees as the buyer is aware of the value of art ( only people with art degree are familiar with the value of art).Please note, I am still in process of submitting the evidence to police about the theft which have happened TWICE, and if Mr. Filipe would be more responsible, he would of known that he is about to sell the evidence for criminal investigation at his property.Public storage head office refused. to investigate employee’s performance at Public Storage located at San Fernando Rd. There is significant safety problems which I have been speaking about for a while, and as the management profits from “set-up” auction sales.I need return of my property ASAP

Its kinda like were friends that have known each other for years.I remember when I was having trouble locking my space, and I had accidentally left it unlocked. I got several calls from them. I didnt answer any of the calls because I didnt recognize the number.The messages seemed like they were more concerned than anything else. There wasnt any quoting of company policy. Instead, they were concerned that I may have lost my key and had left it unlocked intentionally.Of course, I told them that I hadnt, and asked if they could lock it for me. I was at work and couldnt get away.I always see them cleaning! Either they are clean freaks, or Public Storage are slave drivers. (Jk). Comment: AVOID THIS LOCATION!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I made a reservation online for both a storage space and a vehicle space and a few hours later one of their representatives called me to confirm both of my orders. Right after she sent me a confirmation email with the total balance of what I would have to pay for the first month for each space, they both had the $1 for first month special included in the confirmation email. When I showed up with a truck full of stuff the next day, the manager, Juana, wouldnt honor that price because she said she could only apply the special to one of the spaces. Even though I understand the policy, the lady on the phone never said anything about that and even in the subsequent email she sent me right after our conversation there was no claim of that either. I had a specific cost in writing from the company and they shrugged it off unapologetically. Ultimately, I wouldnt have cared but Juana was extremely nasty about it and offered no positive customer service. She just had the attitude of it is what it is and at that point I resorted to call the district manager, Felipe Gomez, he basically had the same attitude and did not attempt to make the situation any better. I worked in retail for years and I know how to treat customers and the way these people went about business that day is nothing short of insensitive and incompetent towards customer relations. Avoid this location at all cost!

I had occasion to visit the office numerous times during my recent move, and I was very impressed. Daniel, Roblis, and Arty were always very accommodating and very helpful. In addition, they were friendly and well-mannered and never made me feel that I was a bother. Public Storage is very fortunate to have these three gentlemen on their employee roster. Comment: The staff is nice, and it was easy to get out unit and everything. The price started great, but if theyre going to start charging more because their property value went up, you would think they would have enough money to hire a janitor to clean the urine from the stairwell, or the scent of it from the elevator. Or at least clean the cobwebs from the walls.

Comment: I am very Displeased with Public Storage. I have a history with renting from this company before this last experience.I rented a small unit Since 6/2013. I had my Mother In Laws China and Crystal and my Father In Law antique train set plus some other sentimental items.I had check on my unit in Februrary 2015 and all my 13 boxes were there. I went this last sunday to clear out my storage unit much to my Surprise my 13 boxes were gone and in place was 6 items not mine. I immediately went to office and the clerk on duty said that there was nothing she could do because I did not carry their insurance. She told me to go to my homeowners insurance How can I when I do not have pictures or Sale receipts. I cannot even take them to Small Claims court because I have not back up. I said How could this happen. She just told be she could not help me.I did ask if they re-rent my unit and she said no. She also said that I probably gave someone on the account permission to come and clear it out.. I have 2 sons who dont even know where this unit is. So it is not them. 1 is in North Carolina and the other son is not aware of the storage unit.So I called Corporate and they gave me the Managers phone number which I call immediately on Sunday and she did not answer. I left a message with my phone number and no call came. So I called Tuesday morning again and got the message machine again. Well No Call again this PM.This company has terrible customer service. It seems that they dont care. WHAT the Hell kind of Company is this. Not getting back to their customers. I feel like have been wronged.This company Stinks. And Is not trust worthy....I also think that there is a homeless person living in one of the units.I Say Do Not trust them and DO NOT RENT A UNIT from them,UPSET CUSTMER

Comment: I went in to the storage facilities to purchase boxes and the two young ladies (heather and Leslie) were very helpful and even asked if I needed a storage unit. If I am ever in need of a storage unit I would definitely go back to this one. They offered me excellent customer service so I will be recommend my friends and family here.

Comment: Awesome experience! Vladimir & Heather helped me out with finding the perfect unit that I needed. I originally reserved a 10 x 30 through the reservation line however my car wouldnt be able to fit. So they went out of their way to find the perfect unit that would fit my apartment and car, transferred the reservation, was able to get me a way better deal that was $100 off as well as use the $1 for the 1st month special. They saved my life as I only had today to get a rental before leaving town! I totally recommend them to anybody in need of a unit! :)

Comment: My main Goal on this trip from April 10-April 28 2014 was to empty my 10 X 10 Storage unit that I have had since 2003. The personnel at you facility are by far the best people I could have ever dreamed of working with.Deshia, Johnny and Heather were the utmost in professionalism.They (all three of them) were very polite and caring with my safety concerns of my well being, while I was alone trying to clear out my storage.I dont know if it is your company policy, but, I greatly appreciated them occasionally checking on me from time to time. I felt at ease and comfortable going about my business knowing no one was going to approach me in a harmful manner.(Mind you, I can handle most situation when it comes to my safety, but, when you are all engulfed in your storage, and not aware someone might do you harm . It was a great relief to know that there were someone that cared was close by.)Therefore I would highly recommend the PUBLIC STORAGE FACILTY @ 4820 San Fernando Road, Glendale, CA 91204 ..AND ALSO RECOMMEND THAT DESHIA, JOHNNY AND HEATHER ALL GET RAISES FOR THEIR EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS.
