Comment: If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I tried for a couple of weeks to schedule a viewing of one of their properties, and received no communication. When Zillow and the like asked if I had heard back I stated NO. Finally, after doing that a couple of times, I finally got a viewing scheduled for today, June 18. This morning I received a phone call confirming my appointment. After making arrangements to get to the property, I pulled up my text thread to get the code to get into the property. Lo and behold, it had been taken off the market. NO phone call informing me just a text. This is highly unprofessional and discourteous. I would never rent from a property managed by this company.

Comment: Bad players in the Property Management business. We own parties and would not inflict PURE Property on them. Their main crime is charging a monthly fee of $27 for a “Residents Benefits Package”. This is of use to folks who have a hard time paying their bills on time, need a bump in their credit score, aren’t disciplined enough to change the air filter regularly, and so on. The issue is that it’s non-optional. Every tenant must pay the package each month, regardless if it benefits them. They’ve even removed it from their lease language as there is actually no longer any mention of it in their lease. It’s a devious practice that speaks to their character as business partners. I’m a consumer like everyone reading this. Go to Real Property Management for all your property management needs if you’re looking for straight up pricing and services that look after both owners and the tenants.

Jennifer came to know my family personally and she always treated us with compassion and respect. I spent some time as a landlord a long time ago and I understand the challenges she faces daily. But no matter the circumstances, Jennifer was always so kind and generous, and always available and responsive. It’s been three years since we were tenants, and yesterday, I contacted Jennifer for a favor. My teenage daughter had accidentally shipped a package to the previous address, and I was hoping she could contact the new tenants to help us recover the delivery. She responded immediately, remembered us in detail, and had already reached out to the new tenants on our behalf. Jennifer is amazing! And it is a great example of how the customer service provided by Pure has been and continues to be outstanding! It is also a great example of how a small act of kindness can have a huge impact. Comment: Slow to respond during occupancy and when issues moving out. Unit had multiple issues upon move in and they required professional, cleaning, carpet cleaning and handyman when moving out which seemed extreme. They also didnt do a move out inspection with us when requested they said it had to be done before out move out date which was never communicated to us. Charged us $20 to screw in two light bulbs they said were burnt out and they were not they were just unscrewed but Ive never heard of being charged for burnt out lightbulbs and $10 each is a lot. Personally fixed multiple things on the property on our dime and only lived there 14mo and property was in way better condition after we moved out than when we arrived. They also tried to charge us to removed glassware that was there when we moved in.

Comment: Avoid working with this company if possible. Advertised pictures of the property were inaccurate. There was no yard like advertised and the walls were different colors when we moved in. Property hadn’t been cleaned either. We lived there for over a year and upon move-out we only received a small portion of our deposit. Deductions were listed multiple times so they’d keep more of our money despite us being awesome tenants. I filed disputes and after several weeks and no one has given me answers. If you want a good property management company, this isn’t it.

Comment: Probably one of the best property management companies we’ve ever used. My husband is active duty military and we tend to move every 3 years and have had lots of experience with different companies over the years. Our journey with Benefit National started last august (2021) when we found out the rental we were living in in Lake Elsinore was being put up for sale.First, Valerie showed up the property and was absolutely amazing! She mentioned to use that they only allow applications to people who actually tour the properties which is a plus so your not competing with a bunch of people for applications. We placed an application for a property the following day (Sunday) and by Monday she was on the phone with me trying to get everything in order for our application like service animal documents, photos, and other things before sending it to the owner. By Wednesday we had been given approval and paid our deposit and we took possession of the property the following weekend. Valerie did our move in inspection for us before we arrived to get the keys and had everything filled out, we just needed to look it over and sign. She was extremely detailed in her move in inspection! After moving in we noted a few thing (maintenance and other things we wanted noted) and she was quick to get them added.Second, maintenance was a great! Every time we needed something, it was done quickly and efficiently. The handyman they would send was always very professional, great attitude and very quick working. Tickets were easy to submit and always got taken care of quickly.Our only concern was the landscapers that we’re taking care of the property! I don’t know if they are brought in by the owner or Benefit but honestly they barely were at the property for more than 20 minutes every weekend and we ended up cleaning up all the clippings, grass shavings and other things that they would not clean up! The even wouldn’t edge the backyard or missed patches of grass. They also never once spoke with us about increasing or decreasing watering times, fertilization or anything. They would just be in and out.Our move out inspection was over the phone which was concerning since they were not able to Pinpoint specific things that they wanted us to fix/correct which, but they gave us a list of things to make sure we did before move out (cleaning, carpets, etc.) and made sure to note and discuss everything that was noted on the move in inspection sheet (again thank you Valerie for your thoroughness). We got most of our security deposit back with no issues (we had a couple deductions that we were unable to fix ourselves that happened while our movers were packing/ moving stuff out of the home) and it can promptly (certified mail). This is truly a very honest company and you can tell that they try to give the best service they can, and aren’t out to buckle and dime you like other management companies. If we end up having to move back to the area in a few years and have to rent we will absolutely be using this company again!

Truly one of the most amazing property managers that I believe I’ll ever deal with. I believe that in this type of business, you really need people who know how to deal with many personalities as it is a people business. The rental property was unclean: flithy dishwasher, crumbs inside every kitchen drawer, filthy tile, skid marks inside toilet bowls, etc upon moving in, which is Benefit Nationals responsibility. However, the home owner agreed to pay for cleaning of the floors out of pocket for us. We cleaned everything else ourselves before unpacking. We realized the microwave was broken and contacted Benefit National, who once again contacted the home owner and coordinated with Benefit National maintenance man to install it. Each year a home inspector made an appointment with us to inspect the rental home (inside and out), took photographs of the home/yard for the home owner to review. As I mentioned, we rented this property for 4 years. Loved the location. Nice home and neighborhood. Not once were smoke detectors inspected by them. I think they should do that. Overall, it was easy to pay rent through the Venefit National website. Communication was good with employees. Calls/emails were returned promptly. The home inspector did an excellent job with our move out walk through during the pandemic. 4 stars to Benefit National.

Comment: I bought a fixer rental in Murrietta which is fourty miles from where I live. I was planning on managing it myself, however, I had a very difficult time getting contractors to call me back. After two weeks of frustration, I decided to hire a property manager. I spoke to several companies and when I spoke to Christine at House Match we clicked right away.I met her at the house the next day, signed the agreement and let her use her vast vendor resources. We had to do, roofing repair, plumbing, electric work, drywall repair, install all new smoke detectors, install carpet in three rooms, and had exterior trim and several interior walls repainted. We even did some extensive landscaping clean up and sprinkler repairs.All of the contractors that I spoke to on the phone and met at the house were great, very professional and did outstanding quality work.House Match ( Christine and team ) were wonderful to work with and did a great job communicating with me.On top of all of the work they did to get my house ready to rent, they found a well qualified tenant in one week.Needless to say, Im extremely pleased I hired House Match. They have absolutely gone above and beyond. They respond quickly, they are easy to get ahold of, and the nicest people when you speak to them on the phone. My husband and I are currently in escrow with selling our home now and have been looking and dealing with rental company’s for the past month. Every company was the same, they don’t call you back, don’t answer the phone, and when they do answer the phone they are short and rude, and you basically playing a waiting game hoping you get a house. We are in a complete panic is to find a home and then we came across this management company. They have given me hope! I could never recommend another leasing management company as highley as I recommend this one. I even accidently over paid on an application fee and requested a refund by email and I heard back within minutes later to see they already Processed my refund! Comment: We had such a hard time looking for properties in Temecula/ Murrieta. There is little/ to no response from this company when you contact them, their receptionist cannot transfer your call for leasing and they will not allow you to apply for any homes until you see them in person. Seeing the home in person would be great but the receptionist expresses to us how popular the properties are and how they have so many applicants already, but proceeds to tell you that you need to wait until appointments to view are available to apply. It’s really not suited to assist customers and isn’t customer user friendly at all. It took three days to line up a computer generated appointment to see the home. We graciously took a humans offer to see and view another home from another property management company. She answers calls, returns emails and walks you thru the home herself and takes your application for approval immediately. This company literally offers their property as a threat to some one applying before you, feels pretty hopeless in a stressful time. We are very let down as we were very interested in the home in Tuscany Village. We are sorry our family had no chance at all to even consider it or be considered for it.

Comment: Being a Tennant who moved out from one of the properties they managed, we had recent fire and smoke damage to the house and our insurance redid the interior of the house, new hardwood floors, and paint through out the entire house. We stayed in the house after the repairs were done about a month before we moved out to a new home. The house was beautiful after the work was done. When we first moved in there were small holes in some of the room, very dirty walls, carpet was stained, the from and back yards needed a good amount of work and grass. The house looked as good as it did when the work was done a month prior. We hired a house cleaner to make sure everything was tip top, and a carpet cleaner service to have it documented cleaned. In short we were leaving a house much much better condition than I moved in to. When I received my deposit back they took the majority of it around 2500 if Im not mistaken . They charged us for cleaning the house. Carpet condition needed replacing, they replaced all the locks and charged me for it when I turned in all my keys, I got charged for a new security camera set and DVR, and monitor because there was cameras when we moved in and they were still there when we moved out. Doesnt make sense to me. As a tenant everytime I dealt with management they were rude and demanding, they made minimal efforts to help me with concerns I had. They are crooks . I wouldnt recommend renting from these guys. There are plenty of property managements who will be a helpful and wont be out to get every dollar you can out of people. Horrible property management experience with them. Beware anywhere else is better.

Yvette was the name of the lady who showed the property to us. First of all, it was difficult scheduling the appointment, because she wanted us to come in at times when we were working. We finally agreed on a time, 8:30 am so we could make it to work by 9:30. She complained it was too early but agreed. We are rushing to get there and at exactly 8:31 she calls me and starts saying how I wasnt there yet and made her go early. Super disrespectful and unprofessional. We were about 3 mins away. We were literally 4 mins late! Wth? We still went in and she told us there were no applications on the house and that as soon as they received an application they dont take anymore. So we went ahead and applied & paid application fee for both the hubby and I. Never heard back from them. Went online a week later and the property was off market. Kind of upset because she said there were no applications. But that wasnt all, about 1 month later I start looking for properties again and guess what? The property is magically back on the market! So I think they were just collecting app fees and we got scammed. TAKE A LOOK AT REVIEWS ON YELP! This is very inaccurate as most reviews are from property owners.

I arrived around 10:40 parked across the street and walked to the house. She saw me and my husband cross the street to the house but drove off. We spoke to the owners who pointed out her car as she was driving off. I called her and she said she had another appt at 11am in Canyon Lake. Sometimes this meant spending entire day. She was very patient with us since we had to carry our little 7 months old son with us during every visit. However Christine handled this very patiently and professionally without offending either party.One thing I really like to mention is that Paul (her husband) underwent a major surgery for his leg during the time we were still looking for houses with her. Christine adhered to her schedule/appointments despite her personal commitments at family. This level of commitment and customer service, really makes her stand apart from the rest of the agents you may ever work with.She was also very punctual about showing up for her appointments, finishing her paperwork, following up with lender, listing agent etc. She normally responds to texts within one hour if she is busy otherwise her responses are immediate. She also gives a lot of heads up if she is going to be away for any reason. She took care of lot of work for us in the background (dealing with escrow, lender etc), to save us troubles. I am happy to have worked with her and would recommend her to anyone trying to buy a home in San Diego or Temecula county.We closed escrow on our home today and I am really thankful to Christine for her hard work and perseverance. Comment: If I could give them no stars, I would. Just to start off, my husband and I took them to court and won! They are not fair arbitrators of tenant/landlord issues, as Z Man previously stated. He was the other named party, in our lawsuit, WHICH WE WON. We were pressed for time to find a place, as my husband had a report date, just 25 days after his promotion. And true, while it was a blessing to find this rental, in such a short time; we quickly had issues. Our first night in we discovered a severe rodent infestation, in the house, which kept us up many nights. There was also a horrible spider infestation of Black and Brown widows. ALL due to the overgrown, unkept a trees and bushes. Which we were told would be cut back, but they werent. The lawn men only came once every 2 months, although part of the rent we paid was for lawn care. There were issues with the floor, the garage doors were broken and did not work, there were electrical issues; it was just horrible. And nothing was ever really resolved, just patched or ignored. And finally a major leak occurred during the last fall, which revealed many holes in the roof and a massive mold problem. The mold was in the ceiling, walls, AND floor. And the holes were caused by the rats. They chewed several holes through the water rotted, 25+ year old roof. Which we emailed and called several times telling them we could hear the rats chewing through the roof and walls, only to be told that rats dont chew through things. Shortly after, our dog died, due to mold exposure, and me and my children became very ill. Because it took them 1 month to get someone out to tend to the mold and water intrusion. All the while, we were being told that we didnt know what we were talking about, that we were liars, or we were extortionist. Yet, they wouldnt put us in a hotel or let us break the lease to leave. We paid full rent, until out final month; so we could afford to move during the holidays. Then our security deposit was kept and we were told it was because we caused the damages to the roof and killed the grass, which was a lie; substantiated by the insurance company that came out to review the damages and claim. They also denied the claim, due to non-maintenance of the home! Hence, we won! Instead, we were sent a bill for the repairs!!! And all the while Benefit National made nasty remarks about me and my family, and snarky jokes about the situation. Dont rent from them, for your own safety. Run, run in the other direction. I am still being seen by doctors!

Their management fees are fair yet their service is well and above what we expected. They are quick to assess what needs to be done for the property and they have quick access to any number of maintenance persons whether the issue is landscaping or electrical. I have felt that all of their maintenance persons are top notch and reasonable. Christine and Paul are extremely professional and knowledgeable regarding how to handle rental units and tenants. They understand that my rentals properties are a business and manage them as such. They also are very good with tenants, treat them with respect but still are able to enforce all rules and regulations and collect the rent without delay. Comment: There are so many companies to choose from in the Murrieta/Temecula area and I interviewed 3 of the well known ones. As a whole everyone seems to offer the same basic services. Here is what stood out about Jack & Benefit National:1- They charge a flat rate of $99 per month but provide all of the same services that other companies charging a percentage of my rent charge.2- They by far had the most aggressive marketing plan for my home. Our house rented in 4 days and for more than I anticipated. I also received a notice whenever my home was shown to a potential tenant which wasnt even an option with the other companies.3- THEY ALWAYS ANSWER THEIR PHONES. I was shocked as a business owner myself how long it took to get an appointment with some of these other companies. The phone just rings off the hook. Crazy to me.4- They have a really cool automated system that notifies me of basically everything that is going on with my home. When it came time to renew a lease I was really impressed with how quickly and efficiently they were able to turn it over because of their technology.5- For me, this is by far my biggest asset. I just wasnt comfortable handing it over to a mom & pop shop that doesnt have the resources to be held accountable. Benefit National just seems to know what they are doing and have a well run business. That helps me sleep at night.Overall I couldnt be happier with them. I would do your due diligence and interview a couple different companies, but dont make a move until you meet with them. Id be shocked if you didnt notice the difference right away. Good luck!

Comment: We tried for several weeks to schedule a viewing of a property in Menifee and received zero communication. It was only after Zillow requested to know if we received any contact, we said no, and suddenly -- as if by magic! -- we were scheduled a viewing for June 18th, 2024.On the DAY OF the viewing, we received a personal phone call from Tina literally confirming the appointment time. We took time to discuss, plan, and then wasted gas, money, & more time to come down and make the appointment. Instead of calling us in the car (as she had just done earlier in the day to reiterate our appointment time), she/they instead elected to simply text a cancellation notice while we were unable to read any texts. We were using navigation to guide us so we walked to the correct house, and then we saw it had already been rented out. A fact they were apparently unable to call about despite having called us just a few hours prior.Taking all of that into account, I would guess they were either 90-100% certain they had already finished a rental agreement, but the lack of communication per Zillow would look bad, so they knowingly wasted our time so they could say no, look we DID communicate with them!
