I felt like we had mutual respect and did not feel they were trying to take advantage of us in any way. Comment: I do not recommend that the public go to Ford dealerships to service cars because the mechanics and technicians do not have experience in cars and the tutors scam people by making unnecessary repairs and very high charges. I had one Very bad experience, I do not recommend going to Ford.

Comment: I just bought my 24. Mustang. Have to say these guys have been great. My Salesman Oscar really went out of his way with emails to phone calls and working with my schedule. Because I was coming in from out of town. Hes a super funny guy, and and she is very polite and goes out of his way to help you. Shane who is the sales manager? I believe was an amazing guy period he was friendly and he really went out of his way to try to give me the best financing and a market that he really doesnt have to. The steeler doesnt do markups or dealer adam ons unless you want something Added, and when all other dealers are marking up and trying to make more money comma these guys treat you like family and actually help you with the price. Shane even worked with me after the sales To get me a lower Payment and that was after the sales was done and it was the day after. No dealer cares enough after the sale is done. Gotta say, this has been the best experience ive had, and ive worked with a lot of dealers.

Comment: A real disappointment, because I trusted Ford Putnam, I left my car here, I had to wait for 32 days in total and paid too much money for the car I rented, Sergey working in the service department was nice to me, the day they said I would pick up my car changed many times and I could not receive it on the day I was told, because I had planned for the day I was told, I left the car I had rented and then I had to rent a car again,ı picked up my car, theres not any issue about my car now, but 32 days is a really long time..

Sales person (Shane Amikiai) was very personable, answered all my questions, and physically hustled.Only negative was financing department made bringing in an outside loan more difficult than it needed to be.

Comment: Had an overall very positive experience at Putnam service for my Mach E. I knocked a star off just because they only have one tech that is trained to work on the electric cars, so schedules can get a bit delayed. This is the case at all Ford dealerships though, and Putnam managed this better than others I have gone to.My service advisor Darryl did a great job keeping me up to date of the status of my vehicle, which I really appreciated.I cant speak to the dealers further down to peninsula, but if you live in SF or closer to Putnam, I would go straight to them if you have an Ford EV to service.

Comment: Promised times for service are ignored. Need to call multiple times to receive status of car. When calling into dealership service department the service advisors do not answer, rather an operator or cashier. Need the actual status of car from service advisor. Biggest factor is communicating with the customer on the status of the parts availability and how far along the mechanic is with the job. Please do have the customer call for vehicle status, that is the service advisors job.

Comment: Made an appt for a recall (directly with Putnam Ford, not through a call center) and was told it would take one day. Upon arrival for my appt I was told it would take 1-2 weeks. The front desk was going to leave me without a car for that time until a manager(?) overheard and told the front desk that they needed to get me a rental. Front desk seemed surprised that I wasnt content with just being dropped back off at home. They called the rental agency to come get me, and when I arrived at the rental agency, they informed me that Putnam Ford didnt confirm whether any cars were available before sending me. I was stuck for over 2 hours waiting for a car. When all was said and done, I didnt have a rental car until more than 3 hours past my scheduled appointment. The rental agency informed me this was common practice for Putnam Ford. I was happy with the work they did on my car, but I will never be going back due to the horrible customer service.

Comment: I Initially brought the truck in after an extensive talk with the phone contact Diana. We confirmed that this would be an extended warranty repair. After I brought the truck in Diana Called me back with an Estimate of $2400+ for the vehicle repair, I told her we had already confirmed this repair would be Covered by my extended warranty.. After about 10 minutes on the phone this was cleared up and she said in fact the Ford warranty coverd this. The following week, I came out and picked up the truck when they has said it was ready. I PAid my $100.00 Deductible for the vehicle as requested. In the time it took to drive the vehicle home. It was Steaming and when I stopped the truck It dropped Antifreeze on my driveway. I had to call Ford back and inform them that the vehicle needed to be picked up and repaired correctly, as it had over heated in the 20 minute drive home. The ford shop had a tow truck out with in about 90 minutes. SO Not only did I not have a working vehicle. I paid a $100 deductible on a repair that was a failure. Putnam ford did not contact me with the necessary information. I had to call them later in the day and they informed me that The thermostat and/or Gaskets failed. I requested that they do the work and test it extensively so that this would not happen again. This was an utter failure, aside from the fact that the warranty covered the repairs. The service technician Obviously missed and or Failed to test adequately the systems they were as to repair. Then sent the vehicle was returned to me. I received it in good faith that the repair was done correctly. It was not. This is not the Service I expect from my Local Ford Dealership. I do Expect better. I do Expect that a vehicle is repaired correctly the 1st time. I may not have paid for the repair, But my lost time was at least in the $1000-$1200 range for having to deal with this issue.Jay Beard

Comment: Had a dead battery and wanted to have the battery replaced and basic diagnostics run to ensure there was not a more extensive electrical problem. Set up an appointment online for 10 a.m. Dropped off the truck at 9:50 and was told there was a minimum service fee of $220 - seemed excessive for a battery replacement but since I wanted the diagnostics, I was ok with it. (But still dont understand why they dont disclose this fee on their website.) I was told it would be ready by 3.Called at 3:10 to confirm the truck was ready, but after several attempts still didnt get anyone from service on the line. I was told they would leave a message and someone from the service department would call me back.Having heard nothing by 4:15, I went to the shop to pick up the truck. Not ready would have been a sufficiently bad outcome on its own, but it took them half an hour to locate the work order, paperwork, and determine how many times they dropped the ball while my truck sat unattended for six hours.No explanation, no apologies, no effort.I jumped my truck, drove to Costco, bought a replacement battery, and installed it myself. The whole process took less than an hour and half, and save me the $220 minimum fee for what apparently passes for service at Putnam.Save your time. Save your money. Go someplace else.

Comment: I brought my Ford in for a problem with my thermostat. My car was still under warranty. It should have beea a quick and easy fix. Putnam Ford ended up keeping my Ford for 10 days, blaming the delay because, they said, the part had been ordered, and it took a very long time to be delivered (via FedEx). Little to no communication from Putnam during these 10 days, and seemingly no urgency on their part to find out if the part had been sent, when it was sent, and why it was taking so long in transit. This very lengthy delay in getting the new thermostat for my car, and the eventual repair, was simply unacceptable!

Comment: Called about getting my cars 5000 miles oil change and having a check engine light checked on. Scheduled the appointment just fine. Got it up there the following week, and was told it needed a software update and may need parts. I leave it there overnight and the next day they tell me the parts will be in on Wednesday of next week, and that they reset the engine light. They werent sure if it would come on, but told me they would call me Wednesday and for me to tell them how long it takes to come back on. I ask for a service receipt and they tell me they cant close it out until the new parts get put on. Check engine light comes on, on the drive home. Next Wednesday they dont call me, I try calling them and they dont answer. The next day I call again and leave a message. Still no word back. If they try to get you to leave without a service receipt, dont. I will change this review if the issue becomes resolved, but as it stands I can not recommend this service center.
