QDOBA Mexican Eats in other cities:
They don’t know how to fold burritos and they move too fast, my “burrito” was mostly bean juice because they didn’t let the juices drain. They then don’t train anybody to fold a burrito the right way so that after it’s folded it’s missing half of the inners. Not happy. No hair nets on anyone and one person even had their hair down. Gross. Not coming back.
Made a computer order to be picked up at 5:05 and was waiting for 25 minutes after pick up time. People in line were waited on before my order and another customer that did the same thing were also served. One employee taking care of every one. Unless you are starving to death or enjoy hanging out for 30 minutes, stay away. By the time I got home my food was cold.
Ordered online and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I walked in to pick up my order and there were 2 lines - one for pick up and one for walk ins. They ended up serving all the walk ins first before they started fulfilling online orders. I didn’t get my food for 45 minutes! Don’t order online as they don’t care because they already have your money. Walk in is faster. Won’t be coming back to this location.
Store rotates between closed, cash only (for 2-3weeks now?), online orders only (depends on the day.) Dont forget that their ice machine has been broken for weeks.I understand staffing issues sure (maybe bump employee pay and it wouldnt be so bad), but being cash only for this long is ridiculous.Used to be one of the best qdobas in the area, but honestly pretty much the worst of the big 3 burrito chains within a mile of here now.
I Come here quite often and it’s a great place. But today the service was very disappointing. There was one guy who took our order in stores (seems to be a new guy, in yellow tshirt) - extremely slow in all aspects, did not clearly understand what we ordered, took infinite time to prepare our food. The veg quesadilla that he prepared was so pathetic, with very small amounts of sauces and veggies…we were so hungry and this food was extremely disappointing. We couldn’t eat the food that we have ordered due to lack of taste. Sucked big time. Waste of 30 bucks. This guy was clearly an exception. Other staff members were really fast and usually make good food. Please take necessary action.
Order placed on mobile app to be picked up by 5:47. I arrive right on time and wait as the 2 employees were helping in store customers. 2 more customers come by and are being helped. I see a bag with my name on the receipt behind the counter and politely asked isn’t that ready? They tell me it needs to be packed(?). Another 5 minutes goes by and all in store customers are treated. The same employee who answered me looks at the same bag I referred to and just hands it down to counter calling my name once and walks away (I’m the only one waiting for any service by the way). At the very least a sorry would’ve been nice. Long story short, I was there about 15min past my due time per app when my order was ready from when I had arrived. Plus, employees didn’t even apologized if having me to wait when clearly I asked if that order behind the counter wasn’t mine that is ready.
Normally this place is good. My husband and I grabbed lunch here today and it was horrible. The chicken was from a bad dream, slimey and just huge chunks of fat. Completely inedible. There wasnt one piece that didnt make my stomach toss. We ended up throwing it all out. So disappointing.
I absolutely love Qdoba and Ive been to this location many times without fail but my most recent order was definitely a miss. The bowls I ordered were half empty and there were many ingredients such as guac, peppers, and onions that were missing. Even the brisket was subpar this time, since half of it was inedible fat, which bewildered me. Im not one to usually complain, but my pregnant wife and I were starving last night and the food was unsatisfying. We werent even full from the food because it was half the portion size we normally get and had to spend money on another meal. Its ironic because sheUsually she cannot even finish one bowl. Needless to say, I was disappointed and wanted to let you all know. Maybe this location should go from online orders only so we know exactly what were getting in person.
Even though site said open till 10 we got there at 8 and they were cleaning up and told us online only. Im sorry but thats not how it works. Or just change your hours then so people dont waste their time driving up there just to order. Becuase also ordering online wont get it right. Of site said online only I wouldve changed where I was going.
This store is very hit or miss. I order online since I have little ones and want to minimize wait time, but this location does not prioritize online orders and sometimes there is an extremely long wait for online orders. They serve walk ins right away while those that ordered ahead continue to wait. Extremely disappointing.
I’m a door dasher and I am getting tired of the very bad customer service that I experience here in Michigan. So now while I wait I am going to be describing what is happening at these facilities. Like how I walked into this one, was not spoken to, but I said hello and they just looked at me while one girl sat there chewing on some of the chicken she clearly just got from the grill.
The staff is very friendly, patient, and funny. The food is fresh. While this should be a given, many restaurants dont seem to care how old or nasty their food is. However, Ive been here several times, and its always perfectly fresh! You can customize however you want, and its not hot/spicy unless you want it to be. They even have kids meals.
Only ever go here as a DoorDash driver, the wait time for an order is either a hit or miss but most of the time it’s ready when you get there depending on the size of the order. Also the employees are always nice. There’s been a few times I’ve had to wait way longer than expected, but other than that it’s good. 3/5.
UPDATE: March 18, 2021 I waited a month since the awful experience and my son wanted a burrito, so we tried again. Ordered through the app, everything said the order progressed so I arrived 5 mins late on purpose to give them more time AND I am told I will have a long wait. There are people here who arrived when I did....who didnt order 16 mins before I arrived getting there food. How does this make any sense? Please trust me and go to Chipotle.Dont go during COVID-19, super long wait. 35 plus minutes in the store and didnt receive two items...dont bother.Updated a week later after the Response from the Owner. Sorry, but you continue to let me down. I wrote and mentioned my case as recommended, nothing was taken care of and I couldnt be assisted. This turned out worse that I thought it would, never did get my $4.95 chips and queso.
I place all my orders on the Qdoba app. We used to eat here at least once a week. I dont know what changed but for the last 2 months they screw up Every. Single. Order. Were currently on the phone trying to resolve missing items and weve been on the phone for 30 minutes. They try to argue with us when its clearly printed on the receipt.
This is the closet Qdoba to my house and I love Qdoba but some of employees here have attitude problem and that has been my constant experience. They need to hire people who are welcoming and those who not throw food in a bowl because something in their personal life is bothering them.
Always enjoy some Qdoba. Today I had a kids nacho made by a new employee. She did a good job and my food was great as expected. My favorite thing about Qdoba is that they care. If you do the survey on the receipt they review them with the employees. Ive personally had an issue corrected via this feedback.
Understaffed - As the unfriendly, multitasking guy was preparing my food order at dinner time hours 6pm, he was interrupted by a customer needing napkins, so he stopped preparing my order to fill the napkin dispenser. There was a long wait line with only 2 people preparing orders. I have eaten there a few times and never had a pleasant eating experience. The floors were trashed as well. The food is tasteless! Its GROSS!!!I have always been a fan of Chipotle. They arent understaffed, they are clean, friendly and the food is exquisite. Qdoba is by far a FAIL!!!!!!!!!
Ive only been here two times. Once, i arrived 10 minutes late for a online pick up order. Food wasnt ready and had to wait a further 20 minutes while various customers came and went. This past week i had a large order for work. They put all the wrong names on the wrong orders and certain people had the wrong food. Retrain staff to be a bit more attentive...
Will not be back to this location after giving it many tries. The line is always so long and the staff being rude doesn’t make up for it! This location used to be good but now it’s went downhill and they don’t seem to know what they’re doing and mess up people’s orders. Save your time and money and go to the one down the road on Walton Blvd. much better service and a lot friendlier staff!
Great place. Fresh food. Decent service. However they were sold out of protein. And had to wait a very long time for it to be ready. Which was really annoying. In the future they should offer any customers who opt to wait for something to be cooked free chips and dip or a cookie ..something to show hey we appreciate you as a customer.
Used to love this location. But something is always wrong with soda machine and they wont give you fountain prices on bottled pops and charge for the water. Pretty dumbWish I could leave a one star review twice.Went in today after sitting in line for 10 minutes just to be told they were out of chicken for another 10 minutes. Nice job team....
Waited 20 minutes in line just to place my order, then another 10 minutes for them to make it! The food prep station was a mess with scraps of food all over the place. They are very understaffed or under trained, the food was cold and my burrito was wrapped like a mess. It was seriously like a pile of food in tin foil; I had a blast tying to eat this by hand! Drive passed this location and go to the next one, its worth it!
The girl who took are order wasnt listening to good. I asked for water and she gave me a big cup for x-ray drink. Then she was giving my husband the wrong drink. He gave her are card and she didnt swipe it. The restaurant was very dirty. None if the tables were clean and the trash can was over flowing.
Everyone ordering Uber eats! Beware!!!! Lamar the manager at this store says the quesadilla doesn’t come with pico paired with guacamole and sour cream on the side as stated on Uber eats menu! He didn’t even care when I called in!Update! Jenna the Dm helped me out and took care of the problem! I’m switching my review from a one star to a five star thanks Jenna!
Did you know Qdoba traces its origins to the Zuma Fresh Mexican Grill in Denver, CO? Once the word got out to locals about the balance of taste, quality, and meat sweats produced, this place straight took off!People quickly started to pay attention and Zuma was attacked with slanderous and nonsensical accusations regarding their touted meat sweat to meat consumed ratio which was double their nearest competitor. Rather than have to dump a bunch of duckets into legal fees to protect themselves, Zuma ended up having to change their name to Z-Teca. That didnt stop the riff raff from coming out of the woodworks as Z-Teca quickly found themselves being sued by 2 companies called Z Tejas and Azteca. Even though they were baseless lawsuits Z-Teca decided to change their name again.Everybody knows people always be trying to cash on people with success, especially when they produce meats that make you sweat like youre in a Turkish bath houseZ-Teca launched a thorough investigation and confirmed what we all take for granted today. The suits and bolo ties at Z-Teca realized people loved their food based on how fast and violent they broke out into meat sweats especially when it came with a hint of diarrhea on the side. Everyone knows the best meat sweats comes prepackaged with a side of hershey squirts. Its weird to think about that now, but they didnt back then. Once the scientists at the company made it well known, everything changed. Suddenly the suits realized every Sally, Dick, and Joe would be coming at them trying to learn or steal their trade secrets. The only solution would end up being another name change. After conducting extensive research, a scientist in their corporate laboratory discovered an ancient hieroglyph inscribed on the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza which detailed a formerly unknown diety named Qdobacoba. After interpreting the writing, it was made known that Qdobacoba was the Mayan God of a food dish consisting on corn and meats that made the consumer sweat profusely for a fortnight at the minimum. Finally everything was in place and is what forms the basis of what is now the finest food on earth in terms of making you diarrhea and meat sweat simultaneously. Now that you know the history, it makes sense what happened to my wife when we dined at their Rochester Hills, MI location. After 5 tacos and 2 burrito bowls she started to speak in a dialect Ive never heard before while sweating like Patrick Ewing. All of a sudden the workers in the back came out and dropped to their knees chanting in the same language. It was EPIC!5/5. Going back tomorrow!
Went here tonight for dinner and was told they were out of queso. It was only 7:30 at night and there was no queso at qdoba. Dont go here unless you dont want queso, which is the only reason anyone ever would go to qdoba in the first place. Im assuming the staff was just too lazy to make more since they were trying to clean up at 7:30 so they could go home even though they dont actually close until 10.
Got take out ... chips were stale ..chicken in my burrito was over cooked the queso cheese was thick and overcooked.... and talk about slow service OMG I was ready to just ask for my money back and go hit a drive-thru on the way home certainly was disappointing for sure

2022-05-06Tried their Family menu! Food was filling. Chicken was crunchy! Queso with chips was mouthwatering! 5 star for food but front desk denied the free chips under my rewards account. Regular customer take a note not all of things in rewards can’t be redeemed at store.

2022-06-15Bought a drink because of the heat and it was one of the most easiest purchases I’ve ever made. Employee was able to get me in and out within seconds. I have had their bowls too and everything always tastes so good when I go. Also, so clean and organized! These employees work so hard especially with it being so hot out, kudos to them. Definitely will be back to this location.

2022-04-25Ordered a chicken quesadilla and they were out of chicken so I was forced to pay more for steak. The girl forgot to put the paper on the grille when grilling the quesadilla so it all stuck and fell apart and had to be remade not a big deal everyone makes mistakes but No one told me it had to be remade I just watched them do it and when remaking it they did not check with me what was in it and they forgot some of the things I had originally ordered. After standing and waiting for my food it was not grilled enough and just fell apart immediately and I couldn’t even hold it ☹️

2022-05-07Let me start this off by saying one thing to other customers, if you’re going to go out of your house to order food somewhere, you better not sit there and harass the understaffed employees behind the counter about how they should prioritize orders. A gentleman beside me tonight became very angry with the guys preparing food due to a lengthy wait in line (because they are understaffed) and took it upon himself to talk loud enough to create a scene, and ask why his burrito isn’t being made over the online orders placed half an hour before him, with the people waiting in store to grab them. He eventually stormed out while his half made burrito sat there in front of them and cussed at the employees during his exit. I truly cannot believe the entitlement that exists in some folks, and I’m writing this as a customer, who waited in the same line, behind 7-8 people for 35 minutes at 9pm. If you feel the need to sit there and disrespect people trying to do their job, how about you grab an apron and go join them. Employees handled this guy properly, essentially just ignored him, which was the smart move as this man seemed like a loose cannon. Now that that’s out of the way, the food is good as always. I feel very sorry for the 4 gentleman who were working today and busting their a*ses, yet still maintaining a positive attitude. One of the guys has an injury right now that limits his mobility with one arm he was saying, that didn’t help their wait and I feel real sorry for him because that’s who the guy was disrespectful to. It is evident that this place needs both better management, and more employees. The manager did shake the order up at the end in an effort to fix things but it came a little late. I’ll continue coming back, and I hope this review finds the right people, and maybe even one of the employees from tonight, so you know some people still have lots of respect for you all working your tails off for probably 15 an hour. The money is not worth some of those customers, glad you guys didn’t seem phased. 3 stars for the management, 5 for the food.

2022-05-30Absolutely terrible. All tables were filthy and we went in at 3pm. Bathroom sink was clogged and half full. My chicken bowl was all dark meat, didnt even look like chicken never experienced that before. For $32 I can get much better food elsewhere.

2022-04-08Today, I ordered a steak burrito because other protein options looked dangerously low. The lady literally put 6 small cubes of steak that looked more like a one-third portion. I asked her if that was normal hoping she would make an attempt to rectify things. Instead she rudely suggested I pay extra if I wanted more. I politely declined but pretty much lost interest in my burrito after that. When I went to pay, I noticed I was being charged more than the displayed cost. Once again, I asked politely if there was an error and was rudely told this was the cost. So they dont update their display prices and if we point out the discrepancy, we are spoken badly too! I wish you well, but I am not coming back!

2022-08-05These guys are very sloppy and unorganized. I placed a mobile order, it gives me a 10 minute time frame to pick up. I come at the latter end, and its not ready. I have to stand in line and wait for them to make my order. Whats the point of ordering ahead? You guys need to get your act together, this has happened two times. And if it happens again, I will just take my business to Chipotle instead who have a great system of leaving the food somewhere for you to pick up. No excuse from this lazy staff!

2022-04-22I will never go back to this location. The person preparing my food kept running her hands through her ponytail which was long & over her shoulder. She had gloves on & never changed her gloves. She continued doing this one person after another & continued with the same gloves on. Also the food was not fresh, lettuce was brown & queso was clumpy & darker in color. The floors were filthy through the eating area.

2022-08-06Worst place to buy Qudoba. Manager is extremely rude and unfriendly. Staff is completely clueless.Do not buy from this location.Update: Sent email to below address. They replied saying will get back to me. Never got back. I sent couple of follow up emails asking what happened to my email/concerns and still no response. I guess this flows from top

2022-02-16I ordered tortilla soup and the menu clearly says topped with tortillas and sour cream there was a new guy who asked me what does that come on? I said a bowl of soup? The guy appoligized and said it was his first day. No wonder he asked me, his crew was not helpful and they were just as oblivious.he filled the bowl, it went down the line and they packed it up without adding the topping. A friend I was with ordered chips and salsa. The oblivious woman gave her the salsa with corn in it but literally only scooped the corn kernels out .. now tell me how she is supposed to dip chips in corn?the menu states chips and dip! The manager should have been on the floor teaching these people. Ill never go there again
