Comment: Mediocre hotel with very bad customer service. Keep in mind, this is not a busy hotel in a bustling neighborhood, its a cheap hotel thats close to nothing and not far from a few things. I made a reservation at this hotel, and (silly me), picked the wrong dates. When I showed up to check in the next day, I realized my mistake, agreed to pay the higher rate for that night, and asked if they wouldnt mind refunding the original charge.Heres where things got a little weird. The front-desk manager categorically (and I think a little rudely), refused to refund the charge, stating that it was against company policy, and because it was an online reservation, my only recourse would be to call Quality Inn directly.So I checked in, and gave HQ a call, where they informed me that refunds COULD ONLY BE GIVEN AT THE DISCRETION OF THE ONSITE MANAGER. Having a bit of extra time, I thought it would useful to inform the manager that it wasnt against company policy to issue a refund in this case, and that he could do so at his discretion. I dont think he liked that at all, because this time he refused far more aggressively, and between the lying, inflexibility, and poor customer service, Ive decided to cancel my Choice Privileges account and avoid this hotel in the future. Oh, and the TV didnt work.

Comment: About 30 minutes walk from Santa Clara convention centre, the staff were nice and courteous. However, there was a major issue with their WiFi and AC. I could not have a successful zoom call because the WiFi fluctuates so frequently.

Comment: It is a clean hotel with very spacious rooms, plenty of parking and surrounding area felt safe during the night. Walkable to Indian food trucks. Front desk staff and the owner were really friendly.One feedback for the staff at the breakfast area is they should show courtesy to ask the guests at the table if they want anything before removing the stuffs. The lady just came and removed the stuffs while few of the guests were still having breakfast.

Comment: Stayed with my wife for the NFL NFC Championship game. Great value and convenient to LEVIS stadium. We walked there no problem. 1.5 miles. Decent continental breakfast but no eggs or sausage, etc. Just waffles, bagels, etc. Lots of stuff a short walk away. Wood stay again.

Then why this hotel FALSELY ADVERTISE, they provide all travel kit, its posted on their hotel lobby, every room?? These people are liars, stingy, this lady Krishna is so strange and unprofessional, she overcharged my credit card 2 times, when I asked her, she just laughed and couldnt explain, she said Im from India. Boss will talk to you!!!This is a nightmare hotel! Pathetic cheap breakfast, they advertise they give hot breakfast, NO ITS LITERALLY JUST BREAD AND COFFEE, WAFFLES, PLS DO NOT STAY HERE.

Comment: 08/17/23THERE IS NOT HOT BREAKFAST HERE! I REPEAT, THERE IS NO HOT BREAKFAST HERE. I booked this particular hotel BECAUSE of the advertisement of free HOT breakfast. It is merely coffee and dry foods including granola bars. The hot breakfast is posted in MULTIPUL places on the Choice Hotel Quality Inn *THIS LOCATION* internet pageThere is also a promise of a *complimentary snack pack* which includes water and snacks that is also not provided. Even though there are signs in the rooms expressing such gesture.The front desk manager has a kind voice and sounds helpful.An hour early check in results in a $50 charge and the room we booked was *not ready yet and were placed bottom floor instead of top w/balcony. Minor inconvenience, but when we asked about the balcony room we were told if we came back at 3 (it is around 2 still) and waited for the balcony room we would be refunded the $50 early check in fee. Great, we grabbed our things and the front desk then informed us that the 2nd floor w/balcony room WAS ready and we could go up and would not be given the $50 back. Again, minor. The room is standard but there is hair in and around the sink and faucet, kind of musty smell (turned on the air and opened that glorious balcony door) and aired it out. The bed lamp is broken. The biggest problem we have is the promise if a hot breakfast, which will not be provided. And also the incidental fee is $200 and not the $100 as 100% of all other hotels weve stayed. And that hold charge is returned to your card UP TO 14 (FOURTEEN) days after check out. So be aware of this before checking in

Comment: Had an amazing stay at Quality Inn! The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Location to Levi Stadium is fantastic. The beds are comfortable and are on par with some high end hotels that Ive stayed at. Would recommend to anyone who needs a stay in the area.

Comment: I booked a stay while on vacation camping with limited internet service for our return trip home. I quickly searched Choices app for pet friendly hotels and saw that this one was pet friendly, so I booked it. Upon arrival I was given their pet policy which states that your pet must be under 25 pounds and crated. I explained my situation and although the manager was nice, he made no exceptions to accommodate and refused to make an exception. Too me, with my experience traveling is not only poor customer service but also false advertising. This hotel is not pet friendly at all with their restrictions. Thank God for Motel 6 in a pinch. Never a hassle.

Comment: Room (233) is huge, with king size bed, freeze, microwave oven, kettle, iron, hair dryer. Less amenities. Only shampoo, body soap, conditioner, body lotion is there. No toothbrush. They should add a little more.Room is well organized and clean.They only clean on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. Sometimes they dont(happened with me). Pool is not available now(2022/10/21).Very few options for breakfast. They must add some more items on breakfast menu. There is a liquor shop just beside it, which is very convenient. Really sorry to say that, some of the staffs are very nonprofessional. But some of them are really helpful. No lift, only stairs. Parking facilities available.Maybe good for business trip. Apparently, cheap from other hotels nearby.

I’ve never stayed in a Quality Inn before so can’t compare to others, but I have stayed in comfort inns from the parent group Choice Hotels. I hope this is not the standard for most or all Quality Inns. Just Nasty! Smelly Carpet, smelly room, muggy air. 🤢

Comment: Great experience. Excellent value. Stopped in for an overnight stay. Outside of building is clean and flowers are planted....always a great sign the owner takes pride in their business. Lobby and hallway were clean, staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel was quiet and has plenty of parking for my van and trailer. Got a great night sleep and will be back the next time I am in the south bay.

Comment: The room did not sparkle. Room smelled musty when I opened the door. Carpet was very dirty. Kids feet were black from running around on it. Bathroom wallpaper was peeling in spots. Black mold on wall near shower. Breakfast nook not like the photos on their website no sausage, eggs, & tator tots. No pastries & the white bread was dry. No cream for the coffee, just whole milk. TV didnt work & the staff couldnt get it to work.Pool not open, but website says it was. Picked this hotel for their website photos & amenities. The beds were not a full queen size. I measured it and was 75x54. The patio the website described sounded nice online but the view was the backside of a strange shed. The staff/maids could speak or understand English. I asked where the breakfast room was but they didnt understand me. I was very disappointed in this hotel and will not return.

Comment: Arrived at the mid-night after driving 7+ hours to this “pet friendly” hotel booked from Booking.com and was refused to be admitted because my pet weight is over their limit which didn’t show when booked. Called booking.com and was ended up by hanging our phone. Went back to the front desk and asked how about keep my pet out of the hotel. Still got refused! My kids were chilling outside and the Manager told us he has no time to talk to us in the mid-night!?

Comment: I stayed there last week. I called it the Low Quality Inn, justifiably so. When I booked, there were pictures of the pool and fitness center. I expected to get in some exercise after work as Im rehabbing an injured hip. When I arrived, the front desk person told me neither the pool or exercise room were available. I went to my room and the inside of the door was horribly scratched as though either an animal or prisoner were kept in the room. I sent my wife a picture and she said I should leave immediately as it didnt look safe. In my room there was a table display stating that I would receive complimentary bottled water and a welcome gift. I was parched after my flight so called the front desk for some water. The person said We dont do that anymore. They didnt do anything anymore apparently. The sheets were scratchy and the towels were paper thin. I checked in on Sunday and no maid on Monday. Front desk said the maid would come on Wednesday. Really? Wheres the quality here? The wall and ceiling were so thin I could hear the person above me pacing back and forth. Worst stay ever. Not appropriate for a business hotel. Rather like a refugee camp.

The staff was.. polite, but being a bit more warm and welcoming would be appreciated.However, I am annoyed that the pool (thats outside) and the breakfast were not available and nothing said it anywhere. You learn it when you arrive. I am aware of the pandemic thats still hitting, but... a outdoor pool! And putting a little breakfast for people to pick up to eat in their room or anywhere else is doable imo. They may be short in staff too I guess, the maids werent even there on Saturday.It wasnt the worst stay ever, but far from being the best either.

Comment: Let me start by saying, I came all the out here for a travel assignment for work, and I came across this gem. The owners Jai and Krishna went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful stay. From the morning/evening greetings, to the free breakfast provided and accommodating my needs, they did outstanding! The staff at the front desk were great too! Now, I’m heading back home, but the next travel assignment I take towards this way, I’m definitely booking for sure! Great place and great people.

Comment: Raises doubts about the decency of the hotel administration. my husband and I reserved one room for one night. They took a $ 50 deposit from us, and for some unknown reason another $ 135. Moreover, one night costs $ 83. The manager did not give a clear answer to the question why he had removed $ 50 from the card. Motivating that this is also a deposit. You are kindly requested to check your payment at this hotel. My husband and I stay in the same hotels, but there is no such attitude in other hotels.

Comment: No elevator so getting a room on the second floor sucks if you have heavy luggage. Showers dont have a long hose for the shower head so it is not easy getting water in all the right places. Breakfast is typical and good. Rooms are clean and spacious. Price is very reasonable. Wifi is good. They provide water and snack for free the first night, not sure of subsequent nights so far.

Comment: Great location. Close to Levi Stadium, off Lawrence Expwy, near 237 and Hwy 101. King bed was very comfortable with two different firmness of pillows to aide in a great nights sleep. Property is older but mostly updated with wallpaper and clean throughout. The a/c unit is controlled by a central wall thermostat which makes for more consistent climate regulation for sleeping. Nice table and chairs for playing cards or having a quick meal and a small but comfortable recliner. We look forward to returning to this property when visiting family in the area.

Comment: If I could give this place a zero stars I would. Stay away if you can. Talking to the front desk was a nightmare. We booked for five nights at this hotel and needed to leave early for personal reasons. I had spoken to the manager the day prior to check out and she agreed to only charge me four nights. I asked her if there would be anyone present if I needed to check out very early in the morning and she said there’s always someone at the desk 24/7 to assist me with the check out. I went to check out around 5am this morning and the person at the front named “Paul P” (which is most likely a fake name) MUST charge me for all five nights because it is the “quality inn policy”. I asked him the specifics of this policy and he didn’t even respond. I mentioned that I had a conversation with the manager yesterday about checking out early and he completely refused to check out the room for us. He held the hotel key card hostage even though we still haven’t been fully checked out. He told us that he wasn’t going to deal with us and have to wait for the manager to “take care” of this issue. He pretend to say he didn’t have the authority to do this process. We then said to just charge us for all five night due to the difficulties he was causing and he still refused to check out the room. He forced us to wait for at least three hours to be able to speak with the manager, clearly letting time pass by until his work shift was over so someone else would do his job that he was suppose to do in the beginning. Completely unprofessional, extremely rude, and very condescending.“Paul P” was basically trying to stealing my money because of pure greediness with no remorse. Be careful. He ruined the entire experience.

There is a parking space available, right outside, with easy access to a wheelchair.All in all, it was a great experience staying in Quality Inn.

Comment: My family and I stayed at the Sunnyvale Quality Inn. Let me just say this was the worst place we had ever stayed at. I wouldn’t even give them any stars. We had to change room three times because the first two room was falling apart. The first room had dirty sheet, broken toilet seat and broken floor lamp. Curtains was not even installed properly. Second room, the door was every hard to open because the bottom piece was broken and things inside it was falling apart. You could see the light texture from the ceiling was dangling. The room that we finally stayed at was just ok. The floor lamp won’t even turn on. The bedroom carpet was dirty. The only reason we stayed there because all the other hotels was already booked. Don’t get me started with breakfast. They had watered down juices, no flavored coffee creamer, and greasy sausages. I would not recommend this place at anyone. Dirty and it’s falling apart.

Comment: We absolutely loved this place. The staff was extremely friendly top to bottom, and the prices were much more reasonable than many other hotels in the Silicon Valley region. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we stayed here for several days. The staff was always friendly, willing to answer our questions and willing to talk. When we decided to come back for a few more days when we still had to be in the area, they had no issues booking our reservation over the phone. Id recently had surgery and they also were kind enough to make sure they could find me a room downstairs. There are cameras in the parking lot and it is well-lit and safe, and the front door is locked after 10 p.m. though you can still come in as the front desk attendant will let you in if you are staying here. So its nice and safe when you stay here. Before I stayed here, Ive read several nasty reviews about other hotels in the area. Its nothing like that at this hotel. Its clean, well-kept, and the staff is friendly. Plus the breakfast actually a nice full breakfast with a excellent array of choices. We will definitely stay here again when in the Silicon Valley area!

In the second room I found a roach as it was crawling towards me in the bathroom and the sink in this room was leaky as well. The WiFi is free (excellent service, if it lags disconnect then reconnect), theres a mini gym (really up to date equipment), also the breakfast has loads of options (only one waffle maker unfortunately) the room are of good sizing (they have complimentary water bottles and snack + coffee + refrigerator + iron/ironing board + hair dryer in the bathroom. The bathroom itself is sound proof, so if youre taking a shower no one else can hear it. Also theres extra long cable chargers in the drawers. This place includes a pool. The socond day the faucet and tub spewed brown water, presumably from not flushing the system after working on it. They tried to charge me for three nights after I cancelled the first night. The entrance is a little difficult to navigate and found Uber drivers having difficulty navigating it. Breakfast was good, nothing special but they had a few things I could grab on my way out for snacks during the rest of my day. Front desk service was top notch, I accidentally left my sunglasses there and they had already found them before I called and held onto them until the afternoon when I had time to go back for them. Great experience and would recommend.

What was more unprofessional of him was to state that I was having a bad day when it was his attitude and Unprofessionalism that irked me more.Select this hotel only if you are least bothered with interacting with staff or least bothered about the services.

Comment: Nice and clean. Breakfast is decent, wouldnt say good per se. But the maid service seems impeccable, the service at the desk perfectly adequate and the location convenient enough. Theres a few restaurants nearby and the light rail is also just a short walk away. Theres a lot of road noise; thats the biggest con i can find.

Comment: I stayed at the Quality Inn Santa Clara while attending at event at the Techmart center, and was totally pleased. The rooms were attractive, clean, and well maintained, including luxury bedding. The rest of the hotel was also perfectly nice, nothing fancy, just nice, and also clean, attractive and well-maintained. The front desk was efficient, friendly, helpful, and just plain lovely.The hotel is EXTREMELY convenient to Santa Clara Convention Center, to the Techmart Center, and to Great America. The Quality Inn is $100 - $200 less expensive per night than the Hyatt Regency and Hilton next to the Convention Center. Im the kind of person who would rather save the money and do without marble floors and fancy flowers in lobby, uniformed doorman, and such.Instead, I like what is included the Quality Inn, and which the fancy hotels nickle-and-dime you for. Free WiFi. The bottle of water in the room is free, not an overpriced trick to raise your bill. A real refrigerator you can use, not a mini bar. Instead, A couple of free snacks are in the room when you arrive.Basically, clean, comfortable, attractive, quiet, convenient, friendly, and at an attractive price. My kind of hotel.

Comment: Best overal Quality Inn I have ever seen. Everything about the place was spotless. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Im thinking that the place is either brand new or completely refurbished. They offered a nice breakfast room with a nice, but simple breakfast that included a Belgium waffle maker, eggs, cereals and a large screen TV. Yes - they had Wifi. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. I normally dont right reviews, but this place deserved it. I even told the owners that this was the nicest Quality Inn Ive seen, to which they said, youve made my day.
