Comment: I am editing my review today 4/18/24 to speak to some of the newer reviews here. I would point out these new residents were given a grand incentive of up to 12 months of free rent amounting to about $15k to buy here. I would give 5 stars too for a year rent free.Aesthetically its a nice park, we appreciate the efforts of our new owners, so long as that cost is not impressed upon us in one giant rental increase.But more to the point, if you have to be afraid of going in the pool because it is left to the pool guy to keep it safe, not management checking themselves that it is safe, like a simple Ph test daily, then you wont like it here.If you dont like theres no HOA here, but a Social organization that inserts themselves into resident meetings where they dont belong, after they very pointedly, for years, have griped about them not having anything to do with management, you wont like that either.If you dont like when you decide to sell your house, if you dont sell it through the management company, who offer perks you could never offer, in addition to devaluating your home outside of market rates, you wont like it here.Am I happy here? Yes and No. We are captive tenants as they say in the business, and they know that.But in the 9 years weve been here, the past few year under this management, resolve has become more difficult than ever.The last meeting we had was such a negative waste of time, and to see the San Diego team bamboozled by the Social club into letting them run the meeting as they laid in the hand of each resident, THEIR agenda, only then to have to listen to their petty, tiresome complaints about things relating to their club not the residents made us get up and leave. We were given our own form to fill out with grievances which were ignored, we knew it was a no solution waste of time as we soon realized who was actually running the meeting.All management had to do was go over those forms to see a pattern and come up with a solutions. They would have been heroes. Instead, they were zeros.And that, has now turned into the biggest complaint about this park, the indifference, and I dont necessarily mean those in the office, I think their hands are tied. So, If you don like that behavior, then you wont like it here.Its not enough that our streets have become an open raceway for loud cars, motorcycles, and visitors who never seem to leave (who dont meet the age requirement) and come and go all hours of the night. In addition to that, the ubiquitous delivery truck drivers who cant seem to slow down once theyre in here, this has become a noisy, unsafe park to walk in or indeed, swim in.I dont blame the new owners for ills that came with their purchase, but its been a couple of years now and the onus is on everyone, the owners, the management and the residents.And, if you dont live here, keep your reviews to yourself. Visitors are guilty too.

Comment: Very poor management, they break there own rules and policies just to accomodate a chosen few. Management uses the janitor and caretaker as bodygaurds to intimidate tenants. Some tenants have there camaras pointing at other peoples homes only to violate once privacy and management doesnt seem to care. Remeber that invasion of privacy is a gross of once personal space. The last managers that were here were escorted out of the facility by security. We are under new ownership but management is not so great..... The facility is nice but they do have a lot of issues to work on....

Besides being knowledgeable and efficient, they were also kind, patient and friendly.They took the time to introduce us to Martin and Trent, both of whom also warmly welcomed us.We have high expectations for being very happy in our new home. Comment: I just bought my home here and this has been the best decision. The office staff is very friendly. Elizabeth made my move in process smooth. She is very helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff Martin and Trento are friendly as well. This place is beautiful. The staff here is very friendly and go above and beyond customer service.

Credit where credit is due. Please remain consistent on an ongoing basis and reviews will jump up.9/9/23The rose bushes and shrubs finally trimmed after many months. The gully trimmed up. Hopefully management will be proactive not reactive, and the landscaping will continue to be done on a regular schedule and the current gardeners will stay with the park for an extended period of time. Mission is an excellent, professional landscaping company.Again fingers crossed🤞🤞🤞Consistency is key.9/1/2023The ongoing landscaping. Lack of consistent care. The rose garden pictures I am posting are a good example. People walk by this garden every day and comment on the mess it’s in. The inclination of those of us who take the look of our homes seriously is to clip the roses ourselves, but that is not our job. The maintenance people go by there every single day to open the laundry room door and clean the area around the trashcan, but again are blind and apathetic to the condition of the park. Maybe supervision by management would help.We are having street repairs done as of this week but so far we were notified of work 5 hours after it started. The flyer placed on the mailbox five hours after the work began is signed Office Management. This tells me they are managing the office not the park. They are partially repairing cracks and leaving others untouched and creating new ones. The company packed up and left after one day. So in my attempt at giving the benefit of the doubt let’s see if the company returns and finishes the job. Fingers crossed🤞8/24/2023Going on 4 weeks of lawns not being mowed. Management posts in monthly magazine to mow your lawns but falls down on upkeep of grass in park. This is not the first time.They fired the streetsweeper company and hired a parking lot cleaner who I kid you not has a guy following behind with a broom and dustpan. This is not a small park. Anything to cut costs. It is a management and owner issue. the red curb pictures are after the street cleaner guy. He just pushed the debris into peoples driveways.The residents here get 5 plus stars for tolerating a substandard management- they get the one. Time and again park being neglected and residents ignored. Todays latest was a county health inspector shutting down the pool. I’m just guessing, but perhaps management cut down on pool maintenance. Who knowsThe neglect list is long. I’m tired of contacting the owner. Andy Goetz is his name. He is listed on Cabrillo management site leave a message he does get back to you, but when nothing really changes I wonder how aware he is of his managers activity. He says he’s open to all and any concerns but I’m not impressed. Not responsive.The park website paints a pretty picture but If you’re thinking of buying here make sure you take a very close look at how the park is maintained ie the street, the gully, weeds growing up at the back of the park, litters of kittens, stray cats, possums under trailers, bird poo on benches, dogpoo that doesn’t get hosed off on the property that the park is to maintain.,The plot lines being moved so residents have maintain areas and trees the park owns. The apathy every time something is mentioned. And don’t complain because the park views those people as “ entitled idiots” as published in the park magazine …. Just look closely.The neighbors are great but we all agree on one thing management sucks.Yes we do have a great new community center and dog park. 5 million dollars worth. You would think that with all that they wouldn’t let the weeds grow over the new landscaping but I have a different idea of how you maintain property.The added photos were taken to send to the owner because management and maintenance seem to have a blindness for issues. Comment: My wife and I have lived here for almost 20 years. We have come to know many managers and staff. Ron Weyant, the current park mgr and his staff of Elizabeth, asst mgr, and Trent & Martin, the maintenance team do an amazing job to keep our park beautiful and running smoothly. We enjoy the many amenities and our new clubhouse. Ron and his staff are very personable and easy to talk to. Together, they keep us safe and peaceful. We highly recommend Rancho Ontario Mobile Home Park. A great place for the 55+ generation.

Comment: Sadly this place has neglected to take care of their common area that sits on Walker allowing the weeds to get 5 ft tall and penalize the homeowners in Parkwood by watching there life profits and investment with their home drop in value because of the neglect of the 55 and older trailer park owner he needs to come and clean up his property on Walker and dont be a slumlord our value here in Parkwood on Walker is going down because it looks so ghetto and not to mention all of the jumping of the fence of people that are under 55 but sneak in through the Walker Street enough is enough this place is going downhill but we will continue to fight to hold him accountable for what they need to do
