Finally got to go into this very interesting store. Marvelous selection of unique Irish gifts. The selection of sweaters was remarkable. We spent a delightful hour or two in the shop. Stewart (the proprietor) was extremely helpful and pleasant. I checked out their website also. Lots of additional merchandise there. The physical store is worth visiting if you are in Ann Arbor.
It was our first time to this store. Walking by Real Irish, we knew we had to go inside and check it out. What a beautiful store. Everything is clean and neatly displayed. So many quality products, we were in to shop for a gift for family and it was hard to choose. Service was exceptional and welcoming. We received free gift wrapping and felt great about the purchase all around.
Just received a cap from Real Irish for Christmas. I have purchased four of them previously and can state they are all beautifully crafted. I actually get complements from total strangers about how cool the caps look. Steuart’s Service and personal touch are excellent.If I could make a suggestion I would like the ability to use a shipper other than the USPS. I realize the other companies usually charge more, but I routinely and happily pay more for shipping service in which I can depend on at my location.ThanksMike
What a great find in Ann Arbor. We went in the other day drawn in by window shopping and seeing the great Irish mugs. We really enjoyed the great customer service and found the amazing wool, cashmere sweaters and other great items imported from Ireland. Love the customer service and it felt great to support a local store as well as artisan crafts from Ireland.
I found an adorable Scotland Highland Cow mug made by Royal Tara from this shop online and had it shipped to the Pacific Northwest. Very quick shipping and packaged very well. I highly recommend this shop for those who want to celebrate Celtic culture!

I’ve been into the shop twice and loved it both times. The shop owner is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and my partner has found plenty of wonderful gifts for his mom, who is first generation Irish-American. I’ll continue to give my business... and just a note for folks who would rather order on Amazon: you can’t put a price on being able to support a local, actual Irish business run by actual Irish people. You can’t put a price on being able to touch and hold the items, hear their stories, and learn about Ireland from the owner. Spend the extra few bucks and purchase in store!

Awesome store, worth the drive even if you are far. Visit here and then go in any direction for lunch and drinks, like two minutes away. This place sells great hand crafted items from Ireland, the way things used to be made. They last a lifetime. The gentleman is really friendly at the store and takes the time and has the knowledge to tell you about what he sells. A store like stores used to be, an experience instead of a robot with a rack full of junk. I will definitely visit again. I have an employee working for me who was born and raised in Ireland and she knew exactly the items I purchased and proceeded to tell me stories of her mother making clothes like these by hand 80 years ago. Very recommended.
My husband and I stopped by Real Irish looking for a men’s vest. Found one and purchased it. Tried on a variety of sweaters & hats. Great customer service. Real Irish seemed very safe. Everyone wore masks. Plenty of hand sanitizer offered. We’ll definitely be back for the Holidays.
Real Irish shop is fantastic. Everything is from Ireland. Quality products and friendly service. We just got back from their Southern Ireland tour. It was fantastic. Stuart takes great care in making sure your tour is the best. A small group of 20 was perfect. Excellent hotels, great places off the beaten path to see. Your never on a coach too long and have enough free time to do what you want. I have never been on such a well organized tour with as much flexibility that they have. Ireland was beautiful and people were warm and helpful. With a small group you have the ability to get to know people in your tour group. Highly reccomend both the tour and his fabulous shop.
I am very pleased with my experience dealing with Real Irish gifts. Stuart was both helpful and kind, he responded instantly to my question of when the gift I ordered for my sons birthday would be delivered. The plaque I ordered arrived, and my son loves it and sent a picture. It is even more beautiful than it looked in the catalogue, very detailed and my son said the wood was very good. I would deal with this store again.
I had an amazing first time at the Real Irish Store last week buying several items from Stuart! Ive been in Ann Arbor for year,s and never knew this jewel was right around the corner. After visiting Ireland this past March, I have had an itch to get more apparel and items from the area. It was a pleasure coming to the store to buy gifts, and chat with Stuart about Irish history, music and his touring services. Great customer services, and amazing products! I will be back again, and highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing through Ann Arbor.
I just received mynewsboystyle,tweed hat by Hanna hats and I love it.Perfect fit.I purchased another a year ago that was identical except a different color.I was hoping to buy another but the store (in Ireland) discontinued selling the Hanna brand hats.I bought a hat thinking I was buying the same hat but boy was I wrong.The hat I purchased looked like a big,fat,tweed bag sitting on my head.So was really happy stumbling on to the Real Irishstore online and being able to buy the genuine Hanna hat.Shipping was fast and I couldnt be more pleased!Ill be shopping again at Real Irishand also taking a closer look at the tours you advertised. I love this little shop! I was able to find very nice gifts for multiple family members with ease. The owner was helpful and pleasant during my visit, offering the perfect quality and amount of customer service. He even helped me add a gorgeous necklace to my purchase for my daughter with her standing right next me, without her noticing at all. She was quite surprised when she opened her gift and absolutely loves the necklace!I will definitely shop here again.
I love the authentic Naturally Irish sweet lavender soap sold by Real Irish. They were the only store online that had this wonderful product in stock. I received my purchase only 4 days from the time I ordered. They were very quick to send it out. I would order from them again.
My experience was outstanding with Real Irish! I purchased 2 tote Harris Tweed purses from Real Irish through the online store. The pricing was reasonble, and shipping was very fast. They were well packed and arrived in perfect condition. From a product standpoint theyre very good quality and Ive been using one of them daily for just under a month now and it takes everything I throw at it (Usually yarn. Lots of yarn). I definitely recommend this shop and have had multiple compliments on my new purse.
I am very happy with my Real Irish experience. My wife loves the Innisfree perfume (and I love when she wears it) but it’s sometimes hard to find and can be very expensive. Real Irish had it in stock and at a great price. My order arrived very quickly and now my wife is happy again. I will definitely be ordering from Real Irish again.
Our son wanted a Guinness Red, White & Black hockey jersey for his upcoming birthday. Initially, I couldnt find it especially in the size we needed but after continuing to search, I found the Real Irish website, found exactly what I was looking for and immediately ordered it for him. Needed help picking out a retirement gift for a coworker. The shop owner was super helpful especially since to do not know much about Irish culture! He was very nice and was very patient with all of my questions. Would recommend to anyone who needs an Irish gift!

Real Irish has fantastic Harris Tweed bags and my mother loves the purse I bought for her! I bought the wrong bag initially and returning it and ordering another bag was a totally smooth and effortless process. I also have to say that the shipping and credit for the return were incredibly fast. I definitely recommend Real Irish and will shop there again.

Whenever I am in Ann Arbor I always enjoy stopping at Real Irish. I always enjoy looking at their selection of Irish imports and handicraft. Stuart is always very helpful and friendly. I recently bought a wool flat cap/touring cap by Hanna Hats from Real Irish and have been very happy with my purchase. I will no doubt find myself visiting Real Irish again on a trip to Ann Arbor.

True to the name of the business, the Real Irish store in Ann Arbor has authentic, high-quality, Irish-made goods... no cheap knockoffs here. Their products are beautiful, and the craftsmanship is top-notch; these are goods that were built to last not for a season, but for a lifetime. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I missed Real Irish when it left the Arbor Trails site. I am delighted to see it is open on 4th in Ann Arbor! The store products are lovely and interesting. I love the mix of fabric items, jewelry, cards, signs, sculptural pieces and even a wee area of edibles. I had heard they had some very tasty items. I found them! I’m excited to share them with family this coming week. The store is really packed with wonderfully unexpected items - real Donegal wool for crafty folk, fun signage and framed prints, beautiful jewelry items. You really have to take your time going through the store or you might overlook a beautiful treasure just waiting for you.
Great shop with excellent service. Its been a while since Ive been in the shop (requested curbside pick up this time) but I thought it was as nice or nicer than many of the gift shops in Ireland that my wife draggend me into on our trip a couple of years ago. Highly recommended.

When I was in Ireland this past September, I bought some coasters to bring back as a souvenir. My sister loved them, and I decided I wanted to give her some for her birthday, so I tried to find them online. Real Irish was the ONLY website here in the US that had the exact same coasters I purchased in Ireland. They were very reasonably priced and I ordered several. They arrived quickly, and I noticed that one was a different background then what I ordered. When I contacted Stuart at Real Irish, he sent me the correct one and didnt even ask me to send the other one back. He stayed in communication with me until everything was resolved and he was wonderful to deal with. Ill definitely order from Real Irish again, I am very happy.
I bought a Mucross Weavers scarf back in 2014. Loved it! Unfortunately, I lost it and I was devastated. I did an on-line search for the scarf and found it at The Real Irish here in Michigan. The Real Irish quickly and efficiently processed my order. My scarf arrived and I was so pleased as it was perfect!I cannot say enough good about The Real Irish. They are excellent and have another very, very happy customer.
We took a chance on the Southern Gems tour in 2018, not having been to the Real Irish shop or having met Stuart except briefly over the phone. But we liked that it was a small group, so we took off and met everyone at the Dublin airport. Wow, we were so impressed. From the first day to the last, it is obvious that Stuart carefully curates and manages the experience along with driver/guide, Gary. They both have a great deal of knowledge about Ireland and relay it with wit and humor. The motor coach is intentionally underfilled so there is plenty of personal space and the various locations are not overwhelmed with a full coachload of people. The stops were nicely thought out in order to provide an interesting variety of activities. I also like that the itinerary is somewhat fluid to take advantage of weather or an interesting activity that presents itself. The hotels and meals that are included were top-notch. In fact, we had such a wonderful time that we signed up with Stuart in 2019 for both The Emerald Isle Discovery Tour and The Majestic Wales Tour. We were not disappointed. Awesome hotels and meals, interesting activities, great driver/guides. I would not hesitate to recommend Real Irish tours to my friends and family and hope to travel with them again soon.
This is a lovely little store with a great variety of Irish and Scottish items. I was looking for a nice Christmas gift for my husband and mother-in-law and found them here easily. The owner and staff are also very friendly!
While I have only (yet) had the opportunity to shop with Real Irish online, both of my experiences were outstanding. I would imagine that this experience is even better in person. My boyfriend and I stopped in because we were intrigued by the store. Wonderful products inside, and such a wonderful man running it as well! We had pleasant conversation and my boyfriend bought a wallet (which he loves!!!) and I bought some socks for my winter boots! Can’t wait to try them out and will for sure stop back when we’re in town next
A great, new Irish store in downtown Ann Arbor. We stumbled upon it while window shopping and was greeted by a very pleasant surprise. I lived in Northern Ireland for a time and the kind reception we received from Stuart, the owner, was a lovely reminiscing of how kind and welcoming the Irish really are. The items in the store are authentic and unique. I will definitely be back for all of my Irish decor that I collect.
So much to praise! I came in because I was looking for a beautiful wool sweater for the winter. Ive been unable to find a good well fitting sweater any and I knew I would find one in here. Sure enough they had a wide selection of hand-stitched wool clothing and accessories that were made and imported from Ireland. Stu was very informative and helpful. I ended up buying Christmas presents for most of my family here as they are from Ireland. Everyone loved their gifts and I love my sweater. Ill be back!
I am delighted with my shopping from Real Irish. I purchased several of Iggy’s Donegal . . . And Beyond 2021 Calendars. The calendars are beautiful and shopping from Real Irish was handled so nicely, with great communication and delivery as promised. This was an online purchase but when the time comes that I can travel to visit the store in person I look forward to doing so.
Real Irish is a gem! Ive found that there are fewer and fewer speciality stores in Ann Arbor, and so I was so happy to see this one pop-up. The owner of the shop is friendly and tentative. This was the best experience Ive had shopping in a while and on the plus side, I left with a fantastic, green purse for my mom! You must stop on by.
Love this place. I actually saw Stuart a few years back at the Irishfest in Milwaukee that he said he has been going to for years. Ive been seeking this place out and have finally found it. Nice shop were you can get your authentic Irish gear. Great atmosphere and wearing the cologne I bought there yesterday that bears my name. Wish I would have taken photos but there will be alot on here. Some student from UofM came by and took photos of the shop that they are publishing. Stuart also does small group tours to Ireland, but unfortunately because of Covid, they more than likely wont continue until 2022.

I ordered the Extended Brim Fitted Newsboy cap in charcoal first in size S since I am a woman and another one later in green in size M.I can wear both sizes comfortably although a half size would be the total perfection. The point is whenever I wear them people are turning their heads!I love the extended brim because it casts shadow on my face it just looks so cool! I have a heart shape face and narrow jawbone so I read that an 8 piece fitted style is recommended and really they work best for my face.The quality of the tweed is amazing, I like the little colored dots in the tweed they give interesting detail to it.The craftmanship is superb.I love them!Shipping was fast.Thank you Real Irish!

It was the week of Christmas but I was keeping my fingers crossed!My 13 year old daughter had picked out a ring she had to have for Christmas except they didnt have her size in the shop, it had to be ordered! The owner was pretty certain hed get it in before the holiday so I could get it wrapped and under the tree in time! Sure enough, it was there in two days! He never asked for a deposit or made me pay in full before he put in the order, which to me was surprisingly appreciated!I would recommend this downtown shop to anyone who is looking for an authentic, Irish gift for someone special. You will receive wonderful, attentive service from someone who knows their business!

What a breath of fresh air!! Walked into the new Real Irish shop in Ann Arbor yesterday and was instantly impressed with the variety of quality hats, sweaters, socks, vests all at reasonable prices. Stuart was helpful, friendly, and even gives late summer tours of Scotland and Ireland. Definitely planning on stopping by again and highly recommend checking it out!
I stopped in yesterday on a day visit to Ann Arbor. I’ve been to many Irish stores over the years, but Real Irish had the best quality items and wide selection. Stuart was welcoming and generous with his time. If you have a chance, I highly recommend a visit!

Real Irish is a true gem. Stuart was knowledgeable, helpful and patient as we searched for a replacement wedding band for my husband. We had never shopped at this store but definitely visit again soon. We also learned of travel tours they provide to Ireland and Scotland which sound amazing.
My wife and I had the opportunity to travel with this Real Irish tour group this year. We had a fantastic time. Stuart gave us plenty of time to explore each town we visited. The local tours were very unique in that they included things like visiting a sheep farm and leather goods maker and horse farm and of course plenty of castles and distilleries. Gary the bus driver is a hoot. This guy is extremely knowledgeable on the daily living in Ireland. his endless quips of information is very entertaining. The bus had lots of open seats so every one could look out a window at the beautiful scenery. We never felt like we were on the bus too long. I almost forgot, the food and accommodations were outstanding. The country is beautiful and the locals were very charming and hospitable. This was a great trip!

Ive been using Inis Cologne for many years, the fragrance is subtle and clean. Not having to use a heavy application, its staying power lasts as much as eight hours, as compared to other colognes, fading in a few hours.Stuart and his Real Irish Team provide excellent and personalized service. My husband and I usually travel independently and had never taken an extended group tour before we signed up for the June 2018 Real Irish tour. We are certainly glad we decided to change our usual pattern and give this tour a try. It was lovely not to have to do all the planning and driving for once, and we definitely saw far more than we could have done on our own. Plus we got to stay at much posher places than we usually do and the meals were great! We were blessed with outstandingly good weather for most of the trip which made the beauty of Ireland even more spectacular. The others on the tour with us were a very congenial group of (mostly) other Michiganders, our driver/tour guide, Gary Tierney, was funny as well as informative, and along with Stuart Marley, the tour organizer, all combined to make this a remarkably pleasant and enjoyable trip. There were too many highlights to include here, especially since I can’t choose just one favorite. Suffice it to say that we loved this adventure and highly recommend taking a Real Irish tour to those considering it.
I first met Stuart at his wonderful store in Brighton and chatted about visiting Ireland someday. I was so impressed that I booked a trip very shortly after. I am so happy I did. My wife and I recently joined Stuart on the Southern Gems tour. What an incredible experience! Visiting my ancestral homeland had been a lifelong dream and this trip was everything I had hoped for and more. We made 18 new friends while visiting castles, taking in breathtaking scenery, factory tours, doing lots of shopping and sightseeing in cities, had wonderful meals and relaxed in lovely hotels. And the pubs, oh the pubs! I just can’t say enough good things about the trip, and how Stuart took such excellent care of every detail. I can’t wait to go back on another trip.

The store took over the location after one of my favorite bookstore closed after 28 years in business.....I thought it would be bittersweet for me to go there and find it taking over by a new business, yet my experience at Real Irish was so wonderful all I could feel was excited and happy to have the space taken over by such a fabulous shop! Wonderful products and the owner was a joy to talk with!
I made my purchase in the store in Ann Arbor, not online. I love the store, there are so many beautiful things to look at and the quality is so good. I love the hat I bought, it is very nice and very warm. The service is excellent, they are there to answer questions, but also happy to just let you browse!
I purchased 2 Mullingar pewter pocket watches. One for my father of Celtic decent & one for my irish significant other as Christmas gifts. They arrived promptly & well packaged. I am getting them engraved as well. I am eager to see their reactions to these gifts!

Stopped by to check out this new store in town. Stuart, the owner, greeted us right away and from there the whole browsing and shopping experience was a delight! There are so many beautiful items in the store—and Stuart can tell you all about them and what makes them unique. I ended up purchasing the whiskey marmalade (its divine on toast with a cup of tea!) and a Harris & Tweed purse. Ive already received multiple compliments on the purse. I just received my order from Real Irish -- a bottle of cologne called inis, the energy of the sea. I had complimented a friend who was wearing it and then Googled it. I had a choice of ordering from Amazon or Real Irish and chose the latter to support their business. So glad I did -- I received a thank-you email from the owner in addition to the standard order-confirmation email. The cologne arrived (via USPS) quickly and well-packaged for safe transport. A wonderful, relaxing, educational trip of SouthernIreland. Small enough group to get to see all of the sites; relaxing in that we stayed in great hotels and had at least 2 nights in each venue with plenty of time for our own site seeing and shopping. Meals were great and Stuart and Gary were terrific hosts and very, very knowledgeable and shared it with all of us. (They made the trip so much fun!) A great and very enjoyable trip!!

Its been a lifelong dream of mine to visit Ireland. When Kristy and I met Stuart at a wedding in summer of 2016 we decided to visit the shop and possibly book a tour. We did both and went on the Southern Gems tour in early October this year. We had a wonderful time on a beautifully planned trip! Beginning to end all the details were taken care of nicely. From staying in excellent hotels to eating at restaurants with excellent food!! A great combination urban and rural visits! Dublin had many options for us to visit with the free time to do so. The Dingle Penninsula was beautiful and wild!! We visited a sheep ranch and a small shop where they made custom leather goods!! Highly recommend this trip!
Stuarts Real Irish store has a variety of quality products from Ireland and wonderful customer service. He also offers tours such as the Southern Gems of Ireland trip which my husband and I joined this past October in 2018. Stuart made sure we had a great coach guide, Gary, who is witty with historical notes. As it was our first trip overseas together, Stuart organized everything and made it amazing for us.
I have been purchasing Inis cologne for my husband every year for, I honestly cant recall, but it has been at least 10 years from Real Irish. One of the perks of my purchase started a year or 2 ago, a free body lotion with purchase. This year, I bought 2 bottles of cologne, but the lotion was not included in my shipment. I briefly mentioned the omission in a reply email to Stuart, not thinking much about it. He immediately replied and told me that he was sending not one, but two body lotions and apologized for the omission. I have never had a problem with this company and their customer services has always been impeccable. Stuart has solidified me as a continuing customer with this small gesture and, as my mother desires to return to Ireland for a visit, I am considering using the Real Irish tour in 2020. I highly recommend this company who will go to great lengths to make you a happy customer!!
Our Irish adventure began in a small coffee shop in Brighton Michigan when we met Stuart Marley and started discussions for a trip to Ireland. We had some ideas about things we and a group of friends wanted to see and do in the northern and western parts of Ireland. After listening to specific places we wanted to have included, Stuart started with one of his regular tours and customized it to fit our group by augmenting it with many wonderful ideas including places and activities known only by someone who has grown up in Ireland.Our group of 12 arrived in Dublin where we met Stuart, our planner and guide-in-chief, and Gary, our driver and commentator on everything Irish, from bicyclers in Spandex to the National Bird of Ireland - the thousands of construction cranes in frequent view. It took us only about an hour to recognize the knowledge and sense of humor that would accompany us for the nearly 2 weeks we were in Ireland.During our visit, we were:-Exploring Dublin, including the Book of Kells at Trinity College-Engaged in the history of this unique nation-Gaining understanding of the conflict between the North and the South for hundreds of years-Exploring small places where you cant possibly go with a large group-Standing on the edge of the North Sea wondering if we could walk across the Giants Causeway from Ireland to Scotland-Taking walking tours in numerous charming small and large cities-Meeting locals through Stuart and Gary who seemed to know everyone in Ireland,-Looking at the beautiful cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean,-Staying 3 nights in a 5 star resort near Donegal called Harveys Point-Experiencing several stops in local restaurants and pubs-Having a nice balance and pace in our sightseeing and free time-And visiting the Aryan Islands.The entire tour was a wonderful joy and we hope to be able to join Real Irish, Stewart, and Gary again some day.Jo and Skip Blunt

This is the only place I could find flattened Guinness bottles, and turns out they also have Smithwick’s and Jameson! Got these as a present for my husband, as a fun reminder of our honeymoon in Ireland. One of the bottles broke during shipping, and Stuart was so lovely to call me and discuss. Visited Ireland, N Ireland, and Wales with Stuart and Real Irish Travel in Fall 2019. Wales was an amazing surprise and we loved it more than Ireland (which is saying a lot since Ireland was pretty wonderful.). The small group made much of the difference, especially in Wales with smaller roads and sites. First class hotels all the way. Transfers and luggage handling are no worries. No surprises on what is covered or not in the price. Bus was first class, clean and roomy (vans in Wales.) Loved the thoroughly-vetted local tour operators/drivers and the well-known, lesser-known, and unknown stops Stuart includes on the itinerary. This is a busy itinerary and is not for late sleepers but you see ALOT! Overall, a no-worries tour we would certainly recommend.

We were spoiled from the moment we arrived at the airport for departure and saw Stuart waiting there to make sure we had no problems checking in, to the moment he saw us off in Shannon. I would highly recommend Real Irish and Stuart to anyone looking to travel to Ireland. The accommodations were top of the line and the meals provided exceeded our expectations. We saw many points of interest and were awestruck by the beauty of Ireland’s southern coast. Gary, our coach driver was knowledgeable, entertaining and drove flawlessly throughout our trip. The Ireland trip was absolutely fantastic. Very different than vacations my wife Sue and I normally take. We didnt know what to expect. What we did expect and got was friendly people, and spectacular scenery. Having somebody like Stuart and Gary drive us around as opposed to renting our own vehicle and having to navigate the left hand side of the road was a no-brainer. BUT, what might not be obvious to the guided tour shopper is the huge difference the itinerary/agenda, the coach (not bus) size and the groups size could make in the experience. This is where the Real Irish tour was so special. They clearly had done it a million times before, and had thought of and made arrangements to maximize the EXPERIENCE as opposed the number of places seen. Gary was hilarious, and extremely insightful into historic as well as current events in Ireland/UK. It was so rich with history, we came back wanting to learn more about the country and its massive history. Doesnt everybody have Irish in their family tree somewhere? Probably...The trip was phenomenal, we highly recommend THIS TRIP. It was exactly what we were looking for, comfortable, educational, and stuff. The stops included the obvious (Guinness, Jameson) but also included some obscure (bought belt/wallet/purse at leather shop, scarf, not sure what else at wool shop). Even played golf. The included Celtic music/dance concert was awesome. Gary and Stewart also arranged for spectacular weather. Well done.

My wife and I took part in an eleven day tour of southern Ireland with Real Irish Tours. The group was small enough (20) for us to get to know everyone fairly well by the end of the tour. Plus we had a full size coach, thats a touring bus for you yanks, so everyone could have a whole row if desired. This made the sightseeing effortless. Stuart and Gary, the driver, know Ireland well and their low key humorous style kept everyone engaged and happy. These tours cost a bit more than your average big company tours but the extra cost is well worth it. We stayed at all 4&5 star hotels. Our luggage was promptly delivered to our rooms at each stop and just as promptly loaded onto the coach on departure. Each overnight stop, save one, was for at least two nights so there was no rushed feeling. We would definitely take part in another tour with Real Irish.
This is a great company! They offer a diccount on your first purchase, which was a nice bonus. I was super impressed with how quickly my packaged arrived as well as how amazing my perfume was packaged. I will definitely order more products from this company in the future.

If you want quality authentic Irish caps. Only buy from this site.I have many caps , Do not buy cheap China caps, do not fit correctly and they fall apart and I would rather look handsome and not sloppy.The sevice was awesome I accidentally selected the wrong hat twice (my fault) and they were very helpful to get me what I wanted. I called and immediately got a real helpful person. Rare these days. I prefer to buy from smaller stores so I get the service I deserve..
I went in there on a rainy, Tuesday afternoon while the store was practically empty. Every employee was so kind and tried to help me find what I needed, even when I really didnt understand what I was looking for. I bought these beautiful Claddagh rings for my daughters, there was such an extensive collection and I was able to get a different one for each of them. I would definitely come back here and I recommend this place for all your Irish needs!

Simply found this store looking on line. Just bought a Hanna hat from a local Irish store but found it wasn’t quite right. Your variety of Irish Newboy hats hats is excellent. You have a a great variety of styles and colors plus the right sizes to match. No always is the cheapest variety the Best Buy especially if it’s the wrong style. Didn’t know there were so many styles. I was looking for a standard hat b it with a bent rim. In the photo this appears to have a good bent brim but a full hat.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS COMPANY. They came as a vendor to the Milwaukee Irish Festival (2016) and overcharged me for a keychain. I didnt notice my receipt until the next morning - which read $47.52 and the keychain was $8.00. I spoke to someone that morning and they asked me to email them the details and he would look at his receipts and get back to me. I have not heard back from anyone and Ive sent 3 emails and made 2 additional phone calls. This is unprofessional and rude to take advantage of people having a good time celebrating Irish culture. AWFUL company!

Very nice helpful lady there when i went, everything except for one thing is all directly from Ireland, they have everything from Irish jewelry to soap to clothing to even Irish snacks. Highly recommend for anyone looking for Straight up Irish goods.
Go somewhere else. I bought a ring here to give to my girl as a going away present. They didn’t have her size so the owner told me I could take the one they had and that she could come in and order her correct size no problem and it would only take a couple weeks. Two weeks go by and no ring. My girlfriend calls in “ just another week and it will be in” he says. Another week goes by and no ring. Not to mention he never bothers to call either of us to tell us of the extended delay’s or their causes.Eventually I get a hold of him ( more than two weeks past the day he originally said it would be there) and he tells me he doesn’t have time to talk because he’s getting on a plane, so I ask if there is anyone else who can settle this matter, and he tells me he’s the only one.Side comment: the women I originally talked to at the store knew next to nothing about any of the products I asked about.I figured I’d choose this place over a jewelry store, for the charm and small business care. What I got was unprofessionalism.November 2017:The ring arrived after 5 weeks, and after some expression of dissatisfaction and a request for a refund, i was granted one by the owner for the full value of the ring

2020-07-21My wife and I joined a group of friends on a tour of Ireland with Stuart of Real Irish Tours. I can honestly say that this was the best organized and most enjoyable tour that we have ever taken. Stuart had everything superbly organized and his knowledge of Irish geography and history made the experience quite special. His tours are small so that everyone on tour gets to know everyone else. I can also say that the accommodations and food on the trip were well above expectation. We really hope to take additional tours with Stuart as soon as this virus is behind us. We recommend Stuart and Real Irish Tours without hesitation.

2019-11-30We recently had one of the best travel experiences of our lives, on the East to West Ireland trip. Expectations met: sense of security and ease with a seasoned coach driver; all details taken care of by Stuart and Gary (tickets, meal reservations, luggage handling, thoughtful restroom stops, etc.) and carefully chosen sites to visit and learn about Irish history and culture. Expectations that were far far exceeded: the warmth and camaraderie quickly formed within a lovely group of people, created and encouraged by Stuart & Gary; the beautiful accommodations, usually within walking distance of many shops, pubs & restaurants; the reasonable daily expectations of activities rather than trying to see too much in a short time; the mix of castles, gardens, museums, urban areas, and incredible outdoor adventures - a great combination for indoor/outdoor experiences; the coach that allowed for a little elbow room and such pleasant drives; and just the right amount of free time for us to explore each city as we wished. We cannot recommend travel with Real Irish highly enough. It was magic.

2020-09-07From the urban streets of Dublin and Belfast to the rugged Sliabh Liag Cliffs and Aran Islands, Stuart custom-designed a fascinating tour of Northern Ireland that kept our group enthralled for the entire ten-day experience. Moving at a very comfortable pace, our days were filled with breathtaking scenery, exploration of the countryside which included small villages, castles and gardens, and a haunting tour of the the National Famine Museum. In addition, we enjoyed interesting city tours of Dublin, Belfast, Londonderry, and Galway. The planning and execution of each days schedule was meticulous, yet we had opportunities for spontaneous adventures like an unscheduled stop at Nancys Bar, (sadly, no relation!), where we all had Irish coffee. Throughout our travels, we learned extensively about the history, culture, and politics of the area. In every way, Stuart provided a memorable adventure that reflected his love of his native land.

2017-12-05I participated in the Real Ireland tours of both the northern half and southern half of Ireland. Both were full of interesting stops that were well planned and exciting, but at a reasonable pace. Fine hotels and great meals too! The store in Brighton is a delightful place to visit, small but well stocked with high quality items from Ireland. So far, Ive purchased tweed hats and scarves for myself, a wool throw for the house, and a beautiful Celtic ruana for my wife. Both the Real Irish tours and the Real Irish store in Brighton, Michigan provided by Stuart Marley are top notch!

2020-11-08I was so excited to find an authentic Irish store in the US. I was looking for these beautiful Fisherman of Ireland wraps and couldn’t find the colors and sizes I needed from my other favorite Irish online stores. I found Real Irish on a whim and was so impressed with Stuart’s excellent customer service and prompt replies. I was having some difficulty with my transaction online and Stuart was so personable and kind helping me complete my transaction. I ordered two of the wraps and they are beautiful, warm and perfect in every way. Real Irish sent me my items very quickly and packaged perfectly. I will definitely be returning for more beautiful items.Even though I live in NC where the winters are not too terribly cold for very long my husband and I both prefer all of our Irish Wool sweaters, scarves and wraps over any of our other winter garments. The quality and workmanship is well worth the price tag in the long run and nothing keeps you warmer or stays as beautiful as timeless Irish wool. You will not be disappointed in this stores selection or customer service.

I ordered the item as a gift for my husband for our anniversary since we got engaged in Ireland in 2018. I am sure that he will love it and I am looking forward to shopping here again in the future!

2020-12-12I finally had an opportunity to pop in this charming Irish store, and I am so glad I did. Truly authentic Irish items and Stuart really knows a great deal of information about all of the products. Being from Donegal and growing up in Whales he really understood the products and history I so love. I have traveled to Ireland several times and have seen the items in the local stores as well. I purchased some beautiful leather totes and when I got home did some additional research to find it was a small business in Ireland using all sustainable hides with the best practices. I’ll be back for sure! Thank you for such a great experience.

2020-11-23It wasnt until our daughter married a man intensely proud of his Irish heritage that prompted me to visit Stuarts store. The Guinness hockey jersey in the window may prove to be a perfect gift for our new son-in-law, but it WAS the perfect introduction for me to a store and shopkeeper I should have visited long before now. I am not Irish, but I am drawn to timeless authenticity - the gorgeous sweaters and other items in this store are high quality and authentic. Ireland has been high on our places to visit and as soon as we can safely travel, well be back to speak with Stuart at Real Irish. Even if youre not Irish, youll need one of his fishermans sweaters, beautiful hats or a scarf if youre in Michigan.
