Absolutely wonderful experience and establishment all together. The entire hotel staff was super friendly, dedicated, and worked hard to accommodate all of my needs from check in to check out. Clean rooms, competitively priced, fast reliable wifi, and, a vending area for snacks. Definitely environmental friendly and well maintained property throughout.Thank you for making my stay enjoyable!James S
Positive: Low price Negative: When we were given our room they said the carpet had just been cleaned. When we got to the room it stunk so we went back and they gave us another room and the key didnt work. After looking at 4 rooms we finally stayed in one that was decent.
This red roof inn experience was aweful, we need a room to stay for the night cause we were having work done at our house. When we checked in online we couldn’t even find out room sooner to find out it was in the very back of the hotel, that was the least of our concerns. When we walked in it smelled like smoke, the sheets were dirty, pillows had stains, socks and wrappers in the drawers, and don’t get me started on the bathtub, and toilet, and sink. The air conditioner was super loud, and was breaking, the carpet looked nasty, and there was so much noise outside the room I couldn’t sleep! Would not recommend at all..
First room I was assigned the bed spread was dirty and the air conditioner was mangled and broken, like someone had kicked it forcefully. The next room had an overwhelming smell of smoke in a room which was supposed to be non smoking. I called and the maintenance person came and sprayed some deodorizer on the curtains and carpet and left a can of air freshener with me for further use. I agreed that I would accept the room as it smelled ok then. I left for my function, and when I came back the room was overwhelming with that smell again. I sprayed the freshener and determined I would stay the night having turned up the air-conditioning to freshen the air. I woke up in the middle of the night choking on the smell, the air-conditioning fan had turned itself off. Aaagh! At that point I got on the internet and booked another hotel, called the front desk and told the night manager I was checking out in the morning even though I had paid for 2 nights. PS no refund available if u use booking.com wish I would have paid more attention to that tidbit! Needless to say, sorry but your management of the hotel needs some help to regularly clean, sanitize, and monitor the ongoing problem of smoking in a non smoking hotel.
The whole place was disgusting. We stayed there for 3 nights & not once did they clean. The air conditioner didnt work properly, no cold air came out. We never got new towels so we had 2 towels for 4 people until my husband finally went & opened the broken linen closet & got more. There was a sticky mess on the floor in our room & the garbages outside were overflowing. The pillows were jacked up & the mattresses were uncomfortable.
Had no power at home so had to come to the Red Roof Inn for a couple of nights. I was lucky to a room. Everywhere else was booked. Got 2 full size bed. Woke up with a sore back & not enough room to sleep in the full size bed with my 14 year old granddaughter. Price for 2 days was outrages. The cleck at the front desk was nice & the housekeeping lady was excellent.
This was absolutely one of the best experiences my wife and I have had with red roof. There was a manager name Ms. Kayla that made the experience worth coming back. She handled my booking put me in a very clean room exactly where I wanted to be inside of the hotel and Granted my request for a early checkin. She was very pleasant had a good attitude and treated me like I was family. I will definitely be coming back and this is just day one of my stay. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I want somewhere quiet and clean to bring the family too. This nine day stay was worth every penny. The young lady that was being trained was super nice and helpful and answered all my questions about monthly rates. Every time I called or needed anything she was there to help me.
I normally would rate this place a 3, however the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff earned them an extra star. There are definite smells coming from each room. Though I will say the housekeeping staff does keep the surfaces very clean. Some killz paint would go a long ways to eliminating the smell.Yes, while I know it’s legal in MI, you WILL smell plenty of pot, cigarettes, etc.Overall I felt pretty safe. There were a few “characters” milling about. But, there were just as many everyday people as well. It’s the old adage of, you get what you pay for. And for 60 a night, you really can’t beat it.I am also a MAJOR fan of the no cost pet policy. No deposit even for cleaning!Overall I’m happy I stayed here.
The gentleman at the the front desk was awesome and nothing but helpful! With that said, I would not recommend anyone to sleep there if you are sensitive to smells or dirty bedding. The first room stunk so badly and after pulling back the comforter, there was dried food stuck to it. On top of the overwhelming smell, which I could not place, the smoke detector had a plastic bag over it as if the person before me was smoking inside. The man at the front was very sorry and sent me to another room. That room smelled a little better but yet again, the bedding was stained and I didnt want to even wonder if the bedding was clean. I went back to the front and asked for a refund and he was once again very sorry and had no problem issuing a refund.
Staff was very friendly and always available and attentive to what you need. The overall area is generally very quite and when I had to stay unexpectedly for 3 weeks for car problems the staff was extremely considerate and welcome. I will go out of my way to stay at this location again. No issues with people cleaning after their pets either.
The hotel was the worse stay I ever have had at a Red Roof inn. We found tons of things wrong with the room from the brew basket missing, and the bed stain and found drugs shaving in the dresser and night stand. Too a young man name Austin who was very rude to my wife and I . I would not advice you to take your family to this hotel or bring your wife or if it’s just you I would tell you NOT to waste your money to stay here. They say are 100% smoke free but they allow you smoke all over the hallways and balcony and places there don’t stay here
Still coming here and it’s always something now. New management just does not care. Meth heads walking around and rooms always smell like cigarettes, sinks plugged, dirty as Everrrrrr floors. Stinky bed linens. Good thing we clean the heck out of these rooms before decided to lay our heads down. When you call front desk for something they act like they can’t hear you on the phone. Bring back old management and staff.
The room was awful! The toilet had black mold in it, the shower was dirty, the floors had not been swept, and the top cover of the bed had orange dirty fingerprints on it. There was no manager available to speak with. There wasnt another foom available. We were supposed to stay four nights and we left the next day. The front desk staff was not helpful at all. This place is a total DUMP!!! Do NOT stay here!!!
We like the place because they accept pets, no weight limit. McDonalds is next door and Burger King is across the road.Check-in was a little annoying because I had to wait for the two ladies to finish their conversation before they helped me.Room was small, but for one night it was all good.Only complaint on cleanliness was the dried fecal matter on the back of the bowl.Yes well use them again.
This place is a dump. The first room’s a/c unit was smashed in. The second room’s unit hardly works. It smells musty. A drawer is missing in the dresser - not that I would even use it. The only good thing is how happy this rescue dog is to get out of the shelter for a night.
My friend had her 21st birthday and her and her boyfriend needed a hotel room for the night. The man working the front desk refused her ID that was *NOT* expired and though said void, had the government form validating her ID. I tried the same, as I also have an ID that is not yet expired, has VOID, as well as the government form stating it is still a valid ID. We had to call a third friend and make 3 more trips before she was able to get a room. The guy seemed to be on some ego trip because when I went back in and very kindly tried to explain to him that I understood that he couldnt accept paper form of ID (printed copy of an ID, and this was not that), he copped an attitude stating that its too hard to explain and how was I going to teach him about something he was thoroughly trained on? Didnt even bother actually looking at our papers or IDs and kept telling us the same thing over and over. Obviously the guy needs some more training and to let go of whatever chip is on his shoulder. I didnt personally stay here, though I definitely will be choosing to stay elsewhere in the area if needed and recommending others to do the same.
The rooms in the back are spectacular for the price! (Water/Trees)Problem is the owners & management.Stayed there approx 3months.There supposed to clean rooms every 3days for covid but they didnt do it. Had to pay a cleaner to clean room.Really tacky about towels. They should bring you your mail instead of having to go to the office yourself.
Positive: The room had dog hair all over the floor, and urine in the toilet. half of the room did not have electricity. perhaps a fuse blew, but upon telling the attendant, he said its the only room available and he would cake a note. Negative: I ended up waking up late for my event because there was no power to the alarm clock. the fridge or the microwave also had no power, so all my food I brought for my art show the following day was also wasted. I was extremely disappointed in the experienc
As expected for the price. The front desk staff was courteous. The room was nice, although the bathroom maybe could have been cleaned better before our arrival. No coffee-maker or toiletries except bar soap and conditioning shampoo. Pet-friendly (stayed there with my dog). Felt safe, even though upon check-in at ~8 pm we had to check in through a safety window rather than in the lobby at the front desk. Would probably stay here again.
I reserved a room at this location 5-23. The front desk clerk Chris was amazing! We had a few glitches in the beginning but he made sure everything was comfortable to say the least. Chris I cant say enough but thanks for your patience. While I know thats your job Red Roof needs more staff like you.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I was happy that the room was clean and packed with fresh smelling linen. It was nice and warm, and the staff were extremely quick and sanitary when completing the transaction. The rooms are nice and I got mine at a steal. Definitely a nice little find if you’re looking for a quick getaway.
If you want a place to stay to relax and lay your head down...this place was perfect . The room was clean and the beds were soooo comfy!!! Pet friendly even though, we ended up not taking our dogs. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot, blow dryer, Ironing board and iron. We got the deluxe room for maybe 10.00 more. Room was small but, not a problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful and aimed to please. I would absolutely stay here again!
I stayed at this place before but this last time was probably the worst. The morning through used to be really nice and friendly but now when I left to check out not only did I get a rude just leave your key there but I also got an eye roll from the man at the front desk. It doesnt matter if youre tired of the problems it is your job to assess and fix the problem.
It is very clean and looks to have been recently updated. The king room is very compact - which means a little small. We are visiting family so only needed a place to sleep so it did the job at a very affordable price. All the staff we met with are very friendly and helpful. No continental breakfast but had coffee and hot water available in the lobby at 5 AM. We will stay here again.
I reserved my room and arrived within the hour. In that time they had given my room to someone else and asked 10 questions or something implying that I didnt have a reservation. It took 30 minutes to sort and my food got cold, beer got warm. No compensation for any of the inconvenience. The rooms were filthy. If I didnt have work in the morning I wouldve looked elsewhere and demands a refunded. Awful experience.
Very clean, very nice staff, very quiet place. Price was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the heater / air conditioner didnt work properly. One minute youre roasting the next minute youre freezing. We could never get it adjusted properly but it seems like a pretty mold machine. Other than that very nice stay
A reservation was made through Orbitz. Once we got there, the receptionist denied that we had a reservation. My 74 year old mother and handicapped sister were confused and nervous about how to handle the situation. My sisters brace was causing her pain after a long day on an airplane, and she needed a bed to elevate pain from her blistered foot. In addition, she was unable to take her medicine on time. While we were waiting about six other people were told their reservation was not found. When Orbitz tried to contact Red Roof Inn, the hotel was unco-operative. The situation was not resolved until 2:30am, four hours after arriving at the hotel. Thankfully we were able to find a cleaner hotel for them.
The front desk was nice and was a quick check in. Upon entering the room we were hit with the smell of stale, cigarette smoke. Im guessing back in day this was a smoking hotel and it still smells. The top linens had stains and we immediately pulled them off. The alarm clock had who knows what all over it and the headboard had drips of???? YUCK. The bathroom floor corners had not been cleaned in quite awhile. We had 4 staying in our room and had to request towels each day as they only put 2 bath towels for us. The ONE good thing about the room is that the shower water pressure was amazing. I do not recommend staying here. It was gross.
Way better than the Madison Heights/Troy location beds are comfortable and everything is cleaned daily superior king room is the best in my opinion cleaner and smells fresh lol but awesome hotel over all peaceful and not crowded and people arent hanging around out side like Troy madison location thus making it feel safer ! Affordable accommodation when youre in town! Not to mention the staff(front desk!) and cleaning staff are friendly! That’s definitely a plus!
Didnt have very high expectations, having never stayed at a Red Roof In before. That being said I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very courteous, the room was very clean, and the price was affordable. The only downside is the entrance which is in a difficult location to reach during peak traffic hours. I would highly recommend this location for anyone staying in the area that is looking for an affordable place to stay with easy access to almost any store or restaurant you could want.
We enjoyed our stay at this location. The roo was clean and fresh..newer bedding was nice. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and good pressure in the shower. I knew there wasnt a microwave or fridge, but was surprised there wasnt a hair drier. Overall, I would recommend!
It was clean, and never really displayed evidence of being unsafe (beyond the exterior-entry rooms). That said, when booking for 2 adults and a kid, youd expect to have more than just 2 towels in the room. And I was a little disappointed that the room cleanup didnt automatically include new cups and coffee packets, though I was pleased how they responded to my complaint about the slow tub drain. If part of the draw for you is the No Smoking policy, it has no active enforcement, and the smokers next door stunk up our room as well. Even the staff smoked, though at least they had the small sense of shame enough to walk a few feet away from the walkways.
Great bed. Amazing A.C. Staff friendly. Good price. The hotel check in locks after hours. Normal for many motels. Kinda in a secluded area. Great for my wife and I. My sister smokes late into the night and I might be a little concerned. I tend to worry. Motel lit up very well. We stayed like 7 nights. Most people were there only for a night or two. Lots of birds around. That was nice.
We stayed here for 2 nights. It was clean & quiet. Our room was plenty big enough for us & our dog, who stayed for free. The bed & pillows were comfortable. It was pretty cold outside but the room stayed nice & warm. I used the wifi and it worked very well the whole stay.
The man at the counter asked me a bunch questions with a accusatory tone implying that I made my reservations either at a different hotel or not at all. After standing at the counter for 20 minutes he comes back and tells me he gave my room to a different person... I made my reservations within the hour and he just gave my room away and didnt recall. So, my card is on someone elses room. It took about a half hour to solve the problem and I dont believe that its been solved. My food went cold and I was not compensated at all. If it wasnt so late I wouldnt stay here. No fridge in the room, which is small anf outdated. 0/10 never coming back.
We stayed here 5 nights. When we checked in our room looked clean but the sheets had stains on them and stickers were stuck to the comforter, the bathtub was dirty and the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. We paid for a deluxe room- deluxe means it comes with a fridge and microwave. The room is very small. The guest next to us smoked right by the door, our room smelled. We bought some febreeze to help with that. That wasnt great a start. We had our cat with us (pets stay free- which is a definite plus). Despite, being disappointed at the state of the room I was very impressed with the customer service. When I asked if the cleaning lady could come back to our room, but I was worried about our cat they let me make an appointment so I could get the cat out of the room. I spoke with the cleaning lady and she was very nice and fixed the problems in the room. We had to book an extra night, I asked if I could book it through an app because they were offering the room cheaper, the person at the front desk matched the price on the app. When we checked out at 3am to make our long trip home the night auditor checked to make sure we were alright and we werent checking out because something was wrong.Pros: no pet fees, nice staff, good areaCons: small rooms, guests can smoke right next too doors, rooms not throughly cleaned
This place is dirty. When I entered my room I pulled off the blankets and seen hair in my bed and so I called the front desk and asked them to change the sheets and she said there was no housekeeping at night time. The lady up front was very nice and moved us to a different room where she said the more experienced housekeeping cleaned and we moved all of our stuff upstairs to the room and the beds looked fine this time but now there was hair in the tub. I’m honestly so fed up with this location and company.
Everything was predictably solid, but I was surprised to discover that they charge a hidden fee for the safe. You can get it refunded if you ask at the front desk, but youre only told that on a little sticker on the safe. Very sneaky. (its something like $1.50, so its not much, but its the principle of the thing that irks me)Nice beds, decent amenities, okay location for our purposes, though its not really close to any kind of notable landmark or attraction. Pretty standard, really.
Ive had an okay stay here for about a month but the last two weeks there was a woman in the front desk as a receptionist her name is Shayla or shaylee she was so rude to me it was unbelievable I had called her over the phone in my room to confirm my reservation that I already paid for and she said that I did not have the reservation so I went down to the front desk with the receipt and she started having the vase attitude with me telling her meI threw the papers at her even though you have to slide the papers under the glass which couldnt be possible that I threw met her and was very much attitude until her manager showed up and then it was all Im so sorry. anyways I would not recommend talking or working with shaylee I would recommend working with the manager her name is Kayla she is amazing and nice and calm and takes care any situation that needs to be taken care of. KAYLA IS AMAZING
Warning! The bed bugs will bite! I was in a transition of moving out of my old house and waiting to close on my new house, so I stayed in room 119 for around a week. A few days after leaving I noticed red spots all over my body, and I thought I broke out with a rash of some sort, so I went to the dermatologist. I did not tell him that I had previously stayed in a hotel because I had a suspicion and didnt want to give him any ideas. After taking one look at them he said they liked like bug bites and were probably bed bug bites, (After researching, I found that it isnt uncommon for the spots to show up days after being bit). Shortly after leaving the dermatologist, I called them and told them, the lady at the counter tried convincing me that their cleaning people are highly trained in searching for bed bugs, which obviously they are not!! If they were I wouldnt have these bites all over my body!! I informed her that I had just left the doctors office who confirmed that they were indeed bed bug bites, but she still wanted to argue with me about it, although I never heard her say come up and show me these marks, and Im sure we all know why. She stated that the manager was not there but she would have him call me. I never received a call from the low life manager who didnt even have the balls to call and hear me out. Have pictures to prove this accusation and would be happy to show anyone who cares to see. Stay away from this place.
My daughter, granddaughter and myself (their mother and grandmother) stayed here last week. Room was ok, but there were people outside drinking and smoking, listening to really loud music. One guy in particular tried following me back to my room asking me if I was going upstairs. I had to go out again about twenty minutes later. My daughter refused to let me go alone so we all went to the vending machine area. The same guy was harassing two other women who were leaving in their car. He then started talking to my daughter wanting her to go to a bar with him. I called the front desk to report him and he was in there bothering that poor girl. We only stayed there because my aunt and uncle live right around the corner of crooks rd and south blvd. I’ll never stay there again!
My son stayed there and was bitten by bed bugs the managment said they would send my son a refund and never did they never took resposability for it every time my son calls or emails the property they tell him the check is in the mail this was May 13th still nothing.Do not stay here the managment is rude and did not care that i was bit several times on my head face and side never offered a free stay and a refund that never came.
I tried to get some sugar for my coffee this morning at that was hard to do when I got here yesterday afternoon at 6 I was able to walk in and interact with the person at the desk this morning I went in to let them know I didnt have no sugar for my coffee and basically no one wanted to come to the window talk to me and someone came in behind me and went into the office act like they couldnt pour sugar in a cup for me this is not a nice place to stay and it shouldnt be no hundred no 70 and should be something like $50 a night until then dont touch this place
Came down for a party and chose to stay here again...as we have stayed here a few times before and were very happy with the rooms. This time was terrible. We checked in and just dropped our stuff in the room and left. Came back several hours later and the smell in the room was disgusting....like it may have been bug spray overload....the floors were slimy...it was actually slippery while walking on them in my sneakers. I went to the bathroom and there was a large bug...living...on the floor. I checked behind the chair and there were several large bugs!! I called the office and spoke with Heather. She said theyd move us to another room. I went to check that room out....same disgusting smell...and again several bugs under the chair! I called the office and asked that she cime look at it. She did and agreed it was disgusting. She said shed call our room and let us know what they could do for us. She called and said they could take off $20. So I said take the whole room off....and we made the 21/2 hour trip back home. I will never stay there again..it went so far downhill since our last stay there in February this year!! She said they have a new cleaning staff..... I dont know how managment can find that acceptable.....
Bathrooms small, beds are nothing special very springy, house keepers very rude try to rush you out before check out time, not enough supply for every room. Front desk folks were nice and the rates were OK, TV was old, the shower ran out if hot water in very little time.. Overall for what we paid we expected more..also the hallways are outside
This place is perfect for what it is: an Inn. A place for weary travellers to rest. Its not supposed to be a resort or a destination. Its a waypoint on your journey, and the price reflects this. The room was perfectly comfortable, the bed was huge, and the bathroom had a fan in it, which is more than I can say about a lot of hotels. There was also a desk clerk here at 11:30pm when I checked in, which can also be unusual.Parking and access were great, the room was quiet, and I have no gripes at all. I would definitely stay here again. Its not the Ritz, but not trying to be.
This place used to be my absolute favorite to go to when Im traveling with my family. Last visit was a nightmare. They gave us a room that had mold on the ceiling and was humid like I was sitting on a beach on a hot night. Those two stars for the nice staff who helped us move to a better room. Im calling them and asking for a refund on that one night.
The hotel made a mistake and somehow didnt have my reservation in the system, even though I had made it 2 weeks prior & had a confirmation code/receipt. The lady at the front desk was not very apologetic at all & argued with me for 15 minutes until she finally gave in & gave me a room, which I assume was supposed to belong to somebody else because she had just gotten done indicating the hotel was completely booked. The room had a giant-ass spider chilling on the floor & none of the channels on the TV worked. This was probably due to the rain, but still was annoying. Finally, I ended up being charged slightly more than my initial reservation had indicated because they gave me a room with a tiny little safe in it. All I know is that spiders gonna be pissed when they finally let him out of the safe.
Always priced well, clean rooms, with the virus I can tell they do there best to keep everyone with a room gap I feel clean and safe of germs for me my fiance and ocasionally when we bring our kids, we travel to the area alot to visit family and usually will get a room here!
Not having an elevator was an issue. It was difficult to carry laptop, suitcase, etc up and down the stairs. The worst part is the lack of cleanliness in the room. There was either blood or spaghetti sauce stuck on the bathroom door rim. There were stains on the covers, bedding and towels. This establishment shares the same driveway with a fast food chain, the exit of the drive-through lane. Taking a left turn out of the hotel can be dangerous, with cars exiting the drive through lane from the right, then in coming traffic from the left.If there is such a thing as no-star, thats what I would have given this establishment.
Floor was not vacuumed. When pulling back the sheets, they were dirty and saw blood stains. Not sure if it was fresh blood or a stain that wasnt bleached out. Either way a bed should not be made with blood stains on it for a customer to sleep on. Dont stay here. Nasty.
Pros: +Kind, understandable staff, that were quick to act. Re-magnetized my card. +Clean place +inexpensive +Fast Wi-Fi Cons: -Not all TV stations worked -A little low in the sound insulation department. Overall, as an individual staying there, it worked great. Would reccomend.
Came here a couple times to get away from the family with my girlfriend. Most recent time she took a nap I ran out to run errands. Came back she noticed a bed bug on the mattress and she had 3 bites the next day. We notified staff and got a refund from hotels.com needs to be fumigated.
This hotel gets no star the staff was very rude and unprofessional there’s a African American woman with dreads who takes her frustration out on customers. Dal or Daniel however you say his name he’s a Caucasian male in his mid 40’s he is completely unprofessional his time management is completely off and his ability to evaluate concerning matters properly concerns me. I believe that management should check up on their staff and give them a talk because this red roof is going to loose a lot of money if they don’t.. I also believe that this red roof can’t meet its potential because of the staff alone it’s in such a beautiful city with lots of attractions the only issue is the employees are unprofessional.
I am a big supporter of Redroof Inn and when I made reservations it was for a King Size bed, refrigerator and microwave. Once I checked in, I noticed there were none of the amenities as far as Iron, Iron board, microwave and refrigerator. This is actually the 1st in 2 years I disappointed in Redroof.
Red roof is a good hotel for the price. I felt safe while staying at the hotel. The internet was okay, but was unsecured when I visited. The hotel is in a decent location for sightseeing, walking, and shopping. Each day I stayed I walked to Riverbend Park for some exercise; it’s 1.5 miles away (one-way) with sidewalks leading all the way to the park and trails throughout the park. It was a nice place to stay to get out of the city and experience a little wildlife. The Great Lakes Crossing Outlets and the Village of Rochester Hills shopping centers aren’t too far away. I never made it to Meadowbrook Hall for a tour, but I hear great things and it is located close to the hotel (near Oakland University).
Red Roof Inn has done an amazing job improving the quality of their brand. Their remodel is fantastic, their service is warm & inviting, and their cleanliness places them along the top names in hotel quality. I would recommend them to anyone visiting in the local area.
🏩🏣🏩 If your looking for a clean, Hotel thats cheap, look no further! This is a great Hotel & both myself & my boyfriend David have visited there on several occasions during the weekends! I recommend this Hotel if your looking for a place thats reasonable, & clean! 🏩🏣🏩
The hotel meets all the expectations for a typical american hotel. For truckers: this hotel does not have truck parking though it claims to. One must back the rig into McDonalds to turn around and there are 1-2 spots on the very small street in front of the hotel in which to park. So be prepared.
ZERO STARS...THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!!! BEWARE. DO NOT VISIT HERE. MY FRIENFDD AND I VISITED AND WERE BIT SEVERAL TIMES. WE LIFTED OUR PILLOW AND THERE WAS 2 BED BUGS VISIBLE RIGHT ON THE SHEET.I HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GET HELP. THE MANAGER MAUREEN WAS THE WORST AND GOT AN ATTITUDE ABOUT ISSUING A REFUND WHEN THERE CLEARLY WERE BED BUGS.DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

2022-06-05This hotel is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Everyone on staff is phenomenal! The are super attentive and always take care of anything you need! Matt the general manager and Juliana the housekeeping manager make this place a 5 star hotel. The rooms are cleaner than a Marriott they keep the property looking very nice Anthony and Sergio were excellent with checkin and check out. All in all I will be back again many many more times to the red roof inn.

2021-12-31My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting for the holidays. The check in process was smooth, the room was small but clean and well kept. No big frills, but we did have a microwave and a fridge. It was honestly a very good stay. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

2022-01-07Check on was a breeze only took about it. Staff is super friendly and nice. They called our room 15 minutes after checking to make sure everything was good. We walked in to our room, and( I always do a walk thru and take pictures if anything was broken etc.) The room was perfect! Everything sparkled and shined. And smell of cleaning supplies filled the air. It was not over powering or anything but gave us he reassurance about a clean room. Throwing the night was very quite and while its not always ideal a mcdonalds directly across the was awesome. Very convenient. 5 stars would definitely recommend to anyone.

2022-03-12Edit:I spoke with the front desk manager, Matt, who was actually quite sympathetic and helpful to my situation, where I received appropriate compensation.Made reservations for a room 3 days in advance, I know not to expect luxury but what I got when I arrived was sub-par at best. My room was not ready and had not been cleaned when I arrived later in the afternoon to check in, after waiting for the room to be finished we arrived to a room that smelled of a homeless shelter with stains on the linens and towels, a cigarette butt on my floor (not mine), and unclean, unswept floors. I went to the front desk to complain and was told to speak to the GM the next day about my stay and they would replace the linens and respray the room. They did not swap the linens as I left my coat positioned on the bed before leaving again and when I came back to the room my coat was still in the same place on the bed, with the same stains still visible, cigarette butt still on the floor, and the horrid odor only barely managed. Overall unsatisfactory stay and wouldnt recommend again, even for the rate.

2022-06-30The best red roof inn that visited so far. Clean environment so far but don’t mind the thrash near garbage area it’s raccoons that goes in the trash area at night and make a mess around that area and they try to clean it up as much as they can. They try their best as possible

2021-11-19Nice Clean Rooms. Quiet setting. 24 hour free coffee in the lobby. This hotel is a Great Value! Most importantly an amazing staff: Juliana, Sergio, The manager, Miss K and the rest of the housekeeping staff!I highly recommend this property.

2021-10-13I always come here. Pets stay free, Its in a safe area, the rooms are always clean & beds are comfy, bathrooms are always clean, and the staff is super accommodating. Theres also plenty of places to eat nearby. This is the place to come for a room. (Way nicer than extended stay & days inn) Its so refreshing staying where people know how to run a business. 100% would recommend.

2021-08-21We booked a night here while seeing a concert a Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. Check in was pleasant and easy, with a really friendly greeting from the employee. We were a little early for check in, but he was helpful and it was no problem. Our room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and little coffee maker. Sound proofing is great in the room, and we had a really quiet comfortable night. The grounds are pleasant and well maintained. Every employee we encountered was genuinely helpful and kind. Perfect place to rest up after a concert!! Ill stay again for the next trip!
