Since wearing these RedWing hiking boots my feet and legs have never felt better! I do 3 hour guided walks in the Kona Cloud Forest here in Hawaii. My feet and legs were feeling sore at the end of each day. I stopped in to get some new laces for my shoes. The employees were both very knowledgeable and friendly. They took my shoes cleaned them up and put the new laces in. My shoes looked brand new! If you need new boots or shoes you wont be disappointed in this stores customer experience!
Experience in the store was great, I shouldve bought my first pair or work boots in there over 20 years ago. Boots I bought are very comfortable (day and night) and look good as well.
“Old school service” fits red wing shoes well. I was helped by a young man who was very knowledgeable about his shop and products. Between my coworkers and I we probably tried on 8 boxes of shoes and he was still very patient and helpful. The shoes were high quality and conditioned before we took them. They also mentioned they had a stretcher in the back in case our shoe needed alterations. I was very pleased with my purchase and when I need safety shoes again I’ll be back

Best boot place ever.! I had purchased many boots i had a pair that had a defective thing they replaced the boot . They always take care of me. And do your self a favor buy the inserts for your boots. Remember they wear out they work harder than you its only right to keep you at 100% keep your body going longer. Better shoe better life!.
Great experience. They helped me pick out a great pair of boots for work and even asked what kind of work I was doing to help narrow down the boot selection.UPDATE So unfortunately I was sold non steel-toe boots, but I went back in and got the exact same pair. I spoke with Robert, and after explaining my issue we were able to work out a deal so I did not have to pay full-price for boots that I wanted from the begining. Overall I would give this location and Robert 6 stars out of 5 if I could.
Staff was wonderful and helped me exchange shoes after owning them for a day for a different size something they didnt have to do that really went that extra mile. Will certainly come back for my next pair and recommend to coworkers.
After I was fitted for shoe size and tried on few shoes, I ordered my U.S. made safety shoes at the sterling heights store. I was very impressed with the friendly and professional customer service. I like how Red Wing offers free shoes laces for the life of the shoes and they clean them up as well. One year replacement warranty in case of defect but not wear and tear for U.S. made shoes. Wide variety and they are willing to find shoes at other stores or order the one you want. Prices are on the high side but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.
Absolutely outstanding service !!! This is the old school service, where they treat customers with respect, and listen to what you need - Not what they want to sell !!! This is the place you want to shop for your shoes or Boots. This was my first time in this place, but from now on, it will be the only place I will shop for my safety shoes.Very good selection, and quality - prices are also not too bad. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been purchasing boots from this location since 2006. Great boots, so I purchased their slippers too. Hopefully they are just as reliable as the boots.
Buying new shoes every 6 months for my 12 hr days at a factory was getting annoying and I wanted a good pair of work shoes that were going to tough it out. This is the place to get them! The staff was so polite and patient, especially Josh who helped me. I told him I wasnt picky to color or style and he found a variety of pairs in my size. He listened to the things i had to say about each shoe and offered a different pair that fixed the previous issue!
Same as the one in southgate. Ive been shopping here for years. Great place for work boots or shoes. Very comfortable and the staff sits down and works with you to get your feet measured for length, width, pressure points, weight distribution and can find a shoe to fit all your needs. A little pricey but they stand behind it and its definitely worth it.
We buy work boots here for my husband and son. It was very busy the last time we were there. The sales people were talking about only an hour left of work, when we walked in. I would suggest looking up style of boot wanted and needed before visiting this store. I used to visit Rosevilles RedWings store and it was an older gentleman that really knew his boots. You could tell him the conditions you work under and he would take him 5 seconds of thought before you had the perfect, comfortable work boot in your hand. Not impressed at all with the knowledge of these Warren sales people. At best they pointed us to Steel Toe, Composite and non-safety toe. You pretty much have to figure the rest of the boots out for yourself. Not a huge selection here. One of the top styles we wanted to see they dont even stock. Its okay store because its close to home.

Ive been using this location for roughly ten years and have never been left down. If you care about those stinky slabs of meat you walk on all day, this is the place to go. Get your boots treated and keep up on maintenance and they will last longer than your pets. You wont find a better boot.
I got what I wanted; a comfortable, durable safety shoe for work...it was a little busy when I arrived, but quickly greeted, shown examples of what I was looking for and walked out the door with a well-made quality, durable product that will give me years of service (not like other industrial shoe sellers who estimate 6 months use...what good is that)....If this review helps you please give it a Thumbs Up 👍...thank you.
Awesome customer serviceI thought I knew what I wanted going in but ended up trying on 4 different pairs of boots and the salesman had no problems with it and was patient. He was very knowledgeable about each boot I tested.

Ive been to lots of Red Wing stores, but this is now my favorite. **** UPDATE **** I got screwed over. Two days before my sons wedding I dont have the shoes that I was promised. Never going to visit this store again.

Non intrusive sales with courteous and knowledgeable service. I have purchase replacement inner soles, a pair of lower safety shoes that are over six years old and a new pair of safety boots for a hard to fit feet. Offer military discount with ID and free replace laces. Also, if you drop off your shoes they will repair or clean.
Both sales people are very helpful. Though repair is not what they do, they will maintain their shoes and boots like no other shoe store. Period. For repairs see a cobbler. Very reliable shoe.

Red Wing work boots and steel toe work shoes (the slip ons i currently have are the best Ive ever worn) are the only work related footwear Ill ever buy. Even talked myself into a pair of dress casual slip on shoes (style 4053 i believe) for home, and although their products are rather expensive, they are so well made, so incredibly comfortable and are of such great quality i feel theyre easily worth spending the money on. Of all the brands Ive owned, these stand far above the others, no contest. Spend the money, your feet will thank you.

Beating the heck out of these boots with roadwork involving concrete. Just got my 3rd free conditioning and 1st set of free laces after having my boots for a few months. So worth the cost! Thanks again

2021-06-05Great location and very helpful staff. Needed to purchase a pair of composite toe work boots for an internship on the company dime. Noah spent spent plenty of time helping me pick a pair that were comfortable and met all the safety requirements. Ended up with a pair of Irish Setter Wingshooters and couldnt be happier.

2021-12-16Bought my son a pair of work boots.I would recommend. They have the guaranteed perfect fit. It measures instep and arches and gives your true size. I spent $222 and those boots are worth every penny. My son works outside and in a warehouse. They offer a toe protect. It is a separate charge. We are going to try and go without. We have 4 weeks to make up our minds.

I own 6 different pairs of shoes and boots from Redwing and have never had a bad pair. It has taken me years to wear out the other pairs I have owned. 2021-02-12Stopped here looking for a pair work boots. They carry a variety of styles and widths which I need as I am 10 EEEE.. which surprisingly they had in the one I looked at. I am looking at steel toed boots so they are on the $$$ side, but well worth the money. The representative was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and was able to give me answers to all my questions. When I am ready to get them I will be back here to get them. Great place for the smaller to wider width folks out here looking for work shoes. They also carry slippers too in wider widths.They accept cash, Credit cards, debt cards. Have ample parking. Handicap parking but one would help with the door.
