It was a day where they were very busy. Their prices went up and the staff wasn’t very friendly, even though they’re very efficient. Would recommend going, but would no longer be my first choice.

Comment: The Matrix is one of my favorite vehicles. It was suitable for mountain roads in the winter. I had to park for a few years. I contacted Michael to resurrect. I made arrangements for delivery and the team under direction/leadership of Michael Guardado assigned to Jeff the task of resolving all issue (many warnings 🤦🏽♂️). I took the Matrix for 100 mile test drive. The Matrix is once again alive and kicking can again 👍🏾. I’m so thankful to the Redhawk Auto Service team 🎉🥳🎊.

Comment: Took my vehicle to be inspected for A.C. service, and they charged me $359.98 just to be diagnosed. (Not towards repairs)Technician- Paul Pesce told Service Advisor- Richard Sambrano that I needed an ENTIRE A.C. Unit repair because my vehicle had leaks everywhere for a total of $3,400! I got a second opinion at Temecula Auto Repair and transmission. They told me that was an incorrect diagnosis that it was a simple A.c. system valve core. They even charged me way less money for the diagnosis used that money towards repairs! Now my a.c runs 1000% perfect.Its unfortunate that this local business puts a bad reputation on local mechanic shops and SCAM people for their hard earned money. Not being able to trust an honest, good mechanic. DO NOT GO HERE and shame on them.

Comment: The manager Sean and his staff, first off are incredibly polite, their customer service goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable while waiting for your vehicle. Everyone was professional and curteous when it came to replacing my clutch in my 2014 civic. It was completed in two days, then i came in to drop the civic off for a side mirror replacement. I was going to leave but the staff had the new mirror put on in less than a half an hour! I was in and out, I highly recommend Redhawk Auto Service, they cover all the bases with friendly approachable, and knowledgeable staff. Timing is excellent when getting your car back, and to top it off the price for everything that was done was incredibly reasonable compared to other quotes I got.Great job!

Comment: Needed a smog check and the people I usually go to were full. So I saw this place in murrieta on other side of building offering smog checks and they were not busy so I decided to check them out. Now Ive had a little bit of an issue getting my car to pass the smog Ive had a check engine light that I cant fix and.last time I thought I did my usual guys told me after resetting a code you have to drive the car a bit before trying for smog again. So I did that put in almost 100 miles and like I said they were busy so I went to these other guys. Now granted I didnt ask about the no pass no pay smog service but I dont think Ive ever been to a smog place that charged me for not passing. So off course the cars computer was still not ready and the gentleman in front asked me if I had reset computer on car. I told him I had after fixing problem but had ran 100 miles already. He sated it wasnt ready and was going to have to charge me for test anyway that I should have been honest and told him I reset computer.Now as far as I know when fixing a check engine.light issues you need to reset the notification. I didnt know I had to give my whole car history to the front desk just to get a smog. He told me I shouldnt try to sneak the car past them and the test which sounds pretty unprofessional and rude. Im not a mechanic and figured the car was ready.Any way I think this place could have handled this in a more professional way maybe waved the smog fee and explain to me they charge regardless for next time. I think that would have made me me and my family loyal customers instead I will not be returning here at all.

Comment: They were amazing, i went to get a second opinion on my brakes and rotors since my first opinion wanted to charge me almost 700 dollars to get then replaced after an hour and a half of waiting because they were warped i came here and after 30 minutesthey told me that my brakes were in good condition and that the rotors just had a glaze on them and their opinion was that i dont do anything to it at all, they even helped me understand what mightve happened for my rotors to glaze in the first place. I really would recommend them since it seems like they have more concern for their customers than their paycheck.

Comment: We came in to get our front brakes done on December 2, 2023, and I was perturbed from the beginning. They never gave us an actual estimate, and the only paperwork I signed was for an inspection. The car was not looked at for at least two hours, and once it was, we only received a text about the inspection results showing a leaking battery and the need for an oil change. My boyfriend called them immediately to tell them we still only authorized the breaks, since we do the oil changes ourselves (we already knew it was due), and the battery is still under warranty. We were also told that they were still waiting for the parts to arrive and the car probably wouldn’t be done until after 5:00. When we picked the car up, the total came to $495, which was more than the back drum breaks had cost a few months earlier. I looked over the receipt and was angry when I saw that they had taken the liberty of putting the most expensive break pads and rotors on the car without ever discussing that with us.In summary, I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of transparency during this last visit and we will never trust them with our vehicles in the future.(Also, I tried to submit my review to CARFAX multiple times, and it would not let me)

Comment: With a planned 1700-mile family road trip planned this week, I needed immediate assistance and assurance of a real solution for the battery problem that suddenly arose last week.As my car is a hybrid, I was concerned about finding a solution at one of my past oil change locations. A little check online helped me find Redhawk Auto Service in Temecula, a shop with expertise with hybrid vehicles.I called Mike and he assured me they could run a proper analysis of my vehicles needs and offer the solution I needed. I had my car towed to their facility late in the afternoon, and received a call the same day that initial testing revealed problems with my small starter battery, and they would do additional diagnostics and get back to me in the AM.Early the next morning, Mike got back to me advising that the small battery he had quoted me the night before would solve all my power problems...the bigger hybrid battery was fine and I should go forward with my long road trip without any concerns.I was happy with Mikes friendly assistance and his staffs expertise, and I will be using their services for my future automotive needs. Comment: They are super expensive to begin with which is ok if youre getting what you pay for. But when questioned theyll tell you that they paid a certain amount for a part ($325 for a mass airflow sensor thats found everywhere else for a fraction of the price). The charged me $425, so an extra $100 on top of what they allegedly paid for a $100 part. They then claim they tack on their own warranty to the price of the parts. When shopping other mechanics (after the fact) they were all appalled that i was charged over $1000 for this to be replaced. They ask you to give them a chance to make it right after service... well a week has gone by after I left my concern on their survey page and still nothing.Theyll also tell you you have multiple issues that need to be addressed now. Shady mechanics.

Popped open the hood to find someone had literally left an engine filter on top of the battery terminals. The metallic grating on the bottom was literally contacting the battery and causing a fire to the engine filter. This is an unbelievably rookie mistake. Very disappointing.

I brought my 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid in last Saturday due to an oil light issue, even though I had recently gotten an oil change. The customer service from Scott, the manager, was exceptional. He promptly scheduled an appointment for me after I made an online request, and upon arrival, he personally greeted me and ensured I felt accommodated. Scott assured me that their lead hybrid technician would address the issue. Previously, I had received a quote of $4000 from another shop for an oil pressure sensor replacement. However, when I picked up my car, Scott informed me that they had successfully replaced the sensor, and the bill was only $252! I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled. Its rare to find honest mechanics who provide excellent service without overcharging, especially for women. Im incredibly grateful to the entire team at Redhawk Auto Repair. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!

AAA towed my Suburban to this facility which was my first experience here. Mike was great taking all my information, this happened on Monday the 12th. They were able to give me a call and update later in the afternoon and I was Informed that the previous auto mechanic, when they did the tune up, made some errors (wrong spark plugs for GM parts, wires melted, etc). A mess. Well, there is a happy ending to this story. Redhawk was able to get my Suburban all nice and fixed and ready for pickup by Tuesday afternoon. I was able to pick up Wednesday morning. They took apart things and couldn’t see any problem so took it for a drive and determined it was not a safety issue, is a sound issue. Gave me an estimate to replace brakes and I decided to leave it for time being. I paid the $34 to have it checked and diagnosed. This is the best car service I’ve experienced: that I could come in immediately, have the car looked at immediately, thoroughly, and pay the amount originally agreed upon when they were so responsive and patient with me. Comment: Honestly, not happy with my experience. Originally told I needed a $5500 full transmission replacement. A major expense for me. After I asked more questions and pressed about why it needed to be replaced, the story changed. Suddenly, it was a simple fluid leak from a pressure sensor. Ended up being 500 bucks or so. Good thing I didnt just say yes right away. Even then, I got a quote for the exact same service from another shop. Would have only been 390 there. Because I was already being charged 169.99 for the diagnosis which could be used towards repairs, it didnt make sense for me to use the other shop. I will say that the car seems to be running fine and they do offer a warranty on their work. But, I will not be coming back in the future and I honestly would advise anyone using this shop to get a second opinion.

It was a Saturday afternoon, and most autoshops were closed (including my usual place) during this time, but Redhawk Auto Service was available. So I got my car towed to the Redhawk Auto Service, and even though they were quite busy, they made space to take in my car and look at it. I was still in shock with my car breaking down and this was my first time taking my car to this shop, but because everyone was so welcoming and were able to break down the process in an easy understandable way- it made my experience a pleasant one. Comment: Manny met me as soon as I drove in. I had a brake light on and my steering wheel adjuster was not working.I told him I had to break hard on the freeway and that’s when the light came on. He looked at my pads and said the rear brakes looked OK and possibly the front brakes might just need the sensor to be reset. After a thorough inspection he called me and told me the rear brakes were fine but the front brakes needed to be changed. His technician fixed a little jam on the steering wheel and it works fine, no charge. I was really impressed with the total experience and want to thank Manuel (Manny) for a job well done. I am new to the area and I’m very happy to have found this shop, especially since they are open on Saturdays.

Comment: I wanted to like this place, its very convenient to my house. However, I dont think they worked on Palisades before.1. Very Professional and nice environment, 3 stars2. They showed me what was done and gave me a list. They informed me they removed the junk from air-filter in engine, and reset the gauge.I trusted them on their word. However as I got back home and shutoff the vehicle the gauge came back that it needs an oil changed. So I reset it myself, then I came to think, did they really dust out the air-filter like they stated? So I checked and it wasnt. I did it myself.well did they really do the oil change? So I checked and yeah they did. For 107.00 for an oil change, dealership charges less and more value (I was surprised), I would expect they cover their basics.So moral of the story, will I go back really depends on the schedule with my wife car and dealership. Will I take my Beemer, probably will still go to san marcos or find another place thats up to my standards. However if I ever go back, I am going to trust and verify on the spot.I also did call them and informed them of this. They were apologetic, and we ended on a positive note.

They replaced her catalytic converter that was stolen and the transmission that was slipping. Comment: My alternator froze up and snapped the belt that runs everything. I got towed to Redhawk, and Manny took care of me, making the appropriate repairs and an oil change as well as diagnostic to discuss what they found and recommended for the future. And in the end, they gave me a ride to Hertz to get a rental car, as I arrived near days end and the truck had to be kept overnight. It was done quickly the next day. I hope to be able to depend on Redhawks professionalism for years to come!

Came in to have my Spark plugs and ignition coil replaced and was quoted a time frame of completion of 3-4pm and they got it done before 12pm. Also was charged less than originally quoted. Comment: Great service. Dropped car off before they opened with an envelope (luckily I had one in my glove box) with my info and my key inside. Theres a mail slot in the door. It would be nice to have forms or envelopes provided by the company for after hours drop-off. Got my repair done in one day and communicated with me throughout the day on the satus and progress, so that was awesome. Called and arranged to pick up my car after hours since I was told by them that they close at 5 (even though its actually 5:30). I was told theyd lock my key and receipt in the car and I could use my spare key to pick it up since the repairs were covered by my extended warranty. However, when I went to pick it up just after 5:30, my car was locked inside the bay so I had no way of getting to it and everyone was gone by then. Not sure why the miscommunication happened. Other than the frustration of not having my car for work the next day, the service was great!

Comment: Fantastic team at Redhawk Automotive! I had my horn go out on my car. I thought whole horn needed to be replaced, ended up just being a lone blown fuse. Scott at Redhawk was honest, professional and complete. I also wanted to check status of my brakes and tires. They did a thorough checkup on my car. They took photos and included them in a diagnostic report which I found helpful. Ended up needed an oil change (I was overdue on mileage)and a cabin air (which was pretty dirty) filter replacement. Comment: Redhawk auto service is by far the best mechanic I’ve been to! Without an appointment Scott told me I might have to leave my truck until close (3 hours) but they would get it done. Within an hour Scott called me and said my front transfer case was leaking. They replaced the gasket in the transfer case, added the oil needed, did an oil change and changed my fuel filters. Comment: After driving 2,000 miles across the country from Wisconsin and arriving on a Thursday, we definitely know we had a problem to take care of Friday night before we could return home. Red Hawk took us in Saturday morning for a diagnostic and by 11:00 a.m. I had a problem identified, estimate in hand, and completion time to do the work. I gave them the green light to order the parts and do the work and my car was ready to go Tuesday afternoon, on time, as promised. I had no problems on the return trip. I cant say enough about the great service and courtesy from everyone I spoke with during a very trying 3-4 days, particularly Manny who oversaw my visit for the repairs. Comment: Replaced the radiator, 4 hoses, coolant, & thermostat.I brought my car in for a problem of over heating. It was detected to have a small leak in radiator & one of the radiator hoses. I dropped my car off at approx 8 am. And it was all done by & ready to go at 12:30. The management Sal & Manny were very polite & nice to me. They generously loaned me a car to use in town while waiting for my car. The parts were a little over $500. The labor charges were over $1,300. I questioned that high charge and Sal the manager gave me 3 generous courtesy certificates. Because he wanted me to be happy with his service! That attitude and proactive resolution has won me over. I followed the good reviews and I wasnt disappointed at all. I showed up at opening and they took me in right away. The whole team that took my assignment were attentive and transparent. Micheal even brought out the damaged part (spark plugs wires) for me to see and explain why my car wasnt working. I have an 02 Kia Rio so shes doing the best she can on small repairs that I can afford. Sal was great about breaking down prices for me in a priority type list. Ill be back to have more repairs done for sure. The labor prices may seem a bit high but its good to know that they care enough about their employees to pay them well. However, I would like a more detailed explanation on what was performed after paying. I always feel rushed when I’m asking critical questions. Also the invoice gives recommendations that don’t seem correct. It told me to change my windshield wiper blades when I actually did so the week prior. I also wanted to have my fluids checked and I didn’t see that on my paperwork. I’m just a gal who knows nada about cars so I feel I like to know more about what was serviced. I took my hybrid tahoe for a diagnostic for the hybrid battery and an oil leak. They sent me a link that had their findings and included pictures of what the issues were. It made me feel reassured. When i went to go pick up, Manuel was very straight forward about what exactly i needed and he didnt try to up-sell me. I also met the owners and they were phenomenal people! They worked on my AC heating and cooling issue and some engine light discrepancies on my 2008 Prius . They were able to fix all issues at a reasonable time and at a reasonable price.January 5, 2021 got a smog check and as always they are very polite and professional. They have a Smog Star rating so I never have to go anywhere else.

I went in to do an oil change, but when I was in the waiting room, waiting for my car, I would hear other customers come in and talk about their car problem and the guys at Redhawk would give them option of what can be done - either spend a whole bunch of money to fix the car that could work a couple of months or buy another car that can last years - sure they can fix it and charge the customer but they knew the reality and the condition of the car. The repair didnt work at first and instead of saying it was my van and giving up they kept working at it and got it right. This took a lot more work and expense on their end for which they gladly did wanting to make sure I was well taken care of. They are so great to work with. They listened and communicated with me so well. They gave me another car to use while mine was getting fixed. They do all they can to help you with your car issues. My only concern is that a few friends and the dealership said I spent too much money ($850) on a window motor repair and was going to charge me $180 for an oil change or $90 to “top it off”. That’s crazy. I took it next door to Walmart for $65 for an oil change.
