I needed to take my vehicle in to get my air conditioning looked at. When booking my first appointment on the phone, they were very fast and fit me in quickly but didnt ask any questions in regard to what was wrong with my vehicle. At that time, I made them aware I was looking for a quote for the repairs. I brought my car in later that week and they told me to leave it, and that I would be hearing from them in a couple hours. They called me promptly, but instead of calling me with a quote, they called to say they had done a recharge on my vehicle and it was available for pickup. I had not wanted a recharge as I had them previously with no success, however, I paid the fee and picked up my vehicle. As expected the recharge was run out by the next morning, and when I called back and tried to ask what they had done and what the plan was moving forward, the staff was not polite and told me to bring the vehicle in with no explanation as what they would be doing when I brought it in. I didnt schedule anything at that time, and instead called back to discuss that I was frustrated with the work that was done, the fact that they had done work on my car without discussing it with me first and the attitude of the staff when I was dissatisfied. I was given a refund for the recharge which was greatly appreciated, but the experience was less than wonderful.
Poor customer service. Bad experience. High prices.My cars power steering oil was leaking, so I brought it here. They said, I will call you with the pricing and tell you what is wrong with it. I will not start working on fixing it until I confirm with you. I left for college and after an hour or so, they call me and tell me it will take about $730 to fix power steering oil leak. Hearing that I called the dealership instead for a pricing and they would fix it for $400 for the same exact part and labor.The whole time, I was okay with it because I understand dealerships are experienced with my car so they are cheap. I got shocked after they told me there was a $57 fee for diagnosing my car. I was okay for the fact that there is a fee, but when I went there to pick up my car I asked them for a discount or a lower price.I said, is there way this price can be lowered? I guess there was a misunderstanding in one of the employees and me talking over the phone, so the older guy Ric or Rocky one of them, said, you know what, take back you card, and do me a favor, dont come back. We dont have time for your story and your problems.Hey man, all I asked for was a discount, didnt even demanded to have it, just ASKED IF THERE WAS A WAY I COULD PAY LESS MONEY.I GUESS IM A YOUNG MAN WHO WOULDNT KNOW A LOT ABOUT CARS SO ITS EASY TO THROW ME OUT.You just lost a regular customer who has brought 4 cars for services on a regular basis.
Ric and Rockeys is the best car care company Ive been to. You cant beat their prices. I bring my vehicle here for my full synthetic oil changes, they charge $35, anywhere else charges $60+. Brought my vehicle in without an appointment and asked if they were available, they said they were super busy but managed to get my car in anyways, in great timing. Great customer service, overall great business.
Today I took my car for an oil change because the date was past due. The guy at the counter took my car to the back. A few minutes later, he came out and asked me Do you know you still have 3000 miles before youre due?. Like most of us right now I hadnt been driving, but I thought if I was past the date it needed to be done. He told me the date is approximate and you have a year. Then, he offered to correct my oil change light and said hed bring my car out. It took a little longer than I expected and I guessed correctly that he had also checked on the other indicator light that was on for tire pressure. When he handed me my keys, he said my tire pressure was high and he fixed it. The other convenience oil place I called would have totally taken my money! It seriously felt like I had taken my car to a family member. No upsells, no trying to sell me magic oil, no scammy feeling. The guy just looked out for my best interest and did not take advantage of my lack of car knowledge.
I had my front tires got changed on my Nissan rogue at Discount tires. But after the tires got changed, the car was pulling to the left when I was driving. I talked to Chris over the phone and discussed the issue. I thought it was an alignment problem and asked him to fix the alignment but Chris suggested me that, he will swap the tires and the problem may be solved and he did. They test drove the car and said its not pulling anymore and charged me around $28. When I drove, it wasnt pulling to the left anymore. I appreciate his honesty. Chris was very professional and respectful. I will definitely take my car again for future needs. Thanks Chris.
Normally its fine I only go here for smart start. Today my camera wasnt working so it needed to be replaced. While doing the work they disconnected my car alarm and hooked up the new camera not knowing until I returned home to lock my vehicle I will be calling and have them reinstall my car alarm thank you Ric and Rockys
Brought my car here to get a hitch installed. I had previously bought one online and did part of the work however my tools did not allow me to finish the job correctly so I brought my car in to Ric & Rockys the next day. I did get some resistance and complaining because the way I started the job (per provided instructions from the hitch manufacturer) was not how they handle it usually. I can definitely understand this, but as a mechanic you should be able to adapt and find solutions. A simple hey you did this wrong, we will do it this way to fix it now would have sufficed. Minus one star for that, but I suppose it mightve been warranted from me already starting the job ahead of time. Other than that, the car was finished by the time I came back to the shop (under an hour). The job seemed solid at a fair price with professional front desk personalities. As far as my experience goes, I would recommend bringing your car to Ric & Rockys.
The only thing i go here for is the full synthetic oil change. Other than that they lied to me about the rotars on my car, and i know because I took it to the toyota dealer that I had bought it from less than a year ago, had them double check (for free) and they said they were perfect, all 4 rotars could last a lot longer and have no rust. Rick And Rockys tried to tell me I needed them all changed to new ones, a total cost of a grand.
I went here because the diagnostic fee was cheap (I was getting confirmation and estimate on a bad head gasket). My father had taken in the car to his shop because we needed a diagnosis.They play basically good cop, bad cop. One of the owners (I never caught which name was which), isnt fond of teenagers, or anyone who doesnt understand the inner workings of their car (which, for a shop, is 75% of the customers). I felt like he wanted to shuffle me out the door as quickly as possible and didnt even really seem to want to be there. The other owner(the older gentleman) is quite nice and I enjoyed talking with him.I left my car for a diagnosis at noon on a Monday. Tuesday, about 15 minutes from close, they inform me I cant take my car home that day because they had to remove my hood latch to open it (my hood has damage and shaking the hood left to right about 10 times will unlatch it like normal). I get my car back on Wednesday, two days later on a diagnosis of all things, not even a repair.What really got me going was the absurd quote. They knock up parts by about 4 times their worth (and, I understand that it is industry standard to grab profit, about 2.5 times their worth, on parts. You essentially buy a warranty on them). Head gasket set that would cost me $80 at OReillys is somehow $316. Specific torque bolts that cost $30 are somehow $116.I went same day to another independent shop that was willing to give me a more in depth idea as to way they needed to replace such and such parts at the same time, and theyre asking $1700 for the same service, same replacements. Ric and Rockys wanted $2200.Dont waste your time or money here. I felt like I was being taken advantage of because of a lack of knowledge and I felt incredibly unwelcome there, and Im certain you will too..
I got a car starter a few years ago and I wanted to get it moved to my other truck. I received 2 different prices(which is why they got a 4). I went in on the 3rd and talked to Ric. He was very nice and apologized many times for the confusion. Ric made sure that I didnt leave unhappy and took care of everything. the day of install he was there and made sure everything went great! if any future work I will return. thanks for the great service recieved.
BIGGEST SCAMMERS EVER!!!!! There was a few lights on my dash so I took my car in and they told me that my car needed a electric rack and pinion that would cost me $2200!! So I went and got a second opinion, and the other shop scanned the car right in front of me, and all my car needed was a speed sensor! Which was a $36 fix!!!! I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy!! Absolutely disgusting!
I always go to Ric & Rockys when I need work done on my car even if its an oil change and tire rotation. They are always so friendly in there and able to explain what is wrong in terms that I will understand. I trust that they are giving me the best price and not lying about what work needs to be done.
We bring all our vehicles in The Bittinger Team to Ric & Rockys. They do great work at reasonable prices. Better still they dont do unnecessary work like other shops I have experienced. They are honest, friendly, and easy to deal with and in my busy world that means a lot.
These guys are great. Coming from in from out of town, my cars exhaust went out and I got to enjoy a nice ringing sound in my ears from my new race car loud exhaust. I took my old beater in and they fixed it right up within a few hours. It sounds better than before and told my wife it doesnt even seem like the same car and is worth driving a little while longer. Thanks guys!
I took in my Saturn Aura on January 2, with a leaking water pump at 2:30 in the afternoon and was expecting that I would have to leave it overnight since it was so late in the day.And they had it finished by 5:30! They gave great service, without trying to upsell and at a reasonable price. Very professional and family oriented. Great Job!
Excellent pre-purchase used car inspection. The inspection was very thorough and all items were described in person in detail. They provided likely upcoming maintenance on the car, when it would likely be required, and approximate estimates for each item. Overall, they were friendly and happy to answer all questions. Very please and will be back.
I was driving and my front passenger tire exploded.pulled over in nearest parking lot and saw there was a tire place less than 100 yards away. So my son ran in and asked if anyone could help and within 10 min someone drove to me and replaced my tire. I followed him back to their shop and they checked all the tires and filled them. when I went to pay I met Ric. I asked how much I owed so grateful they were able to help and was astonished when he said no charge...Im glad we could help They just made a customer for life.
This was my amazing and great experience with Ric & Rocky’s. I have a 2013 Ford Escape car with antenna broken. I went to Ford dealer first. The dealer told me that they had to replace antenna base because they can’t remove the stud of antenna that still remained inside the base, which would cost me $800 to remove the base from the car inside, which blew my mind away. Then I tried Ric & Rocky’s, and I was given an estimate for $40 to remove the stud. At the end, they only charged me $25 to remove it, which shows how much they care about their customer. Now my car radio work perfectly!
Ric, Rocky, and Bernie have always been exceptionally communicative, patient, and explanatory with every issue and question I have brought to them. They have also consistently completed work on my vehicle on or before the time they quote me. I recommend Ric & Rockys to everyone who is looking for a reliable, honest, and transparent mechanic.
In July 2014, I had the rear windows tinted in a new car. I believe this location used to be Auto One Glass, but now appears to be Henderson. Either way, it seems to be part of Ric & Rockys. The tinting was done on a very hot day, and I think this is ideal for the tint film. Its now 2018 and it still looks fantastic. Ive been careful to not scratch it and to use cleaner specifically for tint film. When it was installed, I left the car outside baking in the hot sun as they told me this would help the film set and removal the super tiny bubbles you could see right after I picked it up. It worked like a charm and Im very impressed with the quality of the tint job. Hopefully I wont have any issues for the life of the car.
Since Im not a mechanic Its hard to find a mechanic I feel I can trust. Ric & Rockys went over best & worst case possibilities & assured they would work with me in case of worst case. Fortunately it was best case, vehicle is running better than ever & I feel confident recommending
Lost my favorite braclet under the front seat track stopped by Ric & Rockys 15 minutes before closing. Excellent customer service and they were able to take the seat out and recover the braclet within minutes. When I asked how much for the job they said it was on them! Good people, great business!
Long story short is I had a misfire on cylinder #3 on my 5.4L 3 valve engine. I actually tried to do repair myself and snapped the bolt off into the hole that the ignition coil goes into! So my coil was loose and seemed impossible to repair and truck was running rough firing on only 7 cylinders...They changed the spark plug on that cylinder and extracted the broken bolt out of the hole...and redrilled a new bolt! I was very impressed. Highly recommend...The more complex the issue the more I recommend as they seem to have highly competent and skilled mechanics.
As a new, first time customer, Ric (the proprietor) afforded me all the courtesies and professionalism as he would to his most loyal customers. Within a days notice, he had my 1992 Cadillac back on the road. Honest pricing. No surprises or upsells. Ric and Rockys possesses the highest integrity and soundest business practices. This shop is careless and unprofessional. They wasted my time and money. Because of their shoddy workmanship, they caused damage to my car. I had to go to a REAL auto repair shop so the new place could fix what Ric and Rocky couldnt. Save your money. If I could rate negative stars, I would.
I had them fix an electrical problem with my sons car. They had the car for a week which is fine because electrical issues are hard to diagnose. The day after we got the car back, it again wouldnt start. They then told us the battery was bad. After $1000 and one week to fix an electric problem they didnt know the battery was bad??? Sounds fishy to me. Also while they worked on it they put the door boot back on incorrectly. We had to pay them an additional $30 to have them put it back on correctly when they put it on wrong on the first place! I will never go back there. They have lost my trust.
Have known this family and used their auto repairs services for over a decade. I use them and my wife uses them. Always professional, always friendly, always willing to help with the little things (like giving me a ride home after I drop off my car.) Highly recommended!
Refused to install (new in box) customer parts, opting for their own marked up aftermarket parts. This policy may or may not matter to you.Chewed up my locking lug nuts somehow. They never asked me about the lug nut key, which was sitting in a bag in the back seat.Otherwise, fast service, and conducted themselves professionally.Will not return.
I have gone to Ric & Rockys and always had a wonderful experience. The personal attention is so appreciated! Ric has always taken the time to explain things to me so I can understand them, and never makes me feel silly or dumb for asking.Thanks Guys! I would recommend them to my grandmother....thats saying alot!
I think they are AWESOME! Big john and josh always fix my cars fast, affordable and right. I dont understand why people bad mouth them. I just think the happy people dont take the time to let people know just how good they are taken care of. If you dont like what you are told about your vehicle, just go somewhere else. Usually the people eho arent happy, arent happy anywhere they go. If you maintain your car from the begining, it wont cost you as much for occasional repairs. Keep up the good work rick and rockys
RIC AND ROCKY’S IS THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR! THEY ARE VERY HONEST AND HELPFUL! LAST WEEK I CALLED TO SCHEDULE SOME REPAIRS. ROCKY ASKED SOME QUESTIONS THEN RECOMMENDED THAT I TAKE IT TO THE DEALER FIRST TO SEE IF IT IS UNDER WARRANTY. HE SAID IF IT WASN’T, HE COULD DEFINITELY GET THE JOB DONE AND SAVE ME SOME MONEY! IT TURNED OUT TO BE UNDER WARRANTY AND IT WAS COVERED! ROCKY’S HONESTY SAVED ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF OR TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO RIC AND ROCKY’S! YOU WON’T BE SORRY!!!
After having previously giving a 3 star review, I decided to go back there for service to give it another chance, and realized that we all have a bad day sometimes. The are very professional and I would recommend them to friends and family.They are a family owned business and I definitely felt appreciated. Thx fellas.

2022-05-18I have been using Ric & Rockys for years and always received great service.This past weekend we celebrated the marriage of my daughter and now son-in-law. It was a very beautiful day but like anything else we had several stressful moments prior to the wedding. One of these stressful moments was a flat tire that happened at rehearsal dinner Thursday evening. Friday morning I called all the local tire places and none of them could help me. I decided to call Ric & Rockys and so happy I did!. I started to explain the situation and before I could finish the story they told me they would absolutely help me out and asked me how soon I could get to the shop.I arrived at the shop 15 minuets later, they greeted me at the door, took my keys, fixed my tire, put my jack and spare away and had me back on the road within 30 minutes and did it all for free!!!! They told me not to worry about it and enjoy the wedding. This is what I call GREAT customer service and this is why I will continue to use Ric & Rockys for all my auto repairs!!!!!Thank You Ric & Rockys!!!MaryBeth

2021-03-27Heard they did good work years back and finally figured I’d give them a try. Work was done fairly quick however when the cost came I was a bit shocked. Nonetheless i just paid no issues. Looking at my invoice I was charged 145 dollars for a 54 dollar part. Other parts and labor cost didn’t add up as well. In a nutshell I’ll never return to that business nor steer anyone in that direction.

2020-01-27I recently took my vehicle in to Ric & Rockys Family Car Care to diagnose an issue I was having with my power steering. They were able to quickly identify the problem and have everything fixed within a day of having my vehicle. The quality of service was exceptional, from the actual work done to speaking with them over the phone. They clearly explained the issue and walked me through what was wrong and how they fixed it. Their service was above and beyond what I expected, thank you!

2021-01-18They were friendly, and VERY quick! I was 20 minutes early for my appointment, and ended up done and pulling out before my appointment time. Also didnt even have to get out of my car, which is nice during the crazy covid times. Will definitely go back!
