Well my story may be a little different from most but here it is. I have been recommended by many of my close friends to purchase a car from Trevor. I was in need of a car so I gave him a shot. I looked at several cars from the lot and found exactly what I needed and wanted. Not only did he get me a great deal on a 2019 Ford, being that I live in Tampa, Florida. Once everything was finalized, Trevor drove 20 hours from Michigan to Tampa Florida to hand deliver my new car! Customer service was out of this world. The whole process was as simple as it can get. Congratulations Trevor for earning a lifetime customer.
Awesome service..we had an issue driving up north with a new GMC truck we bought 5 days ago..200 miles and the service emissions light came on while we were driving out of town..the staff was SO accomodating on a Friday night, (Joe)waiting for us to get into town to put it on the machine and figure out what was wrong with it. The dealership service dept. is usually not open on Saturdays, but the service guy (Dave) came in early at 8am to fix our truck so we could drive home safely. Would recommend this dealership to everyone. Thanks so much! We appreciated it more then you know!
Richardson was a wonderful place to get my car from. From the time I walked in the door they were so friendly and helpful. Chrystian and Corey were amazing to work with, they got me the car I wanted at the price I could afford. I would recommend Richardson to anybody on their customer service skills alone.

This was the BEST vehicle buying experience i have ever had!!! Perfect communication and easy to deal with. Rick is the absolute best. After being in an accident a week ago, the last thing I wanted to worry about was dealing with buying a new car. I spoke to Chris West and within hours I was sitting at his desk signing papers for a car that fit my extensive want list AND my budget. Just leased a new 2021 Silverado. My salesperson, Peggy Gratton called me three days ago to see if I wanted to trade in my 2019 Equinox early (January) I said yes, she found me a truck with everything I wanted, except a CD player but thats an inside joke with Peggy (wink, wink). Went up there today and drove off in my beautiful new truck and I couldnt be happier!! Peggy and Corey Roy are the best. Thank you for everything. GREAT SERVICE. I was working with Trevor at the gladwin location and he did everything he could to advise me to do the best thing for my situation. I was out of town and in a pinch. He helped coordinate with their other locations to find me the best solution to my problem. I was able to get home with his outstanding help and service. Truly appreciative! Ive had, having issues with the check engine light, but the dealership , especially Greg, the service manager, has been awesome in trying to rectify the problem, its a GM issue not a dealership issue, they have even come out to the house to pick it up ( twice now). Everyone in the dealership is helpful and friendly. Love the dealership and the staff, the truck not so much right now. The sales staff,Corey and Jason, were very helpful during the purchase process.
First visit and extremely pleased with service dept. From check in at service adviser, to parts counter and cashier, quick, friendly and trustworthy service. Just replaced a headlight but no hassles and car delivered to me in just over an hour. Im very relieved to have a dealer/service center in Gladwin I can rely on since we lost Otto Buick our last service provider.
Absolutely horrible service. I had scheduled a service appointment to bleed brakes and do an allignment two weeks in advance for 10 am on Tuesday. I dropped the vehicle off at 9:30 am just so it was there already. At 2 pm, I called to see what the progress was on a 3 hour job to be informed that it was still sitting outside and that now the allignment rack was broke. So at 5 pm when I get the call that it is finally half done Im shocked when the bill is $50 more than what I was told originally. Apparently a brake flush does not include new fluid. Would never recommend taking a vehicle here unless it is warranty work or you like spending boat loads of money for horrible service.
When this was Graffs my wife and I have purchased several new and previously owned vehicles, had maintenance and repairs performed without any negative experiences . Things have changed .I have a nice truck , I keep it very well maintained .On 9/25/20 repairs were finished at Richardsons for noise in my front end that caused chopping of my front tires . All that was needed was new wheel Bearing units that have their own studs .I bought new tires when they became available due to the Covid thing and went back in for balancing and alignment of the front end on 12/3/20 , Alignment and balancing Price was just under $120.00 .Then It started with needing new lugnuts , then new studs , then rear brakes and continued to escalate , things like new parking brake pads for $400.00 that I declined , it continued to grow to well over $1,100.00 by 12/4/20 without anything being done on the front end other than the lugnuts being replaced .12/5/20 I had had enough , more work needed before an alignment could be done , an additional estimate over $1,300.00 that included replacing a radiator hose .I recall the service person saying to another associate that he makes more money for the service department than anyone else on that day I came in for the alignment , now I know why .I will add that the Receptionist that I talked to on 12/5/20 was very helpful and understanding , she is by far the best example of treating a customer as we expect to be treated .
Can not give any stars today. Today is the first time we have had to use the service department..took our car in for a two hour service at nine it is now almost 3:30 and still not done.So as now I am not very happy come back later for how many stars I will give. I do believe the quality of the service dept is what makes a dealership great or awful
Best Ive ever experienced in all the years weve been buying cars!!! I would recommend them to everyone. We got fair trade in and they worked within OUR budget... Weve been looking for a while and the other dealerships we went to set their price and wouldnt budge! Every single person on the floor made us feel welcome as well . Just a very GOOD experience! 😀
From my initial look at a few cars on the lot to test driving a couple that I was interested in to picking out my vehicle, the service at Richardsons was excellent. Then the Richardsons staff REALLY showed me how great they were! Our family had had two accidents within 3 weeks (one hit-and-run with my husbands truck and a high-speed deer accident with my Equinox). The truck was still in their body shop when the Equinox was damaged. We quickly discovered our insurance was totaling out the Equinox and the truck was getting repairs completed at about the same time. Richardsons had given us a very clean, well-maintained loaner while the truck was being repaired. But that left us down to one vehicle until our insurance paid out on the totaled Equinox. Rather than forcing us into the expense and aggravation of renting a car, the staff at Richardsons let us take the newer Equinox for an extended test drive until we got everything situated with the insurance and financing. The finalization of our purchase of our 2016 Equinox was efficient and professional; no pushing of extended warranties or extras we didnt want/need, just straightforward, considerate purchasing paperwork in easy-to-understand terms. At the end of my purchase, Chris set up my On Star, my Sirius XM and demonstrated how different features on my vehicle worked. He really went above and beyond to make sure I knew my way around my new vehicle. I left the Richardsons lot with a full tank of gas as well. Overall, the Richardsons staff made what began as a very stressful experience (2 car accidents within weeks, a totaled-out vehicle and limited ways to get to/from work, etc) into a 5-star buying experience with excellent communication and service. I plan on visiting Richardsons for any vehicle services we will need (their oil changes are thorough, reasonably priced and timely) and any future purchases. I highly recommend Richardson Chevrolet as well as their partner dealership in Standish for purchasing and service. If youre in the market to replace your current vehicle or get repairs done, the Richardsons team makes sure youre taken care of and satisfied.
Service leaves a lot to be desired! Trying to schedule an oil change, for my son, with Richardson Chevrolet was a trying experience. When I called, the phone was answered quickly and professionally. I asked for service/oil change and was transferred. It took three phone calls and seven transfers before I could speak with someone in service. They didnt actually answer their phone though, they walked up to the main area where the phones were being answered and transferred! I asked my questions about hours, prices and the service included, all of which were answered from a knowledgeable service person. I share all of the information with my son, and between he and I we try to get something set up for service. Each of us were dissuaded several times about days we wanted to come. That day will be too busy, that is too late (1.5 hours before closing), the wait will be too long at that time of day, etc. Finally, I just sent my son there to wait it out. Same issue when he got there, there is at least an hour wait and another 45 minutes for the work, sure you dont want to come back another day? He sets up the service, leaves the car, the service person tells him they will call when done with the car. He leaves the dealership to explore Gladwin until the car is finished. After 2.5 hours, he returns to the dealership and sees the car in the roughly the same spot he left it. When he inquires about it he was told that it was already done, and had been for a bit. When he asked why he wasnt called, he was brushed off as if he was not important or his time wasnt valuable. When I tried to call the service department back, the call was not answered by the service department either time and was routed back to the receptionist. Just not good service.
The service department manager Greg Ortwein runs the service department like a well oiledmachine! Everyone there is professional and very helpful. They will go out of their way to correctly do the service. They take pride in their work and the customer service is excellent. I will not go anywhere else for my service needs. On a different note the parts department has fast and reliable service. If they dont have the parts in stock they will get it in usually the next day. If you want great service with excellent customer service then this is the place for you. By the ay ay cant forget the sales department their staff will treat you like a loved family member and will take care of your wants and needs.
I would like to take a moment and thank Corey J. Roy. First I would like to elaborate on Corey’s personal appearance. He was nice, polite and strait forward. Most importantly Corey was honest and real when it came to my concerns. Second Corey was willing to joke, laugh and be funny. When people like Corey sell me something I am more likely to buy it due to the fact that he makes me feel welcomed.Corey!Keep up the good work and sale on my man!
I recommend this place because of the people. I was on my way across the state to participate in a coast to coast cycling event. I stopped to get gas in Gladwin and the starter failed. Time was scarce and I needed a solution. I called down to Richardsons on a whim. They hooked me up with a 2019 malibu loner to get me to Au Gres! Truck was taken care of and finished the next day. Even though I haven’t yet to meet them in person, the entire staff that I’ve talk to you so far over the phone seem very friendly and helpful. The only problem I have is trying to email them. My computer says their email is formatted wrong and will not let me send it out. I’m getting email right off of the Google maps. I have him pack it in letter by letter digit by digit to make sure I haven’t put it in wrong. So if anybody has a suggestion or knows the right way I’m open to read it. Thank you ahead of time
I purchased a Grand Cherokee from them last September and it was a great experience. I had service yesterday and they were very accommodating. I was pleased with the prompt service and they fixed my problem while I waited. They are very honest and polite. I would definitely purchase my next vechile from them..

2022-05-12I purchased a new Dodge Charger from Trevor at Richardson and very happy with the purchase. Trevor was great to work with went out of his way to make sure I could take the vehicle home that day. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they had the Charger at the Standish location and it took a very long time for them to get the paperwork transferred over from the Standish location. This is my second vehicle purchase from Richardson and I will definitely be a repeat customer

2022-06-23Having been in the market and ready to buy a vehicle for about 4 weeks, I visited many dealerships and met a ton of sales people. I happened to stop by Richardson on my way back to the Detroit area from the UP. I found the perfect truck but beyond this, the sales staff were the best I’ve worked with. Dealing with Corey and Trevor was enjoyable and they exceeded my expectations. Truly, shout out to them both for not playing the annoying sales game I’ve experienced at all other dealerships!

Jake and his crew worked so hard to pull off a complete sale on a Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm! I can’t say enough positive things about Richardson in Gladwin. 2022-03-15I ordered a new 2022 Mega Cab 3500 from Jake. Him and Trevor kept me updated along the way. Every time the truck moved on to the next step of production or shipping Jake texted me to let me know. Truck came as expected. Corey the finance manager was excellent to work with too. I got to meet most of the crew at the dealership. The GM and Sales manager are great guys as well. I would highly recommend giving Jake a call if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. I can see this kid going places in this industry. Totally future manager material!

2022-04-14Got a flat on my Silverado Trail Boss so stopped in to talk to them about replacing with the tire warranty. Glad I bought it. They didnt have them in stock but were helpful in understanding what we needed to do and even double checked the torque on the full size spare.
