We paid $20 each for 9 holes with a cart. They gave us a cart without a roof on it. It was nearly 90 degrees outside with the sun beating down. Teeing off was impossible because it was like teeing off in thick rough. The fairways were like the rough. The greens were like the fairways. We lost at least 10 balls after 9 holes, some of them in the fairway. The yardage on the signs were inconsistent with what was on the scorecard. It was like playing in a random field. Went here a few years ago and I dont remember it being this bad. Maybe new ownership. But overall a terrible experience. Wouldnt even go back if I were paid $40 to play 9 holes here.
Lynn is the owner and cook. Her food is great. She takes pride in what she serves. She is a great lady. Very interesting too talk with.
What can I say. They have quite possibly the best breakfast in the county. The food to cost ratio is excellent. The food is great and the staff is very nice and attentive. And its a Golf course. This is my go to course in the area. Best course for the money.
I was in Michigan for 2 weeks in September 12. I went here twice - both times for their All-You-Can-Eat Whitefish dinners. The decor is less than simple - a small bar at one end, basic salad bar, tables and chairs - thats it. Nothing fancy, but with their food, they dont need anything else. While the salad bar could really use some improvement, the whitefish was.. to put it simply - Superb. Lightly battered, mildly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The beer is some of the coldest in town. The staff, while obviously overworked, took good care of each guest and with a smile. The only flaw I observed was on my 2nd visit - it seemed that the kitchen exhaust fans were inoperative and the cooking odors were pretty thick inside. I WILL be going back to this place on my next trip to Cheboygan!
Fun Mom & Pop course. Great staff.Its not Augusta, but its a fun course to go out and have a few pops with your buddies.
Fun straight away course, with fun clubhouse atmosphere! Mike the super is a great guy along with the rest of the staff over there. Stop in for a fun day of golf, food, and drink!
Nice folks. Ok course. Low priced golf. I will play again for sure. Dont expect manicured greens and lush fairways but its nice enough for the price.

2021-11-17I am a worker here of this fine place and once I started working here I finally got to try Linns food. All I have to say is that she is one of the best cooks I know! Her food is so good. My family now goes there when we do out. Linn(the owner) is the nicest person, she treats her staff very very well. The prices here are awesome for the food. I absolutely adore this place, and I let everyone know about this place, its awesome service, and above delicious food. If I could give this place over 5 stars, I would.

2020-10-30Nice lady that runs the place, but theres not much else I can say nice about the kitchen unfortunately. I didnt get sick though and the chicken sandwiches are pretty tasty. So hey, be brave. Life is a risk, right?

2021-04-21Nicest folks around. It’s not Augusta, but greens fees are inexpensive and it’s a fun course. I’ve had to “argue” with her to allow me to pay for 2 rounds instead of just one when I play 36.

2018-06-24Went there last night for the 1st time....loved it! Three of us had prime rib and three of us had the whitefish....all was awesome, some of the best prime rib we have ever tried....fish was great too....the owner and wait staff were awesome, very friendly. We will be going back. We cant wait to try their polish dishes...
