Great music tonight from the AH parks and rec. The park has great fresh features and room for everyone to enjoy the events.
Such a nice and well maintained community park thats very inviting. The river is clean and shallow and great for wading and kids playing.
One of my favorite parks of all time. Always clean, restroom available, bbq grills, and now that I have a kid I noticed how nice the playground is.

Kayak launch could use a shuttle service. VERY swift current, not for beginners, not for solo. Nice park, well groomed, landscaped and taken care of.
This park is a very nice place for a picnic, to enjoy the river and chill. Well maintained, parking can be challenging.
Its a quiet little park with plenty of scenery though nestled in Auburn Hills downtown. Recently renovated so theres much better parking and walking. The shallow Clinton River is playground to ducks, geese, the occasional crane, and human fishermen, too. For the younger humans, the playground is nice. This park is well appreciated by local folk and commuters alike.
One of the best parks for trout fishing in metro detroit! Beautiful nature and peaceful experience is right here. Family and pet friendly environment that supports well being.
A beautiful park with a playground and a newly added fountain area kids can run through. It feels like theres always something being constructed or tore down, but it usually isnt too much of a distraction.
Really fun for kids! Had an end of the school year picnic there and it was so fun! Enough space to run around and a fun water play fountain. The only thing I would change is that the bathroom is very far from the play area and picnic shelter area.
My kids had a wonderful experience. The only thing that I would suggest is to have a place such as a kiosk machine where I can make a purchase for the kids to play at the waterpark with my credit card. Other than that everything was wonderful. The kids had a great time. And I love being upgrades.
The playground is nice and my son loves all the slides. The water is good to I just discovered the place a couple weeks ago bought a couple trout lures n I went fishing as well I seen other guys catching a bunch last time I was there I only caught one but it fell off hook when pulling it out of water. The nature there is fantastic as well and the patio is a great place to sit and chill. The summer festival was a blast my son had an awesome time he even talked to a police officer and he gave him a police badge sticker, my son was so happy even when he changed his shirt he wanted his badge on it. The food is all very good taste great and all the kid volunteers are friendly and cheerful. I would reccomend it to anyone.
Lovely park! It was a beautiful day to check this park out. My family and I headed over to Quickly Boba Tea then walked to this park (a quick 3-4 min walk). The splash was closed and so were the larger pavilions, but there were still plenty of picnic tables to eat our lunch at. The park has the clinton river running through it and wasnt too crowded. The park was clean and overall it was a great park to just relax at.
Very nice green space in downtown. Lovely river, plenty of beaches and a popular playground.

Very nice park in downtown Auburn Hills. Took my dog to walk and play for a while. Theres also a playground and picnic area and the river runs right next to the park.
Great place to take kids for nature and the playground. They like to talk to the other kids. Everybody is nice and distant.
First time at Hilltop and I will certainly go back. The beers were really good, the atmosphere was vibrant and the food was good, but not great.

I love it here. The equipment is nice and a little different than what you see usually at parks-balance type play, swings for kids of all ages, fun sun catchers. The view of the river is lovely. Definitely a nice place for a mommy and me picnic.
This is such a fun place next to the river. Summer is fun with live music at the amphitheatre. Great place for a stroll or a picnic.
Concert in the park Fridays , peaceful ,some graffiti in places , otherwise well kept.
Nice little concert venue. You can bring alcohol to the amphitheater area. And chairs.
The new splash pad is alright..with all the little ones and dogs playing in the water they tend to get real close to the stairs..I would have not made it so close but im not the designer lol. We ended up going down to the river to let the kids play like we did when their parents were little. Nice place to play.
My best ever for everything, but I wish to have a chess table for everyone, that will make the park a kind of heaven really.

Beautiful place for a small walk. The flow of water is pleasing to the eye. There are benches for sitting and play area for kids. Bikes, fishing allowed.

Great place for a summer car show. Had a chance for a second visit for the Woodstock event. Loved both of them.
It is a small park near downtown Auburn Hills. This park has a nice updated amphitheater with teared seating either on the edge or bring a chair. Some nice features of the park, currently it has paintings featured from Detroit Institute of Arts, as well as music playing in the speakers throughout the day near the walkway along the street. There is a nice pavilion for large gatherings, a well maintained play area and walking paths along the river.
The park was beautiful and my kids had a great time!

Perfect place for a family outing. Our kids played in the river while we waited for the splash pad to turn on. The Scenery was Absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. The playground was great for all ages.
Beautiful and serene place to come and enjoy the sound of gushing river. It is a small Park so not suitable for jogging and other activities. Has a small playground for kids to play around.

Beautiful place to relax, the only downside is how much glass is in the river. Breaks my heart that people would be so careless and irresponsible. Twice a week my significant other and I would go down with three grocery bags wade and pick up glass....we filled them everytime. Itd be a blessing to see others chip in and ensure the safety of our communitys feetsies! Ill attach one 2 minute pass through the water, mind you we snagged 3 bags on multiple occasions. Get it together people, this is unacceptable!!!!
We usually hang out at this park and walk to quickly bubble tea around the corner.

Beautiful parkFollow the trails. Pause on the bridge to take in the sights and sounds of the Clinton River below. Let the little ones play on the play area with different activities. Stop by the beautiful covered picnic area that can be reserved. Admire the large fireplace inside . Get in a game of hoops, or just be a spectator. Plenty of parking.
We always have a gteat time. Love it there .easy access. Enjoy the ducks. And also enjoyed a wedding just 75 feet away. Met my granddaughters friends there. See you soon!

A lovely spot with a view of the stream! Splash pad for kids. Pavilion with picnic tables and other picnic tables scattered around. Bathrooms. Nice to see the park has a ramp for good accessibility. I was glad to find the additional parking as the lot on Auburn is tiny.

Very nice little park! I take my lab here to swim all the time in the little beachy area and she loves it. There is also a newly updated jungle gym and a new splash pad for kids. I dont have any kids but the kids always look like they are having fun lol there is also a large Pavillion and lots of room to bring chairs and sit, overall I would definitely recommend this park to everyone!
I stay near AH Downtown.Its an everyday ritual for me and my hubby to visit this park during the evening hours. This park indeed embarks a positive energy in mind and body. With mesmemerizing river path,we sometimes take our hammock, create little bbq picnic without any hassle.It has a very nice play area for kids.And the open air theater of the park adds spark to my Fridays with beautiful live band performances.The summer in this park has been such a blessing after a traumatizing year of 2020.It is so clean & well maintained.
Its a beautiful park, kid friendly, dog friendly, great entertainment on Fridays. It could use more parking. Wait a minute. What am I doing? Trying to attract more visitors? Noooo. Never mind. Stay home. Oh well, Ill see you there. Dont be late.
This park has a very nice atmosphere and is very clean. Unfortunately there is a very limited amount of swings. 1 child swing that is plastic with a harness, one normal bigger kid swing, 1 dual swing for a kid or adult/baby infant swing and 1 infant swing. Overall a good place to take your kids.
This small amphitheater is excellent for small get together and celebrations. Have seen schools participate in it. Good parking facility nearby.There is a river flowing nearby with ducks in them, fun to watch them.We have a good time every time we go there, though we visit very rarely.
A great place to bring the kids have a picnic, or just walk around and enjoy the river. Great music events held here for free during the summer. Playground and water play area in the summer.
One of Auburn Hills best parks. Located right on the river. Its a place you can loose your self and gather your thoughts and escape this crazy world.
Riverside is a nice park right on the Clinton River in downtown Auburn Hills. Has a nice pavilion Nad play structure for the kids. Very clean. Wont disappoint.

Took my dogs for a walk here. Its a little small for walking them, but they still enjoyed it. The river adds nice ambiance, and there were plenty of ducks too. Saw a couple of people fishing. Very clean park and has dedicated parking.
Its a nice place to talk a walk, have lunch, sit by the river. Small jungle gym and swing area an close to downtown. The have music and events every now and again. Nice place.
Beautiful Park with good people here! Great place to spend day with family and do a lil trout fishing 🎣. Good clean restrooms here too a plus! Parking lot fills up quickly!
This was a pleasure to visit. Upgraded with a splash pad and expanded picnic areas. Playground too.Bad part? Parking was very tight. Limited parking. When the stores across the street opens up this will be better.

We recently stumble upon this park and we enjoyed hanging there. We found some ducks by the river and my kids ended up taking their shoes off to get into the clear and shallow water. It is a pretty park, a really peaceful place, it also has a playground, we deflinetly are coming back soon.
Great park! It is getting more updates every year and kept very nice. The river goes through the park where you can launch kayaks and canoes.

This is a small park and it has a refreshing and uplifting feeling. The Clinton River runs through it and there are picnic tables and shade trees throughout. There is a clean bathroom building by the entrance. This park is just a cute place.
Such a nice park! It was pretty clean and I love the river running through it! The only downside is if you are not a resident or Auburn Hills you have to pay $3 for kids to use the splash pad, which is super small and not worth $3. Its is pretty ridiculous, especially since there is a river the kids can play in for free right next to it.
It was our first time there on July 5th 2019 very beautiful oh, quiet, peaceful, relaxing and so much more than that.

Absolutely beautiful! Clean and well cared for. Very unique landscaping. Romantic setting with lots of benches. The creek running through it adds to the ambiance! Superior park!
Park has a lot of potential, but needs some work near the water (landscaping or docks). See people fishing in the river quite often and lots of people getting use of the park. Park is quite small and has a lot of amenities which makes it feel more cramped at busier times.The biggest downside and the main reason for a lower review is there is trash visible in the river and on the ground every time we visit.
Nice family park. I went to see a play in their ampitheater. Families were grilling. Excellent community space. We need more like this.
This park features a bend in the Clinton River thats great for wading, swimming, and putting in kayaks in season. On the other side of the park, theres a playground and new splash pad open free to the public. The park can be navigated by a paved party that circles around, great for biking or roller blading. There are wheelchair/stroller accessible paths, and a shelter with picnic tables. Also new is an amphitheater where they feature music on certain days in summer.
It has a very good view of the River. It is very well maintained. The police take advantage of the bathroom facilities somewhat often so it feels safe. Very good place to take your kids to. I believe you are allowed to fish as well.
Great area for family and animals, I went here to come through the river and collect rocks, not a good area for that.

Amazing park!! Tons of space for activities, very family friendly! They have a pavilion, splash pad, play structure with 4 slides, and much more!! A river with walk in access, a bathroom building, and so much more for a fun day with anyone!
Great new park. Water area is sizable, not too crowded. Play equipment is great. plenty of room to set up in the grass. And plenty of shade. Super walk able to downtown AH if you need food/drinks.

I was invited to this park by a friend. Even though it was relatively small, I thought it was very nice. My kids had a lot of fun on the large play area. They also really enjoyed looking at the ducks in the river

My grandparents used to take me to this park. I now at 25 take my 6 year old son there and it’s still a very nice park. We love walking in the shallow part of the river. And all the work there doing to the park is going to be amazing!
Nice place close to downtown Auburn Hills. Since the last time we visited this place, an amphitheater and splash park have been added and has a nice new look.
I absolutely love this park. Its gorgeous, spacious, I love that people can fish here and kids can play in the water and the playground is nice as well. I love the walking trail and the open field. There isnt one thing about this park I dont enjoy.

We get a carryout at the Family Table Cafe which is just around the corner. Then on to the park. Clinton River runs through it & there are always ducks there. So fun to watch them.

Riverside Park was a great experience: the park is clean and beautiful from every direction you cast your eyes. I enjoyed the visit; I wish all parks gave you the experience I got when I attended Riverside for my first time!

I love the wooden bridge over the rushing and clear Clinton River and the trails through many woods and meadows. There is a covered picnic area with restrooms and a nice playscape for children. Its near downtown Auburn Hills and has free parking. Basketball court and skate park are nearby

Nice little park to take your kids out to the playground in downtown auburn hills. Clinton river runs through it so you can also fish during the season. Very clean park and across the street are subway, liquor store, and some other few stores. Its dog friendly but your dog would have to be on a leash and also pick up after your dog.
My favorite park. I love the new set up. Its so relaxing. We can fish and play in The water. We dont have to drive all the way to Detroit for our kids to play with the water jets that shoot up from The ground

Recently completely remodeled. New amphitheatre, playground and pavilion. Lots of paved paths great for dog walking. The river is great and swimmable.
There is a nice playground. It is also a great place to walk your dog if she doesnt like to break free and go for a swim in the fast moving river. I learned that the hard way ☹️.

Nice place for a quick walk. The sounds of the river are soothing. Restrooms on site are clean and stocked. Even a splash pad and jungle gym for the kids. Cold drinks across the street and sandwiches at a close store.

We have always loved this park, but quite frankly are extremely disappointed in the upgrades. The Splash Park or pad looks very lame and uninviting. The new seating for the amphitheater looks like patrons will be sitting with the sun in their face. Poor designing. Plus there are cement steps adjacent to the splash pad which just looks like a danger waiting to happen. Underwhelmed.
You cant swim in the river, but there are sometimes mallard ducks here that you or the kids would love to see. The playground is a really nice one, too!
Summerfest 2019 was very good. Live music was entertaining on the first day. Lot of fun and activities for kids in summerfest. Riverside park by itself is also also very good. Nice place to spend sometime with friends and family.
Great little park near downtown Auburn Hills. There is a small creek that runs through which you can wade in or even fish. They recently added a splash pad and amphitheater which will allow for more summer events.
Nice little park! Great place for a walk or a picnic... beautiful views of the Clinton River, has a playground for the little ones and a shelter for larger gatherings. Clean restrooms (for a public park) also.
I think it was ok but if u want to swim just be careful of the big rock and sometimes there is glass in the river so be careful. Also i recommend to bring some Water sandals or something to wear on ur feet so u cant hurt ur self
Enjoyed walking thru the park. Nice area. 2 parking lots, 1 is pretty small. Plenty of parking in the downtown area. Kids area, picnic tables and benches. Dogs are welcome. Pick up bags available.

Cute little park in Auburn hills. Relatively quiet during the day. They have bathrooms. Within walking distance of ice cream places. Playground looks fun. Lots of ducks but the stayed in the river.
Beautiful downtown park perfectly located a block and a half from the Twist N Dip ice cream. Benches to sit at with the family as well as grills to cook on. Oddly enough the mosquitos werent to bad either.
I love this park. We come almost every day. The atmosphere is just great. We love watching people walking there dogs & very family oriented.

This park has great potential, however, there is a lot of construction and redecorating going on there. 😢 I love the creek, and the different sounds the water makes. I wish I had been warned that this Park is under Major construction😕..
Saw a concert at the Knight Amphitheatre. The City of Aubutn Hills has concerts here every Friday during the summer. They have concessions you can purchase or you van bring your own picnic. Dont forget your law chair and they even have a dance floor and splash pad. Restroom facilities are clean and tidy. Its apparent that the City of AH takes good care of its public spaces.
Smaller park near stream and downtown Auburn Hills. Great place to bike to, and nice swings jungle gym. Not many benches for sitting, and can get bit crowded in summer.
This park is very convenient, the tent is big could fit more than 20 people. Calm and safe. Restrooms are very clean. Just love it

Its just a small park, great for young children on a hot summers day, good chances for photo ops too, the scenery is really pretty there.
Kids can play in the river. Lawn is lush. Gazebo to reserve. Picnic tables and a few barbeques grills. Easy parking. Near pizza delivery.
Auburn Hills keeps up their parks well. This one is very nice by the river and they have free concerts in the summer. They have real issues with their WiFi though, has not worked the last few times I tried it.

Very nice little gem of a park almost hidden away in Auburn. Has covered eating areas for shade, a river for swimming, an amphitheatre, and a tiny stream with a tiny waterfall.
Great park, nice new playground, pavillion and stage amphitheater, right on the river great park. Free Music on Sat nights and Movies on Fri (certain nights).

Nice park !The park seems small at the first sight but its a pleasant place for a Sunday afternoon. Some tables for a birthday party and the little stream on the side, its prefect !
New update to park make it a nice touch. Water/splash pad is nice but I wouldnt recommend wood chips near the splash pad to avoid maintenance headaches.
Had a meeting in the pavillion. Very quiet, relaxing outdoor location. Amenities are available to park, cook, walk, or relax if youd like.
They have completely redone the front part of the park to include an ampitheatre and splash pad. It has lovely trails and a wonderful river.
Nice Amphitheater with park
A great place to bring the family, hold outside parties in the pavilion, and you can even bring your pets (as long as they are on a leash, AND you clean up any messes they make!). This is a GREAT place for Pokémon hunting, as it has a Poké gym, and 3 Poké towers, 2 of the Poké towers and the Poké gym are accessible right from the two parking lots (the one tower near the parking lot off of Auburn Rd, and the other tower and the Poké gym at the parking lot off of Squirrel Rd!)!
I just so happen to spot the park and we decided to check it out and wow its amazing , you can BBQ, sit by the lake and bring the kids theres swings ,slides lots of coverage in case of Rain....
Awesome park right on the river. Lots to do there. Grills, picnic tables, and playground are all there to enjoy. As well as a paved walkway.
One of my favorite local parks theyre adding some fun stuff in the future! Just adjacent to downtown Auburn Hills, makes it a good spot for a picnic. Just wish other people pick up their garbage.

2022-06-26Nice quiet place to take a walk alone and meditate or take the children to play on the playground or watch the ducks swim in the stream, lately they have been having summer festivals and concerts on the weekends. Next weekend they will be having a event for children

2022-06-23Best spot to enjoy the Clinton River in Auburn Hills, not to mention has a decent splash pad. Walk along a wide open stretch of the river with spots for the kids to enjoy wading or even swimming, curves around half the park. Rough on parking some days but all in all a great local resource!

2021-07-11PLAY STRUCTURE: perfect for big and little kids. Newer style structure with multiple slides and add-on structures. Spacious on and around structure.SMALL SWING SET. HAS secure seating g for older child with special needs, baby seating but only one regular swing 🤷♀️. Kids waited and waited wanting to swing but no chance.Bathroom facility with electricity.Nice walking paths, bbq grills,, views of river, picnic seating and plenty of space for groups.DISLIKES:1) THE WOOD CHIPS AROUND STRUCTURE.most parks now use up upcycled tire pieces that dont harm little feet.2) small swing set.

2022-06-25Riverside Park....a beautiful park in downtown Auburn Hills. The Clinton River is the boundary for the north side of the park. Childrens play scapes and water works are new additions to the park and make the park perfect for families. There is a covered Pavillion with picnic tables for parties, and other gatherings. Must be reserved to guarantee availability.The Wright Amphitheater with stadium seating is great for the Friday evening summer entertainment. Food, beverages, ice cream is available a very short walk from the park on the main street, Auburn Road. Bikers and walkers also love this park!

2022-06-26Summerfest! What fun. Plenty of free parking. Lots of security/police around. Fun area set up for the kids. Small marker set up on Auburn. A great experience!
