Nice atmosphere, clean environment, and friendly staff. Great quality gel manicures - pedicure - my manicures typically always last 2+ weeks and still look fresh. Highly recommend.
Me and my family used to go here all the time to get our gel nails done. Definitely not after this time, a week after i got my nails done they started changing colors and she had made my nails crooked and all the materials they were using was not sanitary at all, nothing was cleaned after they finished someones nails, they would use the same supplies for the next costumer. They are also very rude and talk bad about you. And told me they would not redo my nails because i used hair dye or something to make them turn this color. Which i dont do anything i just got out of high school so i dont work. My sister is a cosmetologist and said gel should never turn like that, and it never has out of all the years ive got them done. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE ROCHESTER HILLS LOCATION.
The most unprofessional, rude and arrogant management I have ever dealt with. I would give zero stars if I could.Update after response from owner: As you can tell, management has absolutely no customer service skills. Please read their response to their mistakes. All of the review was 100% true, management is trying to defend their poor actions and justify their terrible service. Please stay away from this terrible service who have no respect for their paying customers. Absolutely no lies were told, owners just cant swallow their pride and own up to their mistakes. I only leave google reviews when absolutely necessary, and in this case, it was much needed. SHAME ON YOU ROCHESTER HILLS NAIL AND SPA!Second Update: This service continues to lie - I have gotten acrylics here multiple times, as well as pedicures. I have been a customer for years. Get better management, I just continues to get worse and worse with each response as you try to defend terrible service.
My nails turned out decent. But the staff is not the nicest. Legit I was asked 3 questions. Shape, length and pick my color. The other tech who did my “design” was mad I didn’t have a photo…I just wanted 3 little hearts that matched the color of my nails. And well they don’t go with my color. And technically this isn’t the color I chose…there’s no glitter effect to it at all..definitely won’t be going back…for a first time customer communication is key to have them come back, just a suggestion as I see the owner reply’s to these comments in a not so nice manner.As per her response. I pointed to the color of the polish, definitely had the glitter on the sample. So who’s fault is that. As for me not speaking up? You didn’t make me feel like I could with the way your attitude was. As for a last moment appointment? Ever heard of the word no? I emailed at 6pm, your the one who said 7pm okay? So I took it. That’s on you. Your response to my review shows how rude you are when you get called out on stuff. Absolutely will never be back, and will never recommend ANYONE to go here. Unless they feel like they wanted to be treated rudly.
If i could give zero stars i would. got my nails done, within 2 hours one broke. when i called and ask to get it fixed the owner rudely told me it was my fault and she heard my nail tech tell me to be careful because they were thin, which i didn’t specifically ask for. they were booked so i had to wait 3 days and within that period 6 of the 10 were broken from doing simple tasks such as itching my head, petting my dog, opening the fridge, etc. every time i moved one broke. i went in to cancel my appointment and instead ask for a refund where the owner scolded me in front of all the customers telling me it was my fault, called me stupid and a liar and refused to acknowledge i was given a bad service. i wouldn’t leave until somewhat satisfied so she gave me $50 after a 30 minute debate (paid $65 plus a $20 tip). at the end she told me to leave and never step foot in there again (not that i ever would after dealing with her). it was appalling how unprofessional this experience was.
I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and got a dip manicure with extensions and a design. The man who did my nails was super friendly and I loved how they turned out! *Photo taken 2.5 weeks after visit!
It was a terrible experience at Rochester Nails and spa. It was a complete waste a time and money. Completely rude service and the job was very poorly done. My nails were falling off within minutes of leaving. I would suggest finding any other nail place in town because they would be better then this place.
My friend got her nails done here and they sucked! All of them broke out and the manager yelled at her and doesn’t even have the creativity to respond to each review individually. Instead they copy and paste the same one every time. Do better. This is sick and i’m horrified.
THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL nail salon. The owner called an unsatisfied client “stupid” in front of the whole salon. Shoddy workmanship. Six - yes 6- broken acrylic nails in 48 hours! Giving 1 ⭐️ Is very generous.
This place was pretty great! The experience was nice. They were also really fast! I got a mani pedi with acrylics in about an hour and half. The only reason I am leaving 4 out of 5 stars is because the guy that did my acrylics didn’t match up my acrylics finger sizes with each hand. There fore my left hand is beautiful and perfect and my right hands nails are much larger and chunky, especially my middle finger. Other than that they did a great job!
I had an absolutely amazing experience at this salon. I highly recommend. My nails were done by Mia and she did an absolutely AMAZING job. My nails have never looked better. I wanted a rose quartz design on my nails with shellac. She did exactly that and my nails look exactly like the inspiration picture. Absolutely beautiful! I could tell that she was passionate about her work for sure! Definitely coming back!!
I love this place!! I have been with the salon since it opened, I followed the owner when she opened the shop. It is clean, and relaxing. My nails look spectacular when I leave!! If I ever want to change something ( like shape of nail) they are willing to accommodate even mid appointment. They are very professional have a huge variety of polish colors and options. Other salons I have been at I would have nail repairs several times a month. At this salon I have not had one broken or nail repair since I start going over a year ago! Great place.Oh and beware of one star ratings, if you notice the are usually short and have minimal specifics which makes me believe they are unreasonable, and have no value!!!
My mother, sisters, and I have been long time customers of Mia, the new owner! We recently followed her from the spa that she was at to where she currently is and we could not be happier. The salon is bigger, techs are super friendly, and you can tell that she is putting her heart and soul into that place. Saw her today for my annual holiday Mani and she knocked it out of the park again. My daughter even commented today before our appointment that she couldn’t wait to go to Mia’s new place since it is so much bigger and just awesome! Do not hesitate to call and ask for any tech, they all do marvelous work!!!!
I will never be returning to this store and recommend that no one else does either. I am profoundly upset with lack of professionalism that the management displayed with an unsatisfied customer after losing 6 nails over the span of two days. Stay as far away as possible!
One of my favorite nail places. Its pretty busy nowadays (which is great!), so I suggest calling ahead for an appointment. My nails always last the longest whenever I get them done here.
This salon is excellent, got my nails done by Sue or Linn and got 4 different neon colors, as I can hardly ever decide upon just one! They did an awesome job, spent over an hour on my shellac manicure but, it also set me back $48 and my nails started to split or break then chip, after only about 10 days so was disappointed 🙁.
Love this salon! I followed Mia here when she bought it earlier this year and I wont go any where else! Everyone there is super friendly and does a great job! On the rare chance I have any issues with early chipping, they will fix it right away, no questions asked.
I would suggest going elsewhere. Made an appointment and waited a long time. Nail techs are rude when you ask questions. I ended up leaving and going to a different salon.

Rochester Hills Nail and Spa is the best quality manicure and pedicure I have experienced. The owner Mia takes great care of your nails and is meticulously detailed. I’ve recommended her nail salon to my friends and family, and they all love it too! I would highly recommend it if you are looking for high quality nails that last weeks for a considerably low price.

I stopped in 5/23 for a mani/pedi, gel polish on my fingernails and regular polish on toes. My tech spoke broken English and wore a face mask, which made it even more difficult to understand her questions. My gel polish chipped on 2 nails today (both of my middle fingers--coincidence?) which is only 6 days later and the shine is nearly gone on all. I can peel the remaining gel off, no soaking needed which means it was either a lousy product to start with or the product has been altered since it appeared it was applied properly. I wore gloves while working in my yard and doing dishes the last 6 days, so I took care of them. 2 of my toenails had chipped polish 3 days later. Avoid this $60 rip off. Yelp has the poor reviews on this place, I shouldve checked it before Google.
This place has caused me so many problems. Every time I come here my nails fall off and the polish always chips off. Horrible service as well
I was told while taking appointment the cost for pedicure is 33$ and Menicure acrylic is 45$.I was charged 98$ total , it way more to balance.It was 7:30 already when my manicure service started closing time and in hurry my nail sizes are not filed even and didnt like the service for the amount I paid.
Really friendly, clean, and quality work. Well priced, shellac manicures are $33. I usually go with a couple friends maybe every other month and they always remember us and make us feel very welcome.

Tony is the absolutely friendliest nail tech I have ever met. And on top of that, his professionalism and skill with nail shape and color with acrylic is out of this world... Cardi B should be getting her nails done here - theyre THAT good. This business is unrivaled and I will be coming here for the rest of my life.

First time here! My friend and I actually walked-in for a Mani & Pedi. The lady who helped us in the beginning, which I’m pretty sure was the manager/owner, was able to get someone to do our Mani & Pedi in a short amount of time even though business was picking up. Next time I will for sure make an appointment— they actually prefer appointments too. The environment is quiet and staff seemed intimidating in the beginning but they’re all kind! Michelle is so sweet and great at what she does! A Mani & Pedi with regular nail polish was super affordable too. Definitely coming back! (:
Ive had consistently beautiful nails everytime that Ive come here. Mias designs are intricate and well worth the price. Shes truly amazing and goes above and beyond my expectations each time.
I have brought my daughter here before and they did an OK job. But the second time was terrible the nail tech did not listen, aswell as installed the nails crooked and was blaming my daughter for having to short of nails even though the nail tech was the one who cut them too short. The nail tech also could not follow the image that was provided even though they said they could do it. I was very disappointed with Rochester Hills Nails & Spa. Being in the customer service industry if there is an issue with a service that you provided you as an owner, manager, or employee should try to correct the problem and be polite about it. I understand standing up for your employees but to have blinders on when there is an issue is not how you operate a successful business. I hope if you use Rochester Hills Nail & Spa they do a great job for you and you are 100% satisfied with the service they provide. Unfortunately we were not and will not be returning.
I’ve been a long time customer at Rochester Hills nails and spa. They have always been very accommodating and excelled in every service I’ve gotten there. When I came in for my acrylic fill in with shellac, Lynn did a fantastic job and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. Very positive, bright attitude with all of her clients. She is a perfectionist and I admire that most. Highly recommend her overall.
My new favorite nail salon! These ladies are incredibly talented. I tested them out a few weeks ago, for a set of acrylics, and SO glad I did. Not only did they exceed my expectations with my acrylics (first visit), they removed them completely painlessly (second visit - also, I hate having acrylics removed, ptsd from previous salons lol). Mia is a magician with design and was able to bring my nail-visions to life to a T, both times.
I just moved to Michigan from Chicago area. I have tried multiple salons and just couldn’t find one similar to the one I went to back home. FINALLY I found this salon and read all the amazing reviews about Lynn. I couldn’t be happier with how my appointment went, she took her time, and was extremely professional. The salon also offered lots of colors for dip manicures! Thank you Lynn! I now have a new salon :)
I have been going to this location for a little over a year now. Today I went for the usual dip manicure and I saw a new face. All the workers are great overall but this one particular is a new employee named Lynn. Her professionalism and work was more than expected and she really is amazing. What a great addition to their team. I usually call and dont request anyone particular but believe I will be requesting for Lynn from here on out!
This place is extremely clean and professional. I absolutely love this nail salon! Apparently, so does everyone else so I would definitely recommend making an appointment over walking in. Ive been numerous times now for a pedicure and manicure shellac, each time I get the same great experience. They start by asking if youd like water or tea or coffee, then I get to enjoy the nice massage pedicure chair and great service. Their pedicure and shellac mani always lasted for the longest Ive never had from any other nail salons. Highly recommended!

Beautiful salon ! I made My appointment ahead of time and i was seen right on time, almost no waiting . They had so many color choices for polished , and it was organized so well that I didn’t feel like overwhelming . The nail tech was professional and friendly , she did a great job on my nails and even took time to grab a white base because she said it would make my color pop more . The service itself was amazing, the salon is nice and clean. Highly recommend!
I went in for a pedicure... I was wearing a dress but I wore shorts underneath knowing I would be getting a pedicure. The owner comes over and throws a towel over my legs to cover me up. Doesn’t ask if I would like one but throws it over me. It’s 90 degrees out and also I’m an adult, I don’t need to be covered up like a child. If you are uncomfortable with women’s bodies, change professions.
Super great place and employees are very friendly. Lee did my nails and they were absolutely amazing!! I wasn’t sure what color i wanted and she was so nice about helping me choose And even painted some colors on a nail and wiped it off a few times. I’ll definitely be going back soon! Also super clean and professional place.
Best nail salon in Oakland County! I have been seeing Mia for almost a decade now and drive an hour just to get my nails done by her. Sally is amazing too! Extremely clean, great prices, never wait, and longest lasting dip/polish I have ever gotten.
As a man I was a little nervous having my nails worked on for the first time. As soon as I walked in I felt very welcomed by all the sweet employees and their warm personalities. My worries melted right away. My hands have never looked so good and my feet look and feel better than they have in my whole life. Ive been back many times since and every time I am blown away by the amazing job they do. If youre a guy looking to get a MANicure and pedicure, I HIGHLY recommend this place. We were running a little behind for our appointment but they didnt make us feel rushed or anything- which is a huge change from many salons Ive been in. The young gentleman who did my nails did a fantastic job and was very patient in explaining the difference between some options for what I wanted done with my nails. Today was my first time coming to “Rochester Hills Nails & Spa”, as I am a new resident of Rochester Hills. OMG, this place is absolutely incredible! I’ve had my fair share of good mani/pedi’s but this place is a whole another level of amazing. For starters it’s very clean inside, followed by pleasant customer service and the nail service is some sort of wonderful. I’ve never had someone take so much time and care on my nails regardless of the number of people waiting. I had the BEST most relaxing pedicure. I am very big on reviews as I know how much this can make or break a persons decision on where to go.Thank you for such wonderful service, your hard work and dedication to your customers doesn’t go unnoticed.I don’t think I’ll ever go to another nail spa again...

I was a first time customer. I was impressed by the salon and excited to try something new. The nail tech did a great job although half way through, one of the workers (im assuming a manager) brought her small dog in. The dog was greeting customers and PEED on my purse. The dog owner quickly grabbed my purse and washed it with soap and water. Luckily my purse wasn’t anything fancy but I was still upset about the situation. She didn’t even say sorry or offer me any type of compensation for my trouble. Sucks this was my first experience. I was highly disappointed when I left.

My go to nail salon when I am in Michigan. The remodeling has brightened up the place & all services are done professionally. Also important, it is clean & well maintained. All nail techs do a great job. Full selection of polish types & colors are available
Went into get a Mani pedi and the guy doing my pedicure cut my toenails completely uneven - My big toe was a diagonal slant. I asked him to fix it by it was already so messed up that I left with it Short and weird and slanted. After he ‘finished’ my pedicure I noticed there was still visible dry skin and calluses on my feet. I asked him to fix it, which he did and lots of dry skin was coming off still. The nail polish is chunky like a little kid did it. I left immediately without tipping, which I never do because I worked in the service industry for many years. Canceled my manicure and feel even annoyed that I had to pay $30 to literally mess up my feet they looked better when I came in. I usually look up reviews but I just went in on a whim. please save your money and Go literally anywhere else

I got same service at other place in Rochester it was 38$I have attached the transaction from my bank she charged me 65$ and I haven’t got any other service. I came here for the first time yesterday night. When i showed lynn the picture of the nails i wanted. Not only did she do them perfectly she made them way more beautiful then expected. She was so welcoming and answered all my question i had. Im defently coming back to her amd the rest of the girls there. Thank you so much for my nails. ❤

Menu prices are not the same as in real life. They will tack on an additional $10 for the covid 19 PPE they claim... so a fill in the past was $25 now its $38! Doesnt say it on the menu but a heads up for people... unfortunately nails are no longer in my budget due to cost increase at the salon

Pedicure was aweful. My feet are still rough and some of my toe nails were not fully painted. Also, the man was using his long dirty finger nail to remove his mistakes on the edges of each nail. They did not put any lotion or cuticle oil my feet. One more thing that really bugs me is when the same person does do the whole job especially when the other person doesnt do good work.

2021-12-07I went in yesterday to get my nails done at m my friends recommendation. I scheduled an appointment same day easily. Very happy with the wonderful service I received from my nail tech, she was amazing! Took time to chat with me while ensuring my nails looked fantastic. Very reasonable price, especially compared to Detroit where I normally get my nails done. Will be returning!

2022-02-20This was beyond disappointing. Idk the name of the woman who did my manicure, but what terrible results. This is the first time in my life that I did not leave a tip. The manicure didn’t include a hand massage and she did not have me wash my hands after she filed my nails (barely filed, mind you) the nails were not shaped or buffed properly and she just started painting the base coat with the nail file shavings still on my nail. Absolutely the worst manicure I’ve ever received, I wish I would have spoken up when I was there. I’m not usually one to leave rough reviews unless I think it’s truly necessary….this is unacceptable to charge someone for. I could’ve slapped some dollar store paint on my nails at home and had it look better. The fact that this passes as a manicure is pathetic.

2022-02-17I’ve been to this nail salon a few times before and never had any problems. Last time I was there I had my nails done by the tall lady there and she accidentally cut my finger twice. She was careless and seemed like she was in a hurry. Didn’t initially apologize for cutting me, then when she saw that the cut was pretty bad, she said she’d give me a $10 discount and said sorry. I was going on vacation the next day so I wanted my nails done right, not get a discount and a botched nails. She also changed my nail color without telling me because she thought the other shade would work better. All the nails were different thickness and many of them crooked so I asked her to fix the crooked ones so she started to make them even worse so I asked her if I can try. So she said “oh you do better” and gave me the nail file and left. So I got two cuts and basically fixed my own nails. When I was checking out, they asked if I had venmo and told me to put down ‘dinner’ on the comment section. Overall bad experience. I do not recommend getting nails done by the tall lady.

2021-12-09Came in from out of town, and they got me in within the day! Rochester Hills Nail and Spa lived up to the good reviews, and the owner was so sweet and did a fantastic job on my nails. I am a regular when it comes to dip powder, and I highly recommend this salon!

2021-12-11I made an appointment here to have gel removed. I normally would not leave a bad review, but the man was so abrasive with my already brittle nails he actually nicked me above my pinky nail and at the nail bed on my ring finger. As you can see by the pictures my nails look pretty battered. This isnt my regular nail place, so I hadnt planned on returning. Unfortunately, I felt obligated to share my experience as a caution to others.......................In response to owner:I was not expecting my nails to turn out perfect. I merely did not want to be assaulted by an emry board.

The nail tech finished her nails and the Design of the nails did not turn out the way she wanted them to and asked nicely for the nail tech to fix them. After going back and fourth with the nail tech she finally did fix them. The manager of the Business then came out and blamed my girlfriend for making the nail techs next client wait. Definitely would not recommend this nail place to anyone.

Just terrible.Update in response to the owner: Do better. Defending your unreasonable actions and claiming that a paying client was lying? Inexcusable and unprofessional. With management and customer service like yours, Rochester Hills Nail and Spa deserves every single bad review.

2022-04-21Today was my first time there . Dropped in for a regular manicure. The lady did a good job. It was quicker than I thought but am happy with my end results. Will be going there again.
