These guys were prompt and quick to to fix my flat tire and get me going in about an hour. Their promise time was 1.5 hours.Unlike Discount Tire (Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills) who was saying he is too busy until 8 pm today and Belle Tire (Rochester Road, Rochester Hills) was asking me to drop the vehicle off or he can give me an appointment for this Thursday to fix the flat...?

Everyone always has a fear when it comes to auto repairs and the cost, necessity of the repair, etc. This place eliminates all of that. Ive always felt like I was being told the straight story for repairs that needed to be done pronto, and those that could wait a few more months. Same with tire purchases. As if providing friendly, quality service wasnt enough, they are also somewhat saints. My son is a younger adult with special needs. He has a pretty expensive 3-wheeled bike that we bought for him many years ago. Its kind of a complicated bike as those things go. One of the sprocket wheels completely fractured (he rides it a ton) and the only fix would be a specialty weld. After trying a few places and getting turned down, Cory and his people said they would give it a try. One of their tech-guys did an amazing job on the weld. When we went to pick it up - no charge! Dont take your auto repairs or buy tires anywhere else, youre wasting your time - and money.
Best tire service I witnessed. I brought my friend here and these guys were excellent. Total customer service focusedSeveral employees were helping others with the same amount of great customer service so I was duly impressed. They took care of my friends tire and we were done in a very short amount of time. These guys truly communicate and get things done right. Next time I will be taking my tire business here. Very refreshing. Covid rules with masks enforced. The store inside was very clean, orderly and just a very good all around experience. My friend did call ahead and made an appointment so they do take calls and actually Remember appointments!
Cory who is the owner / manager of RH Tire knows what customer service is all about, and clearly realizes that is the key to retaining customers and gaining new ones. I have had a lot of work done on a truck (2001 Excursion) that has been quite troublesome in terms of identifying the problem(s) and getting them fixed. In addition, I am a very picky customer and Cory never loses patience with me - nor do the mechanics working on my truck.I cant recommend these folks enough - they will absolutely go above and beyond to make you happy and make sure your vehicle is safe and repaired properly.
A construction bolt went into the tire of our brand new Yukon Denali. Rochester Hills Tire & Service had a new tire in stock, but after removing the bolt, they were able to patch the tire within 30 minutes and refused to accept any payment. Make this your go-to service center: professional, fast, courteous!

I want to compliment this franchise at this location for having honest and knowledgeable hard working management and workers. My brother recommended them so I had bought two Micheline tires from Amazon 6 months ago, I did not realize they were a size bigger than OEM and did not think that my AWD BMW will suffer if those were installed. First, the manager helped me unload the tires and then he and a technician told me of the detriment to the all wheel drive axles & antilock brakes. We truly miss the genuine mechanics with a conscience and ethics these days.They respond to phone calls, first come first serve policy, work with customer to resolve problem & give a written quote, with reasonable pricing; I highly recommend this location and will not use any other in the future
I went in here shopping around for tires and rims for my Jeep. I gave them a general idea of what I was looking for and not only was the staff super helpful and knowledgeable, but they had my tires and rims ready and installed THE NEXT DAY. I went to several shops before this and was told it’d be weeks for the product to even come in. Cory and his staff are truly next level. After coming here, I don’t think I’d trust anyone else. They earned a customer for life.

I have been bringing all of our cars here for over 30 years. Theres a great team here - smart and friendly front desk staff, great mechanics, and a fine owner who has been in the community for as long as weve been coming here. Theyve turned me away a couple times when I *thought* I needed service, but really didnt! Thats honesty. In the rare instance when a repair is not completed perfectly theyll make it right - every time.
My mother stopped in for a burned out headlight. Kip had a technician change the light bulb and had her on her way! She was raving about how friendly and helpful he was and what excellent service she received.

Let me just start off with saying that I usually work on my own car to save some money and because Ive seen some really shoddy work by mechanic friends and mechanics my friends know. Ive also heard some fantastic BS from mechanics when Ive taken my car to shops before. Needless to say, I know my car pretty well and have done a lot of work on it over the years. Long story short on this place, these guys are incredible and the price is very good! Everyone from the front desk to the mechanics is very knowledgeable and competent in their craft. Even better, theyre priced really reasonably and not pushy! While waiting for my car, I overheard a conversation that some of the mechanics have been working here for 15+ years. Seriously, stop looking for another shop and just go to these guys. You wont be dissapointed. Okay, heres my experience:I replaced a front control arm and went in for a front end alignment only since I already had a 4 wheel alignment done by Belle Tire within the last year (or so I thought). The first time I went in, I was told I needed a wheel bearing and I was prepared to fend them off my back. Instead Corey, who heard my story of replacing the front control arm myself, simply asked do you think you can get that done? instead of pushing me to replace it with them. So at that point, I was intrigued and had decided I would definitely be going back to them after I replaced the wheel bearing. Now Im almost wishing I did have them do the work just to support these guys.The second time I went in, Kip informed me that I actually needed a 4 wheel alignment and explained the reasoning well. With all the problems Ive had with Belle Tire over the years, I was not surprised that all wheels needed to be aligned and went through with it. The spec sheet showed that indeed, Belle Tire royally screwed up the rear. I wouldve never known this had these guys not checked.Pleased with their service, I told them about an idling issue I couldnt quite figure out. One of their mechanics, Dylan (or perhaps his name is spelled Dillan), looked at my car and talked with me. I told him about the things I noticed about my car and had tried replacing. For once, I actually felt like I was being heard and respected for the knowledge I have about my car rather than being talked down to. It kind of felt like talking with a mechanic friend who was trying to help his friend out. No BS, just solving the problem. Dylan told me how much itd cost to look at it and try to fix the problem (it was very reasonable by the way). I agreed, and he got to work. Dylan noticed legitimate issues that I didnt notice about my cars idling problems, showed, me and walked me through my options. He tried working with what was on my car, warning me that it might not fix the problem but was willing to do it, rather than pushing to sell me something else. My car isnt perfect which is no fault of Dylans by any means since he was trying to bend a pipe back to its original shape which is very difficult to do, but it is significantly better. If I decide to replace the pipe, these are the guys Im coming back to.I seriously cannot recommend Rochester Hills Tire & Service enough! I might bring more stuff to them simply for the service, knowledge, expertise, and competency at a reasonable price! Good shops and mechanics are hard to come by but this is a really good one!
They get 5 stars because this thing does not go to 10. Otherwise it would be 10 stars.The owner is kind caring individual who never tries to up sell you. He gives his best every time.The mechanics are great guys as well. They do not make feel like a fool when asking questions. You can say shimmy or shake or some other weird descriptive noise and they take in stride....and do the work.Great work guys. Keep it up!

This place is the best. The staff is super nice and friendly. Initially i took my car to get tires replaced. Later i went to get my rear brakes taken care of. They go by first come first serve and within few hours my car was ready to go. And they are in a convenient location. Makes life easy. Thank you

Alignment nightmare. Drove in with perfect camber, plenty of adjustment on alignment cams both ways. Drove out with maxed out adjustment in control arms and one wheel at the top of camber range, one out of range. I’m sure all that positive camber will wear my brand new tires nicely. Man at the counter didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. Quoted time of 1.5 hours was more like 3.5. Best part I was charged extra from the original quoted price and my upper control arms bolts are rounded off. Thanks guys! Great waste of 100 bucks!
A was in a bit of a pinch because both my front tire and the spare had gone flat. I contacted Rochester Tire and Service on a Sunday and Corey answered the phone. Although Sundays are not their typical hours of operation, Corey was willing to go the extra mile and help me out. Im grateful to this company and what they have done for me. The service was friendly, fast, and professional. Plan on doing more business with this company in the future.
EXTREMELY friendly service. Fast, and efficient effort every single time. Other tire places take appointments and that always makes the waiting way longer than necessary. Here, there are no appointments. They just service you as soon as a bay opens up. The waiting area is fairly small, and Ive never seen it full of people. I work for UHaul just up the road, and we take our trailer tires here all the time to get changed out. Even taking my own car here they offered me a cheaper price to replace my flat because the replacement tire I brought was well-worn. Definitely recommend this place for a extremely reasonable price.
I wouldnt go anywhere else for tires, rims, rotating, balancing, wipers, headlights, or any other kind of automotive items or services that they offer. They are the best all around in terms of service, price, reliability, honesty, integrity & overall quality. I would highly recommend everyone take their business there if you have the option. With such high praise, I also want to specifically mention that I am in no way personally connected to, or affiliated with the business. I have just been going there for years and have had nothing but too quality service every single time.

My car broke down in Rochester and got towed here. They staff was very helpful and made sure I understood what was wrong with my car. They gave me the best deal possible and made sure I was happy with it before going thru with fixing it. They got it fixed within 2 days of bringing it to them when they were extremely backed up. I was very happy with my experience and would recommend anyone I know to them!
Fix what I didnt need fixed, and didnt fix what needed fixing. Last winter, I hit a Michigan pothole near this establishment/ near my home. I did not hesitate to take it there, because I trusted them.They gave me a price to fix the pothole damage, and doubled that to replace the front struts. The front struts were old, and it was just a matter of weeks or months before I would have to do it anyway. Besides, I like to reward good suppliers.Not a week later, the tire/wheel they fixed was destroyed. It got shredded because it was out of air in a matter of minutes in a difficult area to pull over. I called This establishment, and they could not back away fast enough from backing there work. We dont actually know what happened. There could of been other contributors, and the real message they sent Your loyalty means nothing. I am not a big believer in coincidence, so....I went to Belle Tire, and had the tire and wheel replaced. For some strange reason, I did not get another problem with that tire again.They may be real honest when you come in the door, but if you come back because of a problem with their work, your wasting your time.
I have a bunch of teenage drivers, so that means a lot of cars to maintain. Rochester Hills Tire & Service is great as proven by how they treat my boys when I send them to the store for service. Got four tires and an alignment today on one of the kids cars. Always patient and polite, and their prices are competitive too.
I came here because of my low pressure light. The store was busy, which is understandable considering the potholes as the winter continues. I was told the wait time was 2 hours to have my tires inspected. Again, understandable. The person working the front desk said a temporary alternative would be to add air to my tires, which would only take a few minutes. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Great customer service. Thanks!

I had a major break issue back in 2012, brought my car here and was extremely impressed with the service. Ive been coming ever since and even referred my parents. Today I came in after a 12 hour shift at the hospital and was in and out in 30 minutes with a good price on a new tire. You have my business for as long as Im in Michigan!

Yesterday my car died on me while I was driving on my way to work. I had my car towed here and they were phenomenal. They couldnt find an issue but tested my car and drove it around all day to make sure it wouldnt act up again on me. Because they didnt actually fix anything they didnt charge me at all despite having done labor and tests on it all day. They also filled my gas tank back up a little more than it was when I dropped it off. This place is phenomenal and will have my business for life!

Was in the neighborhood, so I came in today to get some routine maintenance that was recommended by a competitor. Cory got some info from me, took a quick look under my hood, and determined that I didnt need the maintenance yet, and told me when I should come back. NEVER have been I turned away before by a mechanic before. Cory earned my trust in that instant, and I look forward to giving him my business moving forward. Go talk to Cory - hes not going to sell you stuff you dont need.
These guys are an institution in Rochester! They do great work, stand behind their repairs, offer very competitive pricing, and always put the customer first. Finding a great place to take your car is like finding a great doctor or day care. Once youve found one, you never feel uncomfortable again. You wont be disappointed. After stopping by Belle Tire on a Saturday afternoon to get my tire fixed after driving over a nasty pothole and them telling me I wouldnt get my car back until Monday, I called Rochester Hills Tire & Service. They said no problem, bring it in. Dropped it off and an hour later it was done! Quick and friendly service. Would highly recommend and wont be going any where else for tire service from now on.
Would highly recommend. I have brought our cars in for a few years and they always impress me. Very trustworthy and do all they can to help save you money. We recently brought our Van in for an alignment and the mechanic named john communicated with my wife while I was out. He was extreamly curtiouse and explained things to her in great detail. She complained about minor issues like the doors sticking in the cold, and the rear wiper not making contact with the window. These were issues that the car was not brought in for that I planned to address. John took it apon himself to remedy these issues and did not charge us. I couldnt believe it. Im not saying they will or should give away service but in this instance he helped us out. The work that we brought the car in for was fully taken care of at a great price and in a timely manner. Again I can not say enough good about them. And if the owner happens to read this your whole staff is awesome but the way john went out of his way to help us this last time and the way he took time to explain things to my wife where she understood everything was just great, please give that guy a raise.

Took our 2015 Buick Enclave with Service StabiliTrak light on. A nearby dealership diagnosed and fixed the issue several times and ended up with the same warning a few hours after driving out of the dealership. It was scary to drive the car as it would down shift abruptly. At Rochester Hills Tires & Service, they fixed the problem and test drove the car (even filled up gas after running out of it) for several days to make sure that the problem was fixed before handing it over to us! We cannot thank them enough!
Cant recommend this place enough. The front of my car was involved in a fender bender and so the bumper was detached and a plastic sheet from the bottom was hanging off such that driving on the highway when windy would make it sound pretty terrifying. Took my car in and they re-attached the plastic sheet and pushed the bumper back on for NO CHARGE! They told me I should, at some point, get the bumper re-attached (the clips were gone so it could come un-attached again) by taking the car to an actual Nissan shop as they would have the exact parts, which was also good to know. Overall, quick, friendly staff, and very reasonable (didnt charge me anything!) Would definitely come here again.

Great experience with the help of Mark Lantzy! My Grand Cherokee had a small leak in one of the tires and they were able to patch it so quick near closing time!! Will be back for a new set of tires in a couple months!
The manager here is a gem! I watched him run between the the phone, the customer station and the SHOP FLOOR on a constant basis and neglected NONE of them! He must have body doubles, eight arms or both. He does things out of concern for the customer without the customer asking. I would recommend highly for honesty, integrity and old fashioned customer service.
These guys do a great job explaining what they can, and work as best they can. I wish appointments could be set up, but despite not being able to schedule ahead, I would highly recommend this place!
Never have actually been to this shop but still would rate it a five star. I had a chance to meet the owner and talk about an A+ character. If your in the area and need a tire or your vehicle worked on stop by Rochester Tire. This company will hand down take care of any your needs.
Have been going to this repair shop for about 4 years. Recently had them do the 100,000 preventative maintenance on a vehicle, including a wheel bearing. Fast forward about 6 months and there was a noise so I took the car to them to check it out....turned out to be the wheel bearing. This is where their exceptional customer service comes to light: John took the car from me and got me home, that afternoon I called to get a status on the vehicle and John told me that they stand behind their work and would be repairing it for free. No other song and dance to get more money from me, just We apologize and come get your car. They have my continuing business. Highly recommend these folks.

I have a 1997 Ford F350 dually 7.3 diesel. Ordered tires for it and went to have them put on and after I already left they called and told me that they received the wrong tires and cant do the job. So I scheduled a time a couple days later tonhave this done and I asked them if they could do my oil change and change my fuel filter at the same time since it was in the air and would save me 30mins of work this weekend. Keep in mind I supplied all the parts. I was told no problem. Oil change would cost 20/dollars and a few more for the fuel filter. Again keep in mind I already had all the parts. The fuel filter on this truck is literally on the top of the engine and its a matter of unscrewing the old one and screwing the new one on no loger than a 3 minute job. They charged me 50 dollars to do that 3 minute job, and they also charged me 25 dollars for the labor of the oil change. Needless to say I was mad about this and they will no longer receive my business and will not recommend them to anyone. Literally 50 dollars for a 3 minute job and they charged me 5 more dollars tham what I was told for my oil change. To top it all off they didnt give me back my extra 2quarts of new oil left over so there gos another 10 dollars wasted.
Just called them looking for a tire and other places where very snippy and dismissed me . This place on the other hand was very nice and walked me through everything I needed to know. Guys name was Kip ! He was great !
Called to set up an appointment to fix my car, they said that its first come first serve. So I arrived only to be asked if I have an appointment and that it would be a couple days to look at my car because they are backed up and wouldnt put me in the lineup. They turned me away probably because I dont have the Rochester I look like I live in a mansion look.
REALLY DISSAPOINTING! Its 10:30pm. We drove 30 miles to pick my car up after hours and the battery is dead! Thanks for replacing the belt. How about next time you make sure the car is operational before calling to say its ready for pick up! Its been a very long day and now my wife and I must wait an hour for AAA. At least I know THEY ARE DEPENDABLE.

Called this morning to confirm they can fix a slow puncture on my F150. The guy said to just come on down so we did. On arrival, no space to park AT ALL. The sides totally full of cars and the road in front of them you can park only if you have some stupid app on your phone to pay for the parking. So i call them again and say there is nowhere to stop and we cannot get in. They say oh no we have plenty of parking and do not even say goodbye when ending the call. There was nowhere to stop the vehicle to use this business. WHY tell people to just come on down if you are so busy and people cannot get into your business? So now we have to look up and call another place to get the tire fixed. Waste of time!!
Very expensive versus job quality !Unfortunately the tire stock do not have many options, only expensive ones. They not calibrated the tire after change and the camber was not done correctly.
Walked in for a oil change an to ger my ac recharged. Tho it wasnt super cold prior it at least blew out cool air.Almost 3 hrs later the ac doesnt work or blow out cool air like It did before I went there. It only blows hot air now.
Two recent experiences...both where unnecessary work recommended by another place was NOT recommended, and where the work done was reasonable, fast, and high quality. This is the first place I go for anything relating to our cars...Ken, John, and Mark are great.
I have been bringing our family cars here for 10+ years. They are very professional, very prompt, and exceptionally helpful and courteous. I dont take my cars anywhere else.
I brought my truck here to have a tire patched and about a month later as I went to leave for work the same tire was flat. So I put the spare on and took the tire to a shop that i trust near my work on my lunch break. They determined it was leaking from the same spot rochester tire had repaired. He took the tire off the rim and showed me the hack job theyd done to the inside of my tire. They removed a 2×2 square of rubber right down to the belt and just stuck a 1 round patch over the hole with no tire sealant at all. The guy explained to me that it was very unsafe and irresponsible to repair a tire like that. I called rochester tire to make a complaint and the guy who answered was rude and tried to make me feel like the idiot. I will never go back.
I phoned yesterday about 4:15pm and gave tire specs to the representative who said “ let me check around and I’ll come back to you with the best possible price”....paraphrasing but that was the gist...That was over 24 hours ago...Enough said.

2022-05-05Brought my 2008 Colorado in for tires and brake inspection. While I was there they inspected the tires and said I needed two but one was solid and one was not quite at the wear bars. So they wanted to put on two and I asked them to do all three. No upsell what so ever. They ordered and installed the tires, then noticed significant left side frame damage once the wheel was off. So they then reinstalled my old tires and called me with the bad news. They spend time balancing wheels and installing and reinstalling tires but chose to not charge me as my truck is basically totaled now. This shop is outstandingly knowledgeable about many types of repair and is a pleasure to deal with.

2022-02-20Brought my lexus in with vibrating wheels and bad alignment. They did an excellent job doing both despite 2 of the wheels being bent. Refused to charge me for the balancing of wheels. Didnt try to upsell me on any extra repairs, very grateful for their service and for the fact that honest shops like this one still exists. Will definitely be back again!

2022-05-25The crew here is the absolute best! No matter what you bring them on wheels, they will do the best they can to either fix the problem or at least get you to where you need to go! 2022-07-18They had my car for 6 weeks for a head gasket job gave it back to me still smoking and was just a awful experience they are to slow.. and don’t let you know anything they had my car for a week after I waited over a month for a head gasket job had to take it back cause it was smoking still

2021-07-16I recommend this shop. I trust my vehicle to be taken care at a reasonable price with out the typical upsell you get at other shops.On a routine oil change and tire rotation, technician gave me the vehicle with out installing the lug nuts on 1 wheel. I caught it few blocks in to driving. Shop did apologize and took care of it.I wish the shop operation team can improve the turnaround time for routine Oil changes/tires rotations/brakes. My experience has been it usually takes 5-8 hours. This is the only reason for 4 stars not 5.This shop has lot of business that speaks for their work. So I understand the long lead times. However, the waiting is bit inconvenient for me personally. Personally I wouldnt mind paying for a reservation/under 1 hour delivery for quick orders like oil, tire rotation, brakes that typically have parts stocked and repetitive work that can be done by majority technicians. Just my opinion.In conclusion; I till value this shops business integrity so I tolerate the long lead times.

2021-10-03Brought my car in for 4 tires (that I ordered from Tire Rack) and an alignment on a Friday. I was told by Matt they could have it done by closing time at 6pm. Initially I was going to wait in the waiting room and do work on my laptop, but decided to get picked up and go home and leave the car with them.Around 5pm I received a call from Matt stating that they were putting on the tires, but they were wondering if Id be ok with them doing the alignment first thing the next morning, as the alignment tech had a difficult alignment on the rack and it wouldnt be done in time for my car to get done.I said that would be perfectly fine, since I am a former tech with years of alignment experience, and some experience as a service writer as well, so I have been in their shoes before and I completely understood. Matt promised my car would be the first to get worked on in the Morning.Come the next morning and I received a phone call from Matt at 9am telling me my car was finished and I could come pick it up. He told me about 2 issues with my car that they found, and I already knew about them and theyre on my list to fix.Overall a very friendly and honest experience. This was the first time in 10 years someone other than myself installed tires on my vehicle and did the alignment as I no longer work in a shop, so I was extremely picky and nervous about where to bring my car. Matt and the guys here did a great job and I would have no problem coming back to them next time I need tire service.

2021-10-30Honestly have never had this great of service before. They’re a first come first serve shop but amazing service. They’ve looked at 2 of our vehicles and helped us out a lot. They did more than what they had to and didn’t charge us, it’s so nice to have a reliable shop. 10/10 recommend. We have 5 cars so we will be back! Thank you!
