Poor customer service called about a piece of machinery he has little to no information about it just short answers so I came in person to look at it he told me it’s somewhere out there you’ll find it and would not walk out with me to look at it and show me the machine but instead I walked around for 15 minutes looking for a machine out in the yard in the cold to come to find out it’s parked in a barn in the back I look at the machine started it and let it run to hear the motor after a few minutes I shut the Key off but the engine never stopped running I didn’t want to leave the machine running by its self in case something might’ve happened so I waited for 15 or 20 minutes hoping somebody would come by but nobody ever did eventually I figured out a way to shut the machine off then walked inside to tell him about it and he said oh yeah i forgot about that I think we might be fixing that he did not know what year the machine was how many hours was on the machine what was functional or not all he knew was is that it started and ran I would expect that a salesman would at least want to show you the machine and talk to you about it and try to answer any questions you might have but I guess not here
I was doing a Google search and came across Rosseels Farm and Garden Supply. They had a set of tractor tires that would fit my Kubota. We made the deal and they shipped the tires out right away. I received them a couple of days later. They were just what I wanted and came as described. But the best part was the customer service. Dan was extemely helpful!. And had a good attitude which is rare anymore. I no longer deal with people with bad attitudes. I would HIGHLY recommend Rosseels and if I need anything else will shop with them again.
I just got a skid steer from Rosseels and its my first skid steer and Ive rented other ones but needed to buy this year for snow removing business ! It runs how they described and with no new equipment in stock at most dealers a used machine was my best option. I appreciated how honest they wwere when they told me about the pros and cons of the different models they had and Im glad I got to drive the skid steers around. They even had some used psuher snow blades and one fit perfect! Haha Id give 6 stars if they sold trrailers, but Ill get a trailer up the road since they dont. Ill be back though for a grappler bucket soon, these guys know there stuff and have a good selection, thank you!
We purchased a used tractor to clear our land, and the salesman was very helpful, kept us within our budget and showed us three tractor models on their lot that fit our requirements. Very competent staff and non-judgmental.
First time buying a tractor and also first time buying used and out of state.Dan was very helpful answering all of my questions, helped me found out the year model and also helped getting it loaded when the freight company arrived and picked it up.

I recently bought a hard to find John Deere loader from Rosseel’s for my JD 855. Being from out of state, I was a little worried about buying a used, fairly expensive piece of equipment sight unseen. I’d like to report that I had an excellent experience buying from them. I dealt with Tim who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions over several phone calls and when I decided to purchase the loader, he took care of arranging the freight shipping for me. The loader arrived extremely quickly and was well secured to the pallet and all mounting brackets and hardware were included and we’ll packaged. I was very happy to see that the loader was exactly as pictured in the online photos and as described to me. I quickly installed the mounting brackets, attached the loader and tried it out. It works perfectly and I am very happy with it.Based on my experience, I would certainly buy from Rosseel’s again and I would highly recommend them. I would also like to thank Tim for all his help and I would recommend him to anyone calling Rosseel’s.
I bought a tractor from them this spring and finally had time to use it . Best investment I made for me and my family. I built 4 raised beds for next year and used the tractor to fill them up and I was very impressed with my 2009 Kubota l4240 just the right size for our needs. I Gave it the first oil change since I got it. Very easy. Also they helped me out when I needed it. I will say they were very nice people and would do business with them again. Thanks Rosseels.
Dan was great to work with and was more than helpful in finding any other equipment we were looking for. They loaded the tractor up for us and all of the other parts we bought. Top notch service! We live +650 miles from them and were not disappointed when we arrived. Dan helped a lot with answering all of the questions I had prior to our trip over.

I bought what was supposed to be a low-hour tractor from Rosseels after they told me everything worked on it and there were no signs of major repairs having been done. When it arrived it turned out to be basket-case, with a slipping clutch, leaking oil and very many obvious signs of very shoddy repairs having been done (which I photographed and sent them). They claimed they had no knowledge of the defects, even though they obviously have lots of experience with tractors.They refused all requests for a price adjustment, expecting me to absorb thousands of dollars in shipping costs to return it. I bought this tractor trusting their integrity. Dont make the same mistake; take your business elsewhere!!
Just purchased a piece of equipment from Tim at Rosseels. I live over 400 miles away and was extremely apprehensive about wiring the money with all the fraud these days, needless to say it was one of the easiest transactions I have made in my entire life!! The machine arrived promptly and as advertised!! Great customer service!! You wont go wrong with them!!

Just purchased a 4 in 1 bucket from Dan Rosseel. We did the entire deal online via their website and email. It only took a few emails to close the deal and set up shipping. The bucket is here now and I am very happy with the bucket and the deal. The transaction was seamless and painless. It was a pleasure doing business with Dan.
One of the last good places to find new and used farm equipment in Macomb county. Dont be afraid to bargain on used tractors etc...the worse they can say is no and they usually meet you half way. Great guys.
I bought a Kubota L3800 compact tractor sight unseen from Rosseels, the largest purchase I have ever made in that manner. I was a little anxious, especially since they were 300 miles from my farm and there was not much likelihood of returning it, but the tractor was exactly what they advertised and shipped without a hitch. I like these folks.
No problem buying the tractor. They were very helpful getting it loaded. A few days later I suspected why they were so eager to get it off the lot. Radio quit working day 1. Ignition quit working day 2. Had problems with stalling day 3, and found lots of silage in the fuel tank, needs a flush. Found out batteries needed replacing day 4. All this is no big deal, but then a funny knock in the engine, along with heavy exhaust and oil leaking from the blowby under load. Seems I need to rebuild the engine now too. I would still skip the bad review, except when I called to ask about it, they seemed to have no concern about their reputation. The tractor cost $8000 more than I planned. So far. I would recommend against buying equipment from Rosseels.
They do have a nice selection of tractors/equipment, Ill give them that. They are also close to where I live. The prices are a bit higher than some other places, but Im sure that is due their location, as they are conveniently located for those of us here in Macomb County.Unfortunately, during my first trip there, I couldnt get anyone to acknowledge my presence. I thought it was an isolated incident and went back -- it happened again. I had shopped online both times and had cash with me to purchase a Ford tractor (trip 1) and a Woods finish mower (trip 2).I ended up going elsewhere, and paying less. Shipping did take a couple of days, but the place we bought from appreciated our business. I dont even consider going to Rosseels anymore. We do, however, like to joke about being ignored/invisible as we drive by.
Dreaded and fretted about buying used equipment without seeing in person. They accurately described the backhoe attachment with lots of pictures and answered my questions. Knew condition both good and bad before purchase. No surprises. And Walked me thru the process with no pressure. Help find a good transportation for a 500mile trip. Great customer service and would highly recommend.
I was a little hesitant when shopping for a used skid steer based on a few other Google reviews here, but the experience was very fair. I was looking for a used work horse of a machine, nothing new/like new and a AD for a Gehl skid steer seemed like a good deal. They let me drive the skid steer around and I spent the better part of an afternoon doing that. My bro-in-law is a mechanic and came with me. It had some normal wear and a couple drips, but ran well. I asked them about some of the neg reviews and the owner explained that they let customers know if any machines have issues they know about (they mentioned the oil drips to me on the phone btw) and that being used equipment sellers they try to have something for everyone: like new machines (not in my budget haha), machines with some hours, and some more worn used stuff at lower price points. ANYWAY ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I’ve had this machine now for a season and it’s still running like the day I bought it and hasn’t had real problems. They were fair, I got a good deal and with the money I saved I can justify making some future repairs/improvements/maintenance down the road. I like to buy used because of the $$$ savings and alwasy try to drive what I buying first. Just got some forks from there today and service was good – I’ll be back

Do your homework on what your buying I caught them lying almost had to drive six hours for nothing asked a question on a sprayer got a answer found sprayer in a sale 5 months earlier same serial number called back asked same question again got a different answer glad I found out before driving 6 hours to look at it

2022-05-18Our experience at Rosseels Farm & Garden was outstanding. Tim Rosseel took the time to show us multiple tractors without any pressure. All of our questions were answered promptly and honestly. They had a great inventory regarding tractor selection. Based on our needs and wants, Tim also took the time to show us a tractor that they had just gotten in. This was the tractor we ended up purchasing. Since we were not from the local area, Tim also told us about a local Tim Hortons up the road where we could get a coffee and make a decision if we want the tractor or not. Our experience was outstanding. I would recommend Rosseels to my closest friends or just a acquaintance.

2021-08-17While searching for Woods Equipment online years ago, I found Rosseels. They had just what I was looking for at a great price. They shipped the equipment out of state with no issues or delays. Recently, I was looking for another Woods item, which they had in stock. This too, was shipped out quickly to me. They dont inflate shipping charges, so the shipping costs are very reasonable. They provide excellent customer service with quick responses. 2022-07-09Just purchased a used John Deere 1023E from Rosseel’s. I highly recommend! Old school mom and pop feel with friendly employees. While inspecting the tractor before I picked it up, they noticed a bent mower blade and worn mower deck belt and immediately ordered replacement parts. Great service!

2019-08-08My husband and I are buying a tractor and Rosseels have been great! They took the time to show the tractor-loader-mower machine we came to see, and even had some with similar features we could compare to. Lots of like-new machines, and used equipment. The tractor were getting has 29 hours on it and is saving us thousands from buying new. When we looked on Google before coming today there werent many photos, so Im posting a few from my walk around the yard. Thanks Rosseels! IT was a drive to get here too, and there are a lot of restaurants and clean hotels nearby :)

2020-05-28When you hear family owned you have certain expectations. Well I assure you they exceeded all of them. Came in on a weekend during the corona quarantine and both of the brothers were extremely helpful in answering the millions of questions I had. Walling me around a hot yard and showing me all the products and going over them with me. I cant stress enough that they were worth my driving over 1.5 hrs to get my tractor through them. Quality, affordable and dependable experience with the Roseels. If your looking for used equipment stop looking. Shop here!

2020-07-09I Made the drive up from the Cleveland area to look at a specific tractor I had seen on line. They had it already pulled out and cleaned up when I got there and was immediately greeted by Dan who I had spoken with the day before. He spent a full 2 hours with me answering questions and giving advise. Bernie also assisted with the wheels/ tires. Their family run business is top notch and they followed through with everything from start to finish. Every detail was done on time and as described...down to the very fair delivery by Fast Eddie a short 10 days later! I would HIGHLY recommend Rosseels for any tractor purchase or service!

2022-02-15I contacted Rosseels Farm & Garden Supply via email based on a Kubota RTV that they had on their website. Dan responded within minutes and provided details that they had already received a down payment from another buyer. However, Dan asked what i was looking for and contacted me a week later stating that they found a unit that should meet my requirements. Even though i have never purchased from them in the past, the Rosseels team treated me like i was a long time valued customer or a close family friend. I did find a Kubota closer to our home but decided to purchase from Rosseels based on their customer service, efforts, and complete honesty.When i picked up my Kubota RTV, the whole team at Rosseels were completely supportive and extremely helpful. They truly made me feel like i was special and greatly excided my expectations.Based on my experience - I highly recommend doing business with Rosseels and plan to make future purchases.I am a extremely satisfied customer!
