Luckily I was able to meet Adilene, property manager, and she was able to help me find a rental that fit my budget and had everything I need. Unfortunately I had to move back, yet that didn’t take away from the service I received. If you need to find a rental, please reach out, they are great! Adalynn and Charlie have been so amazing and always make you feel welcome. The property always looks very clean and well kept and the apartments were beautiful when we moved in. Comment: Getting basic needs for living is impossible. Staff is rude and won’t return phone calls or emails. Don’t waste your time, money or emotional well-being on them. They do not care about their tenants at all. Both my place and neighbors were infested with mice and roaches.

Comment: Throughout my time at my apartment, I had a couple maintenance issues due to the units being a bit on the older side. Even with that being the case, Adilenethe girl from management, was very approachable and had a handy man at my apartment the next day. I moved out due to purchasing a home but if I ever had to, I would hands down rent through them again. Thank you guys!

Comment: Regardless of the state of the apartments, the amazing office managers at RPS are willing to listen, help, and care for their tenants. If there are any issues, the office managers are prompt to help and take care of the issue(s), quickly. I have yet to experience a problem that I have brought to their attention that has not been addressed. They are always at the top of it! I can personally vouch for Adilene, who has been attentive and caring since I first became a tenant. She is always willing to listen and take charge of any problem. The other wonderful lady, Ana, is also super mindful and helpful. They are both super friendly, sympathetic, and informative. It also helps a TON que hablan Español. As a Chicana, I have been met with dirty looks just because of my accent and native language. Adilene and Ana are fluently bilingual and use this superpower to help those that are usually underserved. Adilene and Ana do everything in their power to provide us with warm, safe homes and RPS did a good job with providing us with warm, hospitality service. Thank you!

Comment: The staff is very rude and disrespectful. I waited at the window to speak to someone, as I went to get a listing which they did not have any. She was on the phone, and made me wait.. very unprofessional. As I was leaving, ADELINA proceeded to ask me why Im moving from my current location and whats my current rent and what my income is....very nosey! Not to mention its none of her business why Im looking for a new place.

Comment: I lived here for several years and I can say Im pleased with the establishment. It has its ups and downs like any place but I notice they are always on top of the problem. Some issues may take more time then others, due to how the problem needs to be addressed and what is the best solution. But all my issues regarding my problems have been fixed and at a good timely matter. Even during these times of covid, they are willing to work with you and never once made me feel like Im about to be evicted. I just had an issue recently and the girl who has worked here since I moved in helped me out asap; She is amazing. Furthermore, they have a new person with glasses working in the office and she is truly wonderful. She is very sweet, kind, professional and makes asking about a problem feel at ease. She is always on top of things and makes living here great for me and my kids. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Comment: When I first moved here 4 years ago it was really nice and service was Great. Now its hard to get service and someone to answer the phone. They have been alright now that COVID-19 happened. Ive been asking for windows screens for over a year now and still No one has came out to see about it. Im disabled and cant make in office at times and Provider goes and pay rent. I dont understand why I cant get this done or apartment painted, walls are messed up.Other than that they do the best they can I guess...

Comment: If your credit is bad this place will definitely rent to you but dont expect them to answer their phone or have maintenance out for any repairs in a timely manner, oh and if they do come out for repairs they dont clean up after themselves, they came to change out the water heater took him 6-7 hours after he said he would be back in one hour to change it, then when he left, he left the old water heater in our front yard and the cardboard to the new one just thrown in the back yard, if I could give zero stars I would.

Comment: BEWARE I would not give them a star. These are very unprofessional and scammers. They take your money and deny you with out every doing a credit search. We were denied 2 days before our report was ran. They told me I had 2 negatives on my credit I checked and nothing came back. I called the company to tell them they had not done the search and nothing was on my credit. They finally ran it and then came back and now said my fiancé had a criminal history which is a lie and we have proof. We even spoke with the company that did the background/credit check and they told us they did not find anything on his record. How do you deny people 2 days before you do the credit search and lie about whats on they credit and background. Once confronted they denied everything and was extremely rude. If I never called them out they would have never did the search BEWARE they are scammers who take peoples money for credit checks. They lied numerous time and even thought it was funny had a smirk on there face the whole conversation. They denied giving me corporates number.

Comment: Never answer their pphone, BUg infested, Maintenance guys are bad with sticking to schedule meet times to fix stuff around property. Front office nice but are not punctual with calling people back or notifying of issues that need follow ups. owner of property is hard to reach to even approve the issues that need fixing. Even the pool was shut down by county due to the poor maintence of it.

And I had to ask for a transfer and they charged me - $100 fee just to transfer me to another place that’s infested with rats and will not do anything about it . This management should definitely be closed down . So unprofessional and definitely not a place to call home . Seriously can’t wait to see them closed down !!

Comment: I currently live at one of the properties managed by Rps in Bakersfield, I made a maintenance request only one week, exactly 7 Days later, for multiple things ... including black mold in the kitchen and bathroom . The plumbing is always backed up, there’s no cold water in the bathroom, and my side door has a non functioning dead bolt lock, and is the wrong size door for the space it’s in. I have been calling daily, every hour on the 30, and no answer. I went into the office yesterday as it is my only day off to do so, and the lights were on and there was talking but a locked door . The office ladies are very nice, but very bad at getting things done. There’s still trash in the front of my house from the previous tenants!As if all that wasn’t bad enough there’s also a raw sewage leak in all the apartments in the complex that their own employees (especially the plumber), have made note of and let the company know what’s causing the problem. The apartment I’m in has become inhabitable and we will be moving.RPS knew Of the problem and still rented the apartment (against the law), I have made a health department complaint, as well as a BBB complaint as well .

Comment: Horrible environment. Not safe! Cars in secure gate get broken windows more often than not. Drive by shooting, loitering, TRASHY, not kept up. Almost no response when calling. Fence jumping and just not a friendly place to call home. I dont recommend this place for anyone faint of heart.

Comment: Affordable yes, but no professionalism. The desk attendants responded to my inquiries about viewing with, Its not ready. The vacancies list posted for potential residents read ready now. Both looked puzzled and asked about my income which is presented with the application and asked why did I need a two bedroom if Im single without a co-applicant. Notices about eviction process were posted all over the glass which definitely give an impression of judgement toward current tenants and likely applicants.
