Used them twice. First time was great. They fixed my issue with me being from out of town I expected to pay a little more than normal. But the second time I went there. I bought a part for my trailer and asked one of the mechanics for some Teflon tape. Like a 3 or 4 inch strip so I can thread my fitting. He tells me he doesnt have any what kind of mechanic shop doesnt have Teflon tape?!?! So I knew it was a lie. Would have been 5 stars if he didnt lie to me.
Painted our 70 Holiday Rambler, and shes beautiful. Always helpful with great advice.

Called the morning we were to leave on a trip. They took us in immediately and did 2 quick fixes on my older Class A rv. Thank you so much. Came home from trip.... had a 3rd repair.... and the wait time would be 3 to 5 weeks. At age 83 I persuaded a friend to help me replace my microwave and azz backflow valve.... had had the 2nd of the original items fixed up in St.Ignace.Rush RV is a good legit place. I appreciate the initial service. They are hurt by the same thing hurting our country.... a lack of trained and willing workforce.Our liberal progressive government is giving too much in social programs --- creating a lazy population. I hired a handyman at $175/day now to help me do little jobs.
Just picked up my travel trailer from Rush RV. People there are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Workmanship was excellent, delivered as promised, and prices were OK considering how busy they are. Would definitely return, and would recommend to others.
Rush RV made some repairs to my camper. I was treated well from start to finish. Work performed honestly and at a fair price. Will use Rush RV again in the future.
The crew was great, we just picked up our RV a Cedar Creek 40 ft Hathaway. I messed up big time last winter and never put the antifreeze in the water system nor did I drain it properly. There were numerous water leaks, all fixed. I also had them install (2) AC soft start units so we can run our AC on a 30 amp generator. The axles were repacked, brakes adjusted, batteries service and checked. Slides lubed etc. We are now ready for our first retirement trip out west! The crew did a great job r
Rush RV provided outstanding service. They took the time to do a road test on the trailer and noted an issue that was imminent with the electrical harness. Much appreciated. On top of that, we noted another problem with the plug before we left the parking lot and they took care of that problem as well, and at no cost!You will not be sorry you brought your trailer or RV to Rush for service. They will take care of all your needs.
Al and his team are the absolute best. They are the only ones that I let touch my rig. They handle everything from a simple oil change to seamlessly repairing damage where someone had backed into us and bent up our basement doors. You cant even tell that someone hit us after their repairs. Always courteous and somehow they always fit you in and get the service done on our (usually unreasonable) timetable. Pricing is better than anywhere else as well. You cant beat it!
Honestly this is the first RV experience I have had that was amazing. A year ago we were camping when our water pump died. My dealership couldnt get me in for months and I needed the pump to winterize so my brother and I replaced it, but the pressure was never right. After waiting 6 months, they (original dealership) got it in to look at it, waited another 4 months, told me it was fine, charged me an outrageous amount, and gave it back still winterized and broken, but weve been dealing with the limited water pressure all year. fast forward to Labor Day weekend and we are camping at Holly. Got all set up and the pump would make noise, but wouldnt pump water period. I started googling and found Rush RV online. They were nearby and I posted a question on Google asking if they did onsite remote repairs since they were already closed for the day, someone from there responded before they opened. Called them exactly at 9 on a Saturday and had them come out the same day. The tech correctly diagnosed the issue (2 bad pumps, lucky me), got a new one installed and I have better water pressure than I have ever had in the camper. They were extremely nice, helpful, and reasonably priced compared to every RV place we have worked with. I will be driving more than an hour going forward if anything goes wrong on my camper to use them and definitely will be a repeat customer (unfortunately based on history, I know it will happen).
Pam and Al are lifesavers! They helped move my moms travel trailer into a very tight spot. We reached out to so many businesses that just looked at me like I was crazy! I cant express how much of a relief it was when Pam said they could do it. They set that thing on a dime :) We will be using them for all of our future business and highly recommend that you do to!
Without going on and on I can say this is by far the best RV repair experience Ive ever had, Al Rush treats you like a old friend. His staff are all friendly and professional. They do a good job for a good price. Almost makes you forget about the reason that your there.
I took my motorhome to this place because of the high reviews they received and was disappointed in the service and the quality of their work. I dropped my RV off on August 30 and was told it would take two weeks to have my RV body work (front bumper) repaired. After calling repeatedly to see if the work was being done and would be completed by Sept 27th (I needed it back for a trip to Petosky area that already had been paid for) I was assured it would be done on time. On the 26th they informed me that they were not completed and not only that the paint match on the repair was off significantly!. On top of this when I picked it up they still wanted payment of 75% of what I owed them for the repair even though it was not a good paint match and didnt have the diamond shield applied and their was also paint over spry on some of the ares near the unaffected are of the repairs.12-2-20 Updated review to five stars after talking with Al (owner) about some of the issues from earlier experience. Al was very professional and saw that the problems of the paint match were fixed and he even fixed some other issues that he did not charge me for. I would definitely take my coach back to Rush RV for other work. Thanks Al!
I cannot say enough good things about Rush RV. I experienced an electrical problem while living in my RV full time. The team at Rush RV got me in much quicker than everyone else in town could and quickly diagnosed my issue. They got me back on the road on no time and were very reasonable in pricing. Wonderful experience, thank you very much!
Stopped in to check the shop out and talked with Al about warranty work. Called back about a week later after returning from a vacation. Emailed list of issues and requested appt. A small hiccup with the email provided but was intending to bring my rig to them. Plans changed and I sold the RV. I intend to bring my new RV here when I need service and hope this is the only place I deal with going forward.
Al and his team renovated the exterior of my vintage 69 Holiday Rambler. They did a phenomenal job, exceeding my expectations. They stripped off all the old exterior paint, and repaired countless dents and body blemishes. The team went above and beyond by rebuilding several complex trim pieces. The paint job was very professional, and exactly according to our custom request. The overall attention to detail was very impressive. Though the work took much longer than expected, it was also a much bigger job than originally anticipated. Al and his team remained focused and committed to the highest quality workmanship, and delivered a beautiful finished product that I and my family are proud to own. I highly recommend Rush Auto & RV due to their great customer service and fantastic workmanship.
Would give 10 stars if we could! Excellent Service and repairs! We smashed the side of 5th wheel on gas pump coming home from vacation, found Rush RV through Google (only place with 5 stars) took it there on a Saturday and picked it up exactly two weeks later, which was two weeks earlier than expected! We have used other RV dealerships in the past and they kept out camper for 4 months. Will never do business with anyone else and will refer everyone we know.
I love Rush automotive. These guys are great, the owner and his staff give you top notch service in a timely manner at a good price. More importantly you can trust them to not take advantage of you. I have driven over 500 miles to have Rush take care of my RV. RUSH is the best far above the rest.
I picked my Bounder today. New tires, oil change, furnace fixed and some other stuff. This place goes above and beyond to help. I had a question about a tire vibration after I had it on the road. We have worked with most of the major RV services in south east Mi but no one compares to Rush RVs job quality and service. This is a top in class RV service provider that charges you fairly. Although I have no relation to Rush RV they make you part of their family. I am very confident in recommending them because of the outstanding work and craftsmanship their team put into our motorhome. They delivered!
On September 5, 2019, while heading up North to a Horsemanship clinic, my horse trailer tire began smoking while cruising on I-75. Turns out that the bearings were shot, and the heat could have created a huge problem had my trailer, with all the sawdust shavings caught fire. Luckily it didnt and through a huge number of angels, we received an absolutely amazing amount of assistance. One of those angels was Alan Rush of Rush RV, who stayed late to accept our trailer, and also set up a rental trailer for us to stay in overnight since we were stranded! As promised, he fixed the trailer, and all the other bearings, first thing the next morning, as well as fixed our horses (Reggie) chest bar that had somehow come loose, and we were on our way. We cannot say enough nice things about Al & his crew at Rush RV, and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend them and their work to anyone. They are terrific.
Needed fast quality service on a water leak and hydraulic jack issue before a planned trip. . Al at Rush got me right in and everything taken care of promptly and at a fair reasonable price. Couldn’t be happier.I’m sure I’ll be back many more times in the future. Unfortunately for me.
Had an Oops with my RV as a stop sign jumped out and decided to put a 8 foot paint removing scrape down the passenger side of my rig. (Watch out for rogue stop signs!!!) I explained to AL at Rush Automotive that I was leaving for Silver Lake Sand Dunes in 2 weeks and would really love to get it back at least a day before we leave. Al got it done in 1 week!!! Amazing customer service, highly recommend.

Do decent work but prices are outrageous. Loosened my mirrors and didnt titen them after so the mirrors folded in as soon as I hit the expressway. Didnt have a wrench so made for an interesting drive

We broke down on I69 on a thurday at 5:45. We found rush automotive on the web. Called and they were closing in 15 minutes. The best call we ever made. 2022-06-02Awesome service experience with my travel trailer rotted floor repair. To me, it’s rare to find service like this these days. Prior to Rush I tried to have the large chain store RV dealer just down the road do the same repair and they were terrible so I decided to try Rush and I’m so happy I did. In the process of fixing the rotted floor we had all the flooring replaced and it turned out great. There was a lot of tear up of the kitchen cabinets and the fridge was removed. Pluming work. And everything worked after the removal and reinstallation. They also replaced the awning material for the 2 slide outs and the awning itself. Al , Sid, Dee, the technician Rich, and anyone I talked to there were great! I will HIGHLY recommend Rush to anyone who is seeking a good service experience!

2022-05-10One of the only places in Southeast Michigan that welcomes wood rot repairs on older trailers; yet refreshingly, they dont act like they are the only game in town. Rush RV took excellent care of me as a customer and did quality repairs on my 2004 KZ toyhauler. I highly recommend them and will go out of my way to do business with them again. Just be warned, that like any truly good shop, they have a fairly long waiting list. So dont waste time, call them today!

2022-05-17My motorhome will never go to another place. Rush RV has done everything necessary for my RV. Batteries, outside shower repair, slide reseal, oil change etc. Too much to list it all. They give one price for winterization/dewinterization and the price is the same for both as General RV charges for one. The other guys stole personal property from my unit and said theres no way for you to prove it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Their work is completed in a timely fashion and fairly priced. I can not say enough good about them but my initial sentence says it all. Thank you for all you do!!!

2022-06-14I called as this company showed as having mobile rv repair. I called and asked, I was told they have that service and was provided a phone number to the person. I called him, he stated he would call back and set an appointment for later in the week, which he did not. I asked Rush about it and got We do not have that service, we give out a number that may or may not be able to help you. I attempted to leave a review on the Facebook site and of course it was immediately removed. No-one likes the truth. Im sure the service is fine at the shop, may not want to pass on unreliable sources.

2022-07-12Rented from them 2 years in a row. This year, 2022, the awning broke in half . It was 17 years old but they claim the fabric was only a year old which I doubt. It rained and pooled and they claim it was my fault because I didnt put the awning up. Have camped with trailers for over 30 years and never had to do that with awnings and just rain. Funny how 20 other rigs in our group plus on of their other rental units were there and all awning were down with no problems. They charged me my deposit. Jeeze you dont think being that old it which they claimed they new the condition of the awning when delivered, it may have been structuraly weakened from the age.

2021-11-04After my husband passed, Al, sid and Dee were kind to me when I took our 41 foot DP for fiberglass repairs. It took a long time & it is hard to get phone updates, but the fiberglass body work done on the minor $5800 repair was very good.For body work ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐One star⭐For the maintenance I paid for & the inspection (over $500) my buyer paid for. They did bolt the love seat to the floor as I requested, and took care of the AC issue, but they DID NOT change the oil on my generator. This was priority for me, because it was over hours and sale of the coach included completed gen oil change w/new filter. The inspection missed many things as well. Very upsetting to me since I thought they were dependable. My buyer was from Texas & we decided not to try to get any sort of refund. I would never go back there regardless because of the generator. Sorry I have to find a different place to do work on the unit I bought to replace the DP.

2021-09-14Al, Sid, and Rich all did a great job fitting my RV in and getting it finished during a very busy time of the year. Clearly, Rich is an artist when it comes to applying and finishing roofs. The job looked better than factory. Thanks so much for getting me back out there before camping season ends! I highly recommend Rush and am so glad to have found them.

2021-12-12Was scheduled at General RV Clarkston to get a wash and roof inspect for our travel trailer. These guys are HALF as much...about $250. They have a great and growing business. Nothing against General RV but.....
