Worst shipping company ever , no one has a clue what is going on . Everyone tells you something different who works there . My package was received Tuesday by them and I tried to pick it up every day and they couldnt manage to un load it off a truck. I made multiple appointments to pick it up and everytime I tried to get it they told me to make a new appointment and said I never made a previous one. At the end of it all they apologized and said it was there fault after wasting my time for a week and making me feel stupid.
Without a doubt, worst trucking company i have ever used. Customer service is non-existant, i believe they blocked my office number (i can get through on my cell, not my office line... weird) constant late shipments. When i worked at another company, they took my product off one 2x6 pallet and moved it all on to 3 1x4 pallets, pissing my customer off greatly when the product arrived damaged from breaking through the 1x4. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Had a delivery appointment from 2pm-7pm ... I call at 6:30pm to get an update as I hadnt heard from anyone all day. After go through their directory 5 times trying to get ahold of customer service and then waiting on hold, I was told my delivery never even made it out of the terminal that day. Then I get transferred to some random voicemail... No communication. Cant at least tell me my delivery is delayed?
I have also experienced horrible customer service from Saia. I totally agree with the other reviewer. They quote low and then add hundreds more in additional charges and it takes months to fix on top of all the work the customer has to do to get the bill fixed. Thankfully R & L Carriers and FedEx Freight are honest people and take care of their customers!
Worst Experience.No response from the Local Terminals at all. NO One responds the dispatches from customer service. Driver showed up on 15 mins notice, while clearly notified and acknowledged that 1 hour notice was required. One Day Late delivery with no follow-ups or calls.Spent a day to track down the status of shipment.
AWFUL SHIPPING COMPANY. IF YOU GET YOUR PRODUCT AT ALL, I GUARANTEE IT WILL NOT BE DELIVERED ON TIME OR IN A TIMELY FASHION!!!!!Thank you for the response, NO I have not received our shipment. I am currently trying to arrange sending our own truck to go pick up from the delivery terminal because yet again, they could not get it out for us. It arrived at the delivery terminal on 12/21 it is now 1/3. The last 2 shipments were LOST at your OH terminal and never found 16 skids so they were not small yet the terminal lost the shipments, the shipper had to replace due to them never being located.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst trucking company ever. DO NOT USE THEM. We waited for 3 days for a pick up. When the driver finally showed up at the end of business on the 3rd day he had a major attitude. He refused our pallet and went on his way. Pallet is in perfect shape, goods are strapped down and shrink wrapped. So R & L it is. We will never call Saia again for any of our shipments. Good luck staying in business Saia.
Worse company I have ever seen. I was suppose to get a delivery at 9:30 this morning and its 9 at night and nothing. Checked the tracking and its back at the terminal. Called about 6 this evening and they said it would be delivered between 7 and 8. Stay away from this sorry company. Hopefully they will become a fallen flag.
This is the worst trucking/delivery company that I’ve encountered after having hundreds of deliveries by different companies. Saia have poor customer service, they lose shipments and damage them. In today’s world with so many delivery truck services you would think that this company would mind their P’s and Q’s. Terrible business practices.
This carrier ,just like all the rest, reverses charges and debits your bank account while you sleep.For HUNDREDS of dollars. I want the world to know about the evil that this Company does.It is call the LIFT GATE SCAM. They offer extra services to receivers in the form of a lift gate delivery service,and then they back charge the original shipper hundreds of dollars.
A ticket was submitted to attempt to find my masterbuilt 1050 grill because nobody wants to admit they lost my grill or somebody saw an opportunity been waiting Since June 21st and I was just told this yesterday was told my information was entered wrong far as name and street can’t believe a company would operate like this I’m definitely gonna make sure the right people know about this

2022-05-24Although it was difficult to contact the company as per the tracking instructions, I was able to contact them via an office phone line and made the appointment for Friday. It was missed with no contact. I understand that the covid situation is causing some delivery difficulties, so I am not worried about the missed appointment and the item showed up early Monday morning. The driver was very polite. No damage to car hood upon inspection. All is good. I even gave him some $$ for lunch.

2022-02-22I gave them 1 star but if I could I would give them -100. I ordered blinds from Levolor through Home Depot. Levolor choose to use Saia LTL Freight. I have waited 8 hrs, 6 hrs, one day and 2 hrs the next day. Both of these were promised deliveries times. I can see that this company should not be trusted at all with delivery dates and times. Talking to representatives on the phone I can see they know how to the apologize and be courteous but they cannot fix the problems of missed deliveries. Again waring do not use this shipping company. A word to the wise use FedEx or UPS, even the Post Office more reliable.

2022-04-05I was so worried about all the bad reviews against the co. but I did not have any issue at all having my delivery scheduled. The woman called me to verify a window for the delivery and it was great. The driver was polite and professional handling the order.Thank You

2022-07-28Charles from SAIA Dearborn freight delivery driver was awesome. We had a large delivery at work today - “Old World Nouveau”, and he kindly came in the store and asked where we would like the delivery. The pallet was way at the back of the freight truck and he had to move all other deliveries on the truck to get to ours. He was very kind, patient and friendly. He unloaded the boxes in our loading dock and took the pallet back as we requested.Nice to have a friendly delivery even though our area is filled with construction! Hope we have Charles for our future deliveries!Thank you to Charles! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2022-07-22My experience is not good been promised 5 days in a row that we would get the delivery and 5 days in a row our product has been on the truck but for some reason that no one can articulate we have not had the delivery

2022-03-18Worst company to deal with if you want something shipped make sure its in a steel container cuz they damage your parts and will never return your calls when you file for a claim, and they are rip off and extra 5 days sitting in the yards when its saying out for delivery then I get the part damaged.

2021-08-27Don’t do business with this company if you are serious. I cannot even describe how frustrated I am with this company. My package was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday! Due to supposed driver shortages and miscommunication, the delivery was rescheduled for Thursday. I even called in the morning to make sure it was delivered thrusday. I took time off for this delivery to be done today(thrusday)and my wife took time off Tuesday. We are both burned out and overworked resident physicians who have been patiently waiting for this package to come and have taken time off for this delivery. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! We cannot keep on taking time off for this delivery. Can’t get a hold of the terminal manager, which apparently is nearly impossible per customer service agents and the customer service is just limited to “yeah looks like it’s not on the truck today for delivery”. What is this shipping company if you cannot even get through the person that runs the place?As a resolution we have been told to go pick up our 400lbs package from the nearby center, without realizing that people might not have the capacity to transport 400lbs package.

2021-05-23If I could give a minus 5 to this company I would. This is the WORST trucking company ever. The driver drove past my house 2 times. The driver called and asked if I had a pallet jack! I called the office to report this and was told that yes, he may have driven past my house but he had to deliver to business customers first as they are more important than residential customers. I was scolded for calling to complain about not getting my delivery. I was rudely informed that I should have pallet jack for them to use as they have no way to get my delivery off their truck. They have a number of drivers out with covid, so the other drivers are working extra. Then I was asked if I could help unload or provide manpower to help the driver unload. Needless to say, they failed to make my delivery!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

2021-03-23I tried to post a review right after our vanity got delivered last month, but for some reason it didn’t post. After reading reviews I was a bit nervous that our new vanity for our bathroom remodel was being delivered through Saia, but it honestly was an awesome experience. I even sent the company an email to let them know how happy we were with the delivery and especially the driver. The delivery was right on time and the driver was super careful bringing the vanity up our driveway onto our walkway. He even gave a hello to our pup who was eyeing him down and barking at the door. There was no damage (thanks to Saia and Overstock) and overall just a great delivery!

2021-03-11We were supposed to receive a package from them days ago. I got a call toward the end of the delivery window saying it was loaded on the truck wrong there was no way theyd be able to get it off it would have to go out again the next day. So the next day I waited and towards the end of the day not receiving any calls I called and was told they would work on making it so I could just go pick it up because it never got put on a truck. Then, around 5ish they call us back and say the terminal is too busy you wont be able to pick it up it will go out on a truck tomorrow. Guess what didnt end up on a truck the next day? our package. Guess what would have never been able to be delivered off a truck and always would of required us to pick it up? our package. Did they tell us this when they received it? No How about after multiple days waiting all day for a delivery that didnt come? Nope. Finally got the okay to just go pick it up and Im glad we were available to otherwise who knows how many more days playing games it would have taken to finally get our package.
