Came in for a vacuum repair, I received absolutely Stellar service from very friendly people. I had never gotten my vacuum repaired before and was worried I would just have to buy a new one but these guys were great. I was very pleased with the price to repair my vacuum and the gentleman carried my vacuum to my car after repairing it A+.
Ive had my vacuum repaired there on two different occasions. They were very quick and their prices are very reasonable. Every employee I have encountered there has been very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Sandys 👍

Very helpful, 2nd trip in about a month. 1st trio was during Covid, they took my order over the phone and even delivered it to my car. This trio, agian they knew exactly what I needed and had me on my way in 10 minutes. I also bought the led bulb they suggested and can I just tell you what a high difference this small adjustment made?!
Went in to find a replacement belt after scouring 4 big box stores for it. Handed the broken one to the salesperson and he knew immediately what it was, had it in stock and was cheaper than what those other retailers were selling their belts for. So happy with Sandys Sew and Vac and fortunately for me, it is right down the street. Thank you so much!
The gentleman is very nice told me what my machine needed gave me a quote on the repairs and how long it would it. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very knowledgable and friendly. Only gave 3 stars because I felt slight pressure to purchase their choice and not what I could afford. They offered layaway and such but it wasnt for me.

2022-05-21So glad that I chose to come here for machine advice and purchase. The store owners are super sweet and patient with someone like me who has basically no knowledge of sewing machines. Should I ever need repairs or maintenance questions I will absolutely be back.

2021-06-23When I saw the Lincoln Park location was closed I groaned. When I found out the limited hours of the Telegraph location I groaned again but made time to get my serger and vintage machine in for service. I won’t be back.When I picked up my machines, all seemed fine until I finally got around to opening up the case and removed my beloved 65 year old Singer and found big globs of black grease oozing out from the plate on the bottom. Not a little, big globs! It made a huge mess inside my case and all over my work table! My 65 year old case is now permanently stained.Also, somebody thought it was a great idea to put a sticker on a 65 year old paint job. Considering they have this machine for sale in their shop, they know what the value is, and they know that it isn’t something just easily replaced, and yet they put a sticker that does not easily remove onto my machine. I had to be extremely careful removing it hoping to not ruin the paint and clear coat on my machine as I sat there slowly scraping the residue and paper off. You want to put stickers on plastic, be my guest, but to do so on old paint is not only a bad idea, but one they should know better about.I repeat, I won’t be back. I waited a few months to write this review because I sincerely didn’t want to, however when I pulled my machine out today, I was met with more oozing black grease. Enough is enough.

2021-10-24Brought my vaccum and was charged and repair wasnt done kept saying its your filter. Its not my filter if they took apart and made sure nothing in hosing that would of solved the problem.

2020-02-01Been there a few times. Bought two of my machines here. Took my current machine in for service and browsed a little. Sounds like Ill be making my third machine purchase here but Im undecided and considering options. Always friendly, professional, and fair. If I remember correctly, they offer free training which is a plus
