Comment: Went for a private event, and just complete uttered mess. No organization, stood in line for a meat line even though we didnt purchase meat. Then went we go to the ticket place. They made us stand in a complete other line. Waited 30 min in meat line just to wait 10 more. Never again.

Comment: Had a banquet here with my highschool waterpolo team, the decor was good, the pastrys were absolutely dashing. But unfortunately the service was not, it seems that the servers paid quite a lot more attention to people names higher on the list. The sirloin they served seemed to be medium rare, seeing as how me, some of the parents, and my teammates all ate theirs with the only thing left over being the huge bloody center left cut out. I heard great remarks on the chicken, I personally had a potato and garlic bread, both delicious.

The Elks is a great institution, but people are looking for an open-to-the-public restaurant to go pick up bbq on the daily. I hear the food is great there, but that doesnt enable me to eat there.

Upon entering this lodge, I was told that no kids are allowed inside. So, it was a pointless trip! Can’t do any grilling and can’t have any dinner! As an elk, I am not sure about the validity of this kind of policy!

Comment: I called to make a reservation for two nights at the RV park and per the info on the website. I went through the bartender and was to go to the office the next day. However, when I got to the office, they told me the were no sites available and was told, it is actually first come, first served. If it is first come, first served, then why would you make a reservation? If they are not going to honor what the website says about after hours call the bartenders, then take it off the website.

Comment: I attended a monthly veterans stand down at this location a couple weeks ago and while I encountered some friendly individuals I noticed some were not very welcoming to new comers. I overheard some rude conversations between a couple individuals that was off putting and seemed to target certain racial groups and individuals. It’s wasn’t so much the environment more so the attitudes and demeanor of some of the individuals who attended.

The food was delicious, people were friendly; they held a 50/50 raffle and had live entertainment. We received great customer service, met new people and had an enjoyable evening.

Comment: This is a great lodge - especially for traveling Elks who stay in the RV camping areas. Very friendly lodge, nice bar and facilities. The Friday night cook-your-own-steak night is phenomenal! They have the biggest grill you can imagine and steaks (chicken, ribs, fish) are cooked over red oak wood which imparts the famous “Santa Maria style BBQ” flavor. Meats are accompanied by a buffet of baked potatoes, fries, pinto beans, garlic bread, salad and condiments.

Comment: We went for Marissa Chavez wedding to Miller Johnson n it was great. Food n service is very good. And they covered all the old timers pictures with sheer fabric n purple lights. Nobody wants to see pictures of old guys. Even though our relatives are in them.

Comment: One of the largest Elks Lodges. They are known worldwide for their BBQ tri-tip. Especially Friday nights. I went to the 34th annual car show there. Lots of cars, it was great! Mostly local classics. We all have a good time.

Comment: Had a horrible experiance with Elks club members at a recent event (color run) held at their fair grounds. I am very disappointed and repulsed by the attitudes and behaviors (yelling at people, oppositional and anti social communication) the Elks club members that were overseeing and managing the event displayed toward community members. I hope that the members that oversee future events improve their social and communication skills as both were severely lacking.

Comment: We were here for an Obedience trial. The grounds are very well-kept, the buildings are attractive and the RV parking is great. The location is back from local streets and protected from noise. I dont know about the organization but their location is excellent - better than I expected.

Comment: About once a month we go for the Friday night cook your own stake. Friendly and courteous staff. Excellent bar and the food was great. Excellent venue for class reunion, weddings, car shows and more. Can accommodate larger groups as well as smaller groups.
