Comment: There are so many positives I could mention about my entire experience, but where it started and truly matters was with John Herzog. John was great from the second he picked up the phone and started talking to me. His professionalism and knowledge was incredible because all previous insurance companies I have dealt with have barely known what they have to offer. I was given a quote and mentioned that it was a little too pricey and John was able to get back to me within 10 minutes while I was in complete shock how fast he was able to figure everything out for me and get it to the price I was looking for. I believe personally most reviews should have a final question that states “Would you hire this person if you owned your own company?” and my answer to that regarding John is hand down, without a doubt, yes. But let me mention that I don’t just mean that I would have him work for me, I would personally have him running the company. For someone like him who has such a high expertise in his field and great customer service skills and always willing to go above and beyond, I know that anyone would be privileged to have him work for their company. So kudos to John and to Sarah Atkinson for being so great at what they do, creating great customer experiences, and insurance that’s unbeatable. Thank you again John.

Comment: I do NOT recommend this insurance group. Nina Ma is the absolute worst customer service agent I have ever dealt with. Prepare for your rate to go up by more than $200 without any notice. She is very unresponsive and impossible to get a hold of (when I call, the receptionist says she will call me back, then she just leaves voicemails right before they close and she leaves- this happened several times), she is VERY unhelpful and money hungry. Nina Ma is very shady agent, unhelpful and raised our rate without notifying us and we can never get a hold of her. This insurance group is very unprofessional and does not have their customers best interest in mind and unwilling to help. The only reason they have good reviews is because they bribe their clients with gift cards to leave only 5 star reviews SHADY

Comment: Everyone I have spoken with at this office has been very polite and friendly, but I also think it is important to be competent and accountable to which this office has proven to lack completely.I recently setup a policy for three vehicles that I was moving from out of state and the rate that I am retroactively being charged is ALMOST THREE TIMES the rate I was quoted when I setup the policy. Initially I was told this was because they did not have my driving record, which is not plausible as I was transferring from another State Farm office so State Farm as a company most certainly had my driving record. Then they apologized and admitted they made an error, but refused to accept accountability for the error an instead said they can not legally charge me the rate they misquoted. There are probably about 4-5 other things about the policy that was not quoted correctly, and I received a few iterations of misquotes in between. Apparently their interpretation of the law (which I believe to be incorrect), is that if they as the insurance provider make a mistake when quoting a policy they can come back at any time in the future and retroactively increase your rate from when the policy started and it would be illegal for them to charge you anything other than the higher rate even if it is THREE TIMES HIGHER than the rate you were quoted.Anyone dealing with this company to get a quote should ask them if that is their interpretation of the law and how they treat their customers. Do they reserve the right to come back and charge customers THREE TIMES AS MUCH OR MORE retroactively due to their own incompetence in pricing out the quote. Ask them specifically if they make a mistake in pricing out the quote if you will be held accountable for paying a higher rate than what you were quoted due to their mistake.I should note that the initial quote I got was about where other companies where charging and their retroactive price increase makes their charges way out of line.

My wife and I have been with State Farm since 1984 and with Sarah ever since she took over the local office. The few times we’ve needed their services due to accidents, the agents in the office were very friendly, responsive, and helpful. They pretty much took care of everything. When my daughter and my son were teenage drivers they provided good suggestions to keep the premiums as low as possible. I had full coverage insurance on it before I drove off the lot..They have yet to reimburse me minus the 19 days for it being stolen. Its been 4 1/2 years. Comment: We have been with State Farm for over 30 years - about 15 of them with Sarah Atkinsons Agency. We have policies on our home, rental, and our business. Recently, we experienced 3 accidents with 2 different delivery vehicles.The first accident involved a college aged woman who was not thinking when she merged into our lane and damaged our refrigerated delivery vehicle. Sarahs staff worked hard to insure our claim was expedited because we needed our delivery van to make our daily deliveries.About a year later, the same vehicle was involved in another accident and was declared to be a total loss. This accident was caused by our newly hired driver. With the assistance of Sarah and Kelly we worked with the State Farm Claims office to determine the value of this vehicle. They also assisted us with a Workers Compensation claim one of my employees filed. There was a period of time when i was bombarded with phone calls from both the property damage adjuster and the workers compensation adjuster at the same time. The staff at Sarahs office helped us through this period of stress and confusion.The accident described above resulted in our purchasing a new refrigerated vehicle. Months later this vehicle was rear ended. Again we relied on Sarah and Kelly to help us through this situation.We have been in business for about 14 years and had never experienced this many auto accidents in such a small period of time.We thank Kelly, especially, for being the Go To person for us.

Comment: They are all smiles while they take your money. But when it comes to customer support, they get an Failing Grade! Without even investigating an accident, or calling and interviewing the supposed driver, they looked into a supposed crystal ball, made an arbitrary decision, and placed the driver of an unoccupied parked car at fault! Incredible!!! They then doubled our insurance premium. I have never had a ticket nor have I ever been in an accident. 40+ years with State Farm, and this agent didnt give a rats behind. Shameful!
