Sarah worked with me during a very hot market. Because things moved so quickly once a home was on the market, I appreciated her promptness and ability to navigate the market. She went above and beyond to help us secure funding for a non-warrantable home and helped us when our appraisal came back lower than expected. While the home buying process can be stressful, I felt reassured knowing Sarah was there for us to guide us through the process. Having bought and sold many homes in our life, our most recent experience working with Sarah Maiga as our representative to both sell our home and buy a new one was by far the BEST EXPERIENCE we have ever had. As you can probably relate, buying & selling can be a very stressful event, but Sarah worked diligently to help us stay calm, efficiently to get all our questions answered and effortlessly tied both deals together without having to move twice in what is one of the craziest real estate markets we have ever dealt with. Beyond that, Sarahs insight and expertise of the real estate market at both the micro and macro levels is second-to-none. She is truly a full-service agent that is in it to win it for her clients. On the sell side, we initially enlisted Sarah back in 2019 to help us sell our new construction home that was at a high price point in a slower market. Sarah was patient, organized and thorough and ultimately ended up working with us over a period of 2 years keeping us up-to-date and aware of market changes until she secured an off-market buyer who paid a record price for our home and she negotiated over 75 days for us to stay in the property post-closing so we could have ample time to find a new place. What we loved the most about our experience working with Sarah is that we truly felt like she was looking out for us and representing our interests from start to finish. In fact, I would frequently call with questions and she was always prompt to respond and one step ahead of us. She had not only been working on the issue, she would have a plan in place to keep things moving forward seamlessly. Her continuous follow-up is outstanding. Sarah Maiga is the best Realtor we have ever worked with to buy and sell. We felt that she had our best interests at heart every step of the way. She provided us with resources, advice, guidance and proactive marketing efforts. From our first interaction to beyond the closing table, Sarah consistently took initiative. In fact, we initially met over the phone when I called her interested in one of her listings. During the call, I told her we would likely sell by owner or use someone we know - I never gave her our full name or address. This did not deter Sarah. Within days, we received a personalized note in the mail asking us to give her a chance to interview to be our Realtor. We are incredibly glad we did!!Her thorough market analysis, formula to arrive at the asking price of our home and fierce negotiation methods made it a no brainer. Sarah wants whats best for one of your biggest investments!! If we hadnt listened to her and listed with her, we may have undersold our home. We had 5 offers over asking very quickly and ended up with the highest selling price in our neighborhood in many years!On the buying end, our offer was the last one in and the lowest in price. If only every home buyer/seller could have a Sarah Maiga! I was about to purchase my first home and sell our familys condo when I started interviewing real estate experts. After meeting with several real estate veterans who have been successful in the field for decades, we met with Sarah. It did not take long for my husband and I to realize that Sarah was the most knowledgeable and professional negotiator anyone could have on their side. I worked with Sarah to buy a house in Canton MI and then five years later used her again to sell the same house. In both events Sarah was very knowledgeable about the process and kept me updated and informed at each step of the way. I appreciated that she used her team to capture drone shots, video walk-throughs, and still images of the house; really made it easy to show the public on common websites. She also made sure that the details on title transfer, city tax, etc… was taken care of by her team; all I had to do was show up to sign papers and walk out with my check. I would recommend Sarah to anyone seeking to buy or sell a home in the hot Michigan market.
As a first-time home buyer, Sarah was a great fit for us. We were looking for someone who could quickly respond to our questions and provide us advice on what options were available - Sarah surpassed our expectations. We bought in a sellers market, but with Sarahs advice on making an offer, we were able to close on the first home. We had to navigate having major repairs done to the sewer line after inspection, which Sarah handled well. She was proactive in reaching out to our loan officer, the sellers agent (many times), contractors, and the title agent. When I was ready to sell, I contacted 3 agents. Sarah was the 3rd person I talked to and was by far the most professional and personable. I am moving from Chicago, back home to Michigan, after 24 years of living on both the east and west coasts prior to Chicago. Previously, I have bought (and sold) 3 homes, and I knew this fourth was going to my last. I also knew living in Chicago and given the current market conditions that I needed to work with a buyers agent who was both service oriented and a market expert to find my final resting place. When I first reached out to Sarah back in December of 2020, she returned my call the next day: from wayoverseas visiting her in-laws. High marks there for responsiveness and technical savvy. She had me at Hi, this is Sarah Maiga, how can I help you?.Her oranizational skills, passion, reputation for integrity, and her strong network of building contractors and fellow real estate professionals allowed me to comfortably explore many options without compromise ranging from major remodels, homes requiring only cosmetic re-finishing, to new construction . Sarahs boys always showed up at their appointed times and their estimates were fair and valid.After 6 visits to Michigan over 3 months and viewing 12 or so homes, Sarah and I dialed in on a home requiring only cosmetic re-finishing. She nimbly approached the listing agent before suggesting I make an offer. The negotiations went quickly and my counter offer, still less than list price, was accepted.In this dysphoric housing market, chance favors the prepared mind. Sarah, her closing team, her inspectors, and her contractors were prepared, punctual, and personable. We were incredibly impressed with her professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm at our very first meeting and those qualities continued to impress us during our 11+ month time working with Sarah.We were very particular during the buying process with both the type of home we were looking for and the location, but this didnt stop Sarah from helping us to find our dream home. She worked around our very busy and hectic schedules for showings and meetings. She was very good at teaching us about different parts of the buying and selling processes. In the end, Sarah was able to write an offer for us that beat out many other competing offers for our dream home! When it came to selling our home, we had an offer after less than 24 hours on the market.Overall, it was an absolute pleasure working with Sarah. 2022-06-07Sarah Maiga did an outstanding job for my wife and me with regards to selling our family home of 29 years and in helping us find an appropriate downsized place to live! From the very start, Sarah met with us, had appropriate comps for our home, and helped us understand the value of our home. She then provided advice on how to best present our home for sale. She had a plan and we followed her advice to a T! As a result, through her excellent marketing (staging, pictures, videos, 360 tours on line) our house sold for a significant amount over asking and sold in less than three days. She help us get the condo ready with suggestion what color to repaint all walls and replace all carpeting that will help get the best offering price. She employed a profession photographer to take photos and videos during the previous autumn that showed both the inside of the condo as well as the surrounding neighborhood. She has a wonderful online system to verify our intention to post, to sell and to confirm the offer to sell from the buyer. She knew and advised what was the best purchase offer.
