Comment: It’s chill and low key. If you mentally plan your route where you wanna go it’ll help you cut loose and just drive. It’s a fun little 3 wheeler with a moped engine and enough to have fun. We enjoyed it, not shabby.

Comment: We were visiting from out of town and were eager to participate in this activity because the webpage looked good.Im giving this a 3.5/5 because we experienced a couple difficulties on our outing. We were instructed to start our buggies during instruction, but the engines were so loud that it was difficult to hear the person explaining to us the rules and how to use the buggies. When we first started, everything seemed fine; my husband stated that as he tried to speed up, he could sense something was wrong, but we didnt believe it would be a problem because we were still practicing on small roads. We intend to follow their tourist map, which they recommended, which will take about an hour at full pace.As we exited the small streets, and began to make our way towards Garden Street, we became aware that the buggy we were riding in did not seem right. We hardly exceeded 10 mph, and as we descended, it continued tugging us to the right. We didnt feel safe, so we returned within 20 minutes and informed them of the problem. We even switched drivers to ensure we werent going insane. Our friend who tried our buggy stated that something was wrong and that it did not feel the same as it did with his; he even sped up and was terrified.As we returned all buggies, the person who was there was understanding and kind; he offered a small refund and only charged us for one hour (we paid for two hours); we advised him that it didnt feel safe and that something was wrong with one of the vehicles; he advised that he just updated the suspension on the car, but didnt seem to want to test ride it himself to see if there was truly an issue - pretty sure it wasnt a suspension issue. Aside from that, if the buggy didn’t feel sketchy, this would have been a fairly enjoyable experience.

Comment: You will not be disappointed!!! If you are in Santa Barbara you have to get a buggy and tour around you will have a blast!! Me and my wife and kids had so much fun! We will definitely be back.

Comment: BUYERS BEWARE: I left with a ringworm infection all over my scalp after wearing one of their helmets. I did a tour September 11th and unfortunately didnt think twice when I was handed a helmet without any liner. Since waking up Saturday morning with this infection, Ive had to track down already 2 doctors as well as throw away multiple personal items and thoroughly wash everything my head touches until this infection clears up... AKA I got more than I bargained for. Ive spoken with one of the owners to notify them and he has refunded me. This stuff is extremely contagious and its not fun!

You may feel silly riding these, but the second we got in, we had no regrets. 100% recommend.The location is a bit sketchy. It’s basically a tent on the side of the road which made us nervous. But it clearly didn’t impact our experience. Do it! So worth it!

Show up and rent one and you can look like the idiot tourist spewing way beyond acceptable levels of smog per size of vehicle. I hope the city shuts them down before someone dies.

Comment: SB Buggie team especially Kenny provided us with a great Buggie experience. The staff went over the instructions, in a clear and precise manner. They showed us where we could and could not go and provided us with an awesome buggies that we enjoyed driving around town for two hours. These little buggies can go fast up to 50mph and even go up hills!!We had a great experience and everywhere you drove people would smile, wave, and take pictures of you driving around town in these fun little mobiles. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

Comment: We had a great experience at SB Buggy rentals. It was seriously a blast. Were from Ventura and are pretty familiar with SB... or so we thought. It was great to get the scenic tour and view all of the beautiful panoramic coast. The staff was relaxed and made sure we were comfortable in the buggy before going to do our own thing. The directions were clear and made sense. We didnt need to use gps. It was affordable- we used a Groupon.Tips: leave all belongings besides ID and a card in your car beforehand. There isnt space on the buggies to store your items.Have fun!

Comment: SB Buggie is absolutely incredible! I rented all 11 of their buggies for a private party and we had a blast! Mike, one of the owners, and his faithful pup (adorable) led us in a massive caravan through all of the best sights in SB. We were like our own parade and folks around town loved. Our group dressed up in Mario Kart themed costumes complete with balloons (lives) tied to the back of our buggies. People loved the theme. I havent smiled non-stop for two consecutive hours like I did riding with SB Buggie. Its safe and feels adventurous. The wind running through your hair is exhilarating! Definitely an adrenaline rush! Having rode the Land Shark and the SB Trolley Car, I can easily attest that SB Buggie is hands down the BEST way to explore Santa Barbara! And dont just think this is a tourist activity because my entire party was made up of locals and native Santa Barbarans and everyone LOVED it! Thank you for a great ride SB Buggie!

Comment: Great times!Truly amazing and unforgettable way to experience Santa Barbara.The sight of a dozen Mario Kart themed buggies blasting thru downtown and down the coast was a spectacle to see Im quite sure.What a blast. we were smiling and waving to all the people along the route who in kind, were filming us and waving back.
