It was the old school service that us generation X members would appreciate most. It was a very cool and simple experience even though I was sick as heck.Sean even gave me some help while I was at other dealers. Very few people would do that. They still would not honor it. Wish I could give zero stars. Their service department is a joke.Also, I bought the vehicle there. When it come time to purchase another new vehicle. I will look elsewhere.P.S. I wrote service for many years. There is such a thing as goodwill extension. I will be contacting the District Service director about this.In the meantime I will have to pay for a repair for an oil leak. This vehicle only has 39,000 miles on it. Very unhappy. Comment: Took my 2006 CRV in for a new clutch. I figured the dealer would be the one most likely to have parts for an 18 year old vehicle. While replacing the clutch the mechanic noticed that the ball joints for my steering control were almost completely thread bare. It was only a matter of time before Id lose control of the steering. I did have to pay for the new ball joints, but there was no charge for the service since they were already servicing the clutch.I am grateful that the Scott Robinson mechanic was so thorough he noticed something the car was not specifically there for, saving me from what could have been a horrible accident.Additional note - this dealership paid for my rental car while my CRV was being repaired.

He was patient, extremely helpful; and even with my frustration over such an expensive issue, Oscar was so nice that I couldn’t be upset! His communication, kindness, and Customer Service was top tier.Oscar was so kind and friendly that I will definitely go back to this Honda dealer for all my future car service needs. Comment: Got colorant flush completed few months back. This resulted in the heater taking too long to warm. Didn’t get a chance to stop by at the dealership right away with busy work schedule. Had to schedule twice with a 18 mile drive and 4 hour wait to even look at the car with appointment. To top it all of, the rude lady expected me sign a waiver for not being responsible for any damage to the vehicle they are servicing. I messaged their customer service that I will share this experience on google, the rude lady refused to fix the issue their service created claiming that I am giving threats and a “difficult” customer to work with and asked me to leave. Last time I am going to this delearship for anything!

Comment: I went to Scott Robinson Honda in Torrance for a regular service, I asked for an oil change and tire rotation a few days later I noticed the tires werent rotated and I was charged for it, I contacted the dealership told them about the situation the lady l spoke to said that if had proofl told her I had taken pictures of the the car a few days before the service took place and I can see the tires in the pictures because the rear tire has some scratches thats why I was able to tell they didnt do the tire rotation. A few minutes later the lady that help me out that day reached out to me, her name is MARGARITA ENRIQUEZ by the way, saying that the tire rotation wasnt done because my tires were bad and forgot to tell me but she didnt forget to charge me for it, also on my paperwork it says that the splash shield was damaged and need it to be replaced when I got home I looked under the car and the splash shield wasnt there at all, I been coming to this dealership since I purchased the car back in November 2021, but now wont be coming back I wonder how many time have they been doing this, TAKE PRE PHOTOS OF YOUR TIRES OR ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE BRINGING YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE TO THIS DEALERSHIP ESPECIALLY IF YOU GET HER AS YOUR SERVICE ADVISOR SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO HER JOB.

Comment: Be aware of the dealership,I called to confirm the price for a car that was listed for 9,998 I explained them that I am have hour and half driving and wanted to confirm it’s the real price.After arriving and test driving the car I filled the credit application and the sales rep was like : “ our cars comes with 2 extra security systems that will be a few thousand more, but I will try to low it for you after we will run the credit application”, I asked for him to confirm first with his manager.The car price came to almost 14k instead of 10k and the manager said that becuase the price for the car is low he must add this “security fixtures”.After asking to speak to the manager the answer was simple, I am not getting involved in the sales and if they don’t want to sell the car without installing the security systems that cost 2,000 they don’t have to do it and that they can keep the car for themselves, and I am welcome to leave if I don’t want to pay extra 2k then I was told it’s up to me.So if you don’t want to waste your time better to skip this dealership, and trying normal reliable dealership without hidden fees.

This is the last time I would come back to get a new car or service, I drive from Long Beach to come to Scott Robinson Honda because I bought my Honda accord here. Even though I have 100K warranty, I have spent over $2500 to get my car which is pulling to left fixed. After number of parts I was charged for because I hit a pothole about a year ago. After tires and few parts I found myself here again and again. Unfortunately attitude was terrible by the person who checked me in and Arnie who is the manager of service. I was told all they can do is alignment and if this doesn’t fix they would recommend me to a non Honda specialty alignment place with an attitude. I have tolerated this for about year. My car after numerous service and parts is pulling to left on speed over 60 miles. Beside the attitude I didn’t appreciate their work. They didn’t care whatsoever about my concerns however they collected over $2500 for various parts related to this matter on four different visits. I like to ask the management why I have been charged for $2500 in addition to tire costs for this problem which is not fixed and to say that we have done everything. He didn’t care if the problem has been resolved or not. This is the last time I come back to this Honda for anything. I like Honda cars but I don’t like this dealership. I try Long Beach where I live.Dear Honda, I understand about warranty but the issue is after five service with charge, my car is still pulling to left. I was told I need to take it someplace else where they were not honda authorized service I didn’t. Again, the issue is my problem hasn’t been resolved after numerous service calls. Thx

I made 8 calls over 2 months to try and get my replacement part. All i got was the run around and calls transfered to voice mail where my messages were never returned. I finally gave up and bought the part myself and will install it myself. So disappointed especially after the fact that in the last 16 months i have bought 2 cars from Scott Robinson. Comment: I want to reply to the response posted by Scott Robinson Honda service manager about my 2016 Honda Clarity air conditioner (AC). It’s bad enough that you tried to cheat me into replacing the evaporator (which i did not need to); it’s worse when you try to justify for action. You said Scott Robinson Honda is highly specialized and only one of the few places that has advanced machine to diagnose my AC correctly. Well, Culver City Honda replaced the condenser that you replaced a few weeks prior, and it has been working fine in the last 4 weeks.

Very reasonable and willing to make a deal over the phone with you so you can come into the dealership knowing what you’re gonna pay.The car he sold me was sold as-is and was missing a splash guard and the rear view camera was loose. Other than that, it was great mechanically.Anil agreed to fix the rear view camera and though he didn’t agree to fix the splash guard, I’m still happy given the car was supposed to be sold as is.As with anywhere, always protect yourself and bring a mechanic for a used car check.

Comment: Beware of the Scammer!1.5 month ago I took my 2018 Honda Clarity to Scott Robinson Honda (SRH) in Torrance for a non-functional air conditioner (AC). They replaced the AC condenser at no cost because it was still under an extended warranty by Honda.Four weeks later, the AC stopped working again. I took the car back to SRH. This time they told me it’s an evaporator, and it would cost more than 2900 plus tax to have it fixed. I questioned them, could this be the condenser that you just replaced? They insisted NO!I searched online and learned that the evaporator is deep inside the dashboard. In order to get to it, you have to disassemble the entire the dashboard, which confirmed by two separate other mechanics. They told me the evaporator rarely breaks down, let alone in a 5 year old car! They also surprised how the SRH could come to that conclusion without taking down the dashboard?I tried to contact the adviser Margareta more than half a dozen times but she never returned my calls/messages.I decided to take the car to Culver City Honda. They ended up replace the condenser at no cost.I had taken my Hondas to SRH multiple times over the years but NO MORE! WHAT A CROOK!!!

Comment: It’s the worst experience ever. Since my car stalled and died on me once on a road . I took my car to this place to get it checked up. It turned out telling me it’s something wrong with two simple stuffs and they asked me to pay for $1550 for the repair and $200 for the car inspection. It’s totally a rip off . I checked on the internet with my friend, and those 2 items only cost around $200 in total. But that’s not the thing I dislike the most . The service advisor who was workin’ on my case was really unprofessional and impudent. He kept chi chatting with others and asked me to wait for almost 45 mins instead of answering my questions. Besides, you could feel like he’s trying to manipulate you cause he knew that I was a rookie in cars. Anyways, I strongly not recommend anyone getting your car to this dealership due to my unpleasant experience .

Comment: DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!!I took in my Civic Hybrid for a full check up and inspection after buying it used to see if there are any problems or issues that I would not be aware of. After waiting for 4 hours for something that was supposed to take only about 2 hours and paying $200 for a terrible inspection, (as you will see) they call me up and tell me that the DC-DC converter on the car is failing and needs to be replaced for about $1,900. I was in shock. I knew that if the part was failing, a CEL, battery, and/or IMA light would be on on the dashboard. After contacting and driving up to a company that specializes in Hybrid vehicles, I found out that the DC-DC converter is completely fine, and the only problem I had was that the 12V battery at the front had a very loose positive terminal, so loose that you could lift it with you pinky finger! This caused the code U1221 to pop up on the scanner and therefore used as an excuse to sell me a part that would cost over $2,000 to repair! They not only almost scammed me of money, they went out of their way to create the code and make it seem that I needed that part fixed, when in reality, all you need to do is to tighten the terminal and the code would disappear!

Comment: Don’t get HondaCare! I purchased HondaCare when I purchased my car in 2019. It has since expired and I took my car to another location for routine maintenance. The new place informed me that the transmission fluid was never replaced. I called the Honda service center where I normally take my car and they confirmed my car never had transmission fluid service done, which they stated is usually done during a minor service around 30,000 miles. The last time my car was brought into Honda was over 35,000 miles. However, the service center said they are only able to perform HondaCare services when my car has the maintenance light come on. I paid a significant amount for HondaCare with promises that my car maintenance would be taken care of. Extremely disappointed in this service and I have been getting notifications to extend my HondaCare contract. Questionable and deceitful business practices. I called HondaCare and they said they could not do anything because my contract has expired. They also couldn’t give me an answer regarding when the service light for transmission fluid would go on, stating that it isn’t based on mileage. I called Scott Robinson Honda since this is where I purchased my car and could not get through. They only care about taking your money.

I purchased a Honda Civic in 2017 and with in 5 years the paint integrity was compromised on the roof, trunk, and sides of the car. I have taken excellent care of my car. I purchased an extended warranty on the purchase date for $ 1980. I filed a complaint with them 9-30-2022 did three follow ups and two emails before I got any type of response or assistance 8 1/2 months later today after I went for a fourth time and they said they could not do anything to help me. It is sad Honda does not stand behind their product. The paint should not have compromised in 5 years. In addition the General Manager Mike made a statement “we also have no control over where the car has been stored or how it has been maintained over the past 6 years”. Mike if this was your car you would have the same concerns and expectations as me! Scott Robinson I only requested Honda to fix a problem concerning a poor paint job from the manufacture!

Comment: We test drove the 2023 CR-V Hybrid Sports Touring with Ihab Ghobrial back in April. He was very professional, patient, and courteous. He took the time to explain the CR-V features during our test drive. We told him that we were still considering our options and he didnt pressure us in any way, which we truly appreciated. Once we decided on the CR-V, we contacted Ihab. However, the Canyon River Blue we wanted was on order with no actual ETA or VIN available (possible ETA in June). Ihab gave us a verbal pricing on the car, we couldnt even do a pre-contract since there was no VIN available yet.-We found another Honda dealer, through Costco Auto Program, that had the Canyon River Bule CR-V. However, that deal went south. We ended up contacting Ihab and went with the Urban Gray CR-V Hybrid Sports Touring instead. Ihab even matched the deal that the other Honda dealer offered us. The big reason we wanted to purchase from Scott Robinson was the Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty. We went to Scott Robinson Honda to do the pre-contract, so we can reserve our Urban Gray CR-V (also was on order). Ihab was busy with another customer, so Troy LaPeyrollerie helped us out instead. Troy processed our pre-contract quickly and then went to get the approval (that took quite a long while but Troy was able to get the deal approved). Then there was an issue about the payment to reserve the car, which Troy also got his manager to waive. It was a pleasure working with him._The Urban Gray CR-V arrived early on 6/9 and we worked with Brett Wright to complete the deal. Brett offered us discount on the extended Honda Care VSC and Honda Maintenance. The paperwork took quite a while, but we got it done. Outside, Ihab and Troy helped us get our car ready for the road. Ihab even paired up my wifes phone to the car and answer any last-minute question we had. We noticed the weatherproof mat in the back, and we wanted to get the weatherproof floor mats also. In the last year alone, I’ve purchased a new Civic Si for MSRP and have an Integra Type S on the way next month for MSRP. The dealership is already making money on a car when they sell it to you at MSRP. These “market adjustments” are pure profit for the dealership and the only dealerships marking up over MSRP are simply out to separate desperate car buyers from more of their hard-earned money. We came into Honda and my husband and I were greeted by the friendliest salesman, Basem “Michael” Yousef. I told him what we were looking for and what our budget was. He wasn’t only down to earth, but extremely helpful. When we found the vehicle we liked he brought its inside to see what he could make work for us. Comment: I bring my two Honda vehicles (2015 Odyssey, 2019 Clarity PHEV) here for service and my overall experience has been good.My preferred service advisor (Alex) has provided courteous and professional service and never been pushy to upsell unnecessary services. My other advisor (Aliza) has also been good. The place is clean and wait times are reasonable. The manager (Arnie) has shown empathy and responded reasonably in the situations that I brought to his attention.There is still room for improvement, especially in that ancillary paid for services have often not been performed as stated: I used to get the A1 service but tire rotations (part of the A1 service) were frequently not performed. I only found out once I started marking my tires. After this happened for the third time, I couldnt help but believe that it is a bad habit that wont change easily.I continue to be a loyal customer and hope that 1) they keep their good things going and 2) improve in the areas pointed out above.

Comment: We just had a horrible ordeal with Honda Service, which is a shame as we have been customers for 10+ years. Their customer service has really gone downhill. They are the epitome of over-promise and under-deliver. None of the employees seem all that concerned about taking care of the customer. After being told our repair could take place same-day, we are now on day three and still no car. Jenny, in particular, is very argumentative on the phone, and often contradicts information weve been given by other sources about our car in terms of when it will be done or what parts are needed, or when the parts will be available. And the cost just keeps escalating. Never a straight answer from anyone. I contacted the service manager today to express our frustration and concern. We finally have had enough and are pulling our car from the shop to get it fixed elsewhere. We are done with Honda. If you treat people poorly, you are going to lose customers, and, sadly, thats what has happened here.

It was pulling teeth just to get the MSRP of the car. The 8K-11k markup is ridiculous and they refuse to negotiate on the OPTIONAL accessories! Comment: The woman in the service department who said she was a service advisor had a less than stellar attitude and gave me the impression that she couldnt be bothered to deal with having to get the certified pre-owned vehicle purchased from another dealership in for service. Literally she would make a one line statement and I would have to ask a question for follow up. Example: Her: We dont have the part. Me: Okay, well when you order the part how long would it take to arrive. Her: A few days after we order it unless its backordered. Me: Okay, then do you need to order it before I bring in the car? Her: We need to put in a work order before we can order. Me: Okay then can I make an appointment? SERIOUSLY! AVOID THE SERVICE DEPT. at the dealership. Comment: I went to this service center for a noise in my car and they changed the wheel hub, they advised me to change my axle seal and steering wheel fluid as well and charged me huge which i accepted because I thought this is a reliable car service, and next day i found out my car is leaking oil which never happened before and i took it back they said its residual oil from change, and i went back home and then next morning I saw my car is still leaking and went back again and they said they celaned residual oil again and there isnt a problem in my car and told me to drive my car for couple hundred miles and bring back if it still continues which continued and went there again and now I have a leaking transmission box, they dont take any responsibility for that, because they say they didnt work on that part but it just leaked after I took the car service there, also if it was leaking before I took it there they would advise me to change it as well. So short story dont just trust because they are charging you a lot of money for labor, whatever they did caused my car to leak oil from transmission and i dont want to take it back to them again because it might end up causing another issue. So think couple times before spending fortune for you car service at this location

She did not confirm if I had an appointment then she tried to push later time for pickup. I told her I had an appointment for 10:45am. Again tried to push for later pickup time. Comment: Went here a couple weeks ago to test drive one of their used cars. Right from the get go Kent seemed very uninterested in selling the car. There was an alarm system in all of their cars. Keep in mind this alarm system is a 2k markup on all used cars. The salesmen Kent made it seem like they were doing us a favor by adding a 2k markup. Also apparently the 2k markup is optional in the contract, but they swear with their lives that they cannot take it off. In addition kept rushing the whole process and started detailing the car before we even went to finance. Safe to say I didn’t leave with the car that day. Save yourself the time and don’t even come here.

Comment: Not only are the staff at the dealership in general pretty unfriendly, The service department seems to be incredibly unreliable when it comes to efficiency for oil changes. In order to leave my car for an oil change I am instructed to leave it for an undisclosed amount of time, with zero guarantee as to when the car will be ready for pick up, which is also followed up by the suggestion of picking it up the following day based on my work hours. It’s incredibly unrealistic for the average person to spend an unforeseen amount of additional money on Uber and Lyft rides to get to and from home or work in order to supplement the time they will be without their vehicle especially because the dealership is not offering shuttle service at this time. I have made many attempts to try and get a concrete appointment with a concrete timeframe set, however Scott Robinson Honda does not seem to have the ability to accommodate. I’ve happily made arrangements at DCH Honda of Gardena, who was able to give me a structured timeframe that is both realistic and will not cost me an unfair amount of additional money out of pocket due to the inconvenience that leaving my vehicle for the day would entail. I highly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere if you were looking for a swift and timely experience, depending on your location and personal schedule I would also recommend driving as far as the Sierra Honda of Monrovia which is where I typically take my vehicle for all of its service needs.

Comment: I will never recommend this dealer to anyone. I was in the market for a Civic Type R a year ago and the cheapest one they had had a $15k markup. They wouldnt budge on that at all and even laughed at me over the phone when I told them I was looking for one for MSRP. I ended up finding one for MSRP a little while later. Last month I was looking to sell the Type R I owned as I no longer needed it and this dealer offered me $6k less than what I ended up selling it for to a different Honda dealer in SoCal. So not only do they mark up their vehicles like crazy, but also completely lowball on trades. Not once did I feel like I was being treated fairly or with respect. Stay away.

Been a customer over 20 years and having had claims,repairs, tune ups,etc & treatment was dismissive from Monica & GM Moko tried blaming me for not asking if they require deposit? Its the corporations responsibility to let us know upfront what their policy is. My catalytic converter was stolen.I am fully insured and no customer should ever be treated how I was treated. Never do business with this location.. The part was never ordered and no mention of a deposit on day one even though I had a claim and was covered. They made no attempt to make things right or apologized for dropping the ball. So bad that my statefarm agent had to get involved (Thank you Meredith Thompson Statefarm Agency ) and now I have to start this process over again..Had Id been given all the information upfront would of allowed a different outcome. Comment: My wife and I started shopping here for a new SUV and were helped by a really great salesperson named Duran. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and did not push us hard to buy. If we exclusively dealt with him, this review would be 5 stars. We set an appointment the next week to come in and purchase the car. We brought everything we needed to buy the car, and we both have great credit, so our visit should have been easy. Unfortunately, my wife and my experience dramatically changed once we were passed off to Doug, the finance guy. We told him multiple times that we did not want any extra warranties or extra features because we only had a specific amount to spend. We just wanted to buy the car. Unfortunately, Doug would not hear that. Not only did he not listen to us, but he pressed so much that my pregnant wife needed to step out of the room for a minute. After returning, we found that he still added an extra feature that we specifically said that we did not want. What’s even more shady is that he hid it amongst the other line items. After discovering this, he needed to redo the entire contract, which took us another 35 minutes extra. After 3.5 hours total we finally left with our new car. When my wife and I finally got home she told me she wasn’t even excited about the new car due to the stressful nature of our interaction with Doug. Had we known the experience would be this terrible we would’ve looked at a different dealership.

The laughably predictable game playing, the incessant back and forth to see the power-wielding, pompous finance dudes, the excruciating WAITING and then WAITING some more.This time round, the run-of-the-mill machinations were tempered by Steve. He was friendly, super knowledgeable and appreciative of how much I didnt want to be there one second longer than I had to. (Incidentally, he was also the ONLY guy at Scott Robinson Honda to answer his phone and show even the slightest interest in making a deal. Id been hounded for MONTHS by emails from the dealership expressing interest in buying out my lease - then I started responding to the emails and heard NOTHING back. Nothing. Steve answered the phone yesterday morning and by that night had sold me a car.)Thanks to Steve, there was minimal blatant game playing and only a couple of trips to see the Great and Powerful Oz finance guys. The wait to sign the reams and reams of papers was still obnoxiously long but the guy himself, Brett Wright, was personable and clearly knew what he was doing -- operating his dinosaur printers with the speed and efficacy of a guy whos good at his job and is at least semi-aware of how long the person sitting in the chair opposite them has been waiting for the privilege of handing over enormous sums of money to purchase an automobile.All told, a relatively painless experience and I was out of there in less than 3.5 hours which has got to be some sort of car dealership land speed record.

Comment: I was confident going in with a great referral to make sure I got the best deal. I didnt feel that they gave me the best price for a 2017 C-RV EX-L. There was a lot of time wasted because my sales representative Steve Ford was busy back and forth closing two other deals. I mentioned that I didnt have much time to wait for him to close other deals so I finaly got the manager and finance to help move along the process. Buying a car did not go as smoothly as I was hoping for. I do like the car that I purchased. Everyone who help me were nice but It took over 6 hours to make it happen. Buying a car has not changed a bit.I would still recommend Scott Robinson Honda but I would say have an efficient game plan instead of waiting around. Comment: It was my first time buying a new car, and I went with the Honda Fit. I was happy with my purchase because I felt like I was given time to think about whether or not I wanted this car. I came in by myself on the weekday to just test drive the Honda Fit because I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not. It turned out I really loved it, and during this time (due to Covid-19) they allow you to test drive it yourself for about 30 minutes. After the test drive, I told Troy I didn’t want to sign papers that day and I wanted to sit on it. I know at this point most salespeople try their best to get you to sign papers, but it didn’t seem pushy at all (or at least I felt fine flat out saying no). A couple days later, I made my decision to check out the car again and wanted to take my parents out to see the car. Troy continued to be ver6 accommodating while my mother asked lots of questions. We finally hit a number I was comfortable and happy with, and so I decided to buy the car. Pretty good experience, no complaints. Thank you, Troy and Scott Robinson! Honda!

Comment: I been interested in a new car for a few years and for the past couple months been researching what SUV to get. Currently I have a 2007 Honda Accord and before that I had a Honda Civic. I chose the Accord because I was in a near death car accident with my Civic and because of the safety feature of the seats falling back, in a roll over, I was given a glimmer of hope to survive. Not being able to drive for 8 months but coming out alive I knew I wanted to stick with Honda. Sadly a friend of mine was in a similar accident the year after, driving a G6 (whatever make that is) he was paralyzed from the neck down because his seat never went back. Meanwhile his girlfriend who already had her seat back (nap time) survived.With that said, Jonathan Lopez was my representative for the day. I went through the Costco Auto Program and Steve (dont know last name- sorry steve!) was assisting me through email and phone communication in the beginning and had referred me to Ashley, because of an emergency he had. She was still working with a prior customer so she referred me to Jonathan. Needless to say, Jonathan did an excellent job! He was able to explain to me the differences between the newer and older models, the different features and prices. And most importantly understanding what was important to me for my next car. He let me test drive two different models, one that had a sale price on it, although I didnt like the seat color option, and I said I would buy it right now if it had different seats. So he drove to the other lot to show me another one, that just came in, with the seats I wanted. I was sold! (not with the sale sticker, and it was a newer model, but thats how important to me it was) Thank you Jonathan! I am super stoked for my new car. The manager (Mike Cerconi) and finance department (Kevin Mazmanian) and Allstate representative (Gerardo Olvera) were all great at customer service and explaining themselves. Comment: This morning at 7am I was greeted by Tony Tran so that he can writeup the work order to handle my Honda Recall for the Fuel Pump Module. I came earlier in the week to have him order the part. He apologized a few times about having me come in 2 days earlier. On that day he gave me instructions to empty my back seat & trunk before coming in today. Also to have the fuel tank almost to the empty mark. He also suggested that I do the 20,000 mile service today since my mileage today was close to that anyways. He said that the car should be ready by 3p. At 10:30, Tony approached me in the waiting lounge and said that my Civic Sport was ready. HOORAY! Again he apologized that I had to come here earlier in the week. Comment: My husband and I both leased vehicles in 2016 and had a wonderful experience, I could not rave more about that experience, so obviously I would not be writing to this unless it was serious. We came into Scott Robinson on Sunday to investigate different options we had once our leases are up in June.We started with Ken the salesman who was super aloof and provided no information or actual answers to our questions. It seemed as though all he wanted us to do was test drive a vehicle, which we did and really liked the car. We asked about the promotions currently going on and he could not even recall.We then were essentially just thrown into Stuart Lipschitzs lap since we have leases. We told him exactly what we were doing there and that we were there to explore different options we had on our current leases and possibly go forward if we felt comfortable with it. From the start he was extremely aggressive, and his attitude was off-putting. He made inappropriate jokes to myself that made me so uncomfortable my skin was crawling.He rushed into taking a ton of information about our leases and the one vehicle we had with us at the time which included going out to the vehicle and asking for the registration (which he did not give back right away). We returned to his office and he started trying to sell us a car we did NOT want and kept saying he needed to educate me, which was ridiculous. He kept repeating over and over that I needed to go get the other vehicle we are leasing and that he’d separate me, from my husband to get the other vehicle. Which we were in NO place where that was even needed. He kept trying to rush us through so much so that he brought up a credit application without even asking us, and I am almost 100% sure he would’ve just pressed submit on it without asking us, if I hadn’t said something. We cut the conversation there because he was trying to tell me he HAD to run my credit to talk about different options, but I know from our first visit and other visits at different dealerships that this is not needed.We walked away and noticed that he had never given us our registration back. My husband went to ask for it back while I waited at the car. While I was waiting, this man came up to the open door of my car and was trying to get into it to talk to me and kept harassing me about why we were leaving and that if I came in he’d “educate me” on leasing and car buying. I asked him if he had our registration and he was like “No, I gave it back to you,” which he had NOT and luckily my husband came back and made him give back our registration, after this man again berated him on leaving and saying to my husband that he needed to “educate me” again. We luckily received our registration back from him and were able to leave.I am so taken aback about how we were treated. Since when did Honda become a hard sell dealership? We are coming into our decision period about what to do with our leases and we were really considering buying a car from you all and getting a new lease, but this is now very up in the air and we are extremely close to turning in the cars and taking our money elsewhere.

Comment: Long story short we purchased a brand new honda everything went good until we noticed some imperfections on a brand new 2019 honda. Apperantly someone backed the car onto another car and left the license plate imprint on the bumper as well as curved rims on the same car. Was promised it would get taken care of so we went forward with the deal. After all was paid the demeanor to fix the issues changed and one of the managers only gave us 2 options either leave the car and return it or take it and we will fix it when we have time. After the whole ordeal and going back and forth with one of the managers (dont get me wrong, the salesman helped and did an awesome job) but his manager over shadowed him with rude attitude and negative help. Will I refer friends and family to this dealership in the near future.... NOPE! Oh and we are on the 3rd week and still no efforts to fix damages (done by the dealer before the car even left the facility) to a brand new 2019 honda. I emailed 21 dealerships across Southern California for quotes on a new Honda CR-V Touring and narrowed it down to two that had the color/trim we wanted on the lot that day and had very competitive prices. We drove an hour from San Diego to the first dealership only to discover that the vehicle had more miles on it than expected and had a bunch of dealer adds we didnt want (which means the actual price was more than $2K higher than the quoted price even before taxes and fees).After 90 minutes there, we walked out the door and drove another hour to Scott Robinson (after making sure they had what we wanted without a bunch of miles--should be a new car, duh). We worked with Gray Kendall who was able to get us the trim level and color we wanted with 10 miles on it and ZERO DEALER ADDS... Which meant the quoted price ended up being the ACTUAL price! They also agreed to make our last lease payment on the vehicle we were swapping out of (an earlier CR-V).Even the finance guy, Richard Bruce, was great to work with (you know how some finance guys can be, am I right?) and we felt like we were being dealt with fairly and honestly. No sales manager swooped in at the last minute trying to change things up. They offered the usual maintenance and other plans, but nobody was pushy or obnoxious. A+ for that!Also, I just have to say... This was the nicest looking Honda dealership weve ever walked into, service was on-site late to wash and swap license plate frames on our vehicle, and it was even nice seeing diversity among the employees/staff.If we lived closer we would come back for all the routine service/maintenance (wish our local dealer was as on top of it as this one).I would absolutely recommend Scott Robinson Honda and the staff we worked with to friends and family.

I was happy they were able to match my Price another dealer in Huntington Beach quoted me. The financing department took a while, but then again there was only one person doing all the financing for all the buyers close to closing time. The only recommendation I would make would be have at least two financing employees because then that would reduce wait times and possible upset customers. I was not upset I was happy because I was getting a new car but i was sick with the flu and tired and didnt really enjoy waiting for close to an hour to get the papers signed.

I can’t say the same for other dealerships as I was told by others that the car was there and ready for a test drive, but when I showed up they told me it had been sold days ago and I should look into another more expensive model that they had (looking at you Downtown LA Honda). After being jerked around by several other dealerships, exhausted and frustrated, I showed up here and they were friendly and very helpful.After a test drive with Darren, Stuart helped me out with the logistics and the negotiations on price. He was straightforward and gave me a great price (I had been doing weeks of research so I knew it was the best price in 100 miles). He didn’t make me sit there for hours while he “talked with the manager” or try to jam add-ons down your throat like many other dealerships do. I felt like his goal was to find me a car that I wanted at the price that worked with my budget, not to “sell me” a car. It was such a breath of fresh air dealing with Stuart and Darren.Long story short, I got the car I wanted at an amazing price and couldn’t be happier with my experience. Everyone there seemed to love their jobs and love helping people. I live in Pasadena, but I would not buy a car from anywhere else (even though this is in Torrance). It was worth the drive and I just wish I would have gone here first; I would have saved a week of my time.

He carefully listened to my needs and explained the car’s features in a clear and meaningful way. I have to admit, I was fearful of purchasing a vehicle through a car dealership but Sean eased all of my concerns. His friendly and caring approach made the process very easy for me.
