AMAZING EXPERIENCE!I was in a bit of a pickle when I was trying to find a place to fix the chip in my windshield, and these guys were fantastic, fast, and friendly! I got in there no problem, and they even had an air conditioned office with FREE refreshments on a very hot day! Will always go back to them for anything in the future. Amazing staff and service! If you want something done right and fast go here for sure! I know I will!
I have been to Scott’s twice now within this past year. They do a great job! This week I got my car back 2 days earlier than planned (they don’t waste time!) & it was vacuumed with a cold water waiting for me inside! Such friendly service from the front desk as well, highly recommend!!!

I am extremely satisfied with the way my car turned out. Joe kept me informed of the progress of my car and they insured that I got the best parts. Very please with the quality of work that was done to my car, the people were very friendly and the environment was clean and welcoming! I was also very pleased with how clean my car was when I picked it up because it was quite filthy when I dropped it off. Overall they did a fantastic job fixing my rear bumper and making my car look beautiful again, I would definitely recommend.

Was greeted by Mike and Mike right when i drove in the driveway. They were both gracious and very concerned about the damage to my vehicle. Mike did the estimate and had it sent immediately to my Insurance company . The next few days the car was taken in and work began. The text message system was outstanding and i waited for a text from them each day on the projected time of work and percentage of work completed. I commend the guys at Scotts for getting things done timely and concerned with quality. I would recommend Scotts as they, truly treat you like they would their own Mother. Thanks Scotts.
Hands down this is the business to service your car!Since I dont know a lot about cars I am always uneasy when getting my car serviced.As a previous business owner I was impressed on how I was treated during the entire process at Scotts.Here are the things I thought they did right:1. Mike introduced himself right away and was friendly.2. He explained how they could repair the car and never talked down to me.3. He over delivered and under promised.4. Transparency 100% through the process.5. Scotts offers a pick-up or drop - off service.6. I liked how I was updated by a text.The entire process was positive and created trust. I would highly recommend doing business with them.
I had a run in with a deer and they were very prompt in taking care of everything for me from scheduling a day to drop off my jeep to taking care of the insurance aspect to text updates to keep me apprised as to how they were coming to delivering the jeep to my house when it was finished.They did a great job and the Jeep looks brand new again! I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality and timely repairs to their vehicle.
Brought our truck in after we hit a deer. We had issues after we picked it up took it back and the wind noise from our door they told us is normal and nope that’s not. Now had to replace light bulb on drivers side and the bucket was zipped tied in by a few zip ties holding the bucket in. So obviously wrong bucket because why would you need to zip tie it in. Call them and they ask us to bring it back and will have it fixed in a day. I don’t think so if they can’t fix it properly the first time why take it back and be treated like the dumb one. I will never refer anyone there or have a good thing to say about them.
I have had numerous repairs done by Scotts over the last 12 years or so. These people know how to provide the best in paint repair services that I have found. The staff is always professional and efficient. Take your vehicle here, and you will not be anything but happy with the results. My wifes Lincoln looks brand new, and the color is spot on. Scott’s Body Shop is run by top notch people that offer 5 Star quality service. Their customer service is amazing as well as their work. Some of the extra perks are offering shuttle service if needed and loving on your car by having it washed and detailed at pick up.
Could not have asked for a better experience. The gentlemen I mostly dealt with, Mike, was very friendly and explained everything. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company and so all I really had to do was drop it off and pick it up. They kept me posted on progress and the car was even ready for me a day earlier than expected. The repair was perfect. Really a positive experience all around.
This is the second time I’ve taken my car to Scott’s body shop, and the second time they’ve exceeded my expectations. They originally quoted me almost a week and a half of repairs and since I was paying for a rental car out of pocket they put me at the front of the list and got my car done in 4 days!! Even detailed the inside of my car. Staff is friendly and professional! Will be the only place I trust working on my vehicle in the area.
They gave me an estimate for deer damage to my car in under 30 minutes. And explained the whole process for getting it fixed and working with the insurance.

The environment at Scotts body shop is always positive and uplifting. I enjoy the music that they play while I wait, and most of all I enjoyed their convienant text updates as I waited for my badly damaged car to be repaired. They were always clear with me as to what was going on in the repair process, and when I got my car back, it felt brand new because of their awesome work and how well they cleaned and detailed the inside.
Damage from hit & run while car was unoccupied:Fantastic repair facility! Mike kept us informed every step of the way via text messages. We were pleasantly surprised when we picked our CR-V up, not only was the work perfect but it was detailed inside and out including Armorall on the tires. I had an issue with the doors on my car not opening (3 of the 4 wouldnt open from the inside or the outside). After calling every shop in the big rapids area and being quoted $80+ to LOOK AT THEM, I tried Scotts. They looked at them for free and charged me a very reasonable amount to fix all three!!! The guys took great care of me and I felt confident that they were being honest, which I rarely see in a mechanic shop as a young woman that knows very little about cars. I think I found my new mechanic shop.
Scotts Body Shop has performed major body work on 3 or 4 of my cars in the last 10 years. (None my fault....just sayin). Each car looked good as new and was delivered on time. They kept me informed of the progress. The staff are always so friendly, youd like to grab a cup of coffee and shoot the breeze for a while but they have work to do. Ask me to recommend a body shop and Ill say go to the big mailbox on Northland.
Had a difficult situation where a couple of local business locations could not help with what I needed. I contacted Scotts Body Shop, and the rest is history. Fantastic people to work with! I hit a deer and smashed my car up pretty good. I called 5 different places before Scotts. Very happy I took my business to Scotts. When you walk in, the waiting room is so modern and clean. You are greeted with a friendly warm smile by the receptionist. Joe came right out shook my hand and we went to look at my car. The whole process was awsome. Joe called me every few days to keep me completely in the loop. I even received texts. The day I picked my car up i was so happy. My car was spotless inside and out. It was like i just bought her off the lot. All the employees at Scotts are great!I watched another employee interact with a customer, same awsome treatment. Shook his hand kept a smile on his face and was actually listening to him. I highly recommend Scotts Body Shop. Dont bother calling around. Great customer service! They helped me align my fender when I went there to receive a quote to ensure no further damage while I waited to receive my insurance money. Truly appreciated their care and concern for my car. Fair prices and they got me in to get fixed very quickly!
Made it right. Took my beloved truck in for a windshield replacement, chose Scott’s due to good reviews. Got the truck back and they had scratched the paint above the windshield considerably. Owner would not admit it was their doing but fixed the problem. I would return as they ultimately did as they were paid to do.
Getting harder to find people who really care about doing their job these days. Scotts not only did an excellent job on the repairs to my truck, but went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my entire experience with them. Scotts went above and beyond any body shop Ive been to. We recently moved here and I had no idea where to go after my run in with a deer. My passenger window was shattered and I had been finding glass in every nic and cranny of my car. After they fixed the damage to my car, they basically detailed the inside and I havent seen a piece since. They are very wonderful to work with!
Dropped my Ford Escape off to have the passengers side rear wheel well replaced. If anyone in this area of Rogers City/Big Rapids and needs collision work, I highly recommend Scotts Body Shop. Awesome people and gave me a great price. Ford Escapes are famous for the wheel wells rusting out.

Scotts was extremely helpful. My husband accidentally side swiped a rental car. Very stressful abd frustrating situation. We explained everything to them and they fixed it FOR FREE! The damage was not bad, buffed it out but the fact they were helping us out when they couldve made a quick buck meant so much to us! Thank you Scotts Body Shop!
Ive heard good things about this place. We wrecked our car on jan 13th. With our full coverage insurance we chose to take it to this place. Two weeks later on the 27th We began to worry because our rental was running out on feb 6th. We called insurance for an update. After a few calls we found out Scotts had been backlogged and hadnt even looked at it. They swore on that thursday theyd get a estimate in for friday. It did happen until monday. When it was determined totaled we then had only 2 days left on the rental car. 2 days to find another vehicle. Major stress on this 100% disabled veteran and his family. We do not recommend this shop.
Took my 2017 Subaru Forester in for repairs after I hit a deer on my way into work. Great detail and excellent service, my car looked brand new again. Highly recommend, they go the extra mile!

I can understand why they are a preferred body shop by State Farm. They exude professionalism that is only commensurate with the level of work they perform.My 2004 Buick LeSabre was damaged by a crazy driver who couldnt stay in his own lane :) Scotts Body Shop made my car look like new in just a couple of days. If you need any body work done on you vehicle...Scotts Body Shop is the place to go!! They have always completed the work on time with a quality as if you just bought it brand new. I originally scheduled with Safelite to replace my front windshield because I thought it would be more convenient. However, Safelite canceled my appointments two weeks in a row due to the weather. Scotts Body shop got my car in the same week I called and was $120 cheaper than Safelite. They were really friendly and drove me to and from class at Ferris State, so I didnt need to arrange getting rides from friends. They saved my parking permit for me and reattached it to the new windshield saving me time and hassle. My favorite thing was how CLEAN my car was when it was return! I really let the interior of my car slide way down my to do list as I am a busy grad student. So having a fresh start looks, and smells, amazing!
Had to get a windshield replaced and Scotts Body Shop not only did a great job on that but went above and beyond with a quick car wash and cleaning of the interior. Friendly and efficient!

Took my fiancée Saturn to scotts. Body work is amazing. Paint is blended nicely, and the car was clean on the inside as was the outside. Soon upon driving we noticed the Service Engine Soon light was on, and it was not on previously. Hoping it goes away.
Took my truck in for a new windshield. Not only did the friendly staff offer me a ride back home while they worked on the truck, but they also cleaned my truck inside and out at no extra charge! They are a great shop, highly recommended!

Most of the reviews on here on by users who have only made one review in their accounts life. Scotts is a fake body shop that uses aggressive tactics to try to force other local shops out of business. Based on their plus sized billboards that loom over competitors shops and all the fake reviews on google, I give them one star.

2022-01-18I brought my Toyota Tundra in yesterday just at random and without an appointment to have my headlights adjusted. I had never been there before and had been turned down by other repair shops who wouldnt help me out. Scotts took my truck into the shop right away and 10 minutes later he brought it back out all done! They wouldnt even take any money for it! Wow I was amazed at how nice they were and will definitely be back! So great to have a business that actually cares about customers. Top notch! Many thanks 😊

2020-07-26Hit a deer about a month ago. We took my car to @scottsbodyshop in Rogers Heights. They did an awesome job fixing my car. They contacted us with updates regularly and my car came back looking brand new, inside and out. Had one small issue we figured out after the fact I brought it back and they fixed it right away. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing body work

2019-02-07They did a great job on my 6mo old brand new car. I was from out of town when I had a accident on the 131. They took good care of my car and kept me up to date by text message. Always courteous and the place is very clean. I would recommend them to anyone. Never had a problem with billing and insurance. Just picked up my car and go.

2020-01-16WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I had a big scratch on the fender that I needed to get fixed before turning in my lease and having to pay the damages. I took it here to get a quote. The lobby was beautiful, very clean, and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Mike the owner came out right away and looked at it for me. He was very friendly and honest and just a good guy. He ended up taking care of it for me in 10 minutes and saved me a fortune in the process. I HIGHLY recommend this shop and will definitely come here in the future!

2021-02-04Needed a chip repaired in my windshield and Scotts gave me a quote that was significantly cheaper than other services in the area. Everyone I spoke to at the shop was very friendly, and the chip repair turned out great. When the owner pulled my truck up front, he told me that the work done was free of charge, and that I was all set. I will be recommending this shop to anyone who needs body or glass repair.

2020-07-28I was very grateful for the team at Scotts! Not only did they fix the rear quarter panel of my car in 1 day, unscheduled; I was pleasantly surprised when I picked the car up and realized they thoroughly cleaned the interior and exterior, as well. They charged me less than the estimate and were pleasant, kind, knowledgable, and honest throughout the whole process. I will definitely go there again and recommend to others!!

2021-09-09Update...Sept 2021:Once again this business shows what it means to be professional. I stopped in for an estimate on a parking lot scrape on my door and Joe just went ahead and cleaned it then buffed it out so I couldnt tell there was any damage. Bravo and thank you once again. Great to have Scotts as a good neighbor!July 2020: What a professional staff! From the initial phone call to the final step of bringing my car to the door for me I couldnt ask for a better place to take my car for body repair.Timely updates by text and follow up phone calls from Joe to keep me posted as to the status of my car repair. After a phenomenal repair (cant tell it from a new car) they even washed the car, cleaned the interior and left a bottle of water for me. They even arranged the rental car to be there when I dropped off my car so I was never without transportation.Thanks guys, I cant say enough good about your company. Now can you give classes to other businesses so they can provide the same type of high service level you guys do?

2018-10-26Our experience with Scott’s body shop was phenomenal! From the very beginning estimate to picking up our jeep we were treated very well. Not once did they treat us bad. I hit a deer with our jeep and were told Scott’s does a great job, they went above and beyond! Once we dropped off our jeep they kept us updated through texts and phone calls. They washed and cleaned out the inside. That was a surprise to me, I’ve never had a body shop do that before. It was a nice touch. The above and beyond part is that they made our driver door flush with the rest of the vehicle! It was like that when we bought it. It makes a big difference. Mike said it only took them a few minutes to do, and those few minutes may be small to them but it was a huge deal to us! If we ever have to take our vehicle for work we know where we’re going!

2019-05-02I don’t normally write reviews, but these folks deserve a shout out. I went to them by recommendation and am glad that I did. All around very friendly staff. Speedy service. They kept me well informed on the repair progress of my vehicle. They made sure I got back my car before the holiday weekend.Also they pleasantly surprised me with an all out detailed cleaned up car. 2019-11-01Great auto shop! I came in for a small chip in my windshield. They fixed it within 30 minutes of me walking in the door and even gave the service to me for free. They care about building trusting relationships with their clients. Staff was helpful, Mike especially. Would highly recommend.
