Comment: Ive been a renter at Seacliff for several years and always have prepaid yearly. I went to renew for this year, and they increased my rate almost $100 for my parking space, even though my current rate is advertised online. They wouldnt honor it and said thats for new clients only. And no place did it say that and even if it did, thats just wrong. I left very angry and took my vehicle elsewhere. Its obvious management does not care about keeping their clients haply, or keeping them at all.

Comment: I really wouldn’t recommend SeaCliff. There are several issues:1. The hours are very limited2. They have a moisture problem in the building. I put a moisture absorber in my unit and it filled up in about 2 weeks; all of my boxes have become “soft” due to moisture absorption; when picking up items stored in plastic there is usually moisture on them.3. The key pads are placed in a terrible position, especially for a woman. You have to get out if your car to reach them; the exit one is several feet behind a curb and not in a place you can just drive out.4. It took over a month to get a working light in my unit, with weak excuses from the manager.5. I hate the locks they make you buy; it can take minutes to unlock and lock your unit.

When I went to leave on the 10th of the month - the day they say they will prorate you until, they told me since Id paid already for the month there was no refund. But they require payment on the first of the month, so Im not sure how they can pro rate something when they refuse refunds.

Comment: I was extremely impressed with everything. Dylan was extrememly professional. The its facility is kept very clean. I rented 5 x 8 that was actually slightly bigger! Last week I had looked at other storage units that were closer to home but they were literally 4 x 7, and when I asked them if I could measure the other units, they told me they are ALL the same size!#@? The only thing Id change is I wish that the hall lights would stay in longer. I have to kwalk several feet away from my unit and wave my arms 3 or 4 times.

You can tell he really cares about his customers/clients. He showed me all of the sizes of storage and allowed me to voice my concerns and ultimately ended up with a great storage unit that fits my needs. He is open and honest about his facility there and I feel completely comfortable leaving my stuff there.

The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because I tried to rent a 5x6 storage space and everyone was smaller than what was advertised. The manager was a little short with me and said that it was because they were on special which really doesnt make sense because you dont change the size of the units for a discounted rate. It was false advertisement. I went with a larger unit and dealt with another person who had better customer service.

There is one bright star, a very helpful employee named Alicia! 3/11/19 Im editing the review now that I moved out. The process was rather rocky and no one seemed to know what anyone else was doing. Regardless its over. I probably wouldnt rent there again because they seem a bit fee happy, at least in my case.

Comment: There are many storage companies from which to choose. For me, service is raight near the top. I have stayed with Seacliff because of the friendliness, helpfulness, and overall work ethic demonstrated by the staff. On my last trip, both Ashley and Jaclyn (spelling?) were fantastic.Seacliff is clean and well maintained. I had no problem with critters in my units. Since I live out of state, this was extremely important to me.Thank you, Seacliff.

Comment: Very clean and easy access, I have a trailer there but will soon be moving on. just coming to the end of introductory rate period and would be going from 159 to 227 a month. Kind of steep pricing. Then I get a card in the mail new rate will be 250. I understand increasing costs but 25 bucks a month come on, its a parking space, a simple leaf blower is all the maintenance needed. Then last month I get a call that the 24hour gate code device was broken and would be out of service for 2 weeks or so. I never got a call telling me that it was back active. Front desk staff needed help figuring out how long 6 months was when I signed up, tried to only give me 5 until I caught it before signing.

Comment: Clean, clean, nicely lit. Staff is hit or miss, wouldnt let my ladies daughter, who has own unit & was there @ it. Let her friend in to help her load unload belongings, saying your not on an approved list to be here.....? When people are there to help and storage holder is onsite or in unit they are apparently there to help, not hangout. Better friendly kind customer service needed but in all good place.

Comment: Super awesome staff! Clean! Security cameras on point so your unit is definitely safe.. only thing I would change is the closing times.. that has been my biggest issue due to it being so early on compared to other storage facilities.

Comment: Staff is very pleasant and professional. Overall appearance is a modern, well kept facility which is just off the main road yet convenient. Its quiet and theyre open until 7:45 which is a little later than the neighbouring Public facilities (who by the way are not very personable)!

Comment: New management change with inexperienced people who violate contract by increasing prices without prior client notification. Greedy managers. AVOID THIS PLACE. Despite a hand delivered complaintand calls, i received no replies for a refund of advance payments onmy credit card and had to dispute the credit card charge card after2 weeks.

Comment: While looking for a storage place, I came across a discounted internet pricing. I sent an inquiry and got a quick call back. I visted thier facilities and was happy with the up keep of the facilities. Denise showed both ne and my wife around for the different units which were available and we selected a movin special for $29 + prorated for the remaining days of the month, next month being rental free.Will update in 3 months to indocate how everything worked out.

Comment: Used this storage facility for eight months when I had to leave town for work. Definitely one of the best storage units Ive ever used. Large building and friendly staff. The units are kept a consistent temperature and size x price cheaper than youd pay at a Public Storage or Extra Space. Plus for the first 4 months that I rented a unit they have me 1/2 off each month! Would recommend to anyone and definitely use again in the future.

The facility is maintained, clean, safe, secure and well equipped, definitely the best storage facility in Surf City for long term use.

Comment: Good morning. Well I just started looking for storage units and was on my way to a job here in HB, when I popped in I was greeted by Lindsey. So I was in a hurry, told her I only had about 10 minutes just wanted some quick pricing and to see a demo unit. she was very inviting and helped me with everything I wanted to accomplish. The storage units were very nice and clean and the front office left a first and lasting impression.
